Chapter 2

Normal POV

"What?" the three girls yelled at Nali.

"Let me explain. Amu, Utau and Ruma hat it when people bully others just like we do! That's why never did anything to you. Utau and Rima noticed how angry I was for what happened to you in the classroom. They invited me to hang out at Rima's mansion so I asked if I could bring a friend along and now we're here."

"So, would you want to be friends with us?"

Amu froze in shock. She never expected there would be people in the school who would want to be friends with her, especially people belonging to the PBP.

"You're serious?" she asked them.

Utau smiled. "Of course we are!"

Amu got a little teary and nodded. Utau and Rima laughed and tackled her into a hug.

Rima broke the hug first and looked out the window.

"Oh, we're here." Amu looked out the window and saw Rima's mansion. She wasn't too surprised to see the size of the mansion since Nali was also rich and had a mansion.

"Hey, your mansion is almost as big as Nali's."

Rima turned to face Nali. "You have a mansion too?" Nali nodded and said, "Maybe one of these days I'll invite you guys over."

The girls walked inside heading towards Rima's room. "We could go swimming. I have a lot of bathing suits in my closet."

As the three girls made their way to Rima's room, Nali suddenly turned around to look at Amu.

"Don't think I forgot. You have some explaining to do."

Amu POV

Well, shit. I really thought she forgot.

"What are you talking about?" I looked at Rima and Utau. We walked into Rima's room.

Can I really trust them? I felt someone nudge me on the arm. Nali nodded at me.

I gave out a sigh. I let Nali talk.

"Since we're all friends, I think it's a good idea to tell you everything. Well you see, when we were younger, we used to be best friends with Ikuto and Noru."

"Woah, woah, woah, hold up. You're telling us that you knew them since a while ago." Rima was trying to clarify what Nali had just said.

I nodded.

"But that doesn't make sense. Why do they treat you so badly? Don't they recognize you? Don't they recognize Nali?" Utau directed her questions at me.

"Can I explain everything to you guys at the pool?" I asked and they nodded.

~Pool~

Everyone was in the pool except for me. We all wore a 2-piece bathing suit, but Iput my baggy clothes over it. I really don't want them to look at all my injuries and scars. Nali has seen my injuries and scars, but Utau and Rima haven't.

Will they be disgusted with me? With the marks on my body?

Nali swam towards me. "Take off those baggy clothes. It doesn't matter if they see, we can explain what happened."

I really don't want to, but she's right. They seem really nice and they're the first friends I've made at school.

I stood up from one of the poolside seats and took off my clothes and hat and jumped in the pool.

I rose to the top of the water and heard Utau and Rima gasp.

"Amu you are so pretty!" Utau exclaimed. She gasped at my looks, but looking at Rima I knew she gasped because of another reason. She swam towards me and grabbed my arm where I had just one of a few fresh bruises.

"What happened to you?" I detected the sadness in her voice.

"Amu has been basically living in hell her whole life. Her parents are so abusive and she uses those big, baggy clothes to hide all her injuries. Plus, those are the only pieces of clothing her parents give her to wear. What I didn't know, and wish she would have told me is that she is getting bullied at school and is getting hurt there too," Nali explained to them. Utau and Rima came and gave me a hug.

Utau POV

Her pink hair reaches midway down her back and she has the brightest golden eyes I have ever seen. She looks absolutely breathtaking. Amu could be a model with all those curves and looks, but the injuries on her body made my heart sink. How could she be living a hell at home and then the PBP making it a hell at school.

I break from the hug and look at Amu and Nali.

"Can you tell us what's up between Ikuto and Noru and the both of you?"

"They save us from these big 9-year olds when we were 8..." Amu began to explain.

Normal POV

***Flashback***

"Let go of me!" Nali yelled as she was being held by a boy named Toku. She kicked and screamed, but couldn't escape from Toku's strong grip. Nali looked over at Amu to see Toku's friend, Kai, throw rocks at Amu.

Nali became furious and she began to struggle even more to get out of his grip so she could strangle them. She was suddenly pulled away from Toku's grip. Nali saw him on the ground with a bloody nose. A bot with purple hair and eyes stood over Toku daring him to lay another finger on her. Toku stood up and ran away.

The boy with purple hair and eyes turned to Nali. "Are you okay?" Nali nodded. The boy took her hand and led her to where Amu was with a boy who looked strangely alike to the boy with purple hair and eyes, except the other boy had midnight blue hair and eyes.

Nali ran to Amu and gave her a hug.

"I'm so sorry Amu. I'm so, so, so sorry. That idiot Toku had a strong hold on me and I couldn't get away."

"Nali, it's okay. This boy helped me."

Nali turned to both of the boys. "Thank you so much. I'm Nalika, but people call me Nali. This is Amu, my best friend in the whole world."

The boy with purple hair and eyes spoke. "No problem. Those guys needed a good beating. I'm Noru and this guy right here is my younger twin brother Ikuto."

It didn't take to long before the 4 of them chatted and became good friends. Amu told them about her situation. There were a number of times the girls had to stop them from running into Amu's house and hurting Hiro and Manina.

It also didn't take long before Noru and Ikuto developed feelings for Nali and Amu, but they never said anything and didn't know that the girls had also developed feelings for them.

~3 years later~

Amu and Nali ran to the park to see Ikuto and Noru. They had something very important to tell them. Amu and Nali were now 11 and Ikuto and Noru were 12.

They made it to the park and their way to the Sakura tree where they always met up with the boys.

Ikuto and Noru were sitting under the tree waiting for the girls. They looked and stood up once they saw the girls running towards them.

The boys smiled at them.

"Let's lie down and look at the clouds." Ikuto told them.

The four went to the large grassy hill right next to the tree and looked at the sky.

Noru cleared his throat.

"We have something to tell you."

Amu and Nali sat up and looked at them waiting for them to continue.

"We called you here because this is the last time we'll see each other. Our family is moving to America for a few years and we don't know when we'll be coming back."

Amu and Nali started to cry. The boys couldn't really do anything except give them a hug.

"We love you and we promise to come back when we're older, when we have job, when we can give you a happy life. We promise to never bully, to never hurt anyone. We're so sorry. This is goodbye...Our family is waiting at home to leave." The boys stood up and walked away.

The girls sat there in shock. Ikuto and Noru were almost out of the park when they came to their senses.

"Wait! Please don't go!" Amu and Nali yelled out, but they didn't turn around.

***Flashback End***

Amu and Nali started to cry recalling the painful memory.

"I don't get it. They said they loved you, but they're with those sluts. What happened to them? Did they actually forget about you guys?" Rima said.

Nali sniffled a little and wiped the remaining tears from her face.

"This is when you have to explain everything to me Amu. Why didn't you tell me they came back?"

Amu just stared at them.

She sighed.

"Well..."

Nani: Another chapter finished

Iktuo: Why did you end it?

Nani: Wait until next time

Ikuto: I don't want to wait!

Amu: Quit acting like that Ikuto
