Korriban, part 2
When he reported back to his master, Kakashi was exasperated, he fell back into his chair, and pinched the bridge of his nose, "This is not good news," he said, "Three acolytes turn up in the tomb of Marka Ragnos sent by Lord Saber to kill you. The abomination's former apprentice is dead, the Dark Council is going to have a field day with this."
"Master," Sasuke said, "Might I remind you we still have the element of surprise."
"What are you talking about?" Lord Kakashi asked.
"Lord Saber doesn't know that we know," Sasuke said, "Just report our findings to someone you trust in the Dark Council, meanwhile I'll continue with my trials."
"Good," Kakashi said as he pointed at Sasuke, "Very good."
"What is my next trial master?" Sasuke asked.
"Every Sith must become familiar with ancient Sith lore," Kakashi said, "In the Tomb of Ajunta Pall there is a tome of knowledge that the Sith lords of old made after his death," Kakashi tossed Sasuke a scanner, "Take this into the tomb, scan the damn thing, and get out."
"Yes master." Sasuke said.
Sasuke turned, and left the temple with his head high.
Arriving at the entrance to the tomb of Ajunta Pall, he sensed a dark presence inside, it could have just been the dark spirits inside, keeping his composure, he inhaled deeply, and entered the tomb.
He could feel the power of the dark side around him, but he also felt a dark presence, and a bunch of little presences, but the thing he sensed the most was something big, really big, not a human nor a droid, a beast, something worth killing.
Moving through the temple, Sasuke soon found himself in a room full of Acolytes driven mad by the dark presence.
As one of them turned to face him, Sasuke drew his war-blade, and swung it around in his hand before cutting the one that turned around down with one swing, the blade swinging around in his hand.
Two other deranged acolytes heard the blow land, drew their training-blade, and turned to face Sasuke who blocked the first acolyte's swing, deflected the other one, and then stole the first acolyte's training saber as he swung it, and sheathed it through the second acolyte's chest, then came back around, and took the first acolyte's head clean off.
A third, forth, and fifth came at Sasuke, a quick slash to the gut took down the third, the forth came in with a low slash, Sasuke jumped over the blade, bunted the man on the side of the head of the skull with the pommel of his war-blade, he then grabbed the stunned man, and pushed him in the way of the fifth acolyte's blade.
As the forth was skewered on the fifth's blade, Sasuke flipped his war-blade around as he was walking on, and stabbed the acolyte in the back.
After removing his blade the final two came at Sasuke with electro-staffs, Sasuke deflected the first blow from the sixth acolyte, pushed the acolyte's electro-staff into the way of the other acolyte's staff.
As the sixth acolyte's staff snapped in two, Sasuke back-handed the seventh acolyte, sending him to the ground, and as the sixth came after him, Sasuke moved out of the way, and in one swing, cut the acolyte in two from the waist.
Sasuke discharged his blade, and holstered the weapon.
As he entered the lower-level of the tomb, the dark presence was getting stronger.
When he entered, he knew what that dark presence was… a monster.
The dark presence was probably once a Pureblood Sith, but not anymore: half the skin on his face was filleted off, revealing the skeleton, where his left arm should be was a collection of dark-side force energy molded into a medium-built arm, and there were bodies of dead Acolytes lying around the creature, their dried blood stained his teeth.
"Another one," the creature said as he walked over to Sasuke, "Why don't you do us a favor, and turn around now before I kill you."
"You mean before I kill you," Sasuke said, "Now step aside."
The creature planted his foot into the dirt in front of Sasuke, "I am the guardian of the tome of Ajunta Pall," the creature exclaimed, "No one shall touch it when I stand."
"Then you shall not stand anymore," Sasuke said as he drew his war-blade.
The creature growled with a sound that sounded like a bantha's groan mixed with a Shi'rak's scream, Sasuke stepped forward, and roared like a lion, his pride of being a Cathar coming through powerfully.
As the creature stepped forward, Sasuke blocked the incoming swing, and came back with an over-hand chop which was countered with a block and a foot to the chest, sending Sasuke flying backwards.
Sasuke landed against the wall, and jolted to the side, narrowly missing being decapitated by the creature.
When the creature turned, he saw a metal-plated boot right before it got him across the face.
The creature recovered, and reached up to his forehead, which was lightly bleeding.
He then looked at Sasuke, and spoke, "What are you?"
"I'm the one that sees you for who you are, and not who you pretend to be," Sasuke said as he gathered a handful of force, "REPULSIVE BEAST," he then unleashed the handful of force at the creature, and sent him against the wall with such force the wall cracked where he landed.
The creature tried to push himself off the wall, but before he could, a large bolder came flying at him.
He had time to stop the bolder an inch from him, and send it back.
Sasuke caught it with the force, swung it around, and sent it back.
The creature just held up his arms, but it wasn't enough, and the bolder crushed him.
As the creature fell to the ground, dying Sasuke looked down at him, "You were once a Pureblood Sith, and you turned your back on the order for what?" Sasuke asked.
"I was trying to find an artifact," the creature said, "An ancient saber crystal, used by Ajunta Pall's rival. A black crystal…"
"With a white glow," Sasuke asked.
"A blue glow." The creature said.
"What," Sasuke asked, "That kind of crystal is legendary," Sasuke seized the creature by the collar of his coat, "Did you find it?"
"It's somewhere in here," the creature said, his voice getting weaker, "But I don't know where… My master… Darth Saber… he sent me here," the creature reached into his bag, and pulled out an intricately-carved saber-grip with a cortosis hand-guard, "Take this, find the crystal, and run the dark blade through his metal-plated and patched heart," Sasuke took the saber-hilt from the creature's hand, and as he took it, the creature died.
Sasuke looked up, he knew something was here, he could sense something of ancient power, and he knew it would serve him well if he found it.
Walking deeper into the tomb, he noticed something, someone had been in there before him, he focused, and he figured out who… his old master.
But she was followed, and just like in the tomb of Marka Ragnos, the stalker was either heavily muscled or heavily built.
When he entered the main courtroom, and he found that the tome Lord Hatake wanted was the same thing the ancient power was coming from.
After scanning the tome, he noticed several things about the room he was in, all the symbols were written in the ancient language of Korriban, except for several letters around the room which were carved in galactic standard, but it didn't spell AJUNTA PALL, it spelled out something else Sasuke couldn't determine, but when he focused, he realized that Lord Mascaraed had been there, and that her hand-prints varied in the number of times she pressed it.
She had left him a message, and after pressing on the letters, he realized that the letters spelled Indra Ōtsutsuki, and somehow that name meant something to him, but he didn't recognize it.
After pressing the final letter, the tome shook which shook the temple, and the tome moved.
Reaching out with the force, Sasuke grabbed the tome, and moved it to one side, and there was a small hole in the wall which contained a vein of small crystals that had a black interior, but the exterior was clear blue.
"Gorgeous," Sasuke said as he carefully removed three chunks from the crystal, but before moving the tome back into place he saw his master hid another piece of her holocron, after taking it, he moved the tome back into place, making sure to hide what his master had done.
It was apparent his master's stalker didn't get behind the tome because his presence was nowhere near the crystal, the tome, or the letters.
When he returned to Lord Hatake's office, there was a female Zabrak Sith Lord who was talking to Kakashi.
The Zabrak had a red skin-tone, ten horns polished and sharpened to a fine point, black tattoos all over her face, and long-flowing blonde hair which was tied up in a pony-tail.
"Ah, Sasuke," Kakashi said as he looked over the woman's shoulder to see his acolyte, "Please, come in."
Sasuke entered Kakashi's office, Kakashi got off his desk, and walked over to Sasuke, "Tell me Sasuke," Kakashi said as he walked over to him, "Did you get it?"
"Yes," Sasuke said as he handed Kakashi the data-pad, "I believe you'll find it enlightening."
"I will," Kakashi said as he then turned his attention to the Zabrak woman, "Sasuke, this is Darth Tsunade, right-hand to the Dark Lord of the Sith himself."
"The Emperor," Sasuke said before bowing to Tsunade, "Tis an honor M'lord."
"Rise," Tsunade said, "You did well in finding the evidence to convict Darth Saber. Right now the Emperor himself is forming a plan to have him killed."
As Tsunade turned and left, Sasuke stopped her as she was walking out the door, "Lady Tsunade," Sasuke said as he turned around, reached into his pouch, and pulled out one of the two crystals, "Would you be so kind as to give this to the emperor as a gesture of good faith from the Uchiha family to the Empire."
"Sure," Tsunade said as she caught the crystal in flight, "What is it?"
"It's a special crystal," Sasuke said, "Black…"
"With a white glow?" Tsunade asked.
"A blue glow," Sasuke said, "I think he'll like it."
"This will be an amazing gift," Tsunade said, "He'll want to accept this."
As Tsunade disappeared from sight, Sasuke turned to Kakashi, "You have done well young Acolyte," Lord Hatake said, "I fell you are ready."
"Ready for what?" Sasuke asked.
"Ready to leave this planet," Kakashi said, "But first, I can't send you back to Droman Kaas with only a training blade. In the lower levels of the tomb of Tulak Hord, there is an ancient forge said to have been used to create the first lightsaber. In order to get there, you're going to need some help."
"The Twi'lek in the cells?" Sasuke asked.
"Yes," Kakashi said, "What. Did I sense something when I heard you knew you were going to be working with her?"
"Yes master," Sasuke said, "Since I am three-fourths Cathar I've always been fascinated by other alien species, but I've always had a thing for Twi'leks, especially the pink ones."
"Then head downstairs," Kakashi said, "The prison-master is waiting to turn over the keys to her slave-collar."
Sasuke bowed to Kakashi, turned, and left.
Arriving in the prison, Sasuke saw the prison-master standing over the Twi'lek who was strapped to in interrogation table, and was about to mercilessly assault her before Sasuke grabbed his wrist.
"M'lord," the prison-master said as Sasuke bent his arm back, "What are you doing?"
"There is no honor in what you're doing," Sasuke said as he swiftly twisted the prison-master's arm backwards, "Give me the key."
The prison-master fished around in his pocket, then pulled out the key, and upon handing it to Sasuke, Sasuke sent the man flying across the room.
"Thanks for that," Sakura said as Sasuke undid the restraints on her arms with a wave of his hand.
"No problem," Sasuke said as he held out his hand, "The name's Sasuke, I need your help with something."
"What?" Sakura asked as she shook Sasuke's hand.
"You were in the tomb of Tulak Hord were you not?" Sasuke asked.
"I was," Sakura said as Sasuke freed her from the leg-restrains with another wave of his hand.
"Then I need you to lead me to the ancient forge on the lower levels." Sasuke said.
"You want me to help you," Sakura asked as Sasuke helped her of the table, "Why?"
"Because if not for me, that man would have done unspeakable things," Sasuke said as he pointed at the prison-master who was lying in the middle of the wreckage of the destroyed cage.
"You got me there," Sakura said as she walked over to the locker containing her stuff, and retrieved her folding blaster rifle.
"Nice weapon," Sasuke said, "Know how to use it?"
"I guess we're going to figure out," Sakura said, "I know the way into the lower levels of the tomb."
"Before you go," the prison-master said as he freed himself from the rubble, "We've captured a Jedi Knight in the same tomb you're going into. When he returns to his Jedi Masters we don't want him reporting what we know to his masters, so we've made a specialty serum to mess with his memories. Do you think you can talk to him?"
"Sure," Sasuke said as he walked toward the cells, and saw a male Mirialan Jedi with a corn-rows hairstyle, and very intricate diamond-pattern detail that ran from his temples, over his eyebrows, down his nose, and ended at his neck.
"There is no passion, there is serenity," the Jedi said, his head bowed, his eyes closed, "There is no chaos, there his harmony. The Jedi Code shall guide me," the Jedi then noticed Sasuke, "Who are you?"
"I'll tell you later," Sasuke said, "But what I can tell you is that from this moment on until you're free to go, I'm your best friend."
"You're going to help me," The Jedi asked, "A Sith with a conscience? Kriff, why am I so scrambled?"
"The Sith did this to you," Sasuke said, "They filled you with drugs so you can't think straight."
"I knew they did this to me," The Jedi said before holding his hands together, "There is no emotion, there is peace."
"The Jedi Code?" Sasuke asked.
"Yes," The Jedi said, "Forgive me, I am confused."
"I want to help you," Sasuke said, "What they did to you is wrong."
"I can't leave without my things," The Jedi said, "I need my lightsaber, my datapad, and my com-link. But why are you helping me?"
Sasuke signaled the Jedi to move closer, "I'll tell you tonight," he said, "When I help you escape."
"Ok," the Jedi said, "I'll wait here."
Sasuke and Sakura left, "You're seriously planning on letting him go?" Sakura asked.
"We'll talk about it later," Sasuke said as the two walked out the door toward the exit.
Entering the valley of the Sith, Sakura squinted because she hadn't seen the sun in a while, but once she was out, she allowed her pink skin to soak it up.
The two then walked from the entrance to the temple to the tomb of Tulak Hord, upon entering, Sasuke knew that there were rival acolytes in the tomb.
"Be on your guard," Sasuke said, "I'm detecting hostile presence in the area."
"That whole Force-sense thing is really creepy." Sakura said.
"Keep your focus forward," Sasuke said, "This is not going to be easy."
Upon entering the main level of the tomb, Sasuke saw several rival Sith Acolytes looking around the tomb, "Show time," Sasuke said as he drew his war-blade, "Might want to get that rifle ready."
Sakura flipped out her rifle and took aim as Sasuke jumped, and came down with a spinning-slash on top of one of the rival acolytes, slicing him into two pieces from the right shoulder to the upper-waist.
As a second acolyte turned, Sakura drew a bead on the man, and pulled the trigger.
The man was struck on the right side of the head, sending him to the ground.
A third turned to see Sasuke coming, he barely had time to curse before Sasuke's war-blade with through the side of the man's chest and exited through the side of the man's neck.
The acolyte's minion turned only to have a round from Sakura's sniper rifle clip the tip of the man's helmet which caused the man's head two swiftly twist to the right, breaking his neck.
A fourth acolyte had his blade out ready to fight when Sasuke withdrew his blade from the third acolyte's chest, and swing when the acolyte raised his blade to fight.
The acolyte jumped backwards to run directly into one of the statues, Sasuke simply grabbed the statue with the force, and bring it down right on top of the acolyte, crushing him.
The forth acolyte's minion had his blaster pistol ready when he aimed at Sakura.
Sasuke quickly bolted in front of Sakura with his hand raised, the bolt bounced off his palm, and rebounded into the minion's forehead.
Sasuke stood there as the man flew backwards from the force of the bolt slamming into his forehead, over the small railing of the platform he was standing on, and screamed as he was thrown down what could have been a ten-story drop.
Sakura walked up to Sasuke, they were both dumfounded, "How'd you do that?" Sakura asked.
"The force," Sasuke said, "An ancient technique of concentrating the force in the palm of your hand. I thought it was lost."
"Well apparently not," Sakura said, "Shall we continue Lord Sith?"
Sasuke looked up at Sakura as she walked on, and raised an eyebrow, "Damn this cat has claws," he thought, "Me like."
Sasuke followed Sakura toward the entrance to the lower levels, and as they did, Sasuke could feet a dark presence he sensed before, "Do what you can." Sasuke said.
"Ok," Sakura said as she walked up to the tomb door in time for Sasuke to feel a dark presence behind him, in one swift move, he turned around, and took the Pureblood Sith that threatened him after he got his war blade off his feet, "You."
"Hello," the Sith said as he kicked Sasuke in the forehead, sending him backwards.
As Sakura raised her rifle to fire, the Sith held his hand out, and force-choked her.
As Sakura choked on the force, Sasuke took this opportunity to tackle the Sith into the statue, he then delivered two swift punches to the Sith's face, then kneed him into the groin, and threw him to the ground, his concentration on Sakura broken.
Sakura fell to the ground, gasping for breath, she looked up in time to see Sasuke draw his war blade, and swing at the Sith who narrowly dodged the swing in time to pass out.
The Sith got up, swung again at Sasuke who blocked the blow, and kicked the Sith back.
After recovering, the Sith spoke, "You're good," the Sith said as he pushed himself out of the statue he was halfway stuck inside, "You're good."
"You work for Lord Saber," Sasuke said as he swung his war blade around in his hand, "He has made several threats against my family," Sasuke then noticed the Jedi held in the prison's lightsaber lying hidden behind the Sith, "In killing you, I'll be one step closer to driving my lightsaber through his metal-infused heart."
The Sith charged at Sasuke who deflected the blow, used the man's momentum to swing him around, held his hand out, and the Jedi's lightsaber leapt into his hand.
As he clicked the button, the blade made a sharp pzzzuuuuu as the orange glow illuminated Sasuke's face.
Sasuke swiftly turned around, now wielding war blade and the Jedi's lightsaber, and the Sith backed off a little.
"Where'd you find that?" The Sith asked.
"It was already here," Sasuke said as he spun around with the saber and the war blade in his hands.
As the Sith struggled to block the two weapons, Sasuke felt his confidence growing, but it dropped when the Sith slammed his war blade into a lit bazaar, and set the blade on fire.
As Sasuke blocked the blades, he stumbled backwards, and as the Sith closed in for the kill, he felt nothing more then what could have been a blunt-blade hit him in the side of the arm.
Sasuke looked at his arm, his shirt was minorly scorched, but his arm was perfectly fine.
The Sith swung again, the blade hit Sasuke upside the head, but it didn't even hurt.
He then repeatedly started hitting Sasuke with the blade, but it didn't even hurt him.
The Sith then swung once more, Sasuke caught the blade, and his entire hand lit up, but it didn't even hurt.
Sasuke thrust his hand forward, and the Sith was caught off guard, and thrown backwards against the wall.
Every force-sensitive has their special ability, I guess for Sasuke it was fire.
The Sith stepped off the wall in time to have Sasuke stab him through the chest with his war blade.
He swung once more, only to have Sasuke knock the blade from his hand, he then removed the war blade, and took the final swing.
The blades made a sharp X as they crossed the Sith's neck, and splattered blood all over Sasuke's vest.
Sasuke then rushed over to Sakura who was completely unconscious, "Sakura," Sasuke said as he lifted the Twi'lek girl off the ground, "Hang on."
Sasuke placed both hands against Sakura's chest, right above her breasts, and focused, with a sharp inhale he felt a piece of his strength leave him, and enter Sakura.
Sakura coughed loudly, and sat up, breathing again, "Thank the force," Sasuke said as he dropped next to her, "You ok?"
"Yea," Sakura said as she looked over at him, almost breathless, she then picked his head off the ground, feeling the soft Cathar fur of his face, "You saved me."
"You're worth saving." Sasuke said.
Sakura blushed a little bit which was concealed greatly by her pink skin color, "Let's get moving," Sakura said as she helped Sasuke stand up.
"If you would," Sasuke said as he picked up the Jedi's datapad from the same place that Sasuke saw his lightsaber.
Sakura finished the final pieces of the puzzle to get inside, and the door to the lower levels came open.
There were no stairs though, they had given way a long time ago to a sheer vertical drop, "How do we get down there," Sakura asked.
"The old-fashioned way," Sasuke said as he swept Sakura off here feet, earning a surprised squeak from her, "Hold onto me."
"Wait why?" Sakura asked.
She soon found out as Sasuke stepped off the edge, she screamed as he head-tails flew upwards to gravity, but what stopped them was Sasuke sending a concentrated blast of force through his feet, cushioning their fall, and having them land safely in the lower levels.
When they arrived in the lower levels there was a staircase that led all the way up to an ancient forge.
"Glorious," Sasuke said as he started up the steps, "Wait here."
Sasuke arrived at the top of the stairs, retrieved the saber pieces from his satchel, and placed them on the forge.
He then took to his knees, and focused, the pieces of the saber came apart with ease while the saber crystal started to crackle and hum.
Once the components were together, he could feel the power in the saber, and as he grasped it, he felt a small heat build in his palm.
When he activated the lightsaber, the blade ignited with a sharp bbbuuuzzzzzz, the inside of the blade was solid black while the outside glowed a beautiful sapphire blue, Sasuke felt powerful holding it in his hand.
He then deactivated his lightsaber, and walked down the stairs and up to Sakura, "Ready to leave?" Sasuke asked.
"How," Sakura asked.
"Same way we got down," Sasuke said as he swept Sakura off her feet, "Let's go."
Sasuke knelt down, and in one forceful bound leapt to the top of the forge, and then onto the same platform the acolyte lying dead on the ground next to the forge with a hole between his eyes flew over when Sasuke caused his blaster bolt to fly back into his own forehead.
After setting Sakura down, Sasuke bowed slightly toward her, and pointed toward the exit, "Shall we?" He asked.
"After you." Sakura said.
Sasuke and Sakura left the tomb, and walked back into the Sith Academy and into Kakashi's office.
"Well done in the tomb," Kakashi said as he walked up to Sasuke, "I assume you have your lightsaber?"
"Yes," Sasuke said as he held up his new lightsaber, "I also took care of Darth Saber's assassin."
"Did you find another piece of Darth Masquerade's holocron?" Kakashi asked.
"No," Sasuke said, "She wasn't in the tomb."
"I am sorry," Kakashi said, "I wish there was more. I guess you'll be heading to Droman Kaas now?"
"No," Sasuke said as he hooked his arm around Sakura, "There's something we have to do tonight."
"Ok then," Kakashi said as he turned to leave, "I however am leaving for Droman Kaas at once. I'll see you when you get there."
"Yes master," Sasuke said as he pushed Sakura against the wall, "I hope you don't mind if we use your office," Sasuke leaned close to Sakura's ear and whispered, "You want to save that Jedi put your hand on my waist."
Sakura giggled, and took hold of Sasuke's belt, "Have fun," Kakashi said as he left.
Sasuke gently kissed Sakura's jawline, "You taste pretty good," he said before stopping to hear his master's footsteps disappear from the hall.
Sasuke then grabbed Sakura by the arm, and pulled her toward the exit so they could watch Kakashi leave.
"Nice cover," Sakura said, "Don't do that again."
"Gotcha," Sasuke said, "Right now we need to plan that Jedi's escape."
"Why are you helping this Jedi?" Sakura asked.
"I'll tell him and you tonight." Sasuke said.
That night…
Sasuke and Sakura snuck into the prisons as the guards shifted duties for the night, The Jedi was sitting in the cell, "It's you," he said as he looked up at Sasuke.
"Hey," Sasuke said as he bent the bars of the cages with the force until the Jedi could squeeze through, "Stay low, and follow us," he then pointed at Sakura after handing the Jedi his lightsaber and datapad, "By the way, this is Sakura."
Sasuke, Sakura, and the Jedi snuck out of the prison, and once they were close to the main hall, they saw a Sith soldier patrol, Sasuke waved his hand, and the Sith moved off to check a 'disturbance' they saw.
The 'disturbance' gave Sasuke, Sakura, and the Jedi the chance to make a run for the exit.
Leaving the temple, the Jedi basked in the light of the Korriban moon, "Let's go," Sasuke said as they ran over to one of the taxis, and turned it on.
"Where are we going?" The Jedi asked.
"There's a spaceport a few miles away from the academy," Sasuke said as he pulled a datapad out of his satchel, "This is your ticket home," he handed the datapad to the Jedi, "Study these instructions to the T."
"Nar Shaddaa?" The Jedi asked.
"There are no ships going from Korriban to Coruscant," Sasuke said, "Right now Nar Shaddaa is your safe haven. One of the members of your Council has been called, they will ensure your safe return to the loving bosom of the republic."
The spaceport…
Once at the spaceport, Sasuke and Sakura hurried with the Jedi behind them to the shuttle that would take him to Nar Shaddaa.
Once they were at the entrance to the shuttle, the Jedi stopped at the ramp, "Before I go, I have to know," the Jedi said, "Who are you, and why are you helping me?"
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha," Sasuke said as he leaned against the hydraulic-piston, "And as for the reason I'm helping you…" Sakura and the Jedi leaned in close to Sasuke, "Deliver this message to your Jedi Council. The cold war between our governments has cost the lives of many good people, and it nearly cost me my family's. This cannot continue which is why I hope us parting on good terms helps my case."
"Maybe," the Jedi said, "By the way, my name is Den'em."
"Good to meet you," Sasuke said before reaching into his pouch, "Also deliver this to your council," he retrieved one of the crystals he took from the tomb of Ajunta Pall, "As a gesture of good faith."
"A crystal?" Den'em asked.
"A very special crystal," Sasuke said, "Black with a blue glow. Keep it safe, there are so few of those left in the galaxy."
"Thank you," Den'em said, "I will not forget this my friend."
Sasuke and Sakura walked off as the shuttle Den'em was on flew off into the sky.
The two then boarded a shuttle of their own to head to Droman Kaas.
The shuttle they were in was a very long express shuttle like a train, and the cart they were in was first class complete with a view to space and everything.
"So," Sakura said as she took her seat in front of Sasuke in the private car, "Since we have a few hours do you think you could get this slave collar off me?"
"Sorry," Sasuke said as he walked over to her, and undid the collar, "Forgot."
"So now what," Sakura asked as she looked at Sasuke who took his seat in front of her as the ship leapt into hyper-space.
"I don't know," Sasuke said as he poured two glasses of Polanis red, "I can think of a few things, but how about we work together, as equals?"
"You and me," Sakura asked, "Partners?"
"Why not," Sasuke asked as he held out a glass to Sakura.
"Why not," Sakura said as she took the glass, "Couldn't hurt. You and me taking on the galaxy together. Get along, get rich, have fun."
"I'll drink to that," Sasuke said as he held out his glass, "To getting rich, and having fun doing it."
Sakura tapped her glass against Sasuke's as their ship head off toward Droman Kaas.
Adventure, danger, and with a hot female Twi'lek? Sasuke you lucky bastard…
