a knock comes to the door, Jack answers, "hello?"
a cute girl holding a small puppy waves nervously, "I'm Angie, I was told that an Eric Matthews was interested in puffy here."
"he's studying, I'm Jack." he pets the squirming pup, "come on in."
"puppy!" Eric yells, jumping over the rail. She places it on the floor as he rolls around to play with it. She laughs, "is he always like this?"
"unfortunately." Jack couldn't tell who was more playful, Eric or the dog. "would you like something to eat?"
"no, I have a crock pot waiting back at my dorm."
"okay. So, are you going to visit again?"
"yeah, I guess. Bye-bye puffy." she waves at the dog and It barks happily at her as she leaves.
"well, it was great to meet you all and Eric, it was fun." Jason tosses his bag over his shoulder.
"yeah, you were a great help." Jack says sarcastically from under the puppy's mother, a malamute.
"I'll miss you buddy." Eric hugs him, then bawls his eyes out, "I'm never going to see you again!"
"that's not true, I'll visit when I can."
"you will? Yay!"
"bye you guys."
"bye!" everyone waves him off.
