Chapter Three
Hogwarts Express & The Sorting
WogBoyAC

CHAPTER BEGIN

It had been a month since the Malfoy's and Harry had gone shopping in Diagon Alley to get their supplies they needed for Hogwarts and now Harry and Draco had made their way onto the Hogwarts Express after saying goodbye to Draco's parents and are currently walking the length of the train trying to find an empty compartment

"You know for a second there it looked like mum wasn't actually going to let you go." Draco said.

Turning to the blonde, Harry raised an eyebrow. " And it seemed to me that both Narcissa and Lucius were glad to be rid of you. The boy said making Draco glare at him.

Dismissing his friend, Harry came to a stop outside an empty compartment and opened the door.

Following Harry inside, Draco sat down on the booth to the left while Harry sat down on the booth on the right.

When the door to their compartment opened.

"Hello boys."

Turning to look at the door Harry saw an Acquaintance of his and a friend of Dracos and boy by the name of Blaise Zabini and his older sister Isabella standing in the doorway.

"Hey Blaise." Draco, being the first to greet them, gave his friend a small wave.

"Hey Draco." The boy smiled at his friend. " Do you mind if I join you?" The boy asked.

"Only if it's just you." The blond smirked at the older girl.

"Nice to see you too Princess." The girl quipped with a roll of her eyes.

"Don't call me Princess." Draco growled at the girl as she stepped into the compartment and took a seat next to Harry whilst Blaise sat next to Him.

"Aww what's the matter? Is the Princess getting upset?" Isabella mocked.

Eyes Narrowing Draco brought out his was from his robes. "I told you NOT to call m- Come now Draco, there's simply no need to be such a drama Queen." Harry interrupted.

Taking one look at cousins face Draco knew he had to stop."

"Otherwise he might feel the need to teach me a lesson."

"Sorry Harry." Draco apologised, putting his wand away.

Sending the boy a smirk, Isabella turned her attention to the boy sitting next to her.

"Hey Harry." She smiled at the boy.

"Isabella." he replied.

"How are you?" She asked, ignoring his tone.

"I am well Isabella." He answered. "And how are you this morning?" He asked turning back to look t the window.

Sending Draco and her brother a wink she turned her attention back to Harry.

"Are you excited about finally going to Hogwarts? She asked him. She knew it would annoy him to keep asking questions, but she just couldn't resist sometimes.

"Of course I am." Harry drawled. "Can't you tell?"

" No." She smiled. "That's why asked."

Sighing softly he turned back around to face her. "What do think your fourth year is going to be like?" He asked, noticing Draco was looking at him curiously.

Sure, he gets annoyed by constant questions but he wasn't about to lash out at her. He was a gentleman after all.

"Boring." She shrugged. " Nothing exciting really ever happens at Hogwarts."

"Your in Slytherin aren't you? Draco asked from his seat across from them.

Raising a delicate eyebrow she turned to look at the boy with a look that clearly said 'are you stupid'. "Of course I'm in Slytherin. What does that have to do with anything?"

" Nothing." The blonde gave her a smirk before turning back to Blaise.

"Ladies and gentleman please take your seats, we are about to leave the station." A voice sounded throughout the train.

"So tell me Isabella, how is your mother?"

"Great." The teen rolled her eyes. "She's currently in Athens with her latest catch."

"And how long do you think this ones going to last? Harry asked as train started moving.

"Please, the guy may be rich, but he's a complete idiot. I give a week, maybe two."

"How long have they been in Greece?" Draco asked joining the conversation.

"Just under a month." Blaise answered him, smirking.

"I suspect you will receive a letter within the next couple days explaining how your mother is going to mourn his loss." Draco chuckled.

"Most likely she's going to buy herself a nice house or mansion or something." Isabella shook her head. "That is what she normally does."

"How do you think she'll get rid of his this time?" The blonde boy asked.

Shrugging, Isabella chuckled. "She tends to go through a cycle. I believe this time it will be an "accidental" tumble down the stairs." She told the boys, Blaise nodding in agreement.

Harry actually laughed, that woman was pure evil.

The three others in the compartment were surprised. Harry only laughs when he really finds something entertaining.

Draco was about to comment when the door to the compartment being opened interrupted them.

"Excuse me, has anyone seen a toad? Neville here has lost his."

"Neville." Draco questioned, looking over at the two people at the door.

The one who had spoken was small girl, who had to be their age, with bushy brown hair, two front Buckteeth and much to Draco's distaste was wearing Muggle Clothing.

And the other person, a boy, also their age had messy black hair, brown eyes, chubby and a dumb expression on his face.

"That would be me." The boy puffed out his chest. "Neville Longbottom." The boy introduced himself, a smirk on his face.

"Ahh The infamous Boy-Who-Lived." Harry smiled, standing up.

"Who are you?" The boy asked.

"Harry, Harry Black." Harry introduced himself, smirking when he saw Neville's eyes narrow dangerously.

"Come now Longbottom, that's no way look at people." He placed his wand underneath Neville's chin. Smiling at the fear on the boy's face. "Aww what's the matter." He mocked in a smooth voice. "Is little baby Longbottom afraid of Harry?" He laughed. Sending chills down everyone's spine.

"And who might you be." He asked, switching his attention to the girl next to Neville, keeping his wand underneath the boy's chin.

"I'm Hermione Granger." She told him shakily, she didn't understand what was going on. She had met Neville earlier on the train after he asked her if he could sit with her in the compartment she in, only to realise, minutes later, that his toad had gone missing and offering to help him find they began knocking on other compartments to see if they could it. So far everyone had seemingly been in awe of Neville, of course that was due to him being famous, She of course knew this since she had read all about in a couple of books.

It had been the same for every compartment they visited, until this one, these people, especially this Harry boy, had been outright threatening and had mocked her new friend. And she of course not having grown up in the wizarding world she didn't understand why they hated each other so much. She just hoped Neville could explain it later on.

"Granger? I haven't heard of that family before." Draco frowned "You must be a mudblood." He growled.

"A mudblood?" The girl asked, not understanding.

"Don't pay him any attention." Harry smiled, digging his wand into Neville's neck, warning the boy not to pull out his wand. "Draco stills needs to learn a lesson in how to respect others."

To everyone in the compartment they couldn't have agreed more but to Draco he understood the underlying threat.

Scoffing, Neville took a deep breath to calm down. "Have you seen my toad or not?"

"No, we haven't." Harry answered lowering his wand.

"Fine." Neville responded taking a small step back. "Let's go Hermione."

"Alright." She told her friend, and, turning to Harry she said. "Thanks anyway."

Nodding at her words, Neville sent one last glare at Draco before turning and walking away, Hermione right behind him.

Watching them knock on the next compartment's door, Harry shut the door to theirs before turning around and gave his cousin a cold stare causing the boy to shiver in fear.

While he was staring at Draco, the Zabini's were wondering Harry seemed to be so upset. Afterall they knew Harry and they were well away about how he felt about Muggleborns.

'Then again, I've also heard stories about Harry and his teachings.' She mused looking at the Harry's cold eyes.

"Sorry Harry, I- I should have known better." Draco shuddered slightly, looking at Harry in fear.

Letting his cousin stew in fear for a moment, He chuckled.

"Did you see the look on Large-arses face when you called that filth a Mudblood." He smirked.

Draco smiled in relief.

Six hours had gone by and in that time Harry's Group had been joined Draco's friends; Theodore Nott, Tracey Davies, Daphne Greengrass and much to Draco's annoyance; Pansy Parkinson. And everyone was happily chatting away, even Harry, much to everyone's surprise, had been making small talk with Isabella the entire time.

"The Restricted Section sounds rather interesting, it must be filled with all sorts of…rare Magic." Harry stated. He couldn't wait to see what secrets it held.

"Certainly seems likely, Unfortunately most students never get to see its contents." She explained.

"So I assume that only the Studious and overachieving are allowed access?" he asked.

"Sound's about right." She agreed. "And from what I've heard only those over the age of fifteen are ever allowed in."

"I see." Harry stated.

"Ladies and gentleman we have reached Hogsmeade Station."

Standing up, they all began to prepare to leave the train.

"Well I'll see you all later." Isabella told the group. "I'm off to find my friends." She said, opening the door to the compartment.

"The first years take the boats to the castle, while everyone else takes the carriages." She explained stepping out of the compartment.

"I hope to see you all in Slytherin." She gave them all a small wave.

"Please." Draco rolled his eyes. "Like any of us would be going anywhere else."

"Well everyone else maybe, you though, I'm not so sure." She commented smirking at the blonde.

"Later Princess." She waved, before turning and walking away, ignoring Draco's indignant shout.

Ignoring Draco, Blaise turned to the rest of the group. "Time to go guys."

He told them, pointing outside the compartment at all people walking past them.

Walking behind the group as they stepped outside the train harry had one thought in mind.

'if I want to get into the restricted section, I'm going to need a new plan.' He smirked to himself.

When Daphne, who had been walking by Harry's side, had seen his smirk was about to ask what he was thinking about when a loud, deep voice stopped all conversation.

"RIGH' FIRS YEAR'S THIS WAY PLEASE, FIRS YEARS, O'ER ERE!"

Looking over to where the voice had come from, Harry and his group were greeted by the sight of a giant man, wearing a large brown coat holding a lantern in his left hand, waving them over.

"Half-Breed." Harry scowled, speaking loud enough for only Daphne to hear him, causing said girl to smirk.

"Righ' you lot, we'll be takin' the boats o'er to the castle, so follow me and stick close together now." He told them all.

"You There." He pointed at Neville. "Isn't that your toad?" he asked.

"Trevor!" Neville explained rushing forward and picking up his toad, while everyone, save for Harry and Daphne, laughed at him.

"Thanks Hagrid." Neville smiled at giant man, hugging the toad to his chest.

"Righ' well, let's get goin' you lot."

"I wonder why we have to take the boats while everyone else gets to take the carriages." Tracey commented from her seat next to Draco.

All of the first years were currently on small boats, big enough to fit four people, crossing a lake headed toward the castle.

"I assume that they made it this way so that the first years could see the Castle in all of its glory." Daphne suggested, although they noted, that due to her tone they couldn't actually tell whether she was being sarcastic or not.

"How do you think they sort us?" Draco asked, changing the subject.

"If you had asked Lucius like I had, you would already know the answer to that question." Harry commented, raising an eyebrow at his cousin.

Draco Shrugged. "Well? How do they sort us?" he repeated.

"They make us put on a hat." Tracey said from beside him.

"Is that it?" Draco asked not believing her.

"Hmm and the hat goes through our mind trying to find our most dominant attribute." She told him.

"And then what?" Draco asked her wanting more of an explanation.

"And then, based on that attribute, the hat puts us in to the house that suits us best." Tracey sighed.

"Oh well, that's not so bad I suppose." Draco commented looking out at the water before hearing a voice coming from a couple over from them.

"I'm going to kill Fred, he said we had to wrestle a troll." Making it clear their conversation had been overheard.

"Idiot." Daphne shook her head.

"Guy's look." Tracey's voice sounded excited.

"Woah." Draco stated looking to the front, getting nods of agreement from Harry and Daphne.

Harry knew, from what Narcissa had told him, that the castle stood seven stories high and was built on the edge of a cliff but her description had nothing on the sight that lay before them. In his opinion Hogwarts was truly magnificent. There really was no other way to describe it.

From the lake they were on he could clearly see mountains towering over the area to the north and looking left, he could see the tree - line to what he knew, was the Forbidden Forest.

And the castle itself looked like it was filled with battlements and other large structures and even now he could practically feel the magic permeating from the castle.

Harry couldn't wait to uncover all of its secrets.

When they reached the boathouse, Harry being the gentleman that he is, helped Daphne out of the boat while Draco, following his lead, helped Tracey.

Once everyone was out of the boats Hagrid led them up a nearby staircase until they reached a set of giant oak doors.

"Righ! You lot, these ere' are the doors to the Entrance Hall." He told them. "Now I wan' all o' ye' to stay ere' while I go and fetch Professor Mcgonagall.

While Hagrid disappeared everyone broke out into small chatter, while Harry just decided to listen in.

"Did you know that the school is protected by wards that prevent Muggles from seeing the castle I read about it in Hogwarts: A History." He heard Grangers say to anyone who would listen.

"I say Friar, Peeves has been given too many chances by now and I honestly believe th-Oh I say you must be new students, is it that time of year already." The voice paused waiting for someone to answer. However all anyone did was gasp in shock.

Looking over harry expected to see a couple of professor's but raised an eyebrow in curiosity when he saw two ghosts floating in the air above them.

"Yes, well." The ghost continued. "I am the Fat Friar, the house ghost for Hufflepuff and I do hope to see some of you there."

"Move along there you two." A sharp voice cut through the group. "The sorting ceremony is about to begin."

"I am Professor McGonagall and welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The start of term banquet is due to begin shortly but before that, you will all be sorted into to your new houses and those four houses are; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin and while you are here I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours." She paused to take a breath.

"Your triumphs will earn you points." She continued. "And any rule breaking will lose you points and at the end of the year the house with the most points will win the House Cup." She stopped there to let it sink in.

"Now the Sorting Ceremony will begin in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school so I suggest you all smarten yourselves up while you wait." She finished, her eyes lingering on Weasley's smudged nose.

Harry didn't even have to look down at himself to know he looked impeccable and the same could be said Draco, the girls however, despite looking flawless, were still looking each other over trying to find any imperfections. Afterall to Purebloods like them and Draco, presentation was everything.

"Hey Harry." Draco tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention.

"How's the hair?" He asked.

"Greasy. Harry replied, barely giving his blonde hair a glance.

"Just the way I like it." Draco smiled, causing Harry to shake his head.

"Now form a line." McGonagall instructed interrupting any further conversation. "And follow me." She told them, turning around and opening the doors.

As the group were led through the Entrance Hall Harry was impressed by how large it was. The stonewalls towered over them and were lit by large stone torches and the ceiling was so high up they all had to crane the necks upward to see it.

While they were admiring the Hall, they could hear the constant buzzing of hundreds of people coming a set of doors in front of them. 'must be the Great Hall.' Harry figured. However he noticed that they weren't being led to go through those doors but they were being led into a small chamber just off to the side of the Hall.

'They really like putting on a show.' Harry figured as the group came to a stop in front of a door on the other side of the chamber.

"One Moment Please." She told them.

Knocking on the door with her wand causing a loud bang, Harry and everyone else noticed the noise coming from the other side of the door had come to an abrupt stop.

Opening the door in front of them, the group were greeted to sight of a Hall even larger than the Entrance.

Four long tables filled with students were sitting below thousands of candles floating in the air above them.

Professor McGonagall led the group through the two middle tables until they came to a stop in front of the Professors table.

Taking a look at all the professors Harry only recognised three of them.

'Severus Snape, Albus Dumbledore and Lily Potter.' He shook his head. 'This should be fun.' He smirked.

Turning his eyes away from the teachers he noticed, sitting on a stool in front of them was the sorting hat.

For a few moments there was no sound in the hall, then Harry saw the hat twitch and a rip near the brim opened up to form a mouth and much to Harry's bemusement the hat began to sing.

Oh you may not think I'm pretty,

But don't judge on what you see,

I'll eat myself if you can find

A smarter hat than me.

You can keep your bowlers black,

Your top hats sleek and tall,

For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat

And I can cap them all.

There's nothing hidden in your head

The Sorting Hat can't see,

So try me on and I will tell you

Where you ought to be.

You might belong in Gryffindor,

Where dwell the brave at heart,

Their daring, nerve, and chivalry

Set Gryffindors apart;

You might belong in Hufflepuff,

Where they are just and loyal,

Those patient Hufflepuffs are true

And unafraid of toil;

Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,

if you've a ready mind,

Where those of wit and learning,

Will always find their kind;

Or perhaps in Slytherin

You'll make your real friends,

Those cunning folks use any means

To achieve their ends.

So put me on! Don't be afraid!

And don't get in a flap!

You're in safe hands though I have none

For I'm a Thinking Cap!

After the hat had finally finished singing the Students broke out into applause and Harry was glad to note that the Slytherins were only clapping politely.

"Now." McGonagall cut through the clapping. "When I call your name, you will step up here and I will place the hat on to your head." She explained unraveling a scroll.

"Abbot Hannah." Getting out of the line a blonde girl with two pig-tails stepped up and sat on the stool while McGonagall placed the hat on her head.

"HUFFLEPUFF!" The hat exclaimed, making the girl get up and walk over to the table on the far right.

"Black, Harry."

Harry stepped out of the line and walked up to stool pausing slightly to look in the eyes of Lily Potter. For a split second, when she caught him looking at her, he saw anger in her eyes until Harry gave her a sad, uncertain smile. Making the woman replace the anger with curiosity.

Turning around Harry sat on the stool.

A split second went by before the hat made a decision.

"SLYTHERIN."

Smirking when the Table on the far left broke into applause and getting up harry walked over.

'Time to play a game.' He thought, sitting down next to Isabella Zabini, who much to everyone's surprise, had gotten up when Harry's name had be called and sat down at the end of the row of students so that she could sit next to him, ignoring their looks of surprise.

"Bones, Susan."

'So that's Susan Bones.' Harry thought, giving the girl a quick look over. 'I'll have to find away to get close to her.' He said to himself as he sat down.

"HUFFLEPUFF." Again the Hufflepuff table broke out into applause.

"Boot, Terry."

"RAVENCLAW." This time the second table from the left broke in to applause, some of the older students were even seen standing up to shake his hand.

Next a girl by the name of Mandy Brocklehurst went to Ravenclaw while Lavender Brown became the first Gryffindor and Millicent Bulstrode went to Slytherin.

"Davies, Tracey."

"SLYTHERIN." Smiling the girl quickly stood up and walked over to the slytherin table and sat down next to Harry.

"Granger, Hermione."

"GRYFFINDOR."

"Greengrass, Daphne." Walking with an elegance that could only be associated with her upbringing, Daphne reached the stool and sat down.

"SLYTHERIN." The hat shouted after only a few moments, making the girl smile and practically glide over to the Slytherin table. And sat next to Tracey.

"Longbottom, Neville."

"Neville?"

"Did she just say Longbottom?"

"The Neville Longbottom."

Harry sighed as the Great Hall broke into whispers.

"GRYFFINDOR."

'No surprises there.' Harry rolled his eyes.

"Malfoy, Draco." Smirking the blonde walked up to the stool and sat down and before the hat even touched his head it screamed. "SLYTHERIN."

Twenty Minutes later and there was only two people left to be sorted.

"Weasley, Ronald." Mcgonagall said, motioning the boy to come forward.

As the hat was placed on his head the hat began to speak. "Ahh another Weasley, well I know just what to do with you. GRYFFINDOR" the hat exclaimed causing the red head to sigh in relief.

"Zabini Blaise."

Thankful that it was finally over the boy walked up to the stool.

"SLYTHERIN." The hat decided after a quick deliberation.

After Blaise had taken his seat and Mcgonagall had stepped away, Dumbledore got to his feet.

"Welcome." He began. "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts, Before the banquet there are a few things I would like to say and here they are; Nitwit!, Blubber!, Oddment!, Tweak! Thank you." The man sat down as everyone, excluding the slytherins', laughed.

"Is he mad?" Tracey asked as food appeared on the tables.

"Yes." Harry stated, reaching for some food only to stop when a hand stopped his.

Looking at whom the hand belonged to Harry raised an eyebrow, questioning Isabella.

Without saying anything Isabella lowered her hand and grabbing a spoon, she scooped some food from the middle of the table and began piling it onto Harry's plate. Everyone, including Harry looking at her completely stunned.

Ignoring them, Isabella gave harry a wink and continued to pile on the food until she decided that there was enough on there before she began to pile food on to her own plate.

'I wonder what that is all about.' Harry wondered giving the girl next to him a long stare before he turned to his plate and starting eat.

"Of Course he's mad Davies." Draco smirked. "My father has always said the Dumbledore's been losing his marbles for years." He explained making a few people who heard laugh.

At long last the last of the food soon disappeared and Dumbledore got to his feet again.

"Now before we all tuck ourselves into bed I have a few start of term announcements to make." He began. "First are to be reminded the Forbidden Forest is out of bounds to all students and our resident caretaker, Mr. Filch wishes for me to remind everyone that no magic is to be performed between classes and in the corridors." He paused to take a drink.

"Quidditch Trials will, like always, be held during the second week of term and finally, I must give you all this warning." He stopped to make sure everyone was listening. "This year, the third floor corridor on the right-hand side is strictly out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a very painful death."

Harry raised an eyebrow at the man's audacity. 'He can't be serious.'

"Thanks for the invitation." Daphne voiced quietly getting those who heard her to nod in agreement.

"Now of to bed! Trot Trot!."

After being led down through the dungeons the first year Slytherins were now crowding around their common room.

"Right, Listen up you lot because I'm only going to say all of this once." He said getting their attention.

"We, being the older Slytherins, are the ones who run this house, of course we still answer to Professor Snape, but if we tell you to do something, you do it and if you don't, you will be punished for it." He paused looking directly at Draco.

"Now outside these walls we to present a united front to the rest of the school. If one us is insulted we expect you to have each others backs. If you are caught insulting another Slytherin outside these walls you will be punished and if you are caught breaking any rules you will be severely punished for it and if y-" Harry interrupted.

"You know Draco, I get that this is the Slytherin Common Room but… there's an awful amount of snakes in here, don't you think?" Harry asked ignoring the angry look coming from the 5th year Prefect.

Smirking Draco didn't get a chance to respond.

"HEY! Who the fuck do you think yo-GRKK." The Teen choked.

No one, save for Harry's group, knew what was happening, one second they were expecting the Prefect to teach the first year a lesson, and the next the Prefect was choking on..… apparently nothing.

Draco, smirk still in place, couldn't resist. "It's never polite to swear in his presence." He told them.

"Hmm looks like someone is about to learn that." Daphne smiled stepping forward to stand next to Harry.

Looking at Harry they were greeted to a shocking sight.

Harry Black was standing there with his left hand in the air slowly clenching it into a fist and his eyes were glowing red.

"Now listen up, all of you, because I'm only going to this once." He mocked them.

"I run this house, not you, not Snape, me and if any of you are stupid enough to try and defy me, you will be punished for it and this." He gestured the teen gasping for air on the ground. " Is only one way that I will do so." He explained, noticing, however he didn't have many convinced.

He hissed.

"and this" He said, ignoring the screams and shouts of everyone as all the snakes, including the ones on their school uniforms came to life. "Is yet another and much more entertaining way for me to punish those who don't fall in line." He chuckled. "No matter where you go, none of you will be spared from my temper." He explained releasing the Prefect from his hold.

"Have you learned your lesson yet?" He asked the teen.

"Fuck you Black!" the teen spat reaching for his wand. However Harry, being quicker then the teen raised his hand again and began to clench it to a fist, this time going for the heart.

"ARRGHH." The teen screamed in pain, falling back to the floor grabbing his heart making everyone in the Common Room momentarily forget about the snakes currently wrapping themselves around their necks to stare in shock at the screaming teen.

Laughing madly, Harry's tongue slowly ran across his lips.

"Do you see it?" he asked the group, his voice coming out smooth like silk.

"Do you see how far I'm willing to go to keep order." He asked them.

"Look at him." He instructed. "If I were to close my hand. His heart would collapse." He told them all. "It's quite the sight isn't it, watching someone die and knowing the last thing he will remember is pain he went through." He laughed.

"And it all could have been avoided if he had just, fallen in line." He said, releasing the curse.

"You see, there's a darkness inside of me that I can't always control and anyone who crosses me will suffer for it." He told the teen.

"And because I am so kind I will ask you this one more time." He said getting the teens attention.

"Have you learnt your lesson yet?"

"Yes." The teen shook.

"Louder, so that everyone can hear you."

"Yes, I've l-learnt my lesson." The teen said.

"Good good, now, kiss my robes." He instructed.

"W-what?" the teen groaned in phantom pain.

"Kiss my robes, and all of your wrong doings will be forgiven."

No one in the Common Room made a sound, they couldn't believe the audacity of this kid, although none of them were crazy enough to say anything, especially since the snakes around their necks had started tightening their grip.

Shivering, the teen crawled over from his spot until he was just in front of Harry, leaning down he kissed the hem of Harry's silk robes.

Sitting up afterward, the prefect froze as Harry's hand landed on top of his head.

"There, now that wasn't so bad was it?" He mocked, patting the teen on his head. "Just do as I say and I'm sure we will all get along."

Laughing, Harry hissed again and, much to everyone's relief, the snakes vanished.

"Now it has been a rather long day, so I'm off to bed." He told them. "I'll see you all the morning." He said, before walking past them, Draco, Daphne, Tracey, Blaise and Theo right behind him.

"Watch out everyone." Draco laughed. "Harry Black has come to Hogwarts." He said making everyone in the group, sans Harry laugh.

As the group disappeared into their respective dorms, every other student still stayed in the Common Room trying to process what had just happened. That was when the door to the Common Room opened.

Severus Snape had arrived.

Looking at his students he was expecting the 5th year prefect to still be going through the annual welcome speech and the rules of the house, instead, he saw the all standing there with mixed looks of shock and fear on their faces.

"What happened?" he asked a seventh year student who was closest to him.

….

"Nothing Professor." The student said after a small pause.

"Absolutely Nothing."
