The sound of birds chirping made my eyes slowly open. The sky was bright blue above my head, small clouds passing now and then. There was a light breeze blowing through and it felt like a piece of heaven. For a moment, I had to force myself to remember everything that had happened. Sitting up, I noticed I was laying in the tall grass next to the pond. Like normal, families were scattered around the park. They were enjoying normal activities like picnics, frisbee and sailing remote control boats on the water. Glancing down, I saw I ad powered down out of my spandex suit. I pulled myself to my feet, trying to figure out what my first course of action should be.

"Catch, Billy!" A voice cried out behind me. My ears perked up at the sound of Billy's name. I turned to see Billy running and catching a football. Behind him, I saw Rocky and Kat standing in the distance. Rocky was posed like he had just thrown the ball. Billy caught it easily, jobbing back over to the red and pink rangers. They all looked young, the teenaged versions of themselves. Kat said something that made the boys laugh as Aisha and Adam walked over to them from the path. Dodging behind a line of trees, I did my best to keep out of view from them.

"Guys, Zordon said that he has located Rita and Zedd. They seem to be hiding out on a distant moon of Jupiter. He's not sure what's going on, but he didn't like the look of it." Adam said, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"As long as they aren't attack Earth, I am fine with it." Rocky replied, sitting on the grass. "Besides, we don't even have a way out there."

"Affirmative. With our powers still charging, we don't posses the ability to make a journey that far into space. We will have to wait until they attack." Billy said, frowning.

"That's terrible. I hope it's nothing too serious." Kat murmured, her accent thicker than I remembered. No wonder Tommy went after her after he received my letter. "Where's Tommy?"

"He's working out at the youth center. He has a tournament coming up and he wanted to get a few more sessions in. I'm heading over to spot him in some weight training in a bit." Adam answered, pointing his head towards the direction of the youth center. "I think he's waiting for Kim to call him."

"She still hasn't called him?" Rocky asked, standing up. Adam nodded.

"He's tried everything he could think of. He's called her phone, her aunt, the gym. No one seems to know when she's there and she has been practicing so much for the upcoming invitational." He replied.

"Aisha, haven't you talked to her at all?" Kat asked, looking concerned. I knew I shouldn't feel like a jealous school girl, but it was annoying to see how concerned she was about my relationship with my boyfriend she was ready to pounce on the second we broke up. Mentally gripping myself, I scolded my mind for going to the dark side for a moment.

"I talked to her last week, but she never said anything about not talking to him. She didn't say much at all. I can't help but feel like something is going on with her. She just didn't sound herself." I frowned, hating how true it was. If the only knew what I had been going through. I needed to stop this. I had a mission to get to and that didn't include spying on my friends to hear gossip about me. Slipping passed the trees, I jogged my way up the path away from them. Along the path, I came across the signs for the Youth Center. There was a trash bin next to it, a newspaper on top. Grabbing it from in there, I quickly read the date. May 5, 1997.

The two days before I fell down the stairs. My heart thundered in my chest. This was it. I could go to the dorms, stop myself from falling and prevent myself from breaking up with Tommy. We never would have broken up and we could have spent most of our lives together. Taking a step towards the Youth Center, I froze. No. I couldn't do this. I was here to save the world and stop Rosita from being born. I was wasting time on a personal mission that I had no clue would work. I needed to get to the moons of Jupiter before the fate of the world was doomed.

Bringing my communicator to my chest, I pressed the teleport button. With a pink blur, I was zipped off Earth and hurdled towards the Moon Place. I knew my plan had to begin here. I had no way to the space around Jupiter and this was the closet I could get to them. I morphed along the way, making sure I could breathe once I landed on the surface of the moon. The palace looked empty as I found myself on the large balcony that over looked the Earth. It connected to the throne room, my memory telling me this was where Zedd and Rita sit and make their plans. I had been shown this when he kidnapped me to be his bride all those years ago.

On the balcony, I saw a telescope perched on the ledge. I knew this was Rita's. Tommy had told us about how she would use this to observe us and Earth. Walking over to it, I peeked through the lens. It was focused on my friends in the park. They were playing catch now with the football, tossing it back and forth to each other. I tilted the lens until it focused on the inside of the Youth Center. Teenagers were walking around and hanging out. I found Tommy sitting in the back of the room, practicing his kata on the matt. His long hair was pulled back how I remembered and he looked worried. I knew it was because of me. It didn't take a genius to figure that out. "I'm sorry, Tommy." I whispered, knowing he was about to get his heart broken. It was about now that I had been getting ready to head back to Angel Grove. I hadn't talked to him much before that because of how home sick I was and how busy the coaches kept me. I hadn't tried to avoid him. It just happened that way a good chunk of the time before my accident.

Turning away from the telescope, I looked around the room for something that would hep my mission. I had to find a way to et Zedd and Rita to come back here before they can procreate with each other. I shuddered at the thought of the two of them doing anything that was involved with the baby making process. My eyes landed on a shelf of potions, ingredients for spells and other things I had no clue what they did. Next to it, I saw there was a charging unit. I recalled Zedd having to charge himself every so often so that he had power. Why couldn't' he be here, connected to it? It would be perfect. Instead, he was thousands of miles away from here. Maybe Zedd and Rita had a vehicle here that could transport me to Jupiter.

Serpentera.

My head nearly jerked itself off my shoulders as the Zord came to mind. It had it be here some where. Or at least the way to it. I searched around the room for any signs of it, hoping there would be a set of keys or something. I didn't find that, but I did find a small round silver sphere perched on a pillow near the throne. There was a Z imprinted on the side of it, similar to Lord Zedd's staff. Carefully, I picked it up from the pillow and looked at it. As I turned it, I felt the castle tremble under my feet. Running to the balcony, I saw a hidden stair case coming from the dust on the surface of the moon. It rose and connected to the side of the balcony.

Gripping the sphere tightly, I sprinted down the steps and into the cavern the stairs made into the moon. Torches were perched on the walls of the walk way, leading me down a long passage way. The sphere seemed to hum as I made my way. Soon, it opened up into a large cavern where Serpentera was laying dormmate. I couldn't believe my eyes. Had they gone to their destination without the Zord? It was the most powerful weapon he had in his arsenal. I found it hard to believe Zedd wouldn't travel with it. The eyes glowed red as I approached it. The mouth popped open, granting me access to the inside of the Zord.

I found myself in the cockpit of the giant monster sized Zord, located in the head of the beast. There were no visible buttons, only a steering wheel type device. Like the throne room, there was a pillow set on a pedestal. I set the ball there and everything came to life. Everything shook as the moon opened above us to allow Serpentera to float out of it's hangar. In the distance, I saw Goldar and Finster on the balcony, waving frantically towards Serpentera. They were probably confused at who was driving the Zord since Zedd and Rita were not there. Serpentera rose further into the air before flying away from the moon.

Looking around, I saw that there were weird symbols that seemed to glow as we flew through space. Signs of Zedd and Rita were obvious on the Zord, her potions and his chrome plated objects scattered over various places inside as I wondered down the length of the space ship. I found the room where I had watched all my friends die but I avoided it. I couldn't handle to be in there and I didn't even try. I did find what appeared to be a master bedroom, a large bed set up and another charging station next to it. There were maps tacked to the wall on one side of the room, dates printed under it. It suddenly become clear to me why Serpentera wasn't with Zedd and Rita. It had delivered them to Jupiter but had returned until they were ready to come home. They went to Jupiter to conceive their children, Rosita and Thrax.

I was thrown forward when Serpentera suddenly sped forward faster and climbed in altitude. I struggled to get back to the cockpit and through the window, I saw a large planet coming in the distance. Serpentera shifted towards a smaller mass, one of the moons circling the planet. It knew where to go, the destination more than likely already planned into it. There was a sudden beeping noise followed by static.

"GOLDAR!" Lord Zedd's voice roared over an intercom. "What ever reason you have for interrupting our mission better be a good one!" His voice sounded outraged and he probably was fuming at the idea of his henchman ruining his evil plot to bare demon spawn children with Rita. "Answer me, you giant gorilla!"

"Guess again, Zedd." I called back, sitting in the throne. Zedd let out another angry cry, obviously realizing who I was.

"Kimberly? I thought your ranger days were behind you! Doesn't matter. Once Serpentera brings you here, I will make sure they are once and for all." I thought of his disgusting red lumpy skin and the coldness of his gaze through that visor. It had been many years since I had laid eyes of Zedd and Rita. It wasn't exactly something I was looking forward to. I had to figure out exactly what I was going to do. The moon was looming closer, it's pale sun burnt color looking beautiful in the bleak sunlight that reached this corner of the solar system. It was a great dealer smaller than our moon, measuring about a third of it's size. I could see buildings on it's surface now. They were smaller but beautiful, chrome covering them all. This must be where Zedd's people came to mate. Gross.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that there were some buttons on the wall. There were weird symbols above them, but it didn't take much to figure out they did something. I pressed the top one and the eyes of Serpentera glowed a bright red color. The machine slowed slightly, coming to a hover above the moon. This must control its ability to fly or just float. I pressed the button under it and a loud rattle began under my feet. Raising an eyebrow, I leaned forward and saw something glowing from the mouth. A beam of red shot from it, hitting the moon next to the one we had been driving towards. The small planet exploded, pieces of it flying slowly in orbit towards us. "Woah." I whispered, pressing the button again. The beam stopped, disappearing. I prayed no one had been on the moon.

"STOP PLAYING WITH MY SHIP!" Zedd roared, fear evident in his voice. I ignored him, going to the final button. I pressed it and Serpentera began to fly again, heading faster towards the moon where Zedd and Rita were. Everything shook as it picked up speed, hurdling through space. Standing, I could see that it would make a head first collision with it's destination at this point. Reaching over, I pressed the button for the beam again. The shaking increased before the beam shot out from the spaceship. It hit the small planet, but it didn't explode like the first time. The ground grew redder and redder as it pierced through it. Over the intercom, I could here Rita crying for help from Zedd who was speaking in a language I couldn't understand. I could tell he was praying though from the hushed whisper.

"She's going to kill us!" Rita's voice cried out Serpentera continued to pick up speed. "DO something!"

"Shut up, you ungrateful witch! There's nothing-." The feed cut off, Zedd's voice disappearing. The beam hit something on the moon and there was a rather large explosion. Grabbing my morpher, I pressed the button to teleport. Nothing happened. I pressed again, panic beginning to raise in my chest. Again, nothing happened. I was too far away from the morphing grid for it to work. I was lucky I was still morphed. Gripping the back of the throne, I closed my eyes. I had no way out of here and Serpentera only had minutes before it would crash land on the surface of Jupiter.

Taking a deep breath, I thought of everyone I had lost. Aisha. Her beautiful smile and funny personality. Adam. His shy smile and smart wit. Billy. His intelligence and devotion as a friend. Jason. My first best friend and my protector til I was old enough to fight on my own. Rocky. His stupid charm and sense of humor. Trini. Her grace and her talent. Zach. His passion for life and silly dancing. My friends for as long as I could remember. My friends who I turned on when I got hurt. The same friends that welcomed me back with open arms. If this worked, all but Trini would be alive. They would go back to their lives and be able to move on.

Tommy. The love of my life. The one person I hurt more on this planet than myself. If my plan worked, he would be alive and teaching at Reefside still. Our reunion wouldn't happen, and neither would our reconciliation. He will never know how much I still loved him and how untrue the letter had been. He would continue to go on through life thinking I had found someone to replace him. But at least he would be able to live his life. Having him alive meant more to me than anything else.

The metal out side was growing hotter now, the speed creating friction. Inside, the temperature was growing and sweat poured down my face. It mixed with he tears I cried as I said silent good-byes to everyone. Going into this, I should have known I wasn't going to survive. It was why Zordon protected me in the end and not anyone else. This was my destiny and I had fulfilled it. I had to admit, my life hadn't been perfect. And even though we had spent these passed few weeks fighting Rosita, it had been wonderful getting to know my friends and Tommy again. Getting to tell him just how I felt and how everything went down. It was the perfect way to remember them, even if they would never know about this or remember me.

Bracing myself behind the throne, I stared through the glass as I could make out the carters on the surface of the moon. The front claws of Serpentera slammed into the ground, the sound of the twisting metal filling the empty space. The entire thing shook like an earthquake as it continued to crash. The window shattered as the mouth hit next. Closing my eyes, I waited for the pain of impact that I knew would come.
