"Hey, beautiful." Tommy's voice said behind me as I sat on the rock in our place in the park. Turning, I smiled when I saw him. He had changed from his workout clothes to a white long sleeves shirt and a pair of blue jeans. His hair was pulled back into a pony tail and I could tell he had showered.

"Hey, yourself. How was your work out?" I asked, standing up on the rock. He smiled up at me, me having a good foot on him while on my perch.

"It was okay. Rocky and Billy sure handed me my ass a couple of times though." I frowned.

"Why?" He shrugged.

"My mind was on other things I guess."

"Like what?" I asked, concerned. It wasn't like Tommy to get beaten by Rocky and especially by Billy. The two of them were good but Tommy had YEARS of training that they didn't.

"Oh, a certain girlfriend of mine. Especially after the weekend we had together." He smirked at me as a blush filled my cheeks. I thought about our time together too, another escape to his uncle's cabin that no one knew about. We had spent the whole time wrapped up in each other, not a care in the world except each other. It had been perfect. So perfect that I almost had to remind myself that we had responsibilities and couldn't just spend the rest of our lives there.

"I've thought about it a time or two, I guess." I said softly, winking at him.

"I hope it's all good thoughts." He replied, wrapping his arms around my waist. I rested my arms on his shoulders.

"Mostly." Leaning in, I kissed him gently on the lips. I loved the feel of him against me. It was something I could never get used to or tired of. It just felt right to have Tommy wrapped around me. Like he was born to be there for always.

"Good." He said, pulling away slightly to look up at me. "I would hate for you to not think highly of me or my talents."

"I promise. That will never be the issue." I kissed him again, but he frowned slightly. "What's wrong?" Sighing, he swung me off the rock and sat down. Carefully, he set me in his lap and glanced at the water behind us. "Tommy, you're scaring me. What is the matter?"

"Do you ever think about the future?" He asked, facing me.

"Well, yeah. That's why I've been doing gymnastics since I was five. And getting good grades." I replied. He shook his head.

"Not that kind of future. I mean our future. Together. Like after we are retired from the Power Rangers and done with school. Do you ever think about that time?" He rested his hand on my lap, looking down at it. I reached down and grabbed it with the hand that wasn't on his shoulders.

"Of course, I do. I think about it all the time. We will still be together. Hell, by then we might even be married!" I exclaimed, smiling down at him. "Why? Are you worried something might happen?" Biting his lip, he shrugged with a guilty look on his face.

"Lots of couples in high school say they will stay together after graduation. Most of them don't or something goes wrong and they spent the rest of their lives miserable together. Who says we won't be one of those couples?" Letting go of his hand, I placed my hands on both his cheeks and made his look at me.

"Tommy Oliver, we have way more going on between us than most high school couples. We've saved the world together more times than I can count. That has to stand for something in the grand scheme of things. I know we haven't been together as long as other couples but that doesn't matter. I love you with all of my heart and I promise that no matter what, we will make it. I have no doubt in my mind that there is something between us that is meant to me. Can't you feel it too?"

"Yes." He whispered, kissing my lips. "I love you, Kim. I don't know what I would do without you. You are everything to me and I can't picture my life without you in it."

"Well, you don't have to. Cause I'm not going anywhere." I kissed him again before hopping off his lap. He lingered on the rock, his hand tucked into his jean pocket. "C'mon. Let me buy you a smoothie." I said. He didn't seem to hear me though as he stared into space. "Tommy?"

"Huh?" He asked, looking at me confused. "Oh, sorry. Lost in thought. Sure." He stood up and wrapped an arm around my waist. "I can't wait to marry you."

"Yeah?" I smirked up at him. He nodded. "Me too, handsome."
