I STRCIKLY do not own Bakugan.

***3rd Person's POV***

It's only been a few days since then, but with Marucho's power and money he was able to get the basics done by those few days.

"No! No! No!" Avery yells, tears streaming down her face. She clung onto her mother's leg.

"Mom, please don't go!" She drags out the word 'please' desperately. Alice gives Shun 'a look', as he tries to pull Avery off of his wife.

"Honey, Mother's going to come back soon," She promised as she knelled down. Avery sobbed, Akio looks at his twin sister with grief, but said nothing. "And I'll bring you a present!" She tried to persuade her daughter.

"No!" Avery cries, she had a bad feeling, like everything was starting to drift away, and if she allowed her mother to go, it seemed to her she was allowing that drift to destroy her family.

"Avery, now" Shun tried to calm his daughter, scooping her up into his arms, "Mother's going to come for visits, and she'll be a mother you, and Akio" He looks at Akio who continued to stare at the sight. "Will be proud of" Shun says with complete confidence. Avery stifled a sob.

"Mommy, has to work, for a bright future for you and your brother" Alice pats her heads, as Avery stops crying.

"Come back safely" Avery says, voice hoarse and as she wiped a tear. Shun puts her down.

"How about you two go grab something for your mother to remember you by, other than a photograph," Shun suggested with a smile. Avery nods and grabs Akio's hand as they both ran upstairs to grab something value for their mother to keep. As Shun was certain that the twins were far from ear shot he continued. "Are you sure your alright with this, this won't be good for the children" Alice looks at her husband with sad eyes.

"I understand why Marucho is doing this, it's for his daughter. Wouldn't you want the best for our family, to make them happy as much as we can?" Alice says

"But are we making them happy by his decision?" Alice looks at Shun with a faint smile.

"I hope when I am gone, the children know how much their mother loves them." They heard loud footsteps from above, it was Avery and Akio, running as fast as they could back down.

"Were giving you our pair of necklaces!" Avery states handing her mother a Blue Sapphire strung on a silver chain. Akio hands the same thing, except that his gem was a Red Ruby. The size of the gem were fairly the same, and inch and a half long and an inch wide, it's cut was that of a shard, the sharp edges smoothen out for safety purposes. By the center of the jewel, its thick was exactly half an inch and as it spread to the edges, it grows thinner.

"But-"

"We want you to have it mother, so when you look at it you'll remember us!" Avery cuts her off. Shun smiles.

"And my remembrance—other than the ring—" Shun wrapped a green scarf around Alice's neck. "It'll be cold there" Shun scratches his end, his cheeks slightly pink. Alice giggles and replies her thanks, and kisses him on the lips, totally forgetting their were children in their midst.

Akio covers Avery's eye sight right in time, so she wasn't able to see the kiss, which lasted longer than needed. Avery on the other hand didn't bother to steal a peek, privacy, privacy. Akio clears his throat, reminding the parents that their children were there. They both blushed in embarrassment. Alice clears her throat, and approaches Akio bending to his height.

"I want you to take care of Avery for me, okay?" Alice asks, and he nods

"Of course I'll protect the family's little princess" Avery crossed her arms displeased, muttering she was not a princess

"Okay, our little knight, take care of everyone." She pats his head. She stands up, and looks at her family for probably the last for days, weeks, months, and perhaps years.

"I'll miss you all" She faintly smiles, pulling out her teleportation card from her pocket.

Soon she departed for Russia, where the first teleporter were, they'll do the basic studies there.

A Few Weeks Pass…

The Kazami residence only received letters, pictures and messages through phone, internet and whatnot, sometimes through snail mail too, from their Mother in Russia. She says that everything was going smoothly, and hopefully everything will be as simple as pi (or pie). She also says that there might be days or weeks or months, were she could not contact them.

She had to travel all around the world, and go to other dimensions and planets, or whatever you want to call it, to try to put their plan into action.

With the three Kazami's left at home alone without a mother and wife, life's rather hectic. Shun somehow got stuck training Dan's child, for some unbelievable reason he presumes. And of course his daughter and a few more people, for example, Rin and Fabia's children, who drops by for some lessons from time to time. Now the only reason Dan Junior joined Shun's very strict dojo wasn't to learn the art of being a ninja, though the thought plainly was cool, he was more interested and distracted with Avery.

"She looks so cool, so…" Dan thought, as Avery rolled like a ball on the floor, slid to her side, then hit her head on the wall accidentally, she grunted in pain.

"Okay she was klutzy sometimes" Dan Junior added as a sweat drop rolled down his face.

"Avery!" Shun was angered, honestly she was doing well, then she does something like that. He rubs his forehead.

"After this class, I would like to speak to you alone" Shun was a very, very, very strict teacher, it didn't even matter if it was his son who barely does anything but read a book in the corner of the room, but surprisingly passes the task rather too smoothly. And his daughter who seemed to be rather clumsy, she was bound to disappoint when you least expect it, which made Dan laugh from time to time, receiving a glare from his crush, Avery.

"Yes, Father" Her head hanged as she walked towards her brother and taking a seat beside him. His face was buried under a book, which Dan swear he have read for the millionth time. It was Dan's turn to look as cool as Avery. Avery's eyes looks at him, and he soon felt confident, he wanted to impress. Sure he did, but in a way that was so not ninja like, that Avery half-way had to avert her eyes to her brother's book, displeased with his un-ninja-moves.

Soon enough everyone was done with the testing part of their 'improved' skills. Soon everyone left, Akio, Avery and Dan stayed. Dan approaches Avery and tried to talk to her.

"Hey!" He greeted, Avery glared at him

"I don't have time for you" She walked pass him

"Wa-wait, didn't you like my moves?" He asked as he spun around. Avery stopped dead on her tracks

"That was un-ninja like!" She spun as she yelled at him, "If you threat my father's teachings like that again, I swear I'll make sure you drop out from his classes!" She felt insulted when she saw how he moved, no elegancy at all, rather ironic since she tends to screw up to, and her brother just had to point that out.

"You have no right to judge his way of being a ninja, when you can't even pass a test without breaking of making mistakes" Akio says not even looking away from his book, Avery's head fumed, she opened her mouth ready to say something, but Dan beat her to it.

"I don't have a natural affinity for ninja—anything, but what I do know is: I have a natural affinity with bakugans. Avery might end up tripping and falling and all that but she still has the grace of a ninja , and I KNOW she'll be a great one, everyone starts from somewhere after all!" Akio actually looked up from the book he have honestly read for about the 50th time, just to meet Dan's very confident gaze. Avery blushed slightly, that was nice of him to say.

"Thanks for the faith" Avery patted his shoulder and gave him a small smile

"Hear that Akio, I might not be book smart" She faked a cough "But I am good enough at something, and I'm not giving up till I perfect my love for it!" Akio sighs.

"Dan, or may I call you Junior?" Akio asked not particularly waiting for a reply, either was he still planned to call him Junior for reasons 1.) It reminded him of his father and how he felt as though he'd have to follow his footstep and 2.) Akio sees it somewhat like they have the same situation, aside from the fact that Dan Junior was willing to commit to that path, while Akio thinks otherwise.

"I praise you for such an…entertaining speech, but Avery has an appointment with our father" He finishes flatly continuing his book.

"Uh, oh yeah, well see ya Junior, and thanks" Avery waves at him, while she headed off to go to her father, who was tidying things up in the room, while listening to the children's conversation. He found Dan Juniors spunk to be rather familiar to someone he personally knows, Dan himself.

Junior leaves quietly, as Akio stayed reading his book, and Avery approaches their father as he just finish tidying up. Shun doesn't mind that Akio stayed behind, he knows that Akio was, even if it was the slightest, worried for his sister. Shun knells down in front of Avery.

"Avery," He laid his hands on her shoulder, she felt like she was in big trouble that she started to shake out of nervousness.

"Relax" He tells her and she nodded, trying to calm herself. "I have decided, that you will learn flower arrangement and tea ceremony and of the sort from the Masashi Residence. They are well known for their elegance with such fine art. And I do strongly believe it will help you become a fine woman, and just perhaps you will learn what is needed to be a proper ninja." Avery didn't quite understand what being a ninja and pouring tea and arranging flowers become so kindred, so her mind was fixed on another reason as to why she would be learning such things.

"I do not understand, Father. I believe there is another meaning to this." Shun raised a brow. "I do think strongly that you want me to be a proper wife, not an heiress of the dojo. Father, please I know I am capable of being a proper ninja and a good one at that. I can take care of your teachings as much as Akio would, if he could." Avery says with strong confidence, though it truly slightly wavered.

"No, I think this will be good for you somehow and…" Shun looks away a little embarrassed; a slight blush crept upon his cheeks. "I promised you mother that I will let you become a little more feminine…this is honestly the only way I could think of"

With this Avery unconsciously gave up, she wasn't going to fight or struggle, it was her mother's wish. And she knew her Father held onto promises like a shield.

"Fine, I shall go, but Father, when shall I start, and will I still resume lessons?" She asks her father.

"Well…I suppose it depends with your progress there, and since I swore to your mother…" Which makes the promise more than a shield, if it was a sworn to his wife it was like a sacred commandment. "Well, I suppose I can still teach you, as long as you do great with what your mother wishes for you to do. And if you act a little more girly for her…" Shun was starting to feel uncomfortable, he was a male, talking to a little girl about being more feminine, and he had no idea if this was working, or how 'feminine' works, not exactly, he wasn't a girl so of course he felt like he was charting unknown waters.

"So I take it, as soon as possible?" Avery inquired about when her lessons begin.

"How about the day after tomorrow?" Shun says, as she nods in agreement.

"So, Avery is going to be more feminine?" Akio asks, approaching them, his book shut and held by on of his hand on his side. "That would be interesting" Avery glares at him

"You cannot join her" Shun grimly says, Akio shrugs his shoulders

"I did not really intend to, I enjoy the company of my books and bakugan more than tea and kimonos and whatnot" Akio waves off the thought

"It makes me wonder what I can learn without Avery bothering me for—how many hours Father?" Akio inquired, more interested in what he can learn without Avery dragging, bombarding and basically disturbing him from his peace and silence with the delightful accompaniment of knowledge within paper.

"Six hours per day, if possible" As Shun says this, Avery chokes from her saliva in shock.

"How about my training!" Avery cries

"In due time, if you prove yourself worthy, I mean honestly, your mother will have my head if you turn less feminine and more manly" Shun shuddered in thought. They all laughed, it wasn't a joking matter, but for some odd reason Shun and even the children can't stand it when Alice was mad. She probably had some type of sorcery over them.

"Well I suppose I wait in enthusiasm" Avery tried so hard to be as adult like as she could. Sometimes the only entertainment she had was reading Akio's books, and by far she would rate his books as negative boring. And that wasn't good, it just meant it was so boring it couldn't hit a positive rank.

The day after the tomorrow, Shun talked about finally came, faster than Avery expected. The day before, they had shopped for at least two dozen different styled kimonos. And today she had to wear one, of course Shun had to put it on (properly) for her.

After he tied her hair and she wore her kimono, he thought of how much she could look like her mother, that is if she had orange hair and brown eyes. The three Kazami's piled into the car, Akio was teaching Avery a few history lessons about tea ceremony, the traditional dances, the—it honestly seemed endless to her, and she half paid attention.

Eventually they arrived in front of an old Japanese house, or at least to Akio and Avery it seemed somewhat close to their home, just bigger and it seemed more like a castle thank theirs. The wooden gate opens revealing a fairly ages woman.

"Ah, this is Avery, my daughter, she will be taught—"

"Yes yes, come in." They were forced in.

Shun and some stranger that Akio and Avery didn't particularly know exchange q quick conversation, and soon Shun and Akio headed back home.

"Good luck, Avery" Akio muttered, giving her a slight wave, as they retreated, Avery smiles at her brother.

"Okay, let's do this." Avery tried to pump herself up for the lessons.

After a few hours she ran away from the lessons, it proved harder than it looks like, which made Avery overly pressured thus, using her ninja skills, she escaped from class. She sat on the wooden floor, swinging her legs, since this was that type of house that has a foundation, which elevated the place, and leaving space beneath the house floor and the ground.

She hummed to a song her mother sang as a lullaby for her and Akio, her Japanese wooden sandals beside her.

"Uhm, who are you?" She heard a voice from behind her say, she turned and smiled to the voice

"I'm Avery Kazami, I'm a pupil here" She replies, it was a boy wearing a yukata, and about a year or two older than Avery. He had Brown hair it was slightly curly and he had teal-like colored eyes.

"And you are?" Avery inquired, she was in a terribly good mood, which also left her rather baffled.

"I am Ryuu Masashi" He replies "The Heir to the family business"

Thanks for reading, and I apologize if I can't really explain well.
