Orignally I was planning to do an April fools day joke chapter but I thought Nah! Already half way though so why not just finish it ^ ^ Enjoy!

Myra stared at the duel disk that rested on her right arm, she bit her lip as she observed the deck that was slotted in and remembered how Mokuba had gave this to her as a way of saying thank you since she had not asked for anything in return when he had asked her for a favor involving his brother. Not that Myra minded trying to bond with the older Kaiba since she could sense he was a little wound up and wanted to talk to someone without wanting to feel like someone was going to use his words against him. Just hearing his comments almost left her glaring but shrugged it off and before waiting until he finally spoke to her. To their surprise it had not been such a bad talk as they originally had thought.

Seto soon finding out why she was a little uneasy about dueling went to the technicians later that day and asked them to find a way to lower the power levels of a duel disk while recording their findings. Yes he didn't believe in magic, but seeing her powers levitate things while her eyes changed colour did scare him until he saw she was trying to control them still.

"Don't you get scared when you use them?" Seto had asked after sitting down at his desk.

"A bit, but I know they are apart of me and I have no reason to fear myself. I know that I will feel like I'll never be good enough and stuff but I am always aiming to do what I can" Myra had explained before showing Seto her notes, staring at them for a bit he soon nodded before taking a sip of his tea.

Now taking five cards out she soon heard the disk activate and bit her lip.

"I hope this works" she wrote on her arm before exhaling mutely. Using the magic card Magic Multiplier she used it to combine the effects of Pot of Greed allowing her to take thirty cards from her deck and observed the hand now. Biting her lip as she looked at a particular card she soon sent ten magic cards, ten traps and nine monster cards to the graveyard before placing a card containing a yellow bird. Soon a large yellow ball with markings and line appeared above her head, staring at it she began to remember some incantations she had thought about when she was trying to find one that would go well with the card. Now with one idea she placed her remaining hand down to where her shoes were and began to sign slowly but carefully as to not mess up what she truly wanted to say.

"Ancient forces black and white

Course the scene across the sky

Hear my voice hear my cry

Shed light among the darkness

And aid my friends in their time of need

As I call forth thy name Winged Dragon of Ra!" Myra signed the last part with a determined look as the air started to shudder and move violently around them, at first the sphere did nothing leaving her baffled while Marium watched on with a worried look.

"That should have worked, right?" Myra asked Marium who stared with a helpless look on her face.

"I… It should have" Marium replied as she tried not to feel herself become worked up. Soon she spotted something moving from the sphere and froze as light shone through the cracks of the lines causing them to shield their eyes. Soon the lines opened until they revealed a pair of wings followed by a body and head. A loud screech filled their ears as they stared in awe of what they were seeing.

"You… you did it! You summoned Ra!" Marium cried in relief as a wide smile formed on her face until she noticed light forming around Myra, her stomach immediately dropped as she knew why. Turning to look at Marium's spirit was Myra stared at her while feeling warmth glow surround her, she felt safe and protected within this light that it made her smile despite seeing Marium's stunned look.

"What is it?" Myra signed with a curious smile.

"The light, Ra is connected to the light within you" Marium explained feeling sorrow creep in knowing that the darkness would definitely see Myra as a target. Tilting her head Myra looked at Marium before giggling mutely.

"The light feels nice though, it's feels like someone's hugging me" Myra signed with a wide smile that left Marium wanting to smile until she remembered the darkness in the ring, that must have been why Myra attracted the evil spirit. The light despite being concealed kept branching out while attracting both good and bad things to her, knowing this left Marium more worried than ever before and she knew that she could not protect Myra all by herself. But she was definitely not going to ask Yami for help, no she was going to try her best even if it meant asking Lily for advice. Myra for sure would be set to training straight away in order to defend herself. Sensing Marium's unease Myra placed her hand in the older female's and smiled.

"It will be fine, I know you're here with me" Myra signed before placing her hand in the shocked Marium who grew emotional, tears filled the older woman's face before noticing Ra was staring at them. Not just Myra to her shock but her as well.

"Daughter of light, worry not for I shall protect what is most precious. I will be there whenever thou needs me. Remember this Wife of the Pharaoh" Ra said however Marium hearing the last part felt bitter and hurt.

"Tell that to him! I am nothing to him, what am I suppose to do? Why am I here anyways?!" Marium screamed at him with agonizing eyes. Both could sense sympathy coming from Ra which only made Marium more upset enough to retreat into Myra's mind. Staring at where Marium once stood Myra sighed mutely before feeling a claw touch her shoulder causing her to look at him.

"Time will come until he will regain his memories, patience is the only advice I can give thou. I am truly sorry" Ra said as she released a small smile.

"Thank you Ra" Myra exhaled before he vanished, taking the card out of the slot she examined how the card now looked different to her amazement. Text that was once Egyptian now showed symbols that left her startled for she knew exactly what they meant. Seeing these new effects of the dragon card she felt a grin form on her face knowing that this would not end well for most duelists if she ever chose to duel.

Myra closed her eyes as she continued to meditate with a blank mind, feeling the air around her she focused solely on her breathing until that also slipped past her mind. Silence immediately greeted her but did not put her off, instead it gave her comfort until she saw a faint light and blinked in surprise. There in front of her was a pale skinned female with bright blue eyes that had no pupils, the female wore a dress made up of petals that even showed at the bottom and went up to her ankles. The dress itself was a mixture of purples and blues creating a beautiful image that reminded Myra of water colours blending together. The female had a bluish purple fringe which involved some parts of the front fringe to remain resting just on her chest while the back of her hair was up to the nape of her neck. The female smiled serenely before waving fondly at Myra as she floated towards Myra allowing her to see a pair of petal like wings while a long scarf was laced through the back of the female's arms. The female giggled with a mature smile forming on her face before placing her hand on Myra's cheek.

"My name is Rosalina, I am a water fairy that is Lady Marium's duel spirit" The spirit greeted with a soft smile "I just came to say hello and to let you know that if you need my help I will be there to help you. Take care now" the spirit waved before vanishing, slowly Myra started to wake up to see that she was in the room Lily had placed her in to meditate leaving her to almost slump. That was new even for her. Myra soon moved her hand until she paused once she felt paper under her fingers causing her to move her hand and see a card with the same female she saw in her meditative state.

"Rosalina the Water Fairy, effects summon a fairy or dragon monster but must send the cards equal to the level of the monster being summoned. Cannot be destroyed in battle or card effects" Myra blinked as she saw that Rosalina was an eight stared monster with three thousand five hundred attack points and three thousand defense points. Looking at the door she saw Lily who nodded while holding a cup in her hand, slowly approaching the girl she sat down until she spotted what was in Myra's hand.

"She came to me when I was meditating, she's Marium's duel spirit" This surprised Lily who felt a smile form on her face.

"That's good then, so does that mean you'll be dueling in the tournament?" As expected Myra shook her head.

"Too crowded" Myra's nose twitched in dislike "I promised Pegasus that I would guard Ra, I'm not putting him in harms way" This left Lily smiling more.

"I do hope that things will look up although… I've noticed Yugi and Yami looking down" Lily commented, Myra however felt anger towards Yami grow before she shoved it away. No for Marium's sake she was not going down that route.

"Did something happen?" Lily asked, at first Myra was left reluctant before exhaling mutely since there was no point hiding it. She did want advice about this.

"Yami went to the art room where Marium was and kissed her, Tea found them and he ran after her" Myra said with a frown on her face. Startled Lily dropped her cup.

"I'm sorry what?!" Lily cried in alarm but Myra's expression showed she wasn't playing about, this left Lily troubled and sad from the thought of how Marium was taking this. This was no doubt going to cause a few rifts between her and Yami. "That's going to be a real problem no doubt about it" Lily sighed as she placed a hand to her head.

"However what's done is done, we can't change it but we can learn and try to move forward. Right Myra?" Lily asked a now stunned Myra and Marium.

"How can you even say that so easily?" Marium asked not believing what she was hearing, Lily hearing this smiled.

"I had my share of regrets, abandoning my family because of stupid reasons- fear being one of them but I know that if I allow fear to continue to hurt me I'll never be able to live the life I want. Which is why I'm teaching Myra here what I know in order to defend herself if I remember correctly was what you wanted me to do" Lily asked with a soft grin that made Marium want to grumble since it was true.

"Fair point" Marium mutters before they heard the door downstairs open.

"Sounds like Yugi's home" Lily mused with a smile "although wearing the clothes he has on now leaves me a little worried about his choice of fashion" she said wearily.

"You mean the fact he wears belts around his neck? Yeah I'm starting to question his preference here" Marium said with a heavy sigh. Lily hearing this immediately released a loud shriek as she laughed taking Myra by surprise, placing a hand to her mouth Lily tried to stop laughing but failed miserable while Myra watched the pair with a confused look.

"Um… what do you mean by bondage? What does that mean?" The pair looked at her before laughing even more causing her to blink rapidly.

"So innocent, please stay like that for a while, please!" Lily pleaded while Marium held her stomach as she laughed while sitting on her knees. Soon footsteps thundered up the stairs until they approached the door. Looking Myra saw a very confused Yugi staring at them.

"Why are you wearing a belt round your neck? Do you want someone to strangle you with it?" Myra asked causing Yugi to blink and take the belt off while his bracelets clinked as they moved.

"It's suppose to be a choker" Yugi replied weakly as he took a look at the scene taking place before him.

"Just don't choke, your mum needs you alive to take over your grandfather's business" Marium and Lily cackled loudly meanwhile Yugi blanched in shock from her words, his face soon went red as he picked up the pun in her words. That and seeing his mother laughing at what Myra signed really didn't help one bit.

"Um…" Yugi was left with the feeling of wanting to leave and never see his mother again given what was happening

"Thank you for taking that belt off now do me a favor and put something decent on Yugi, if I ever see you wear something like that again I'll ground you for two years and that means no dueling" Lily warned with mirth in her eyes as she wiped her tears away from. Yugi went rigid as he heard her words.

"But mum!" Yugi cried loudly until he saw her eyes go dark which immediately made him freeze in fear.

"Did you just try to talk back at me?" Lily asked sternly.

"No mum, see you later Myra" Yugi called as he ran to change into something appropriate knowing that his mother would hold true to her words.

"She does have a point there, I think you did go overboard with your choice in clothes" Yami agreed to Yugi's dismay.

"Just who's side are you on Yami?!" Yugi whined weakly as he took the vest off and placed a blue shirt on.

"The side that sees common sense" Yami replied before placing a hand to his chin as he sat on Yugi's bed, seeing Yami lost in thought left Yugi worried.

"Is something wrong?" Yugi asked as he took the bracelets off however Yami didn't respond confirming that something was off.

"I don't know why but Téa has been distant with me for some reason and she won't tell me why. Do you know why?" Yugi asked as he tried to get the spirit's attention but was still ignored.

"Yami!" Yugi yelled loudly enough to startle the spirit out of his musings.

"Forgive me Yugi, did you say something?" Yami asked Yugi who was pouting slightly.

"I was asking if you know why Téa has been distant with me" Yami's mind went blank while his face grew melancholy taking Yugi by surprise.

"It was my fault in a way, she assumed that you were doing something and ran before I could explain. Forgive me for causing problems between you two, it was not intentional" Yami said softly as guilt welled up inside for he was sure that he had hurt Rina as well. To think he had unknowingly hurt two females and on the one day that involved romance. Yugi mauled on Yami's words before sighing as he sat down beside him.

"Well whatever happened, Myra's upset with you and says you angered her friend a lot that she won't appear at all" Yami winced from Yugi's words, another thing he did wrong.

"I'll try to speak with her soon" Yami vowed as he looked at his bare wrists as his stomach twisted even more, Yugi soon bit the inside of his cheek as his worry for Yami grew.

"It might be best to give the spirit space, Myra didn't tell me how the spirit is feeling but her expression did show that it would be best to not approach her anytime" Yugi comments as he finished sorting out his new trousers.

"You maybe right" Yami nodded but remained unconvinced, he didn't know why but he had a feeling that it would be unwise to allow himself to distance her. Yes fear was a factor but in truth he had become a coward to show his face to her after what happened. Placing a hand to his face, he discretely brushed his lips with two fingers nearest to them. Even as he went inside his room or had slept he still thought about the times they kissed and how it left an imprint, it left him wanting more to his confusion. Even though they were possessing their host's bodies he somehow imagined the thought of how she smelt of lotuses despite the fact she was in a borrowed body. Just thinking about her left his cheeks growing pink but cleared his throat and slowly looked away as he remembered where he was.

Yugi who was laying on his bed saw some of Yami's thoughts felt his eyes go wide at how the spirit was acting like a shy boy dealing with a crush or… somewhat of a love issue-

"Wait love?!" Yugi blinked in surprise before picking up the fact Yami had thought about kissing but the face of the person remained hard for him to see. But it was at that moment that he remembered his missing tie.

"Yami… have you been in love before?" Yugi asked Yami who remained down but his cheeks still burned to his dismay.

"I don't truly remember" Yami replied after ten minutes had gone by, raising a brow Yugi observed Yami carefully not believing what he was about to do.

"You know… I still can't find my white tie after you went to speak to that spirit, what was her name again?" Yugi with a curious look only Yami was half listening.

"Rina… or at least that's what she claims it is" Yami muttered with a heavy sigh.

"Did something happen with her when you spoke?" Yugi asked before seeing Yami tense up before his mood went somber.

"We just talked" Yami shrugged half heartedly even though that was half true to his shame, seeing Yami in such a state left Yugi baffled at how miserable Yami was feeling.

"Sounds like something happened if the talk went bad" Yugi said while trying to get the spirit to open up.

"I would rather not talk about it Yugi, it's clear that I upset her so there's no need to get involved" Yami spoke in a tired voice. Frowning Yugi tried to think of a way to make things better, it's clear now that he thought it that the spirit liked Rina even though Myra was her host, that and now that he realised it he did remember appearing near the game shop feeling his face had gone red before vanishing quickly. Something that only meant-

"You like Rina!" Yugi blurted out to their surprise while shooting up until he was sitting on the edge of his bed, Yami quickly released his head from his hand and looked at him in shock.

"Don't be silly Yugi, how can I have feelings for her? I'm a spirit living in a puzzle without any memories that involved who I was before" Yami muttered wearily but Yugi remained unconvinced to his dismay.

"But that changes when you use my body since I am alive" Yugi added while Yami squirmed under his gaze.

"Th-that's irrelevant, when I use your body-"

"There have been times when you didn't have to duel in my body" Yugi said while watching Yami fidget a bit.

"Last time you had me go with Téa without telling me" Yami said bluntly as he frowned at Yugi who knew that he had a point.

"R-Right… my point is you've had some moments in which you felt emotions that are not mine, even though we have a connection there are some parts that are yours alone and you do keep things to yourself" Yugi reminded but Yami tried to avoid the subject to the younger one's dismay.

"As do you Yugi" Yami countered causing Yugi to almost deflate at how Yami was pushing away. There had to be a way to get the Pharaoh to open up but how?

"Wait a minute!" Yugi felt a rush of ideas formed but hoped that they would work.

"Yugi?" Yami looked at Yugi weakly as he had a sense that the boy was up to something.

"I'll be right back" Yugi said before taking his puzzle his off to Yami's surprise and rushed out the room. If Yami did like Rina the. The best way would be to push them together.

"Myra!" Yugi called as he spotted her drinking orange juice with his mother.

"What is it?" Myra asked with a curious look, only now after approaching her did he feel his sudden burst of courage leave him.

"I… I uh wanted to know if you are free this week?" Yugi asked shyly causing both females to stare at him.

"I have to train and you have that duel tournament to attend to remember?" she reminded him with a frown, Yugi immediately felt his face go red causing him to chuckle weakly. Lily stared at him oddly.

"Why are you even asking?" Lily asked bluntly as she narrowed her eyes at the now sweating boy who felt like he was being put under a microscope, despite the fact that this was for Yami. Suddenly a thought came to him causing him to smile.

"I wanted to know if Rina was free for the week, there was a tablet at the museum that I wanted to show her" Yugi replied now leaving all the females staring at him oddly.

"Wait… who is Rina?" Lily pondered before looking Myra.

"Why are you asking her? Surely she is older than you by thousands of years" this made his face go red.

"It's not like that Myra I just wanted her to come with me to see it" Yugi defended while waving his hands in front of him.

"Tell him I know what he's up to and the answer is no" Marium said coldly to Myra's shock.

"Rina says no, she knows what you're up to and refused to go" Myra responded with a frown, this deflated Yugi a lot.

"Please Myra, I really want to go with her to see it. She never saw it before" this left Myra wanting to rub her head weakly at how he was acting.

"Rina is a seer, she knows what you're up to and she doesn't want any part of it" Myra signed to a now stunned trio. Lily yes knew but to see that Myra knew surprised her a lot.

"You didn't need to tell him that" Marium said weakly.

"True but at least he cannot try anything funny as he knows you'll predict it" that Marium did not disagree with, Yugi meanwhile remained deflated.

"Then how about I practice meditating tomorrow with you?" Yugi asked.

"Can't, seeing someone tomorrow" Yugi blinked at her with a shocked expression.

"Who are you seeing?" Yugi asked now grasping on straws which left Marium and Myra slowly becoming vexed.

"Yugi please stop it, it won't work" Myra pleaded.

"The spirit has been really down" Yugi added, he didn't want to guilt trip her but he was running out of options. "He feels really guilty for upsetting Rina, I… I just want to make things right between them" Yugi admitted as he say down. Lily bit the inside of her bottom lip.

"Yugi…" Lily sighed heavily "this is between them, let them solve it on their own-"

"But mum I really want to make things right with them" Yugi pleaded while Myra raised a brow. "It's not like I can get Yami to spend time with Myra-" the group went still. Myra hearing this went pale and slowly got up, seeing a small window to escape she threw the glass at a startled Yugi and ran while he tried to avoid his eyes from being hit by the acidic drink.

"MYRA?!" Yugi cried before chasing after her only to whine as he heard her lock her door. "Please I really want them to make up" Yugi pleaded not seeing Solomon slowly enter the hallway with a confused look due to hearing running and a clatter on the floor above him.

"Please… Yami likes Rina and he is sorry about upsetting her" Myra glared at the door before writing on a piece of paper furiously.

"Did he tell you that he kissed her and ran after Téa who caught them?" Myra slipped the note under the door. Spotting the note Yugi immediately grabbed it and began to read it, his eyes went wide while the note shook in his hand.

"So that's why!" Yugi mentally slapped himself for not knowing.

"I didn't know Myra, I really didn't know" Yugi cried as he placed his hands on the door while gripping the note tightly in his left hand.

"It doesn't matter, he left her in tears and never one thought about how she felt do don't start trying to 'make things right' because this was his mess, he needs to fix it" Myra wrote furiously before slipping it under, guilt welled up inside Yugi at the thought of how Rina was feeling. It was no wonder she was not showing up and even if she had, she had been distant to him and acted like Yami didn't exist at all.

"Please Myra, at least help me try. I don't want us to fall out because of this" Yugi pleaded as he felt tears well up in his eyes. Falling down on his knees he shuddered as felt a sob enter his throat, frowning as she heard him both mentally and physically she mentally sighed before opening the door. Yugi pushed back slightly and saw her expression.

"Yami… he really likes her Myra and I don't know what to do. I really don't and it's…" Myra soon knelt down and hugged him allowing him to know she understood what he meant, Myra sensing that Marium had retreated sighed mutely before looking at him wearily.

"I'll let him see her tomorrow, I really do mean it. I'm seeing someone tomorrow so around twelve will be okay which means you can take part in the tournament so you won't be missing out" Myra suggested with a sad look, shaking his head Yugi looked at her.

"No, I'm not going to duel tomorrow. I can't duel while being conflicted I'll end up losing my concentration" Yugi said to her surprise but she nodded regardless.

"Okay" she signed before slumping while sitting in front of him.

"So… he really kissed her?" Yugi muttered causing them to look at the other, just realizing it his face went red while she went pale and green from the reality of what happened.

"Eww! I don't like you that way Yugi!" Myra pulled a face causing him to laugh without knowing why.

"No I don't either, if anything I see you as a close friend nothing more" Yugi responded while the pair looked at the other weakly. "Besides… I like Téa" Yugi shuffled weakly not seeing Solomon smiling as he walked away to the kitchen.

"For how long?" Myra asked with a curious look while tilting her head causing some of her fringe to move to the left, surprised by her question he paused before a smile formed on his face.

"Since childhood to be honest" Yugi smiled wryly as he reminisced on the past "I ended up falling for her, even if she doesn't notice but that's fine because I don't mind waiting for her" he added while looking at her.

"You know that she got annoyed when Rebecca hugged you right?" Myra asked with a sly smile that left him baffled by her words.

"She… she got annoyed?" Yugi soon chuckled weakly. "I doubt it, but thanks for trying to cheer me up" Myra rolled her eyes before helping him up.

"She did, I saw her and it was surprising… until wait a minute did Mai hug or flirt with you?" Myra pondered as she looked at the left part of the ceiling with a baffled look. Blinking in surprise Yugi smiled.

"She did in Duelist kingdom but that's when she was a about to challenge Joey" Yugi replied as he entered her room only to pause as he saw an easel being covered by a cloth, seeing what he was looking at she pouted before steering his head away.

"Not for you, it's not even finished yet" she signed with a grudging look on her face as she went to grab a book.

"I didn't know you painted" Yugi said before smiling brightly at her causing Myra to look away with uneasy eyes.

"I just felt like it that's all, no big deal. Hey! Don't!" Myra watched as he lifted the brown blanket to see a painting of Marium resting her arm on the edge of a window while looking at the night sky, her eyes contained many emotions that left him wanting to know what it was that she was thinking. Wearing a white dress and brown sandals, she had a blank space just above her forehead which left him confused.

"What is suppose to be there?" he blinked before looking at Myra who had a weary look on her face as she looked away.

"Seriously? I told you not to do that…" she signed, Yugi placed the cover back on and went towards her.

"It looks real nice… what did Rina say about it?" Yugi asked as he looked at the painting once more with an amazed look on her face.

"She hasn't seen it yet, I was doing it as a surprise for her" Myra replied while keeping her eyes away.

"I'm sure that she'll love it Myra, you have a real talent for painting. I can see why Mr. Devs and Miss Ria loved the painting back at the school" This left her stomach dropping.

"Seriously Yugi, come on! I don't like sharing stuff I don't want people to see. Yes I painted it but it's personal to me" Myra explained now looking upset to his dismay.

"I understand but can I see it once it's done?" Yugi asked with a hopeful look on his face that left her frowning even more.

"No promises, if I don't want to show it then that's final" she signed with a semi glare on her face that left him slightly deflated.

"I understand" Yugi nodded.

Myra left Kaiba corp with a tired but semi relieved look on her face, so far Seto had started to become somewhat 'nicer' but that was mostly due to how blunt and detached she was acting towards him. At first it did seem amusing to him until the pair slowly settled down.

"I still don't know why you won't talk at your house? It's quieter there I can imagine" she commented to him with her book.

"I have work and sort out the tournament, do you think I can gain free time just to speak to you for a few hours?" Seto had responded bluntly as he typed on his laptop.

"That's what secretaries are for, that is unless you're firing them like someone would pop pills in their mouth like skittles" This made him pause and frown at her.

"I do not fire that many people" he muttered bluntly as he resumed typing.

"How's Megami?" Again he paused and furrowed his brows as he tried to remember her.

"Who?" he asked as he looked at her.

"She was your secretary two days ago" Myra replied before heaving her shoulders up and down. "Don't tell me your fired another one Seto! That's your sixth secretary this week!" she stabbed at her book before showing him.

"Well if you have an issue why don't you become my secretary then? Oh wait you're at school and you have no skills in that department" he snapped before shaking his head as he went back to typing.

"Coming from a kid who's working as head of a gaming company" she replied with a raised brow. Looking at the note he paused.

"Touché" he muttered darkly before shaking his head once more. "Alright fine, deal with these papers and see what you can make of them then" he gestured to five files located on the desk to his right. Curious she looked at them before making her way over towards the pile, plucking one out of the pile she looked at it for five minutes.

"Are your sales correct? It seems like you're losing money here" She gestured to a part in the grid which involved certain dates, startled he shot a look at the paper before taking it from her hands. After examining it properly he grabbed his phone with a furious look on his face.

"Get the head of finance on the phone now" Seto had said in a deathly low voice that meant someone was in trouble. It was then that they had found out a worker had been embezzling money and created a fake report to try and cover up what he had been doing. Something Seto was surprised that Myra had picked up.

"I hate maths but I still know how to read you know" she had said with a look that left him wanting to scowl but knew he deserved it for acting like she was dumb.

Now seeing the time was half eleven Myra was able to leave only to hear that Seto wanted her to come and check his reports often to make sure there were no inconsistences. To prove it he had asked for her number while she received his in return.

"Looks like your game of bluff is working out to be beneficial" Marium mused with a soft chuckle.

"But he doesn't know that" Myra rolled her eyes with a playful smile until she spotted a fountain. "So, do you want to walk about today since Yugi's going to be busy today?" Myra asked before feeling relief.

"That I would appreciate Myra… it's been stifling at home and I think training has left me uncomfortable. Not that I'm complaining but it gives me bad memories of being unable to leave home when I was younger" Myra's smile slipped as she stopped walking.

"Marium, your father's different remember. He didn't hurt you after the man showed up and stopped him"

"I know! I know that the pharaoh had saved me, I'll never forget his kindness even if it was because he knew my mother. But… there's so much I can take before I become uneasy, first the incidents involving the puzzle and now there are rare hunters running about taking people's cards. Making the lives of others a nightmare, I don't feel safe… almost as if someone is watching" Marium said now looking more vulnerable to Myra's dismay.

"We have Ra and Rosaline, they'll keep an eye on us" Myra said only to feel Marium's surprise.

"Rosalina? As in-?"

"Your duel spirit" Myra smiled "Yesterday she came to me when I was mediating and said she would stay with us" Myra soon took out a card from her card case and showed an emotional Marium the fairy card.

"I… I can't believe it… I thought she died when I did" Marium choked while placing her hands to her face.

"She never left you, she's your guardian and they stay for life" Myra grinned before pocketing the card, spying the fountain she sat down "Now, take time off. I'll be inside sleeping since I know that you'll want your space okay?" Myra signed causing Marium to feel relief and happiness.

"Thank you Myra… this means a lot to me, truly you have-actually you do but I am grateful" Marium closed her eyes before opening them to see she was now sitting on the edge of the fountain, tears formed in her eyes as relief filled her heart and body. Feeling Myra retreating to her room Marium relaxed and admired the scenery before her.

"Late! I can't believe I am late!" Yugi cried as he ran while placing his blue jacket on over a short sleeved black shirt.

"What are you late for? Yami asked with a confused look only to blanch as Yugi ran in the road while avoiding cars who were close to hitting him.

"Yugi slow down or you're going to hurt yourself!" Yami snapped but it was on death ears.

"Sorry Pharaoh but can you stay in my mind until I call you please?" Yugi pleaded "I can't run and talk at the same time" Yugi added with a weak smile as he tried to use one hand to button up his jacket, his mind also went to the threat his mother had made about the style he had used and knew she would carry out on it. For good reason. Surprised Yami retreated back inside his mind and waited, Yugi now felt at ease knowing that the spirit wouldn't know what he was up to. Spying a rail that went down towards the fountain he grabbed it and jumped while going over the rail before landing on his hands and knees. Once on the floor he shot off but hoped that he still had time left.

"If I remember correctly the fountain is-ah ha!" Yugi mentally cheered as he spotted the fountain and Marium who was relaxing with sun's rays lightly touching her while her hair was in a braid that rested on her right chest. As he looked at her he felt almost as if he was looking at the painting Myra had been doing involving the spirit.

"Found you" Yugi smiled as he walked until he was at respectable distance that would allow Yami to see.

"Okay pal, now it's your turn" Yugi said before the puzzle glowed.

Blinking Yami looked round in shock now realizing that he was in a different area.

"H-Hey Yugi! What is wrong with you?! Why are you bringing me here? There's no duel and I mean it! If you're setting me up with anyone-" Yami froze from his rant as he saw Marium staring at him with surprise filled eyes, staring at him in alarm she watched him gulp before scratching the back of his head with his left hand.

"H-Hi" Yami said now feeling uneasy about seeing her, seeing her eyes narrow slightly she stood up and walked away causing him to panic.

"Hey Rina wait a minute!" Yami called as he ran after her.

"I have nothing to say to you Yami, so go away" She said sharply, sensing he was about to grab her hand she pulled them away just in time before he could stop her.

"I want to talk Rina, please just for a few minutes" Yami said now feeling his stomach tighten from how upset she was, how did he not know that she would be upset? Of course she was and he had just ignored how she felt, if the roles had been reversed even he would have felt hurt by what she been put through. "Rina please, I am sorry I didn't want Téa to be upset with Yugi over a misunderstanding" Yami explained.

"And it's okay to just up and leave? Not one word to me before running after another woman?" she snapped while she stopped to glare at him, not caring that they would be attracting an audience.

"It's not like that Rina" Yami replied now feeling rotten, why was she acting like this? There were no feelings between him and Téa, he didn't see her that way and yet his feelings for Rina were conflicted without him knowing why. Just this left him thinking he had met her before, had he hurt her somehow back then?

"Men always say that, oh it's not like that then what Yami? Explain to me, explain how you didn't look me in the face nor say a single word. While I tease you, you went to kiss me only then you were caught by her you ran right after her. Now tell me how this doesn't look bad? Why didn't you just let them sort it out?" she spat crossly.

"Because the last thing I want is to damage their friendship over something like this" Yami explained loudly.

"Téa knows Yugi wouldn't kiss Myra, how stupid can you be Yami?" Marium threw her arms up in the air "Trust me, I know exactly what is going on and believe me when I say that I refuse to take part in this farce of a triangle. I will not be treated like that, I know I am better than that" Marium snapped before walking away from a stunned Yami. He soon spotted some giving him cold looks while some made comments about insensitive he was towards her.

Biting his lip Yami was left feeling helpless, what could he say to prove that he wasn't leading her on or that he never saw Téa that way? How did it come to this?

"I'm sorry... this is my fault, please... please come back! I'll do anything, just... open your eyes please!" Yami's body shook as he remembered the sudden vision he had back at the shop before St. White's day. Seeing the blood, hearing a broken cry that sounded like his to his own and feeling guilt, the dread of knowing that someone had died but why did he have to feel guilty? Did he kill someone?

The thought left him sick and scared.

"No… no I didn't kill anyone. I'm sure I didn't" Yami shook his head and ran after Marium who tried to avoid the crowded areas due to dueling. Spotting her he swallowed thickly until he took a step towards her, immediately the area changed to a room filled with blood while a body wearing a white dress laid on the floor in a pool of their own blood. The top of the dress right where the heart was had been stained leaving Yami wanting to drop on his knees and cry. Why was he seeing this? What did this mean.

"-ium! –i-m! No what happened?! Why? Who did this?!" Yami's terror filled voice entered his ears as he stared at the body. "Who did this?!" loud angry screams had left the voice's lips as he slowly walked towards the body. The face to his confusion was unable to be seen, almost as if the face was purposely being blocked from his vision. What happened to this person? Why would someone do this? Yami's eyes scrunched up shut as he tried to focus on the voices around, but it sounded like annoying flies that kept buzzing in his ears and would not settle long enough for him to hear anything until one thing entered his ears.

"Marium please wake up! Please I'll do anything, just don't die! Please I'll do anything just don't… please don't leave me" Yami froze as he saw a version of himself cradling a lifeless body of a faceless woman. Tears streamed down the male's face as he wept with his face on the crook of her neck, not caring if the blood was soaking him at all. Not when she had just been killed. How long had she been left alone? Did no one hear her screaming for help? Had she screamed for help? Just the thought of her being powerless to the attack broke the other Yami while the Yami who was watching felt indescribable pain fill his entire soul. Feeling tears well up in his eyes Yami forced his hands to his ears in order to push away the vision, it… it's not real, it's not happening now and even if it had. There was nothing he could do to stop it so why was he seeing this now? Did something trigger this?

A hand jolted him out of trance causing him to look up and see a semi concerned Marium looking at him. Realising that he was on his knees he looked down to see the grass partly soaking his trousers but he cared not. Not after what he saw.

"What's wrong?" Marium asked sternly as she observed him before trying to peer into his mind in order to see what was going on.

"I saw something…" Yami said in a neutral tone that sounded almost lifeless to her surprise.

"What… was it about?" she asked as she observed his lost expression.

"Death…" Marium went cold as she stared at him with mixed emotions, what had he seen? Peering into his memories she saw the area in his mind room had twisted and become covered in blood in various parts of the area causing her to pull back. Seeing his broken look left her biting her lip.

"Get up, moping about it won't solve anything. What's done is done" she muttered bluntly as she helped him up and guided him to a bench.

"I… I didn't save her back then" Yami said in a neutral tone that left her surprised.

"Pardon?" Marium blinked at him rapidly not believing her ears.

"She died because of something I did, I left her alone and she was killed… why did I do that?" Yami muttered faintly causing shock to run through her body.

"No way… he couldn't have remembered that! The spirits told me that part was locked away because he couldn't bear to relive that day as it kept entering his mind. So what caused it?" she mentally panicked but kept her composure.

"Did I truly save Egypt years ago?" Yami slowly released an emotionless chuckle that left her frowning "how could I even accomplish that when I couldn't save one person?"

SLAP!

Yami froze and held his cheek while his eyes remained stunned by her bold move.

"Grow up and face the facts Yami!" She snapped causing him to look at her from the corner of his eye. "You did save Egypt but there are things even we're unable to stop. Death is a part of life just as much as living. One cannot exist without the other so snap out of it because if you don't, more people will die and then can you live with yourself?" Marium said sharply as she stood up and glared at him. Yami stared at her with helpless eyes before his eyelids became heavy enough to make him look down, what could he do? Whoever this Marium was to him? He had let her down, yes he had no idea how but just knowing that he had caused it crippled him.

Seeing that he wasn't going to see reason she groaned and turned her back to him, shaking her head she turned to look at him before pulling his head towards hers.

"I can't believe I'm doing this… why is it that he always listens after I kiss him?" she berated him mentally before feeling his lips on hers, Yami's mind went blank as he kissed her without hesitation. Pulling her onto his lap he kept his arms around her middle while his back was against the bench. The kiss felt like he was drinking water and it had brought him back to his senses, the kiss left him feeling like he could do anything and yet forget about the bad things that had happened. It left him feeling numerous emotions, none that were bad at all but instead gave him the strength to move forward. It was like he was… home?

Parting from the kiss Marium stared at him with a half lidded eyes as panted heavily.

"Snapped out of it yet idiot?" she muttered while he stared at her with a wordless expression, some of his hair shielded his eyes but he paid no heed. Instead he moved his head until the bridge of his nose rested on the crook of her neck just near her shoulders leaving Marium startled by the sudden change of behaviour.

"Forgive me… I wasn't myself when I blacked out" he murmured softly while his breath fanned on her causing her skin to gain goosebumps.

"I gathered" she said dryly but allowed them to stay like this for a bit, she relished in the warm air that blew past. Not caring if it moved her hair from time to time, Yami however looked at the moving hair, using his thumb and forefinger he took a lock and began to examine it. It felt very soft and silky as he touched the tresses delicately.

"I am truly sorry for what I did to you on St. White's Day, it was insensitive of me to leave you like that" Yami murmured softly before hearing a light hum coming from Marium who sighed.

"What's done is done… I understand" she forced the last part in hopes of dropping the subject now, not that it didn't hurt her to see him with other women but if that was his decision she had to deal with it. After all it wasn't uncommon for Pharaohs to have a harem for all intensive purposes, however Yami like his father had chose not to which left the kingdom in a series of uproars at how they would just reject the offers. Even Marium was left baffled but relieved that she didn't have to deal with other women gaining his affections, but it didn't make her feel anymore relaxed when the nobles would gossip about either her or him. Making nasty comments about how she had enchanted the king to only go after her. Not that it was true at all, if anything she found him when he had snuck out the palace. For reasons that changed both their lives for good and ill.

"No…" Yami shook his head "I should have took your feelings into account as well, I don't know you and yet… I feel as if I do. It's really hard to explain" Yami added weakly causing her to almost shake her head at how he was acting, slowly he tried to compose himself before looking up at her with eyes that left her confused, what was he trying to say?

"I… I feel something towards-"

"Hey Yug what are you-?" Marium and Yami quickly spotted Joey, Tristan, Téa and Solomon making their way towards them. All looked as if they had been ruining to the pair's confusion.

"Joey?" Yami cried in shock not believing what he was seeing. What was everyone doing here? However hearing Yami's words caused Marium to look at him in shock not caring about the audience.

"Really? Boys now?!" Marium scoffed as she stood up and slapped Yami hard causing the four who were watching to wince at how bad that slap must have hurt due to how loud it sounded in their ears. Standing up she stormed away leaving a stunned Yami rooted on the chair, he soon placed a hand to the ruby red part of his face while his eyes were left completely wide from what he had experienced.

"Hey Yugi are you okay? Wait Yami what happened to Yugi?" Tristan asked now realising that it was actually Yami instead of Yugi who had been with the Myra look alike.

"That hurt!" Yami wanted to cry from the pain but found himself unable to do so, instead he looked at Marium's retreating figure and shot out of the bench.

"Rina! Please stop this is just a big misunderstanding!" Yami called as he ran after her as she quickened her pace.

"NO! Go away!" Marium snapped causing the group to wince at how angry she sounded.

"Nice going Joey, you made her mad" Tristan muttered causing Joey to glare.

"Me?! It was grandpa who saw them" Joey replied crossly.

"Oh yeah?" Tristan glared back. "Who suggested to go see what they were up to?"

"I only saw because I saw Téa looking at something" Solomon commented as he saw a sad Téa watching the pair who had left, seeing her expression left Solomon wanting to sigh at how bad this was. This was definitely a love triangle and he was sure that it was not going to end well.

"I think we might have ruined something important there kids…" Solomon muttered softly causing the trio to look at him.

"What do you mean?" Joey asked before Tristan clicked.

"No way! Seriously?!" Tristan cried in alarm while Solomon winced weakly as he to realised what had happened. If it was a moment between the pair and they ruined it… heaven knows how bad this would reflect for them later on.

"Rina please wait" Yami cried as he tried to follow her but she turned a corner, to his dismay he ended up bumping into two people who glared at him.

"Watch it" one hissed as they resumed walking. Rubbing his arm Yami frowned at them before going towards the corner Marium had gone through. Seeing that she wasn't around he started running.

"Rina? Rina where are you?" Yami asked before pausing.

"And just what do you two think you're doing? Up to no good I bet!" Marium's harsh tone alerted him that something was going on.

"And what makes you think that I would be up to no good princess?" came a voice that Yami immediately recognised- the evil spirit of the ring.

"Don't princess me dark spirit!" Marium said sharply. "I sensed you were doing something bad, don't give me that stupid reply" blinking Yami kept close.

"All we are doing is talking, I'm surprised that you would even assume the worst" said a voice left Yami bristling in horror.

"Marik is here?!" It took a lot for Yami not to get involved but remembered how she had ways of taking care of herself.

Marium scoffed as she folded her arms, her eyes narrowed before creating a barrier to stop Yami from listening in.

"Don't take me for a fool Marik, you've changed compared to when I first met you all those years ago in Egypt… your soul's become darker. What a waste of a good lineage, I guarantee Isis would be turning in her grave just from seeing this" Marium spat causing Marik to glare.

"And you know who I am?" Marik challenged causing her to chuckle.

"Of course I do Tomb Keeper" this shocked Marik while Bakura smirked at the pair, deep down he was seething in rage from being once again thwarted by her. It was as if she knew where he was and what he was doing to his anger. Hearing his thoughts left Marium wanting to mock him but restrained, no her attention was towards Marik.

"You're suppose to be guarding the Pharaoh's tomb from darkness and here you are- associating yourself with the main evil who tried to take him down years ago. Frankly seeing you rebelling at first left me just thinking trapped kids would be bound to lash out, only now…" her eyes narrowed "you're being unreasonable and selfish. Your poor sister and brother, just how many more people must suffer from your acts? Even I am horrified to see you behave like this" Marium added with hardened eyes, Marik glared crossly but kept the rod on his trouser belt.

"And how have we met?" Marik asked with a guarded look, Marium hearing this released a mock laugh as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Myra" Marik froze from hearing her voice, seeing the tanned male's reaction piped the dark spirit's interest. "So you do remember her?" Marium asked coldly.

Marik took a step back not believing his eyes.

"M-Mar-My lady?!" Marik screamed in terror as images of a cave in entered his mind, a girl with short black hair to his dismay had become a victim of a falling through the floor as the cave started to break down. Marik remembered being screamed at by his father and severely punished, the whip lashes and slaps that came from his father burned inside his mind until one day the same girl staggered into his home startling the family. Despite the bloody arms, legs and right cheek, her legs shook as she walked towards the pair while holding a golden box taking the father by surprise. But Marik remembered the words his father had mentioned, for they were fused into his mind.

"Forgotten Queen of Heaven" what that meant confused Marik for his father did not tell him anything, nor did he explain. Instead his father brushed him off and told him to forgot what he heard while getting the injured girl treatment with whatever items they had that could heal her.

Marium seeing his reaction huffed, staring at Bakura she waved her hand teleporting the now angry spirit away.

"I have no need to give that fool more ammo" she muttered before staring at Marik coldly. "So I take it that you now realise who I am?" she said firmly while her head remained high.

"But… you're suppose to be dead! No one said that you were coming back! Only the Pharaoh-"

"What? He was suppose to be the only one coming back? Don't make me laugh, if you heard of the children that were left behind then you know that my soul went into a deep sleep, always aware whenever the pendent had been completed. Always waiting until the time for me to truly reawaken had come to pass" Marium added sharply as she took a step towards him, Yami was unable to hear something she made sure of due to her barrier. So to him she was just threatening someone over something he had no idea about, something that gave her relief.

"So? What are you going to do to me? Punish me for going against your husband?" Marik sneered but she just shrugged.

"No… he'll defeat you, that will be my punishment towards you" she added with a shake of her head. "You'll be begging me for help but as you know, what goes around comes around" she said sweetly before waving her hand, this time Marik screamed in fear and fell backwards causing him to hit the floor. However nothing happened causing her to smirk.

"I'm no the same nice queen that helped ruled Egypt, no that queen died due to the cruelty inflicted on her. I'm not vengeful but I will not hesitate to bite when provoked so enjoy Ra while you can" she turned her back to him "he'll not hesitate to turn his back towards a traitor, like me he despises them with a passion… so say your final good byes to Odion" she hinted causing his face to go pale.

"LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS!" Marik stood up now shaking in fear but her expression froze him to the spot.

"Hmm? Didn't you already include him? After all I know you're going after allies of mine and by the way-" Marik screamed and choked as she used her powers to lift him up by the neck and hissed a comment that left him now scared for not only his life but Odion's as well.

"Remember that… touch what's mine and I won't hesitate to slit your throat" she warned, once she dropped him she walked away in anger. No one touched her family and got away with it. Now that the barrier was gone Yami tried to find Marium but saw nothing, no Marik or Marium to his worry.

"Where did she go?" Yami said before going towards the only exit she could have gone to, to his relief he spotted her walking through the semi empty street which was thanks to the tournament.

"Rina wait please stop running away from me" Yami called as he managed to catch up to her, grabbing her wrist he forced her to stop causing her to groan and glare at him.

"What now?" Marium snapped, Yami stare at her with sad eyes while he tried to think of what to say.

"Meet me in my spirit room" Yami blurted out before she could speak, blinking in surprise she could only stare at him.

"And just how can I do that?" she asked while trying to get out of his hold but he refused to budge.

"You… you find away can't you?" Yami said now grasping on straws "I saw you enter my spirit room before you slapped me" hearing this left her raising a brow at how attentive he was.

"Why should I?" Marium asked bluntly.

"I want to speak to you there without anyone interfering" Yami replied now feeling his shoulders slump, he was getting tired of being interrupted and for the fact she was running away from him.

Marium however narrowed her eyes at him, her running? Yes she was being extra sensitive but it wasn't her fault! After what she went through, the grieving and loss. She hadn't just lost him but she was denied from ever seeing her babies. Babies that she had sent to Isis just seconds before she had been murdered, babies that she had been denied to watch grow up. Not knowing how Egypt was fairing after her untimely death. She had been almost twenty one when she died, three years away from either surviving or dying. However to her bitterness the curse had killed her anyways- by bringing an assassin to end her. Her mind now went to Myra who to her dismay was also a victim of the curse, knowing that Myra could die at anytime scared Marium deeply. She didn't want to part with her knowing that it would mean an even larger target would be put on Myra's back, but seeing Yami looking desperate left Marium wanting to give in but where was the best place to go?

"Fine… we'll go to the Game Shop, once I get a circle made will I try to enter your mind. I will not leave Myra outside for bad people to grab her" Marium said not giving away any hints of what she knew, staring at her for a bit Yami soon nodded in agreement.

"I understand" Yami replied softly before they began to walk towards the Game Shop.

Nodding at Lily who was at the counter Marium went up the stairs but kept the door open for Yami who thanked her, the pair walked up the stairs silently. Part of Yami wanted her to see stone tablet and yet knew not to push her, not when things were already unstable between them.

Grabbing candles after entering the room Lily used to train she began to light them up after creating a large circle that would allow the pair to sit in without knocking the candles over, now satisfied that the curtains were closed she sat down and waited for Yami to join her. Yami looked at the circle and entered with a worried look, soon the male could feel almost as if he had stepped into a bubble.

"Sit down Yami, I'm not getting any younger" she said dryly, something the pair would have found humorous given that they were already dead. However given the reason why they were in the barrier removed his reason to laugh.

"Close your eyes and I'll try and enter your mind, but you have to be there otherwise I cannot enter" Marium explained, nodding stiffly Yami closed his eyes and allowed his soul to be where his soul room door was located. Yami soon opened his eyes and saw Marium now standing before him in a white dress and white flat shoes.

"Well let's go in then" Marium gestured to the door, this made Yami jump now remembering why she was even in Yugi's mind. Looking at where Yugi's door was he saw the door was closed which encouraged him to hastily open his door. Now letting her in he closed the door behind him and sighed heavily. So far so good.

Looking at Marium soon saw his soul room containing various blood stains on various parts of the area to his dismay.

"Someone tampered with your mind" she said blankly alarming him to the news.

"But who?" Yami asked only to see Marium wave her hand before the blood stains left the area. Watching this Yami was left amazed if not surprised by how she just removed such stains, before Yami could speak he soon felt relief and ease which could have been the result of her influence.

"Someone who knew your puzzle would be vulnerable, but it matters not. The room is clean and purged from the ill influences. I cannot guarantee that they won't try to attack again" Marium explained before walking towards the rooms, she examined the doors and where they were with a blank look but kept her guard up. Each door was guarded and yet one door had been damaged so which one would it be?

"Rina, can we talk?" Yami asked softly as he went after Marium who paused but kept a look out for any damaged doors.

"There's a door that's damaged, be on guard if the attacker tries to try their luck again-" Marium went rigid as he cupped her face and kissed her once more, however she did not respond to his dismay but refused to let it get the best of him.

"Whenever I am with you, I am left unsure on who I am anymore. It's almost as if I know you and yet I feel as if the knowledge of you is out of my reach, it irks me deeply Rina and I don't know what to do" Yami explained as he placed his hands on her shoulders, Marium stared at him with neutral eyes.

"What do you want me to say Yami?" she asked softly.

"Who are you to me? Have we met before?" Yami asked now feeling sorrow fill his soul, Marium tilted her head to the side feeling herself grow conflicted. "Please tell me Rina, who am I to you? Why do I feel like we mean more to the other? Why does kissing you scar me? I feel like I know everything about you and yet you remain a mystery to me" Yami added.

"You don't know everything" she wanted to say in a bitter tone but refrained, it was not him that cursed her nor was he responsible for the fact she miscalculated the curse's effects. Nor did she realise how deep it would go, it didn't matter how old they were she would have died anyways and was lucky to have lasted as long as she could. Even throughout the years no cure had been found, nor the reason as to why the curse had come about. She had thought about time travelling but it would only result in damaging time for she was not meant to meddle. Even the secrets of her mother had been lost to her to her dismay, the one person who could have helped was stolen from her before anything she could truly understand what was going on. Pain filled her as she remembered her younger brother fighting to live as the curse plagued his body leaving him bed ridden, hardly able to leave his bed nor could he work. Her sister's youngest daughter had been stillborn before she could take her first breaths of life. Even Marium's eldest had died young due to an illness that stopped her heart at the tender age of eight, only the illness had affected her only son leaving the youngest daughter in grief.

"It was no wonder she wanted to end it all" Marium mused softly before looking at him.

"Even if we did know each other Yami… I cannot tell you" Marium said as she looked at him, his breathing slowed as he stared at her in shock.

"Why not?" he asked now feeling dread fill him.

"Surely you should know what happens to someone who has amnesia?" he didn't and she knew it "if I told you, what are the chances of your mind remaining stable? It could damage your healing mind and cause irreversible damage. Something even I'm sure is not what you want" Marium explained calmly.

"But I want to know!" Yami said loudly as he felt desperate at how she kept dodging his questions "a yes or a no, just one answer please Rina" Yami pleaded, he was not one to beg but his mind was unsettled. He needed to know if they at least knew each other, but then that would spark more questions which would then involve more and more answers. Like why was she not telling him? Yes his mind would not be able to take it but it was better than not knowing the truth. Watching him she sighed.

"Y…" she nodded not trusting her voice, she could not slip for his sake. Seeing her nod Yami tensed up but felt some weight fall off his shoulders. He did know her but from where? How did they meet? How close were they?

"All I can say is that you got into trouble and ended up getting being saved by me" she commented, her mind went to how they first met. They had been eight and nine at the time.

Blinking Yami nodded before placing a hand to her cheek.

"Thank you Rina, I know it's not easy but I truly want to know about my past. Anything is better than having no memories" she nodded.

"Let it come naturally, forcing it would only hurt your soul more than you would know" she said in a wise tone that left him nodding.

"I understand" he said before allowing the quiet area to help him relax. "Rina…"

"Hmm?" she blinked at him.

"Back at the park, there was something that I wanted to-"

"I found it" Marium released herself from his arms and began running, surprised he followed her until he saw what caught her attention. Immediately Yami grew sick as he saw blood staining a broken door, Marium's eyes hardened as she entered the room.

"Stay there, I'm going to deal with this room" she said sternly.

"But it's one of the doors to my memories" Yami retorted.

"Someone's tampered with it causing you to see something that would hurt you, I need to fix it" she said now pushing him away and closed the door in front of him causing him to stare at the bloodied door with helpless eyes.

"Why you though?" Yami muttered softly as he watched the door with dread.

Marium approached the center of the room to see Yami in Egyptian clothes hugging her dead form, seeing him weeping left her furious at how someone was willing to break his mind when this memory was suppose to be sealed shut so it could not be used to hurt him again. Using her powers the room slowly morphed until it became an empty room that contained empty floors and clean walls. All at once the area went silent leaving her relieved that the memory was now sealed properly.

"It's too soon for you to see this, not after what you went through before" she said softly before opening the door. Yami seeing her in one piece caused him to sigh in relief.

"Are you okay?" he asked while pulling her away from the room, once away he closed the door shut.

"It has been sealed, nothing will leak out of it again but if it was left unattended for long it would have affected the other doors to your memoires" Hearing this left him worried. "We were lucky" was all she said before they walked away from the door, what they didn't see however was the blood slowly glowing in a sickly green colour before vanishing.

Yami immediately woke up late into the night only to now have taken over Yugi's body, he shook as tears welled up in his eyes from what he saw. The vision he saw now began to plague his mind and remained vivid… too realistic for his mind to take, but how? Rina had made sure it would not come back? But now as the images and scenes entered his mind, some things became more clearer than before. One image however did leave him on edge and it took all his self control not to get out of bed and see if Rina was okay… that is if that was her true name. Yes… he knew that it was an alias but the name never did sit well with him and just seeing a more horrific, vivid version of his dream confirmed it.

Rina was the dead female in his dream and if he heard his past self's words correctly then he was sure he knew what her real name was.

"Marium…" Yami's brows furrowed as he tested the name on his tongue, to his shock it did feel familiar and it left him more uneasy knowing that she had been murdered. And he had been powerless to prevent it due to the fact he had sent her away. Something he was stunned to find out.

She had been the one person he failed to protect and what's worse, he still truly didn't know who she was to him but he did have a feeling that they had been close. Now as he thought about it, the flirting and playful banter between them, the kissing that caused him to go red in the face and his heart to beat rapidly as he remained close to her, the guilt of hurting and seeing her cry. He was sure now, they had been close before so did that mean she truly knew who he was? If so how much did she know of him? Didn't it upset her that he knew nothing about her?

Although… just thinking about it that made him smile bitterly. Of course it would, no wonder she was always distancing herself and getting upset. So the main question was who was she to him and why did she return?

There wasn't much he could do except maul on what he knew, he had to stop the evil that was threatening to destroy the world. Only then could he focus on asking her questions about their past.

Yami winced as images of her dead bloody form entered his mind once more, he wouldn't tell her this time. No she did enough for him, now it was his turn to tough it out until he could find out why this was happening.

What will he do now?
