Chi Chi laid in bed snuggled up next to Goku asleep. Goku was laying in bed holding Chi Chi on top of him when he heard his phone go off. He ignored it, nothing was going to ruin this for him. The phone went off two more times. On the third he grumbled and grabbed his phone of the end of the night stand.

Vegeta: 911, follow my signal.

Bulma: Hey where are you and Chi Chi currently?

Bulma Hello? Goku can you answer me please?

Bulma: ok seriously I don't need a pissed off Vegeta anymore can you answer please!?

Vegeta: you have 60 seconds until I come and beat your ass for not answering.

Goku rolled his eyes and started typing away in annoyance at what was so important for Vegeta to call a "911" He never had done anything like that before.

Goku: Yes your almighty highass…

Vegeta: You have 15 minutes to get to where I am with Chi Chi before I come and get you. End of conversations.

Goku groaned and looked down to the naked beauty curled up onto him. And decided that he would make Vegeta wait longer.

Goku: 1 hour…..dont think about stopping by if you like your life currently.

Vegeta:…1 hour.

Goku knew what he could pulled and couldn't pull. Vegeta knew Goku was stronger than him and if he really wanted to, he would take Vegeta one on one and win no problem.

Placing his phone back onto the table he scooted out of bed to go and grab his pants. Pulling a small cotton bag out of his pant and made his way back to bed. Chi Chi groaned from the lack of warmth and curled up into a ball in the sheets.

Goku smiled down at the woman who adorned the bed. His whole life was right there and he would anything and everything for her, to protect her, to make her happy. She was his soulmate in this universe and nothing would come in-between the two of them.

Sliding back into bed he pulled Chi Chi back up onto his chest. The pure bliss and happiness he could feel from Chi Chi was the greatest feeling and he didn't want it any other way, but this moment was going to have to end in a hour.

Opening the pouch he let a ring slip out and he grabbed for Chi Chis left hand. Sliding the ring onto her finger and then resting her hand over his heard.

Chi Chi felt the cool metal slip onto her hand and then it placed onto the hard chest. I love you so much Chi Chi. You know that? Chi Chi smiled keeping her eyes shut and squeezing Goku tighly as the sheets fell onto her hip. Open your eyes sweetheart.

Chi Chi squinted her eyes from the light peaking through the window. And looked up at her hand on Goku's chest. He eyes blinked a few times and then she sat straight up staring at her ring then to Gokus eyes. "Goku…ar..are you as..k"

"Yes" goku lightly laughed " I would get down on a knee but were both in bed naked so I thought I would just…yeah" Goku grabbed her hand and kissed where the ring was.

Chi Chi started to tear up and launched herself at goku kissing him speaking in-between each kiss. "yes. Yes. A. million. Times. Yes."

Goku grabbed her face and rolled her over till he was on top of her and let himself slip into her pulling them both down into ecstasy.

"Took you long enough" Vegeta stood on the edge of the warehouse outside with his arms crossed as Goku landed and slide Chi Chi out of his arms. Vegeta took note of the ring shining off of Chi Chis left hand and nodded to Goku in acknowledgment "We have a lot to catch up on here."

Goku raised an eyebrow in question "its been 12 hours since I last saw you….what could be so much."

Vegeta started walking into the building with Goku and Chi Chi in tow. As they walked though the building Goku took note of the three sayian space pod and a very large ship. The place was larger and very deceiving. Goku didn't expect to find as large of a space when he walked through the hanger doors, let alone to hear the whole mountain was carved out entirely. Chi Chi was just as impressed with the size of the place but she was more impressed by the size and just big ships in the warehouse. She has no idea the significance of anything held within the building yet.

Vegeta meandered the halls until they came into a kitchen space walking up to the coffee pot and poured himself a cup of coffee. Walking straight out the doors and down the hallway to the end into a large room with a board full of string, pictures, and computer screens lining a wall. In the middle of the space was a table for meetings. Bulma, Mr. Briefs, Piccolo, Krillin, 17, and 18 were all present.

"uh….what are you all doing here?..." Goku was thrown off guard, taking in everyone present. It was not what was expected.

Someone's cell phone rang and everyone looked around confused. Chi Chi broke out of her confusing realizing it was her phone. Grabbing to answer it, she saw it was her father calling which was very unusal.

"Hi Dad?" Chi Chi walked over to the corner talking on the phone while everyone else began talking around the table. Vegeta started to break down the situation on who was going to be assigned to what duty until Chi Chi walked up and tapped on his shoulder.

Vegeta turned his head to the side and lifted a eye brow "…yes?"

"ummmmmmm my father wants to talk to you?... I don't know what about or" Vegeta grabbed the phone and walked off.

"This is Vegeta. How can I help you?"

Vegtea was nodding his head and listening. Goku was taking note of the conversation that Vegeta was currently having.

"Tell me why I would ever help you?...Whats in it for me?...Where is this mercenary?"

The phone snapped shut.

"Kakarot you are coming with me. We have a "mercenary" to go and pick up. Apparently her guard has been here on earth this whole time but committed to solitude when she died. Everyone else stay here. Bulma you are left in charge, you know the breakdown for now so start getting everyone on board with the plan and the newly sayian on board." Vegeta chuckled at his last comment and smirked.

Goku squinted his eye at Vegeta and followed after him. "Don't fuck with me on this one. Who are we going to pick up exactly?"

Vegeta grumbled his comment to the situation "This whole past couple weeks is becoming too much like a family reunion for me…..your father."

Vegeta and Goku landed outside a small house on a farm in the middle of no where of the mountain range. Knocking on the door the two sayians waited until the door opened and two very big eyes were bulging out of a familiar face.

The man with features too similar to Goku was down on one knee and elbow across his knee "My Prince." He looked up in shock "I had no idea you were alive or survived at all."

"Get up." Vegeta walked into the house and did a once look around. Before turning back to look at Bardock.

Bardock stood up and looked toward Goku as his second heart attack of todays shock took place. "Kakarot…..you're..alive too." Bardock stook a large step to Goku and wrapped his arms around his son he thought dead.

Goku let the shock slowly sluff off him. After a good 30 seconds he released the hug and took a step back. His father taking in the appearance of his now grown son. "You have grown well son. I cannot believe you are alive…..and out of all places this planet. How?"

Vegeta rolled his eyes "Stories later Bardock. We are here on business."

Bardock acknowledged this and waved Goku in to sit at the table. A pot of coffee and hour later Vegtea and Goku caught Bardock up with everything that was going on within the realm of Earth, unknown to him.

"Well I guess if I did get a TV I would of know you all were alive a long time ago after see photo of Chi Chi and you all. I am sorry I have been such a disappointment and dishonorable to you my prince too. I failed at protecting Phoenix."

Vegeta held a hand up. "You have a chance to get that back. The Phoenix is still alive. How I don't know. Where I don't know. But I also do need you for something. I was going to train her myself but now that you are here…"

Goku's eyes narrowed menacingly at Vegeta and he hollowered out in disapproval standing up and slamming his hands down onto the table. "DON'T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!"

Vegeta didn't flinch but Bardock was throwin back into his chair in shock at his sons reaction currently since he was in the unknown of his sons love status.

"He will be training her whether you like it or not Kakarot. You did train my aunt if I am correct?"

Bardock nodded still in shock at his sons reaction. "Yes my prince I did….but am I missing something here? Why would…"

Vegeta growled at Goku to sit down. "Good. You are training her daughter, and your now daughter-in-law."

Bardock spit out his sip of coffee that he currently had in his mouth. "You're joking with me right now…..son?! Wait how? Your blood oath?"

Vegeta growled "I'll give him a beating for it later but I cant do anything about it anymore. By the way Kakarot you need a shower. You wreaked of sex earlier, let alone her. You will be training with me Kakarot. Bulma will be getting all the inventory in line and ready."

Goku scoffed at Vegeta and crossed his arm in displeasure.

"So let me get this all straight. To make sure I am on page with what is happening. I am going to train Phoenix's daughter and Phoenix is still alive but we don't know how…Radiz, Nappa, and Spike who is Chi Chis step brother are behind all this. We don't know where they are hiding but have an idea. Radiz is striking on the night of the ball from what you gather."

Vegeta nodded.

Bardock closed his eye in displeasure remembering the past. "I never thought he would turn into the ugly person he has. I raised you all better than this. When I heard, he was to be married to Phoenix, I was so excited. I know you wouldn't know this Kakarot, you were only a few years old. Two of the best warrior, bound to have strong children. But when I confront her about how she felt about this and how he was treating her, I vowed I would help her escape and protect her."

Bardock got up to refill his cup of coffee and sat back at the table. "We used the day Frieza decided to visit out of no where as her escape. In the Chaos of everyone trying to get things organized. She escaped out of a space pod. I void to follow her in the ship after things settled down and I could remove the tracking system." Goku nodded remembering the last time he saw his father.

"I remember you saying you had a mission to go on and protect someone. You didn't know how long you were going to be gone. I didn't understand till I was older about why you were saying goodbye to me. I thought at the time you would just be back after the mission. Once word spread of the Phoenix missing and abandoning us…and you along her side."

Bardock placed a hand on his sons shoulders. "I know I am truly sorry son but I had to follow. I made a vow and I was going to uphold it. When her death happened, I exiled myself out here to never be happy. I would reflect on how I couldn't protect her and broke my vow I made to uphold and protect her and her family. I haven't heard or seen the King and Chi Chi since. I trained Chi Chi when she was little but after her mother passed I left."

"I can only imagine he is back to collect what is his which was Phoenix. He was very possessive and dark in those matters. He wouldn't share, and I'm guessing he want Chi Chi as penalty for what her mother did. The sick bastard is most likely going to make them both his in his mind to make up for lost time."

Silence sat around the room as Goku and Vegeta digested the news. Vegeta nodded in agreement "That makes sense with his character. I remember hearing stories from Nappa about him. But as far as Spike goes, I bet he trained him and brain washed him to think he was helping him out. When he is just using the pathetic weakling to get his way."

Goku was disgusted by how he could be related in blood anyway to the person known to him as his brother. "He is defiantly a piece of work father. And not the nice type….we should be getting back to everyone else."

Vegeta got up and looked back at the two identical sayians "you remember how to fly right?" vegeta chuckled and smirked at the older man

Bardock chuckled "I see the sense of humor you had hasn't left."
