"Is it because of mum? Because I look like her?! Because if so... I don't want to look like her..." Yami rode back with a broken look on his face as he relived not only Yugi's capture but also endured the voices of the girl who continued to echo in his mind.

"I… I'm not doing this on purpose… really… I didn't mean to…" Yami muttered as his eyes looked dead inside which worried Joey, Tristan and Duke deeply.

"Poor pharaoh" Joey muttered "I know that he's taking the loss hard, I mean yeah we lost Yug but this is really bad"

"He's losing it…" Tristan said now growing more worried as they spotted the caravan in the distance, dread filled the trio while Yami allowed the horse to guide him back.

"THEN I HATE HER!" the girl screamed angrily, Yami as he heard pain in her voice wanted to cry even as he could also imagine that tears were streaming down the girl's eyes from being so hurt by his actions.

"I'm sorry… please don't hate her… it was me, it was all my fault… I sent her away like I sent him away…" Yami muttered faintly causing Joey to look at Yami oddly.

"Who's her?" Joey asked now filing this for later, once they arrived they saw the Rebecca, Marium, Téa and the professor standing outside the door to the caravan.

"What happened?" Téa asked now noticing the sombre mood from the approaching males.

"It's bad, Raphael challenged Yami to a duel and won" Joey said weakly as he and Tristan got out the car with Duke, Yami meanwhile looked down after getting off his horse and held the reins tightly. Marium as she looked at Joey then turned to look at Yami.

"What happened?" Marium asked sternly as she slowly approached Yami. "What did you do?" however Yami refused to meet her eyes.

"I… Yugi gave up his soul to save mine, it was my fault for playing the seal and now… he's gone" Marium's stomach plummeted as she stared at him in horror, her hands flew to her face while a rush of emotions filled her.

"No…" Marium's voice shook while Rebecca walked up to Yami so she was face to face.

"Please tell me this is a joke? That you're lying, Yugi can't be gone" Rebecca's voice shook as she tried not to break down. Marium however took a step back as grief filled her, how could this have happened.

"I'm sorry Rebecca, I failed him" Yami said softly.

"Just like I failed her" Yami's voice was filled with regret and self loathing.

"You're lying! Yugi can't be gone! Why are you still here?! It should have been you! It should have been you!" Rebecca screamed as she banged her hands on his chest to which he did not respond or do anything to defend himself.

"Rebecca that's not going to help" Téa said while trying to pull the distressed girl off of Yami.

"It should have been you that was taken away not Yugi! I hate you!" Rebecca screamed loudly before running into her room so she could cry, Téa soon followed leaving the professor to follow afterwards. Marium however remained in her own world while feeling Myra's emotions that were filled with grief and sadness, even now she was sure that Myra wanted to be alone. Something she too desperately wanted but had to stay around in case things got ugly.

Yami fell to the floor as soon as Joey punched him.

"Like now…" Marium muttered before approaching the pair.

"Enough now! You're only doing what Darts wants and that's to divide everyone!" Marium said while trying to remain calm as possible.

"She's right Joey" Tristan said looking conflicted but was glad that she was trying to keep everyone in line. "Attacking the pharaoh will only just add to more problems, so let's cool it okay. First thing we need to do is get help"

"Yeah…" Joey muttered before going inside leaving Marium with Yami, staring at him she shook her head and walked inside leaving him alone. Something that even he knew that he deserved to his dismay.

"Stop shutting me out!" the girl screamed once more into his mind.

"Please don't use that card" Yugi pleaded even after being shoved to one side but was ignored.

"I'm sorry… I'm so sorry I failed you all" Yami sank to his knees and began to cry.

Marium as she heard him crying shook her head as she tried not to weep, he was gone. How could this have happened? It was impossible and yet it happened. So what caused this to occur?

"I'll ask him later, once everyone settles down" Marium muttered feeling grief continue to fill her once more, losing Yugi to her was like losing a child once again which burned her deeply and the worst part was that she had been more close to him then her own.

"Myra I know you want to be alone but I can't take this… I need to be alone as well, so please" Marium pleaded as tiny sobs left her throat, the pendent slowly started to glow to her relief.

"Thank you" Marium's voice shook violently before she swapped places with Myra who was red in the face from crying, as she entered the area where the others were no one said anything as they saw how this was affecting her as well. Who could blame her for being upset anyways? Even Téa who was skeptical of Myra handed her a cup of water and tissues to which Myra nodded her thanks before slumping on the chair.

"Let it out" Joey said softly as he saw that she was trying to keep it together.

"You can cry, we're not going to judge" Tristan added before seeing tears run down her face. A mute cry left her lips before she dropped the cup and placed her hands over her eyes, watching her as her shoulders shook violently Joey pulled her into a hug knowing that it reminded him of what happened back when he was reunited with his sister before her operation. Thinking about that left Joey thinking about how well the pair treated each other and the more he thought about it, the more sad he grew now realizing the similarities with him and his sister to Myra and Yugi.

"Ya really care about him a lot, but it's okay to cry ya know" Joey said wisely to which she hugged Joey tightly from her seat, not caring that his shirt was wet he sighed but allowed her to let it out.

After Myra had stopped crying she immediately went to sleep leaving the others to try and contact Seto who immediately had a fit over Yami losing and hung up.

"Looks like we've got to find our own way back" Joey muttered.

"If Myra was awake, no doubt she would have got him to help but there's no point getting her involved when she's sleeping" Duke said before Joey and Tristan gave him a look. "What I'm stating a truth here"

"Still don't go speaking like that, Yugi and Myra are really close" Tristan muttered coldly causing Téa to tense up slightly.

"Yeah… like siblings" Joey added before pausing as the group looked at him oddly. "What just stating what I can see, don't tell me no one noticed how they acted" Yami went quiet before pausing as he remembered how protective Yugi was towards Myra even when she got into trouble or was hurt, Téa looked at the sleeping girl guiltily for remembering how she acted at times towards Myra who no doubt wanted to avoid her despite the fact Yugi wanted them to be friends.

"Of course… why was I that blind to not see it?" Téa berated herself before paying attention to what they were going to do now.

"We should head off today, the sooner we can stop this creep the sooner we can get Yugi's soul back" Tristan commented.

Marium sat on a chair away from the group once they took their seats on the train, a sigh left her lips as she kept an eye on the scenery until she saw Yami walk away from the corner of her eye. Sensing his turmoil she got up and followed him, ignoring the ones who were looking at her retreating figure.

Once she spotted him did she stop a few spaces from him. Marium looked at him with conflicting eyes, what could she say? She wanted the truth and yet she was now scared to ask. To say this was the first time he did something so foolish was an understatement, this was horrific even for him to do, he never did something like this. This was not who he was.

"Tell me the truth, do you think that I am evil?" Yami asked as he leaned on the wall while sitting on the floor, his knee was near his chest and his arm rested on his knee. His face showed that he was so distraught that he even refused to look at her due to the shame of what he had done. Sighing Marium swallowed thickly as she stood near the door after taking a few steps towards him. There was no doubt she was furious and upset but this was no time to play the blame game, people's lives were at risk and Yugi's sacrifice would have been in vain if Yami gave up so easily.

"To be honest" Marium said slowly as she moved in order to sit opposite him while resting her legs near her thigh, she wanted to punish and tell him off but didn't find it in her to do so. It was a strange thing in itself. "You made a mistake Yami, it doesn't truly make you a bad person. He probably backed you into a corner so you reacted" Marium explained, Yami remained unsatisfied by her answer. Marium immediately sensed that he agreed with her comment which confirmed her suspicions, which was step one to her in finding out the truth after all people act out when they're cornered like rats in a cage.

"I failed Yugi, just like I failed to stop you from being killed and I even failed that girl who keeps haunting me whenever I cause people harm. I never seem to stop making costly mistakes! Why do I never learn?!" Yami yelled as he berated himself but did not see her stunned expression. Marium swallowed his words thickly as if they were acid in her throat, something she did not want to do anytime soon but she had to push past this. He was lashing out and in pain like everyone had done only he had been close to Yugi the most, something she understood with Myra.

"Things happen, it doesn't make you evil just… either misguided or clouded by the need to be impulsive. That seal is evil Yami, anyone who held it would be affected... you are not perfect, you are prone to faults like everyone else. So stop letting everyone dictate your life and chose what you think is right" she added lightly causing him to leer at her weakly but she did not let it affect her, instead she tried to remain void of emotions in order to keep herself calm and collected. This had to stop, this blaming game in truth was getting on her nerves and she was not about to let him have his pity party linger anymore than it already has. She missed out on it when their children were suffering so she could not kick him out of it but she would not let him have his tantrum now.

"How can you say that? I caused you to die when I lost my temper-"

"You were stressed and for good reason" Marium interrupted sternly shutting him up enough to look at her. "Now I don't know how much you remember but this non stop blame game is not going to help anyone, Yugi is still alive. Yes his soul is held captive so that means we still have time. So get your head together. He is counting on you to save him" Marium snapped sharply causing him to bite his lip but not enough to draw blood.

"How do you not hate me after all that I have done to you Marium?" Yami choked as he looked down with guilty eyes, fear of seeing her reaction filled him so he didn't move a muscle. Would she slap him for the pain he caused her? Even now after remembering her telling him and the psychotic man about what her father had done to her, in more ways than one he had been worse. He had led her to her death whether it was accidental or not.

Marium however was stunned at the fact he called her by her name- her real name.

"H-how long have you known?" Marium asked while trying to remain calm which was something he had to mentally applaud her for, given that he would find it hard to keep it together if roles had been reversed and yet he had kept it secret from everyone including Yugi for her. One who was close to him as well but he had without meaning to pushed away and shut him out so he would not find out what he knew.

"The day you first went to my spirit room and locked the door, I saw a memory of a woman laying dead on the floor, this time I could hear and see it more clearly than I last saw the memory. My past memories had said your name only this time I saw you in more detail" Yami explained in a hollow tone that left her nervous at what else he saw.

"Funny thing is that I lost not just you that night did I?" Yami said bitterly after releasing an emotionless chuckle that left her more on edge when he looked up at her allowing Marium to see self loathing and resentment on his expression.

"I-"

"I deserved to lose them, even if they did somehow appear in my life... how could I look at them knowing that I caused their mother to die? Seeing the girl look like you, I felt cheated... could you understand that?" Yami asked now feeling more resentment fill him. Marium bit her lip while her eyes hardened at how his words. Oh she knew how that felt, she could relate to her youngest given how her father treated her badly for looking like her mother. Something she didn't have any control of. Did Yami know that? She highly doubted that one bit, it made her sick and bitter from how everything turned out.

"What do you want me to say Yami? I cannot tell you anything without-" Marium said bluntly.

"Enough Marium, you sound like a broken record whenever you say that" Yami said in a numb tone causing her to glare angrily at how he was behaving.

"I am not going to sit here and be insulted Yami! I came to see you because I was worried" she snapped before standing up. Seeing that she was about to leave caused his heart to plummet and twist sharply from not just fear but guilt as well, he knew that he was pushing her away without meaning to and it was scaring him that she could get hurt again. What if someone attacked her? He wanted to scream and cry but he could not. Nothing would come out of him, he was too tired and miserable to think anymore. She was worried about him, even he knew that and no matter what would always stay by his side which was what he always took for granted to his dismay.

"No! Wait, I am sorry" Yami said now feeling guilt to fill him once more "I... I feel lost, Yugi was always there with me. He was the light that kept me pure..." Marium placed her hand on his cheek as she knelt down in front of him.

"You are good as well, you are just scarred Yami. We both are, but that doesn't mean we should lash out okay?" Marium said softly before she pecked the side of his mouth "cheer up, Yugi would never want you to be this way" she said with a shaky smile that left him staring in awe.

"How do you remain so hopeful?" He asked causing her to smile and hold his hand to which he gripped almost as if it was his only lifeline.

"Well someone has to" she commented lightly knowing that tension was running high and wanted nothing more than to help anyway she could.

"Let's find the others, then we can talk in your spirit room if you want to speak more quietly" she offered, his heart swelled at how she just understood him and always continued to support him no matter what. It left him wondering if he did truly deserve her at all, yes he had a hunch now on who she was to him but he was willing to wait until the real truth came out. For now, even if his memories were still lost to him. He was willing to start things anew with her and see where it took them.

"Thank you… Marium" Yami said meekly causing her to chuckle softly.

"Any time" she encouraged him to follow. "Oh and I want an explanation on what truly happened, before you ask we have time" she said causing him to want to dip his head low.

"I'd rather say it without anyone listening" he muttered causing her to pause. "What's wrong?"

"That's just it, no one is in the cart" Marium commented a she looked round, not noticing his face went pale.

"The others!" Yami gasped before they took off running to find the others only to yelp as the train jerked violently, Yami grabbed Marium who yelped and fell with him to the floor.

"What's going on?" Yami asked before they made their way to where another cart was in front of them. There they spotted Tristan, Joey and Téa.

"Are you both okay?" Marium asked as she stared at their spooked out expressions.

"There's no one here" Tristan yelled over the noise of the wind.

"I gathered, it must have been Darts to lure us into thinking we were safe" Marium explained before the metal connecting to two of the carts started to unlock.

"Stay where you are Téa!" Marium ordered stopping Téa from moving.

"But what about you two?" Téa asked now looking more upset and worried.

"We can handle this, right now they want Yami so I'll keep an eye on him" Marium explained their shock.

"But the seal" Joey yelled causing her to smile and show them the butterfly clip.

"Abbas wouldn't let Myra find this for nothing, it'll help trust us and stay together" Marium instructed them.

"All right… hang in there you two, we'll find you eventually" Joey replied causing her to smile.

"Myra's a psychic, if worst happens I'll ask her if she can bring a monster to life" she said before the carts went further away.

"We should get on the roof, we need to stop the train" Yami said while assessing the area.

"Shouldn't we just use the doors like any normal person?" Marium sighed as she followed him up the ladder only to pause as they spotted Weevil standing on top of the cart in front of them.

"I've been expecting you pharaoh" Weevil said before giggling with glee, something Marium wasn't too happy about.

"Weevil please get down, we need to stop the train" Marium asked softly.

"Well since you're asking… how about no" Weevil said before laughing. "Besides he and I have a score to settle, a duel to see who's soul will survive after I activate this card. Marium's eyes went wide.

"Weevil no! That card's evil" Marium cried in horror.

"Who cares, I have the power to defeat the pharaoh now" Weevil said with glee while activating the card. "Oh and I heard something interesting, apparently you don't mix well with the seal so good luck enduring the pain without anyone to help you" Weevil laughed

"Marium! Stay back, I don't want you to get hurt" Yami said causing her to frown.

"I am not leaving without you, if you think that I am just going to run you are dead wrong" Marium snapped before eyeing the seal as it started to fully complete itself.

Weevil continued to laugh before suddenly pausing as Marium just stood still but was not pushed back or disturbed by the completed seal.

"What's this?!" Weevil screamed while Marium scoffed with a smirk on her face, Yami however relaxed slightly from knowing she was okay.

"Yeah... not going to work this time, unlike you I am not envious" Marium shrugged but kept still as she stood behind the seal, the clip started to glow lightly as the wings fluttered once in her hair.

"No! No! No! NOOOO!" Darts screamed in anger from seeing it no longer affect her. "She was suppose to be effected by the seal! She should have been captured! That spirit must not be allowed to escape, how is she immune to the seal's power!" Darts tried to find any solutions before glaring at Yugi's soul.

"Raphael, do not let her come out of this alive, I want her and that girl's soul captured!" Darts demanded to Raphael who was mentally surprised by his behaviour.

"Understood Master Darts" Raphael said before leaving.

"I don't get it, what's so great about her anyways?" Valon asked with a confused look only to tense up as Darts gave him a dark look.

"She will ruin everything, if she is related to who I think she is. Then when she awakens she'll be dangerous to my plans" Darts bellowed, his mind went to a woman who was standing beside an old man and young girl. The woman had long sapphire blue hair with a diadem like headband on her head, her clothes were white with blue armour on top, in her hand was a scythe that he knew would tear souls to shreds if she willed it to. Only to his anger she wasn't alone- beside the trio were eleven people dressed up in various colours that matched their elements. Each was deadly in their own right and to make it worse, that old man had requested their help to stop him. Each resisted the Seal's power and fought back resulting in some of his solders being disintegrated. Darts remembered three knights very clearly, one who was turquoise blue that stood with the woman in sapphire blue, one who stood with the woman in red and one who stood with a male in silver. That fight despite both having equal advantages resulted in heavy loses on both sides, to his anger though her daughter made things even worse by using her sword and helped the survivors to flee on a large piece floating of land that was hidden from even his eyes to his anger. What was worse was that she too vanished only for her blood line to show up five thousand years later.

"That doesn't sound good" Valon muttered.

"I'll say" Alister agreed silently.

"Marinaaa! I should have killed you when I had the chance" Darts growled as fury filled him at how the woman who had once been his friend turned against him. "But no matter, I do have something of yours that is being fed to the Leviathan. Very soon I will get the others, it is only a matter of time" he smirked coldly

"Rex… I may not be able to understand your situation" a girl with black hair said as she approached Joey and Rex as they dueled. Startled Téa, Joey, Tristan and Rex looked at her in surprise given that they were in the middle of nowhere.

"Hey that's the girl we saw at the professor's caravan" Tristan said while Joey stared at her.

"Yeah but what is she doing here?" Joey asked with suspicious eyes since he was unsure if she was on their side or not.

"I don't know but we don't know if she is trust worthy or not" Téa said weakly.

"But this sort of thing, it is never the answer. If anything I know you're an honourable duelist unlike Weevil who lies and cheats to win, please don't do anything that you'll regret" the girl said with a sad look, Rex however growled angrily.

"You know nothing about me! Before we were big shots, he remained by my side even through the best and worst. The time we lost Duelist Kingdom we lost everything and no one wanted to know who we were, instead those who did recognise us treated us like a laughing stock" Rex said bitterly.

"Rex win or lose, dueling is about having fun. Getting to know the other and playing fairly. Winning can only give you so much before it becomes repetitive and redundant, in the end you get bored or worse hollow because no one can take you down. Then when you finally lose you would act out because you don't truly know how to deal with a loss. You see I… I had a close friend who looked unbeatable, someone who I defeated on my first try with him but then…" the girl looked away with a grudging look on her face that left Rex blinking in surprise "he made a stupid comment about me which forced us apart"

"What did he say?" Rex asked almost nervous to ask, the girl then looked at him coldly.

"You won by a fluke, you're just a girl who beat me once. You shouldn't even be leaving the house by yourself when you can't take care of yourself" the girl said coldly causing the males to wince and Téa to gasp in shock.

"That's really bad" Joey muttered while Rex frowned.

"Did you speak to him again?" Rex asked before she released a bitter laugh.

"Ran away from the sexist frick, didn't want anything to do with him. I don't care if I am a girl, I could handle myself just fine and to be put down when it was hard enough to stand on my own two feet… just low" she muttered darkly.

"I'll say" Rex commented bluntly before the girl looked at him.

"Rex, what I'm trying to say is that we have highs and lows, but they don't define us. What you do defines you, now are you going to keep going through this cycle of regret and misery or are you going to break free. Teach Weevil that it's wrong to do what he's doing, but don't let him destroy you if you know he's ruining things for you. Give him the cold truth and tell him it's either going straight or he loses you. Pure and simple" the girl said while placing her hands on her hips, a grin formed on her lips as she looked at his awed expression.

"What will it be? Will you start over?" she asked brightly.

"But… but what if I fail and mess up?" he asked weakly when he looks away.

"Then you get up and try again, fear can be an enemy or something that will push you into a right path. It's entirely up to you Rex" the girl added causing tears to run down Rex's cheeks.

"I… I don't want to do this anymore, I'm so sick of being a failure! Why? Why can't I be free from it all?" Rex cried before the seal and crystal around his neck shattered to their surprise. Seeing this the girl quietly approached Rex who's hat had fallen off as he went onto his knees and cried loudly with his hands on his eyes.

"It's okay, let it out now Rex. You're free now" the girl said kindly as she hugged him to which he responded by hugging her back, Joey, Téa and Tristan looked at the other and then at Rex weakly knowing that he truly was troubled even if he hadn't admitted it out aloud.

Marium and Yami stared in shock as Weevil tore a card in half after making a comment about Yugi and the card he was imprisoned in.

"Yugi's gone forever" Weevil said as Yami's eyes went wide from what he witnessed.

"Oh... that is low" Marium muttered coldly before raising a brow but didn't react as she saw a tell tell sign that Weevil had lied.

"You snake…" Yami hissed while Weevil laughed.

"Can't you know a joke when you hear one? That was only a useless bug card. I don't even have Yugi's card" Weevil snickered as he allowed the wind to take the shredded card pieces away causing Marium to roll her eyes and glare.

"Yeah I knew that idiot!" Marium snapped shocking the pair only for Yami it was for a brief moment as anger filled him for what Weevil had done.

"That's it... I've had it with your games Weevil! I'M SICK OF YOU!" Yami screamed taking her by surprise.

"Yami! Don't get worked up that's exactly what he wants you to do, besides that wasn't-" Marium said.

"I activate Breaker the Magical Warrior's special ability!" Yami yelled as anger continued to fill him.

"Yami…" Marium said sternly knowing that he was lashing out again.

"Big deal you can destroy a magic or trap-oh no!" Weevil screamed in shock.

"Sounds like you've realised that I aim to destroy your insect barrier" Yami replied as he glared at Weevil. "Allowing me to attack you with the poisoned butterfly that you gave me.

"Now Breaker destroy the insect barrier" Yami ordered his monster who slashed the card to pieces earning him a weak cry from Weevil.

"I told you that you would pay for that stunt" Yami said coldly while Marium folded her arms.

"Now Poison Butterfly attack his monster now!" Yami yelled allowing the butterfly to attack. "And now Breaker attack him directly!" causing Weevil to cry out in pain.

"Nice try… but looks like your turn is now over, which means Poison Butterfly will take the rest of your life points" Weevil said with a smug look on his face that had Marium staring blankly.

"Clearly he doesn't know when someone's angry, they're most likely out for blood" Marium sighed as she rolled her eyes.

"Weevil, stop now before things go too far" Marium said sternly.

"Oh? I'm so scared, there's not thing he can do! So I guess I win" Weevil grinned coldly causing her to raise a brow.

"Too bad I'm not done yet" Yami commented which made Weevil go silent.

"W-What?" Weevil stared at him in shock.

"What are you talking about both your monsters have attacked?" Weevil asked with a baffled look on his face.

"I play still play this card berserk soul" Yami showed him the card.

"What are you going to do with that?" Weevil asked as he took a step back from Yami.

"First I must throw away my entire hand" Yami replied after discarding his card. "Now I must draw cards and I must not stop until I draw a magic or trap card, meanwhile with each monster I draw I can attack you with a monster on my side of the field as long as it has fifteen hundred points or less" Yami added which meant his Breaker could attack to Marium's surprise.

"Yugi's been planning this all along" Weevil said now feeling sweat run down his brow.

"Last chance Weevil" Marium said sternly.

"Oh that depends on the card that I draw" Yami said as he cut her off, Marium's eyes went wide as she looked at Yami.

"Excuse me?! Yami I know you're angry, believe me I am too but this is not going to make things better" Marium said sharply as he drew a card.

"I've drawn Queen's knight" Yami revealed before sending the card to the graveyard which meant that his Breaker could attack earning them a scream from Weevil.

"Now for my next card" Yami showed him Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts "Looks like you're out of luck" Yami scowled as he saw Weevil now shaking, sighing Marium shook her head at the scene before her.

"This is getting childish…" she muttered bluntly, part of her wished she could break the seal so she could smack both males upside the head for their stunts but knew that she had to wait.

"I draw again, another monster" Yami said even after Weevil's points dropped to zero.

"YAMI! STOP IT!" Marium screamed but it was on death ears.

"Looks like this isn't your day is it?" Yami said while drawing another monster card. "Breaker attack him again-"

"IF YOU FINISH THAT ATTACK YAMI! I SWEAR TO LIFE I WILL NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN!" Marium's angry screams silenced Yami enough to stop, his entire arm trembled as he kept the card in his hand. "YOU HEAR ME? IT'S OVER! WE WILL BE FINISHED FOR GOOD!" Marium added angrily as she screamed at the top of her lungs, she watched Weevil's soul vanish as the seal claimed him leaving his body behind. As much as she didn't like him even he didn't deserve this.

"M-Marium…" she looked at Yami who's voice trembled in pain, tears were running down his face after he heard her words.

"NO! Look what you've done!" Marium gestured to Weevil's body, Yami froze as he took a step towards her while his hand was lifted up so he could hold her hand "Is this what you would do before? No! This is not what you're like!" she said before taking a step back and gripped her arms tightly causing the fabric to strain. Just seeing her pained look tore at his heart, this was the last thing he ever wanted to do.

"Before you were kind, gentle and even when things were bad… you never gave up, you always did the right thing but now… I don't even know who you are anymore" she said bitterly "before I accepted that the amnesia would change you somehow, but this… this is too much. You're behaving like someone else, someone who I don't want to be associated with" she added feeling bile form in her throat.

"Marium… I…" Yami tensed up as guilt filled him completely, looking at Weevil's lifeless form he turned to look at her. "I'm so sorry, I… I don't know why I did-"

"YES YOU DID!" Marium screamed which silenced him once more "You wanted to punish him! To make him suffer for what he did, I understand he pulled that stunt on us but that was no way to behave. You just… even though you won you kept drawing cards, you wanted to do this. It… it made you feel alive knowing that you could take it all out on him when really, you want to punish yourself" Marium turned to glare at him. "Well congrats on hurting him, I don't approve of his actions but the one no two things I've learned were mercy and compassion! To try and understand why my opponents were the way they are, I would never fight unless necessary and you took that to account back then" Marium said while tears ran down her face. Looking at Weevil she approached him while shrugging Yami's hands when they touched her arm.

"Don't touch me" she hissed causing him to feel sick, he watched as she held the lifeless body and looked around. "You made a promise, several in fact but you just keep breaking them. You promised me that you would stay by my side but you chose to forget everything, you… do you have any idea of how much pain I went through?" Marium turned to glare at him as her voice grew raw from pain. "Seeing the one I love behave like a complete stranger to me… course you wouldn't" Marium shook her head causing her hair to move around her neck. Yami felt his eyes grow heavy as he heard her sniffling, regardless of what she said he moved towards her. Ignoring her trying to push him away he hugged her tightly while whispering apologises that he knew she might never accept given how he acted. Even as she continued to push him away while she started to sob Yami had refused to let go knowing that he would do whatever he could to make things right again.

"I won't let go, I'm going to keep my promises once and for all" Yami muttered before she gripped his arm with her free hand, resting her head on his chest she cried more until the train moved violently causing the air to leave her lungs. However instead of allowing them to be separated Yami gripped her tightly while she kept Weevil close.

"We can't stop this fall" Marium choked as she saw the train was about to go off a cliff. Screams left their lips as they started to plummet towards the land below until light formed appeared from Marium's pocket. Without warning the trio were now levitating in the air as a pale skinned fairy like creature appeared with calm pupiless blue eyes, she wore a bluish purple dress that were petal shaped at the bottom. When Marium opened her eyes, a gasp left her lips as tears fell from her eyes the moment she recognised the creature.

"Rosalina…" Marium swallowed before a shaky smile formed on her lips, Yami looked at the creature in awe before an image of the fairy entered his mind only she was seen with a younger version of Marium.

"I… I know this fairy" Yami was left in awe as the fairy continued to levitate them while keeping her hands up. Despite looking dainty she had a assuring look that gave him hope that everything was going to be okay.

"Thank you Rosalina" Marium's voice shook with happiness as they flew down towards the ground avoiding injuries as they could. Once they were on the ground they were no longer levitating but despite that Rosalina flew around them and giggled before moving towards Marium who held her hand.

"It's always a pleasure to be with you Lil Marium although… you're not so little anymore" Rosalina giggled causing Marium to laugh while covering her hand despite her shoulders were shaking from laughing.

"Thank you truthfully Rosalina, if it weren't for you we could have ended up much worse" Marium admitted shyly.

"True… but Myra also helped, she may have called me but I appeared because you needed me. Like her, only you can summon me don't forget that" Rosalina winked before vanishing.

"Gotta go! Oh and there's three life forms ahead to the north west of here, they can help you" was all they could hear leaving the trio alone.

"Looks like we have no choice but to get there quickly" Marium said before getting up on shaky legs, she paused as Yami tried to help her.

"I'll carry Weevil, let's keep moving" Yami said before another light appeared, this time it was a small pale fairy with purple wings and a purple dress, she had long purple hair, a purple pointy witch's hat and a wooden stick which had a purple stone on top, she was also barefooted but cared not as she hovered in front of them. The small fairy giggled before lighting up her stone.

"Thanks Lil Witch of Westwick" Marium said with a small smile as she knew for a fact Myra had definitely summoned this fairy like creature.

"How did she appear?" Yami asked even after they started following.

"Even inside, Myra's been practicing her powers, she summoned Lil Witch to help us find a way toward the three who will help us.

"Is this card part of a puzzle as well?" Yami asked causing her to blink, seeing her reaction he cleared his throat shyly. "Your compass cards were parts of a puzzle that were put together, is this card similar?" Watching for a bit she sighed.

"Yes, now let's get moving. This card is a tricky trickster if we stray to long from her" Marium said before spotting something that caused the Lil Witch to stop, a cheerful cry left the fairy's lips as she went towards what caught her interest which was in fact an old man holding a cane.

"I trust you are the one my friend has asked us to see?" Marium asked softly, observing her the man remained still before nodding.

"Yes, it is a pleasure to meet you at last, child of Marina" the old man said as he bowed his head slightly, Marium froze as she stared at the man in shock to which he paid no heed. "And I am relieved that you are also okay pharaoh, come now we have much to discuss" the man said before walking away, looking at them with a smile Lil Witch followed the man causing the pair to follow behind.

"Child of Marina?" Yami asked in a baffled tone while Marium remained quiet, what did this mean? Her mother was Ilayna so did that mean he was referring to a relative of hers who existed before?

Quick question does anyone know who's it is that's talking to Rex?
