A/N: So Happy Easter to those that celebrate it! And as a gift to everyone I timed everything so I'd be able to post the finale on Easter.

On that note, as much as it hurts, this is the final chapter of Behind Closed Doors *tears* and I hate it. But at the same time, I'm excited to start planning and writing the sequel (which I have no title for so I'd appreciate any ideas you have!). I really would like to thank you guys for favoriting, following, and reviewing my story. You honestly can't even being to imagine how much it means to me. Behind Closed Doors was my first story, my first baby, and I was really worried, but you guys stuck with it.

Thank you guys! If you haven't already looked into it, check out my other story High School's a Bitch, and keep a look out for any other stories I upload (I'll put an A/N on HSAB when I put up a new story). Lastly, expect a chapter to be posted on here when I post the sequel :)

Again, thanks!

Wendy

"I could get used to this," I murmured against Dimitri's lips, a smile on my face as we basked in the afterglow of picking up where we left off last night.

"You're father's going to kill me," he replied as he pulled away and slipped his briefs back on.

"Like he noticed."

"Roza, you're weren't exactly silent. I think my mother heard you." I couldn't help but laugh and straddle him before planting another deep kiss on him.

"You weren't complaining. Plus, he said not funny business last night. He said nothing about this morning," I pointed out as I got dressed.

"You should be a lawyer," he joked.

"Nah too many long hours and possible cases that take all my time. I'd be worse than my mother. Plus I want to do hands on helping like doctors but with a more stable schedule," I said.

"So like a psychologist? Or a psychiatrist if you want to go through med school."

I stopped halfway through putting my shirt on and looked at him. I hadn't actually thought about that.

"I've already taken the introductory classes needed for psychology majors and minors, all I have to do is take some more general classes and then some specialized one. I could do the generals this summer," I said, thinking out loud as I snuggled up to Dimitri.

"Sounds like a plan," he said before planting a kiss on the top of my head.

"We're really gonna do this, aren't we?" I asked looking up at him. "Nothing coming between us again."

"The only thing that will ever come between you and me will be your belly when you carry our child, but I'll work a way around it." I couldn't help the big smile that spread across my face picturing myself eight months pregnant with a big belly.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," he said, our foreheads touching in silence for a while. "Roza, what if we move in together? I mean I know you said you didn't want to move fast, but everyone knows now and I really don't want to be having to sneak around your father."

"After school's over. I promise. Plus, I think you have to fix your place up a bit."

"Or he could move in here," my father said, appearing out of nowhere.

"What?" I asked after my heart beat slowed down.

"Rose, I'm not an idiot and I'm not blind. I knew after you came home from that party it was a matter of time before you got over yourself and took him back. By the way, I admire your perseverance in not giving up on my daughter," he said, sidetracking a bit before getting back to the point. "I'm out of the house more than I am in it. And when I am here it's only for a few days. I was already planning on giving you the house after you graduated as a present."

"Aw, Baba, thank you," I said, sincerely. "But it's just the two of us and this is a pretty big house. How about this? When I finish the school year, I'll move into Dimitri's apartment, while also working on making this house ours. That way when we're ready to settle down and move into a house, this one is ready."

"That sounds like a splendid plan, kiz. Do you want me to get in contact with any interior designers?" I laughed and shook my head.

"We're fine, baba, promise. Did you want to tell us something or was it just good timing we were talking about our future?"

"Both," he said with a cheeky grin. "Breakfast is ready and considering the morning workout you guys had I assume you're both famish."

All I could was give a big, innocent smile as I got up and pulled Dimitri with me, who quickly rummaged around for the flannel pants he got from his car last night after I fell asleep.

Six months later…

"Roza, come on we have to get going," Dimitri shouted for the fifth time as I ran around the room making sure I had everything.

"I know! I know," I called back, grabbing my phone and handbag before running to the door of the apartment. We had just finished moving everything in and making it work and I was on a vacation from classes for Fourth of July, so Dimitri and I decided to go back to the cabin he took me to for Valentine's Day.

"Do you think this time we could check out the town while we're there?" I asked as he started driving.

"What? I didn't keep you entertained last time," he joked, making me blush. He did more than keep me entertain. Let's just say I'm surprised I'm not six months pregnant.

"You did," I replied, trying not to smile but struggling. "I just think since it's the summer it might be nice to walk around town and see what they have."

"So you want sex on the beach."

"No!" I said, earning me a raised eyebrow. "Ok maybe…but that's not it! I really want to find something to decorate the place with. You know something that can be the first thing we purchase together and so it's a reminder of our little heaven on Earth."

And it's true. I don't know how Dimitri found this place, but I'm glad he did. It was a cabin nestled in the middle of forest, but the town was only five or so minutes away with a beach on the other end. Since we went on Valentine's weekend, Dimitri's idea since "we'd been through enough shit to earn a weekend away from everyone," we didn't really leave the cabin much, if ever, and stayed toasty the whole weekend. I wasn't complaining, but now that it was summer I wanted to walk down the street and do some window shopping.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, intertwining his free hand with mine.

"Just how it's been six months since we've last been here."

"Mhmm you know it's been a year since we first met. You could almost think of this as our anniversary weekend getaway."

"It's our anniversary tomorrow isn't it!" I said as if I just realized it.

"Yes it is. And I have a wonderful evening planned."

"But I didn't bring anything dressy," I said, pouting.

"I have everything figured out. Don't worry about it," he said, bringing my hand up for a kiss before turning his attention back to the road.

I'm not going to lie and say the past six months have been as sweet and light as this car ride, but it hasn't been as painful and dramatic as the first six months of our relationship. Honestly, we did fight a bit, it was over minimal things, but sometimes it would get bigger than it was meant to and we'd end up going the whole day mad at the other. Half of the time it wasn't even over what we were fighting about, but because the other was to stubborn to say sorry. At the end of the night, though, we'd come back to bed and one or both of us would cave and beg for forgiveness until the early hours of the morning. Like the one time I did the laundry…

"Roza," I heard Dimitri say wearily as he opened the door to the apartment. I hadn't moved in yet, but I found myself spending more nights here than at my dad's place.

Yesterday I had gotten out of classes early so I came here and decided to do the laundry. Well I didn't know reds and whites should have been kept separate so I washed my new red jeans with Dimitri's favorite white v-neck shirt and it came out pink. He didn't notice it until this morning when he saw it stuffed away in the garbage bag. It didn't take a genius to figure out what happen, so when it clicked he blew a gasket. I got defensive and one thing led to another, I stormed out and didn't answer any of his text or calls. By the time I finished my shift at work, I wasn't sure if I should come back and apologize or stay stubborn and go to my dad's house and wait for him to cave in.

"In the room," I called back. It was stupid really. I should have known, and I shouldn't have kept it a secret. And I certainly shouldn't have called him a micromanaging control freak.

"Roza, I'm so sorry," he said as he rushed inside.

"No I'm sorry," I said as I hopped off the bed and met him halfway. I couldn't help but laugh. "I mean it makes sense you don't put colors with whites."

"I shouldn't have gotten so mad, it's just a shirt."

"Got a point there, Comrade," I joked, earning me a glare before he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his lips.

"What am I going to do with you?"

"I got an idea," I said, my eyes twinkling with lust. We quickly ended up in the bed, naked, showing each other just how sorry we were.

After everything, we've been through, everything else we fight about seems petty and pointless. It helps to have Rozo around because sometimes he's just the mediator we need. Plus, when all else fails, it's nice to have an excuse to go to Olena's and get reminded that no fight is worth it. Sure, sometimes we get the really big fights that end up with me staying at my dad's or him staying at Olena. Like when I was being super secretive and Dimitri thought I was cheating, but really I was hiding his birthday present. Yea, that was awkward and pissed me off at him for being so irrational. Not the best birthday ever.

All in all, I wouldn't give back these past six months for anything in the world. Apparently, Eddie wasn't talking out of his ass when he arrested Tasha, and she's currently serving a year sentence for falsifying documents. Adrian and Sydney eloped in Las Vegas in the beginning of June, right after her last final, and now were honeymooning in Europe. Lissa had finished beauty school, so she was just waiting for finish her business degree to open her shop. Mia had landed a big time apprenticeship in New York, so we barely saw her, but we were proud of her and still kept in contact.

"Roza?" Dimitri asked as he opened the car door. Looking around, I realized we'd made it the cabin.

"Oh sorry," I said as I took his hand and walked with him to the cabin. When I saw our bags already by the door I wondered how long I had been lost in thought.

"If you want we can walk to the town after putting everything away," he suggested as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"We can go tomorrow," I said as I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Right now I want to go to bed."

"Me too," he said before capturing my lips as he led me to the bedroom, where sleep was the last thing on our minds.

"So what's the plan for tonight?" I asked as we walked down street.

"You're just going to have to wait and see," he teased, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pulling me close. As we walked down the street I noticed he'd crack his knuckles every now and then, or try to. Then he'd run his hand down his jacket before nodding his head and going on like nothing happened.

"You ok?" I asked once we were close to the restaurant.

"Yea," he said quickly, almost nervously, before looking at me and giving me a smile. "I'm perfectly fine. Have I told you how beautiful you look?"

I look down, blushing, as I laugh. "Yes. You have. At least once every minute."

"Well you look goddessly, Roza."

"Is that even a word?" I joke. True to his word, Dimitri had planned everything accordingly. He even bought me a whole outfit for dinner. He bought a pink lattice side chiffon maxi dress that had spaghetti straps and cut outs at the side of my waist, a crisscross connecting the top to the bottom. The skirt came to mid-thigh, but the chiffon overlay went all the way to the floor. He also bought me a pair of beige leather sandals with diamond and ivory jewels decorating the strap going down my foot. I was speechless and fully plan on thanking him tonight.

"I have a reservation for Belikov," Dimitri said when we got inside. I saw something twinkle in the host's eyes as he recognized the name, but it quickly went away as he showed us to our table, which was in a nice secluded corner, a candle flickering in the middle .

"You're server will be right with you," said the host as he handed us our menus. We fell into a comfortable silence as we looked over the menu. Dimitri kept tapping his fingers against the table, constantly checking the time and looking around the restaurant.

"Here's the wine you ordered," the server said. When did we order wine? I wondered as he filled our glass halfway.

"When I made the reservation, I also ordered the bottle," Dimitri said, answering the question I was thinking. I nodded my head as I took a sip of the wine, my eyes glued to Dimitri's restless finger. After I put my glass down, I slid my hand across the table and interlocked my fingers with his, catching him by surprise.

"You sure you're ok, Comrade?"

"Yea, everything's great," he said quickly, taking a sip of his glass of wine. Clearly something was going on, but I didn't push it. He'd tell me when he was ready.

"So I can't decide between the truffle oil mac and cheese or the steak plate," I said, easing the mood.

"How about you get both and I'll get a salad and we can split it?"

"Mmm I like that idea," I said, closing the menu. "Sounds like a plan." He closed his menu too, giving me a warm smile as he called the waiter over. Once our orders were placed, everything turned light as we shared funny stories from work and I talked about my psychology class.

"Roza, where do you see us in 10 years?" he asked, gracefully taking my small hand in his. His eyes glistening with hope and love.

"Oh…um…honestly? Me working as a psychologist, I don't know what kind but I think I want to work close with the cops, and you having a couple dojo's up and running. We'd have one or two kids. I kinda want to have twins, a boy and a girl, or the boy first, that way he's always going to be there to protect his sister. Why? What do you see?"

"The same, more or less. But do you see us…married?"

"Well ye- oh wait we didn't order this," I said when the waiter placed a brownie a la mode in front of me.

"Um I'm sure it was part of the order," the server said before quickly leaving. I looked up at Dimitri, confused if he had anything to do with this. He just shrugged his shoulder, keeping his face impassive. I would have believed him but I saw the twinkle in his eyes. He had something up his sleeve.

"You were saying…"

"Oh right! Yea I do…wait is that a diamond in the middle of my brownie?" I saw the light catching on my plate, and when I looked at it I saw the jewel in the middle just popping its head out.

"It's a fancy restaurant, Roza. Maybe they like decorating their deserts. You should hurry up and eat it before the brownie gets cold and the ice cream melts."

"You're right. Do want any?" I offered, giving him one of the spoons. He accepted and took a small piece with ice cream. Shaking my head, I ate my spoonful before getting a good size piece with a scoop and holding it up to Dimitri. "Open up."

Smiling, he opened his mouth and took the spoonful. He grabbed an equal amount and fed it to me. We ended up feeding each other, until my spoon scrapped against something.

"What the hell?" I wondered as I dug out what was inside my brownie. Why was there a metal band in the middle of my brownie? Before I could ask, Dimitri swiped it and cleaned it off with his smile. "Dimitri's what's going on?"

"You said you didn't want to get married until you graduated college," he began to say as he finished cleaning the band. "Well your only requirement for getting engaged was having been together for a year. Which we have as of today. So, I want to ask you something." He put the napkin down and got down on one knee, holding up the band, which actually was an engagement ring. Putting two and two together, I realized the diamond in my brownie was the ring. Grabbing my left hand, he continued. "Roza, I knew there was something about you the minute you bumped into me. Now, a year later, I know that you're the woman who I want to spend the rest of my life with. Who I want to carry my children. Who I want to grow old with. I know this past year has been tough, but the fact that we got through it together shows just how strong our love is. So, Rosemarie Hathaway, will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

To be continued...

A/N: Now that wasn't a very nice way to end the story...or the perfect way to end. I wonder what Rose's answer will be...guess we'll just have to see in the sequel...

Leave me a final review with you favorite part of the chapter...of the story...and any possible ideas you have to for titles. Or PM ideas to me. I promise I'll start working on the sequel within in the next month! And hopefully will post the story when I finish school.

Again, thanks for reading my story and I hope you like what I have planned for the next part of Rose and Dimitri's story :)
