A/N: Again, I have done research on Turkey, but some stuff is false for the sake of the story (mostly time and weather).
"Rise and shine!" Sydney shouted as she pulled back the curtains in my room. Groaning, I turned around and dug my head under my pillow.
"Five more minutes," I whined as I kept a death grip on my blankets when she tried pulling them off.
"Rose I already gave you thirty. Everyone's up and breakfast is ready."
"Breakfast?" I said, popping my head up. "Why didn't you say that to start with!" Jumping out of bed, I slid into my slippers and dashed downstairs to find pancakes, eggs, and bacon already made and cooked. Everything looked so good that I quickly piled my plate and joined everyone at the table. Looking up I saw everyone was dressed and ready…except for one.
"What are you looking at?" Vika snapped as she took a bite of pancake, making me laugh.
"Nothing," I said, shrugging. "Just good to know I'm not the only one who likes her sleep."
"Hush," she said, making me laugh even more. "If you don't like morning so much why are you so full of life?"
"Because I have bacon," I said happily as I took a bite. She just shook her head with a smile, her mood already getting better. After we finished eating, I took a quick shower got ready before joining everyone downstairs.
"So how do you plan on getting us there?" I asked Sydney as I put my coat on. She barely lifts an eyebrow before there's a knock on our door. When no one got up, I turned around and went to answer it. "Ben?"
"Uh yea. Here," he said, thrusting his hand out, keys dangling off his finger. Giving him most confused look, I waited until he gave an explanation. "Uh Sydney called us asking if we could bring a rental car, so we did and got one ourselves. So here are the keys."
"Ok," I said slowly. He nodded his head before turning around and walking off. That was weird, but I didn't think much of it since soon everyone started walking out.
A three hour drive later, we're pulled up to a stone walled structure in the middle of no where. The front was straight, looking like an ancient version of the Birmingham Palace, but from the drive you could see the rest was a half circle, even though it was hard to see what was inside.
"So what is this place?" I asked as we walked in with the large crowd, my eyes flickering to the simple flag of Turkey.
"The Aspendos Theatre," Sydney said as we passed into a colosseum style arena.
"It looks like something from Rome."
"That's the point," Sydney said dryle. "It was built during the rule of a Roman Emperor. It's still survives without losing any of its original qualities is because it was constantly repaired and maintained for a period of time."
"Wow," Viktoria said looking around. It was really simple, like most colosseums, but something about it was beautiful. I think it was the Roman part of it that made it intriguing.
"Last one to the top buys us drinks!" I shouted before running up the stairs. It took the girls a while, but soon after I heard them laughing as they followed me.
"Not fair, Rose! I can't run!" Sydney shouted, making all of us laugh harder. "That's not fa-"
I pressed my fingers to her lips as she got to the top. The scenery behind the arena was so beautiful, she just needed to shut up and see it. You could see this wall, this ruined wall with a tall section where the two sides meet, and with the sun at the angle it was, it cast a beautiful shadow. Off to another side was a gorgeous ruin of…
"That's the Aspendos Basillica," Sydney whispered, her eyes taking everything in. To the side I heard the rapid clicks of a camera and saw Jill taking pictures of everything.
"Wow you're amazing behind the camera too," I said, smiling at her. Like expected, Jill looked down, blushing and muttering something about not being amazing. "Jill stop selling yourself short. You're amazing, beautiful, smart, and talented." Everyone nodded their heads.
"Thanks," she said shyly. "So what else is there to see here, Syd?"
We spent the next hour walking around and taking pictures before deciding to go grab lunch on the way to the next place. It didn't take long to grab lunch and then get to the Basilica Cistern. It was like a hidden gem. While it can look plain, the history behind it was fascinating. According to Syd, it was built in the byzantine times and was used to store water. Walking around, we climbed onto the raised platforms and had a beautiful view of the waters. My favorite part was Medusa statue, that had a different face on each side. My least favorite part was the walking. The walking killed me. I was so glad when we got back to the room, that I went straight to my bed.
"Wait, Rose, we have dinner to go to remember?" Jill reminded me as I went up the stairs.
"Shit," I muttered before pulling my phone and dialing Drew.
"I was wondering when I'd hear from you."
"Yea, busy day. Hey what if you and the guys come to our room and we can order room service?"
"You're feet hurt?" he asked like it was the most obvious thing.
"They're killing me! So it wouldn't be problem, would it?" Before he could answer, there was a knock on the door. Curiosity got the best of me and I went and opened the door.
"Not a problem," Drew said, flashing me a full smile as he ended the call. "Before you ask, we were actually on our way to pick you girls up, and your call came at the right time. I got Benji over here calling room service so it should be here soon."
"Benji? Is that your nickname for Ben?" He nodded his head, pointing at the slender boy behind him talking into this phone. "Well then come on in," I said, hugging all the guys as they came in, except for Ben who gave me a turt nod as he kept ordering. Dinner was nice and calm, we got to know Drew and his friends a bit more, but as soon as I finished my food, I excused myself to go take a bath and make an important phone call.
DPOV
"Dimka, dinner's ready!" Mama called from the stairs.
"Not hungry," I shouted back, my eyes not moving from my bedroom ceiling.
"Dimka, you should really eat something," she said as she walked into my room.
"I'm not hungry."
"Are you going to be like this all break? By the time Roza gets back you'll look like the grim reaper!" I was about to say something, but she kept going. "Son, you can't not enjoy your break because she's away. You know there's a saying…distances make the heart grow fonder."
"I know, Mama. I'm just not hungry right now. I'll be down soon. Promise." From the look she gave, I could tell she didn't believe me, but she didn't say anything because my phone started ringing. Seeing who it was, she gave me a smile and walked out.
"Hello," I said, trying not to sound excited.
"Miss me?" Roza said from the other line, her voice low, relaxed, and slightly husky.
"So much," I confessed. "How was your day?"
"Exhausing," she said, sighing. "I mean it was fun and we went to beautiful places, but it was just long and dinner made it longer." I didn't say anything, just listened to her talk about the two places they went to and what they did. It felt good to hear her voice, that soft tone that told me she was relaxing some way. I'm glad she's having such a fun time with her friends but I still missed her. We haven't talked since her train left, and we only texted on the train, but I couldn't her voice through a message. Not this was better, her voice was better. "Babe, I'm sorry I didn't call yesterday. I was so exhausted that after we got to the room I passed out."
"That's fine. I actually went to bed early."
"Oh. So what did you do today?"
"Nothing. Just spent some time with Paul."
"Uh huh. And I met Max Irons today. Comrade, it's winter break! Go do something fun and crazy. I mean there's gotta be snow somewhere! Go skiing or snowboarding with the guys! Or actually spend time with your nephew and build a snowman."
"I'm going shopping with the guys tomorrow for Christmas and New Year's Eve."
"I guess that's a start," she said, neither of us saying anything as I listened to the slow rhythmic sound of her breathing. "So what are you doing right now?"
"Laying in bed, missing my Roza," I said, sighing for dramatic effects. Her laughter was so contagious that it had me chuckling too. "What about you?"
"Oh nothing. I'm laying down too. Just in a hot bathtub…naked," she purred, her voice dropping to a husky whisper. Groaning, I shifted in my bed as I felt my body react.
"Teasing isn't nice, Roza," I respond gruffly.
"What are you going to do about it, Comrade?" she teased, turning me on even more.
"Careful, don't want to start something you know you can't finish," I warned.
"And who said I can't finish? I haven't had sex in about three days, and I won't be having it for 3 weeks. Do you understand how badly I want you? All of you? Your lips. Your touch. Your big, throbbing-"
"Zoya!" I said, bolting up and cutting Roza up. I heard her grumble something, followed by water sloshing as she get out I assumed. "Wait wait where are you going?"
"To get ready for bed. I'm assuming Zoya's not there to say good night."
"Can you wait a few minutes then?" She agreed and I focused on Zoya. "What's wrong, Zoya?"
"There's a monster in my closet!" she said, running into my arms. "Can you get rid of him? Please Uncle Dimka?" I heard Roza chucking from the phone as I got up and followed my little niece to her room. After chasing the monster, I fell onto my bed and put the phone back to my ear.
"So where were we?" I breathed into the phone. I don't hear anything for a while. "Roza? Rooooza? Rose?" Silence. And then, ever so faintly, I hear her gently snoring. A smile crept on my face. She must have really been tired, but she still made time to call him. Remembering I had to go out tomorrow, I ended the call and went to bed.
"OH YEAH! WAKE UP YEAH!" Startled, I jumped up in bed when someone started shouting in my room. Slightly disoriented, I blearily looked around and didn't find anyone, so I got under my blankets again and tried go to sleep.
"OH YEAH! WAKE UP YEAH!" shouted through my room again. Growling, I sat up, rubbing the sleep away, and tried to see where the noise was coming from. When I didn't hear anything, I was about to try and go back to sleep but I heard some shuffling at the foot of my bed. Crawling, I looked over and saw Christian squatted down, looking up with wide eyes.
"Morning, D," he said before breaking into a big smile. I glared at him, letting him know how much I hate him for waking me up, which made him start to laugh.
"What are you doing here?" I growled as I got out of bed and stumbled to my bathroom.
"Do you not remember what today is?"
"Ummm your birthday?"
"Seriously man? How about the day you hang out with your friends?" Oh shit that's right! Turning around, I went to go pick out my clothes.
"I'll be right down," I said as I walked back to the bathroom. After taking a quick shower and putting on some jeans and a t-shirt, I slipped on my shoes, grabbed my wallet and went downstairs.
"About time his Highness came down," Adrian said as I joined everyone in the living room.
"Ha ha, Ivaskov. Who's car are we taking?"
"We can take mine," Eddie offered. "It'll fit all of us and my trunk should fit what we buy."
"Great! Let's get going then," Andre said as he got up from the couch. We all followed him out to Eddie's car, a simple, black 2009 Chevy Impala. It wasn't flashy like Adrian's car or new like my truck, but it had a certain elegance to it and I could tell Eddie loved it. Plus, it got the job done. We all piled in and headed off to the mall. When we got there, we decided to buy our outfits first.
"Full on suits or relaxed suits?" Andre asked as we skimmed through the Men's Warehouse.
"I think for Christmas Eve we could get away with khakis or black slacks and a nice polo. And then New Year's we can do button down and tie," Adrian suggested.
"Wouldn't it make sense to wear a more laid back outfit for New Year's Eve?" Christian asked, holding up a tie and comparing it to his eyes.
"No. If we wear khaki's on Christmas, then we can wear a nice sweater with it, and have it be very Christmas style," I said as I picked up a tie that reminded me of the dress Rose wore the first time she came over for dinner. "Plus, our fathers - at least my father - will be in a suit and I don't want to be dressed like him."
I saw Adrian flinch as he realized the same thing about his dad. It didn't take us long to find our outfits, a benefit of being a guy I guess. We were heading to the food court, when something caught my eye.
"Hey guys, can I'll meet up with you in a bit," I said as I entered the store.
"Uh dude what are you doing? That's a jewelry store," Christian said, following me inside.
"Yea, just doing some Christmas shopping."
"Aw shit! I need to get Sydney something," Adrian said coming in and looking around. I already found what I wanted, so I was calmly paying for it.
"None of you guys did your Christmas shopping?" I asked, all of them shaking their head. I couldn't help but laugh. "Don't worry neither have I. Should we eat first or go check a few stores?" No one said anything before Andre's stomach growled, all of us chuckling as we left for the food court. Afterwards, we went shopping for our girlfriends, going to places a man should never step foot into.
"What happened today stays between us, got it?" I said as we walked back to the cars.
"No one is to know today ever happened," Adrian added in, quickly stashing his bags into Eddie's trunk.
"If they asked, we got someone to do the buying," Andre added.
"I think they'll be too busy thinking we're awesome to question where we got it," Christian smirked as he got into the car.
"Thanks for jinxing it, Chris," Eddie muttered as he started the car and pulled out. It didn't take long to get back to my house, and get all our bags put into our cars, or in my case running up and putting it in my room.
"So call it a day?" Andre asked as we all stood in the doorway.
"Nah, you guys want to watch a movie or see if there's some game on? Or we can play on my PlayStation…or Xbox…or Wiii…We can order pizza," I suggested. I know I've been holed up in my room for a few days, but it felt nice to just be with the guys, took my mind off things. When no one said anything, I led them to the home theater/game room across from my room.
"PlayStation," Christian shouted, running to TV and plugging it in and picking a game, probably one of the Call of Duty games I have. Adrian and Andre were quick to follow him, getting their own controls.
"So pizza?" Eddie asked, swaying on his feet awkwardly.
"You know you can join them if you want," I said, pulling my phone to make the order. After ordering three pizzas, I joined my friends and got lost in the CoD world, my mind solely focused on winning. It was well into the night when my phone started buzzing on the coffee table. I was contemplating answering it or not when I saw the world's most exotic beauty flash across my screen.
"Hello," I said, a smile on my face as I walked away from the shouts and hollers.
"Hey," Roza said, chuckling. "Are those the guys shouting?"
"Yea," I said, laughing with her.
"Well too bad. Guess you can't get away can you?" Hearing the underlying message in her tone, I looked at the door to my room then down the guys focused on the TV screen, wondering if I could slip away for a few minutes or if maybe I should kick them out. Biting my lips, I realize I'm not ready to end tonight just yet. If I end it, then when I get off the phone with Roza, I'll just spend hours looking up at my ceiling.
"No, Roza, I can't. God knows what Christian will do if I turn my back for even a second."
"That's true," she said, laughing at the thought. "So what did you guys do today?"
"Oh nothing. Did some shopping for Christmas and New Year's. How about you, milaya?"
"Shopping? Like Christmas shopping?" she asked, clearing taking more interest in my day.
"Mmm I guess. I just got something for my mama," I said nonchalantly, smiling at myself when she fell for it, asking if that was all I did. "I got something for Paul and Zoya too, and the baby on the way. How about you? Did you do any shopping?"
"Oh," she said in a deflated tone. "No. We're not shopping until week after next. We went to Bodrum Castle and Troy today. It was pretty cool. A lot of walking. I mean a lot! My feet were killing me! And I drank so much water I was constantly going to the bathroom. It's weird."
"Not really. Sure you run everyday, but walking long lengths for an extensive period of time isn't something your body's used to."
"But all the peeing? That's just not normal."
"You drinking a lot of water isn't normal either," I countered, imagining her lips slightly pouting as she mulled it over, inevitable seeing I make sense.
"I guess you're right. Too bad I can't give you a reward," she said slyly, making my pants feel a little tight. I was about to say something, when she yawned, so instead I said good night and went back to the living room.
"How's Rose?" Eddie asked, his eyes glued to the screen.
"Good. Tired. I'm guessing Sydney's giving a run for their money with the tourism."
"Sounds like her," Adrian said, chuckling. "And it didn't even take her that long to figure out where to go. Took her longer to plan it out, and that only took a few hours."
"YES! VICTORY IS MINE!" Christian shouted, causing us to look. He was doing a happy dance while Andre hung his head in shame.
"So now what?" Andre asked as he put his controller away.
"I think Belikov wants his house back," Adrian teased.
"You're such a comedian, Adrian. Actually, do you guys want to do something next week?"
"How about paint ball? I heard they opened a field downtown," Eddie suggested as he put his stuff away.
"Paintball sounds cool. I'm in," Christian said, Andre, Adrian and I agreeing. We set up a time to meet and soon after they left. When I got to my room, I wanted to call Roza again, but remembering she was probably asleep, I decided to call it a night too.
A/N: Awww Romitri cockblocked twice! Tbh I would have put in phone sex, but I was helping my friend with hers, and it's really hard! So I'll make it up later :)
Anyone like Rose and Jill moment? I think with Rose and Jill traveling and modelling together it'll take that sibling relationship touched upon in the book to a whole new level, don't you think :)
Also, sorry if I'm making Dimitri sappy as hell, I want to show how much he misses Rose but I'm not sure if I'm overdoing it.
Leave me a review, and tell me what you think :)
See you on Sunday!
