Chapter 5

Nav was at home having some big news for her future husband.

"I sort all around invitations. Still have to sort something about food and..." ET was talking.

"I am pregnant." Nav said and he look into her.

"What? You said something?" ET asked.

"You heard me, mister." said Nav. She looked slightly worried and opens her mouth nervously to explain again. But before she had the time, ET lifted her up in his arms and swirled her around in the living room.

"You're pregnant? Really? Oh Nikki, that's amazing, babe." said ET. Nav smiled and kissed him.

"Are you sure that's good news?" asked Nav with a big smile.

"It's the best news ever." said ET and looked her into the eyes.

She sighed with relief and kiss him.

"I love you so much." Nav said.

"I love you too. And you know that." ET said with smile and kiss her. "Did you chose your bridesmaid?" he added looking into her.

"Yes I did. Two days ago actually." Nav answered.

"Who is it?" ET asked.

"Bomber." Nav answered with smile. "I know you choose Buffer and I should to chose Hannah, but I want my best friend by my side that day." Nav added.

"You know that Hannah can't stand Bomber from some reason." ET said with sigh.

"I know. But that is our wedding and I don't want to please anyone just myself and you." she said with smile.

"Okay babe, of course you shall have the maid of honour that you want." said ET and smiled to her. "I can't wait to start a family with you. This will be the best year ever. First I get to marry the woman I love and then we are becoming parents together." he said happily.

"It is still almost eight months before the kid comes." said Nav and put her arms around his neck. "I love you so much, I am the luckiest woman on earth," she added. ET laughed and kissed her. "I should probably tell Bomber that we're having a baby. She has had a horrible day, she thinks it is her fault that the young gap boy Leon died, so she definitely needs some good news." said Nav a bit later. She picked up her phone and tried to call Bomber, but the phone was switched off. "Poor Bomb, I bet she sits alone at home and are crying." said Nav.

"Or maybe drunk. It is Bomber. You know that we always made jokes that she is like Buffer. She would be bad but two days after she will bring all feelings down and be like always." ET said and kiss Nav again.

"Maybe I should to check on her. I am worried." Nav said with sigh.

"Don't even think on that." ET said and kiss her again.

"I'll just send her a text, then, asking if she's ok." said Nav. "Come to think of it, there is nowhere I'd rather be right now than here with you." she said and moved in closer to ET, who put his arms around her and looked into her eyes.

"I'm very glad to hear that you have your priorities straight." he said.

Nav smiled and kiss him not even sending a text message she wanted to send to Bomber. ET smiled and kiss her more deeply and carried her carefully in bedroom kissing her.

Buffer was at home with his wife watching TV. He was worried for Bomber, Bird, Dutchy. They all were feeling some kind of guilty for Leon's death, especially after Bomber didn't open a door.

"Are you ok Pete?" Hannah asked and looked up into him.

"Yeah, I'm fine, it is just hard on the crew whenever one crew member dies like this. They all feel it is their fault." he explained.

"I'm sorry, that must be tough for you. Do you want to take the time to call some of them to calm them down." asked Hannah and smiled to him. Buffer gave her a brief. "Thanks dear. I might do that." he said and went into the office. He picked up the phone and called Bomber. He was slightly surprised that her phone rang, and even more surprised when she picked it up. "Hey Bec, it's Buffer. I was worried about you when you didn't open the door earlier today." he said.

"Sorry, I was just not in the mood to talk then." said Bomber.

"Please don't think it is your fault, okay? I don't want you to suffer because of this." he said compassionately. "By the way, I hear that Nav chose you as her maid of honour for their wedding. So looks like it will be me and you that will do the second dance then." he added. Bomber could hear the smile in his voice over the phone. "Yeah, it's a great honour. They will be such a beautiful couple." said Bomber. Buffer laughed.

"I can say many nice things about ET, but beautiful might not be my first choice of words." he said. "Though I have to say she has done a great job at taming him. I would never have thought that such a big charmer as ET would ever settle down with one woman." he added truthfully. Bomber laughed.

"Me neither." she admitted.

"I'm glad to hear you laugh. Please tell me that you are over the worst shock about Leon." he asked, serious again all of a sudden.

"I still feel really bad about it, but Mr Red Wine has thought me that it isn't just my fault." she said honestly.

"Drinking won't help Rebecca." Buffer said with sigh.

"I didn't drink a lot." Bomber said.

"Whatever. Just don't switch phone off again." Buffer said.

"I won't." Bomber said thinking yeah whatever.

"Ok." Buffer said and ended a call. He sighed. She wasn't fine. Maybe she was laughing but she was far away from fine.

"Again that miss perfect? What has she done now?" Hannah said sarcastic.

"She thinks it is her fault that Leon died. Also she is drowning her sorrows with wine, so she is far from being perfect." said Buffer.

"Come dear, let's not waste my short shore leave on Rebecca." he added, knowing only too well that his wife was hopelessly jealous of Bomber.

Hannah sighed frustrated.

"Yeah like entire world is rolling around her." Hannah said frustrated. Why that Rebecca was getting all attention from her husband? Peter was her husband not Bomber's.

"Ok. We won't talk about her." Hannah said with sigh.

Buffer smiled at her and grabbed her hand.

"Let's go out to a nice restaurant and enjoy a meal together just you and me." he said. That made Hannah happy again. She loved her handsome husband and always felt special and lucky the few times the two of them went out together. "Great idea." said Hannah and kissed him. She started to get ready to go out. "By the way, I haven't heard from Nikki yet. I guess she is so focused on Josh when she is at home that she can't think of anything else." she said with a smile. Buffer just nodded and bent down to put on his shoes.

"Yeah, she can't stop talking about him and keep looking at his photo when we're at sea. Even when she's on duty." he said, not wanting to ruining their night by telling Hannah that Nav had chosen Bomber over her as her maid of honour. Instead he grabbed his wife's hand and the two of them went out to the restaurant.
