Forced Epiphany
A mysterious unicorn mare waited in one of the palace's libraries-in the largest sections, which was the one that Wilder was headed to. She had been patiently waiting there for a few minutes, and had said nothing to anypony… Not that anypony had walked in at any time that she had been there. She was the only creature in the large room that remained as she waited for the young mismatched creature to arrive.
Her coat was light blue. Her mane was straight and long, of a darker blue color. It never moved far from her body, even when she walked about. She wore a dark, hooded cloak that covered most of her body and head, until she pulled the hood down.
Her eyes shone with a bright, white glow, and seemed emotionless and distant. All of her appearance gave a quite mysterious and intriguing impression. Even her movements were too smooth to go unsuspected.
There was a strange feeling to her; one would immediately suspect that she was well beyond the world that everypony knew.
After a few more minutes, Wilder entered the library through another door in the side of the vast room. He did not seem all that excited about being there, despite the research that he had in mind.
"Alright, let's get this boring research over with once and for all..." He walked a bit further into the library, but then stopped to look up in thought. "Hm... Well, how does one research, anyway...?"
He looked around, but found nopony to ask. The library seemed more deserted than he had ever seen it. That did not frighten or intrigue him in the slightest, though. With a sigh, he floated through a few shelves, to find a desk to sit on. "I knew I should've watched Tia while she did it…"
It was not long before Wilder started to sense another presence in the library. Before he could point it out, though, he turned around with a start when the doors shut closed behind him.
"What...? Whoa, I didn't do that..."
After a few seconds of standing on alert guard, he relaxed and smirked, then turned his attention forward. "Ohh, spooky! Gotta try that on Tia and Luna some other time…"
He lit the room with a floating sphere of light so that he could see better. "Hm, nothing, nothing… Of course there'd be nothing interesting around here. Ugh, what a pain… Why am I doing this again?"
His attention was caught once again by the dim glow of the ghostly-looking mare that stood behind him. He tilted his head a bit when he finally spotted all of her. "Ah…" She must've been the one who did the neat door slamming trick. Cool.
He gave the mare a cocky grin and appeared around her, though she remained unfazed. "Ooh, and who might you be? Let me just say that I thought that trick was pretty neat. I'm sure it would've scared anypony up on the shelves, or under the tables or something! Heh, heh! Too bad I'm too good for it. But you're good, though. I'll give you that much. You're on your way."
"You are… 'too good'... Quite an interesting statement from you…" Was the mare's sole, calm response to Wilder's cocky and playful greeting.
"Haven't seen you around here, have I? I think I'd remember somepony like you. You're quite different from all those other ponies in this kingdom. I don't care how different they look, they all look boring, and the same to me. Square and dull… Hardly anything happens with them!"
He let out an annoyed sigh before he snapped his fingers and appeared next to her. "I also just saved them today, by the way. Bet they're gonna be so hyped up tomorrow. That'll be a nice break from boredom, right? Parties everywhere! Boy, how will I be able to attend them all? Oh, of course I will!"
The mare kept watching him in silence while he talked and talked. She did not react in any way when she noticed his disappointment at her silence and lack of response.
"Ehh…" Wilder gave her an awkward look, then rolled his eyes and muttered to himself. "Speaking of boredom..." He decided to keep shooting in the dark (figuratively) to get to know her. "So what's your name? Wouldn't be anything silly, generic, and boring, right? You seem far too cool for that. Should I guess it?"
The mare's face was still a serene, yet serious mask when she raised her head to address him. "I have no name. As of the moment, neither do you. It is pointless to talk about that right now."
Wilder smirked and waved his paw. "Oh, no, you're wrong. I do have a name now, see. I don't know about you. It's pretty cool, too. Wanna know it? It's-"
"Wilder, yes. The young Princess of the Sun gave it to you not long after you two met."
Wilder frowned a bit and scratched his head. "Hey, how do you know that? Are you a psychic? 'Cause you're very good at that, too."
"I know everything about every creature that exists in all possible planets. I know all that is bound to the laws of Destiny and Fate." She stepped closer to him as she spoke. "I have come to reveal your true nature, and the reason for your existence. But first, answer me this; what do you believe your existence represents at the moment?"
She looked around to follow Wilder while he floated and tried to ignore her. She remained calm and emotionless towards him, until he grew frustrated and annoyed, and was forced to listen.
He gave her a look and spoke with a slightly more annoyed tone. "Well. I believe in what I've discovered so far. And I've discovered that I am none other than the embodiment of Laughter and Joy."
"Hm. 'Laughter and joy', you say." She paced around a bit before she stopped to face him again. "If that is so, have you any proof of it?"
At the clap of Wilder's claw and paw, some objects were levitated off the floor to prove his point. Streamers, balloons, sparkles, toys, noise-makers, even flares floated around them, surrounding the mare, then flying off in a long line.
"Of course I've got proof! Just look at all of this! My touch of fun is unmistakable, right? You just can't miss it. My magic tricks entertain everypony that I show them to. They laugh and glee at everything I come up with. So, really… That's a bit of a silly question." He instantly disappeared all the levitating objects as he grew a bit more impatient.
The mare stared at him silently for a few seconds before she shook her head. "I am sorry. But you are not that. You are actually far from it."
Wilder raised an eyebrow and folded his arms. Just what is her deal? She seriously has some nerve…
"You are the embodiment of Chaos and Disharmony."
"Chaos and what, sorry?"
"I will grant it, such elements do not necessarily mean evil and destructive intent, like with Sombra. It is, however, quite different from what you were led to believe."
"Okay, alright." Wilder cracked his neck and gave her a bored look. "And I care… Why?"
"...I will give you your true name and purpose. But… I am afraid it will require a sacrifice from your part. Tell me, young one… How do you feel about the princesses of this land? How do you feel about this kingdom?"
Wilder sighed and rolled his eyes. "The kingdom is small, but… You know, it accepts me. Who knew? Luna is a great friend. She's very cute, and actually puts up with a lot of my antics. I really like that, she can be fun when the occasion calls for it. And Celestia…"
He grew a bit nervous as he thought about the eldest princess. "I… I don't know, actually… She's a lot more different than everypony else. She's never been afraid… or thought badly of me. You know…?"
He smiled proudly and looked at the mare again. "She never did, at all. She's always shown the best of herself towards me, ever since we met. She even stood up for me! She talked back to those uptight council ponies that talked behind my back."
"She's bright, so kind, optimistic… But she does enjoy cool tricks, like mine, when she sees them. As long as I don't 'overdo it', she's always willing to watch me do things. She likes my powers and… me, I suppose… a lot. I… I really like that. I thought this land, and the folks would be much more boring… I was wrong. Way wrong. It makes me feel very good. Especially since… Tia makes it all bearable. Even the boring parts, I admit."
He was actually blushing while he spoke so thoughtfully about Celestia. He scratched his head and cleared his throat, trying to make sense of the mare's unreadable expression.
The mare listened patiently as he went on and on. She thought out loud only once when he finished. "...I see. 'Different'. Yes, that is… That is love, as far as it can be said."
Wilder raised an eyebrow and gave her a puzzled look. "It's what, now?"
She stomped her hoof against the floor, making Wilder look at her with an odd expression. "However, it cannot be. It is not meant to occur, and will not take place in this time as long as I am there to see it all."
"What are you talking about?" Wilder frowned. "And why not?" He did not like being told that he could not do things, even if he did not understand what those things were in the first place.
"It has to do with the truth, young one. Your truth forbids this love to be. And rules are rules."
"Well, 'screw the rules', I always say! Out with this 'truth', whatever it is. Geez, you're making me lose my patience, lady. I don't understand what you're talking about, or this dumb 'love' thing, but even so… It's boring as hay! Can't you just get on with it?"
"No. If I am to tell you the truth, you will have to give up all that you know until this moment. Though… In truth… You must, either way. Whether or not I accept to enlighten you, or refuse. Neither you nor I possess will of our own, nor the right to do what we desire." She spoke gravely while she looked at him.
"Hey, I don't like that talk! You can be out of will, but not me! So cut it out, because I've got many options down the road. And I've got many roads, to boot."
She walked around some more, studying him all the while. "You certainly have grown on your own. But... Considering the path of your true destiny, it has been in the wrong direction. If you continue, then the events of your destiny will go out of place and fall beyond repair, and there will be chaos that even you will be unable to subdue and change. You must understand that."
"Good! I like things out of place, even my destiny! With a side of confusion, not bad."
"It will not be as you think. In fact, the idea of it going astray, even for you, is unfathomable. It simply does not exist, that you would rewrite your fate in such a way. When I leave behind this palace, and this world, you will have gone back into the right path, where you were always intended to go."
Wilder rolled his eyes again, then gave her a grin. "Hah. Sorry, lady… But I'm my own boss. Whatever world it is, it still doesn't own me. No one tells me where I have to go or not. It's my own direction."
"I am sorry. But things must change. It is for the best." She stepped away from Wilder and closed her eyes. "You are a Draconequus. Your real name is Discord. You are the embodiment of Chaos and Disharmony, and I can prove it. I can do so with the memories that you have lost prior to your arrival to this world."
He gasped when she opened her eyes again and stared directly at him with the blinding glow in them. "Oh, you are full of...! Stop! Knock it off!"
Somehow the mare began to intimidate him, so he floated away from her. No matter how much he concentrated, all of his spells were negated, so he began to panic when nothing responded. "What are you doing?! I can't use my magic! Leave me alone-I've had enough of this!"
"Young Discord, you have much to learn. No magic in the plane of this existence will work against me. Not even yours. There is an important duty that you must fulfill. In order to do so, I have to reveal your past to you. After I have done so, you will steer back in the right direction that is your fate. The following events will be for you to decide, yet for fate to unfold at due time."
Wilder blinked and looked at her a little worriedly. "What... What are you talking about...?"
"You are powerful, but young. So are they. In this state that you are now, you are of no help for your world. You must all grow to your full potential. You must embrace the roles given to you three by fate, in order to help this world develop into what it must become."
She closed her eyes again as she emitted the brightest flash of magic energy that anyone ever saw. "Behold, Discord, the spirit of what you truly are. Your memories."
Wilder screamed and looked away. "No! Leave me alone!" He growled and tried to move, but his body was rendered useless as it shook under the pressure. "N-no…!"
The mare's spell started to work in his mind. His eyes glowed white as hers did, while he started to stammer and cry out in fear. He fell on the floor and held his head while he struggled.
"My... My head... It hurts... Th-There's a… a voice...!" He turned on his other side and tried to crawl on the floor, convulsing every so often from the pain and shock of the images in his mind.
Fear and confusion stirred within him, and he could not make sense of anything at all. What on earth is going… I can't… "What... What am I...?!"
The mare's eyes glowed brightly, but not as intensely as a few seconds ago. She did not speak out loud, but her voice was still heard all around the room. "You two are not meant to be together."
"No! Stop it! That's… No, that's not true!"
"It is the truth. You are different, Discord. You pretend to be what you are not for their sake. For their comfort, but you have to confront what is real. You have to face it once and for all."
Wilder pressed his claw and paw tighter against his head, trying to drive out her voice. "Cut it out!"
"You have to accept reality at some point. You will end up hurting them, and yourself, with your lies."
"No!" He shook his head and gritted his teeth while he curled into a ball on the floor. "I-I don't wanna hurt her. I don't... I don't wanna lose them!" He looked up at her desperately. "Why are you telling me this?! What am I supposed to do?!"
While he scooted away from the mare, frightened by the visions that she unleashed upon him, she stepped closer, unrelenting and calm while she kept her serious tone. "The answer is simple, though you wish to ignore it. Embrace what you truly are. Embrace your true self."
"But..." He grunted in pain, then started to laugh lowly, bit by bit. He whispered to himself desperately, while trying to make sense of his pain, his confusion, and what the mare told him to do. "Y-yeah... This... This isn't really... If I'm not... myself, then..."
"Then ruin will come to them."
Wilder shivered after he imagined the deserted, ruined land that the princesses loved so much. It was destroyed, with everypony dead. he imagined the princesses themselves being harmed by the disasters that occurred so constantly, just as the mare had predicted.
"B-but that's unfair! Why would that happen to them?! We're doing nothing wrong, you're being selfish and unfair! All they're doing is giving me a chance! Why do they have to pay with this?!"
"...'Selfish' and 'unfair'. I am being so?"
"Of course you are! You're not thinking about us at all, are you?! You don't care about what the princesses want. About what I want! Listen to me, will you?! I do whatever I please-I was created to do nothing more than that! If I hadn't been made that way, I wouldn't have this kind of magic!"
Wilder growled and stepped forward, glaring at the mare. "I'm sick of this, so listen! We're three creatures strong enough to live however we choose to live! All of us are amazing and unique, we have the right to live how we want to, not how you order us! And I'm going to keep it that way!"
"Young one, it is you who is selfish. By demanding your 'freedom', you are chaining yourself and your friends further to what must be done. You are putting the fate that has been chosen, and every creature that will abide by it, in peril."
She walked closer to him, even when Wilder insisted to turn away from her. "Turning you away from this illusion that you three have built is for the greater good. If you remain in this wrong path, your princesses will grow weak and frail, and they are not meant to. They will never learn what they must to survive, and to help others survive and prosper with them. They will never grow. Like you, they will have no productivity. Their land will hardly evolve. Their existence will be meaningless."
"That's not true! They're doing a great job as it is! You're lying and exaggerating everything! They'll always have meaning for me, you hear that?! ALWAYS! Don't you ever say that they will be useless again, because they won't be! I won't let you fool me like that-"
"It simply will not be this way. It cannot be this way, you have to understand. It is best that you accept and embrace your fate. Otherwise, forceful measures will be taken by Destiny. You three will be separated, one way or another. It is best to do so like this, so that no one is injured, or lost-"
"I want us to be together. All of us, together-always. I'll... I'll use my powers! My magic can do anything; it will even change your uptight Destiny, you'll see!" Wilder tried to appear magic in his claw and paw. Due to the mare's own magic, he could hardly generate any power, but he was too distressed and hysterical to see it, chuckling every so often while his irises and pupils shrank from the stress.
"Yeah, that'll work! You haven't seen the last of me, you know. You underestimate me just because I don't speak in an echoey, uptight monotone, and glow around with my eyes. I'll show you and your Destiny, whoever you are!" He chuckled again and raised his claw and paw while the mare remained serious.
"I'll use my powers to keep us together!" He opened his eyes wide, the corner of his mouth twitching into a grin as thoughts and memories painfully rushed through him.
"It does not matter what or who you are, but what-" He could heard Celestia's voice echo in his head.
Wilder cried out and shook his head. "It... It does! It does matter, Tia! What an idiot you are-how could you ever believe that?! What am I?! Who am I?!"
He panted desperately as the memories that were unleashed upon him quickly began to fade. So did the pain, little by little. He suddenly felt that he was losing all sense of self; all proof of his existence and purpose in the world… The only one he had left anywhere outside of his imagination.
"No! Bring… Bring them back! I want to see them!" He pleaded and grasped at the air with his claws.
The mare stood over him, watching his struggle in silence. "...It is time, child. Now you must see the truth, and how things must be from this moment on. Now you must fall from your make-believe grace."
Wilder glared up at the mare, then bared his teeth and lifted her up with what little magic he had access to. His eyes turned desperate while he fixed his stare into her own emotionless eyes. "Show me everything, you hear? Show it all to me. I want to know everything that I am!"
He did not notice the brief white glow of his eyes as he demanded more of the visions from the mare.
"To show you requires a sacrifice. You must give up the knowledge that you have already gained, in order to gain more of your proper fate. You must give up the lies in order to see and learn the truth." While she spoke in her calm tone, she showed him visions of his time with the princesses and the ponies and the kingdom; she showed him the good memories that he had made and gained until that moment.
Wilder disregarded all of those visions and answered immediately, without the smallest hesitation.
"Take it! Take it all! They're lies anyway, aren't they?! It's been lies all this time... We won't be friends if we keep them up, if we don't see things how they really are..."
He chuckled and spoke to himself, though he also referred to the mare still. "I won't leave them. I'll keep them by my side with nothing but the truth. I'll save the friendship that we've made no matter what. They'll be so happy and thankful for it. And I'll do it all on my own! With no more lies, no more secrets."
The mare remained silent while he spoke. "Already the choice has begun to break you... Perhaps you were not as far from the road as I thought. Let us move on, child. There is still much for you to see."
Wilder held his head again, as it started to feel as though it would explode. He quickly turned to look at the ghostly mare again. "Shut up! I don't want to hear any more of your useless puzzles. Do what you came here to bother me for already-get it over with. Go on! Show me the TRUTH!"
She touched his forehead with her hoof and watched him after he gasped. Her spell made his eyes turn empty and dull, as did his mind, while his body also began to relax.
"Calm yourself, child. I have heard your pleas and will take your sacrifice. Be content with your new life. The memories within you will awake, and you will see what you wish."
Once she slipped from Wilder's slack grip, she stepped down onto the floor and watched his arms fall at his sides, limp and numb. She closed her eyes and made her horn glow to help the draconequus lay back on the floor, just as the trance of the memories put him deeper under. "Can you hear me, young one?"
He stared off into space with a blank expression and did not answer her.
"I am sorry. I cannot help or say more to you. I must not. You are not what you were led to believe, young Discord. I believe that after this, you will be in the right direction, and things might become easier in your life in the future after all is done. Please try to remember this."
She gently held his face in her hoof and looked into his eyes. "Awake, child. The time of your deceitful slumber is over. You must wake up and face your fated reality."
Her touch began to bring him back to reality. He groaned a bit, still feeling disoriented. "W-wait…"
She cast her look down once the pain gradually returned to him.
He managed to whisper to her before she turned around. "No... Don't... go… Please..." He tried in vain to push himself up, barely conscious.
"...I suppose I can do you one last kindness." She set his head down on the floor to leave his mind blank once again. "It will take longer for the trance to end this way, but it will give you a few moments of painless oblivion. Embrace them to their fullest, for it is all that I can give. When I disappear, Discord, you will not remember anything about me or our conversation."
She vanished into blinding light, though he did not notice and no longer called out to her.

Luna eyed the library suspiciously after she decided to walk by. She did not have a very good feeling about the atmosphere that had enveloped the palace all of a sudden. It had not been long since the attack on their land was over, so everything was naturally still on edge.
Still, Luna perceived something... different. That Wilder was being awfully quiet in the library, which place that would bore him out of his wits as the libra did not help calm her, either.
She did not hear the laughter, chatter, or the noisy clatter of tricks that he had become famous and known for. In fact, he had spent an awful lot of time in a place that would go against his energetic, loud nature. "Perhaps there ist a book section that he needst assistance with..."
The young draconequus still laid on the floor, burdened with pain and confusion. His eyes were shut tight while he slowly returned from the trance.
The compelling spell had finished its memory-mind warping purpose, leaving him a broken-down, exhausted, and stunned mess, nearly empty and almost insane.
He whispered a single word, over and over: "D-Discord... Discord..."
Soon after Luna stepped into the library, she found many books out of place, but otherwise the room was intact. "Strange…" She blinked and stopped briefly when she heard Wilder's whispers. Wilder?
She followed his voice, calling out to him quietly. "Wilder, where art thou? Wilder?" She gasped and stopped in her tracks when she finally found him on the floor. "Wilder!"
She quickly walked over to him and gave him a worried look. "Wilder, what hast happened? Art thou alright? Wilder, answer us…!" Despite her concern, she tried to speak gently to him while she knelt down and shook him slightly. She frowned when he did not respond to her words or touch. "Wilder…?"
He continued to whisper without paying her any mind. "Dis… Discord… D-Discord…"
"...Wilder, stop it." Luna tried to calm down, but he was starting to scare her. She tried to reanimate him nevertheless, nudging him every so often. "Everything ist now fine, our friend. What ist it? Art thou hurt? Let us help thee, Wilder. We wilt do everything that We can."
She stayed quiet for a few seconds and let out a small, relieved smile when he pushed himself off the ground in a sitting position. "Oh, there thou art… Very good…"
He opened his eyes and stood on his feet, though he staggered and looked quite dizzy. He walked forward clumsily, but soon smashed against some bookshelves, though he did not seem to mind. He hardly noticed Luna, if at all, or anything else around him.
"WIlder, please wait." She stood up and walked after him, careful not to injure her bandaged wing more. She supported him as best as she could to keep him from falling over.
"Perhaps thou shouldst lay down for the night. It hast been a rather stressful day... night... and, thou dost not seem to be doing too well, Wilder." She touched his lion paw with her hoof and smiled a bit at him.
"Yes... That... That is... great..." 'Discord' spoke, still confused and dizzy. He followed Luna to his quarters, keeping his empty expression and mindless staggering through the whole way there.
Luna carefully watched him as they entered his bedroom. Maybe battling those two actually took more energy from him than we thought. But, this ist so strange...
"Wouldst thou liketh us to call for a doctor, Wilder?" She set her front hooves softly on the bed once he sat on it. She continued to observe him closely, though minded his space.
"No, I'm fine." Wilder shook his head to try and clear it. "Just... Just come closer, Luna. Please." He laid beneath the bed covers while he called her over, then rubbed his eyes, barely able to keep them open.
He really looked unlike him right then; he had never behaved anything like that since he had arrived in the princesses' kingdom. He looked more than sick, but Luna could not explain it.
Nevertheless, she scooted closer to his side. "Thou worry us, Wilder. We had yet to see thee like this. What ist it? How can We help thee?" She wondered endlessly about what to do.
If she told Celestia, she would definitely be quite worried as well, and would adamantly refuse to go back to sleep. Luna herself was quite tired, but immediately discarded the idea of resting. She would not do so as long as she knew that Wilder was doing badly. It ist best that We try to handle this on our own for as long as We can… Sister has had enough worries.
"I-I just feel weird... Tired..." He held his head again for a brief moment. After that, he leaned forward and gave Luna a warm, long hug, unaware of the fact that he had just startled her.
"I just felt something... It worries me, as if... As if I won't see you again. I never meant to hurt you... I just wanted... I want to be friends, but if I keep it up... I have a feeling, things are... changing..."
Luna continued to stare at him, but frowned with confusion. "Wilder, what… What doth thou talketh about? We do not understand… Listen, thou doth not maketh sense at the moment…"
Wilder did not seem to hear her. "Glad... you understand... It was... nothing?" He chuckled weakly, then patted her head while he gave her a small smile. "...I'm sorry..."
Luna shook her head and tried to talk again. "Wilder, listen-"
"I'm being dramatic here, aren't I…? Sorry, little Luna. I... I won't take more of your time, you must be exhausted, too..." He let out a drowsy yawn and rubbed his eyes again.
Luna's tone was even more worried as she tried to speak to him once again. She stood up just a bit, just as his eyes began to close. We have to mind our words. "Wilder, We..."
"...Some rest... You'll see... I'll get you laughing... in the morn..." He muttered before he inadvertently collapsed on his bed, exhausted. He was snoring in a short while.
She blinked and stared at him with surprise. "...In the morning..." She put her hoof in his eagle claw while he snored, and brushed the tuft of white mane out of his closed eyes. "We look forward to that. Oh, we… We wilt always be friends, Wilder. We want thee to know that."
Wilder moaned in his sleep and turned his head aside. His snoring continued after a few seconds.
She patted his claw to soothe him some more. "We art sorry, Wilder. We art sorry for not being so kind to thee in the beginning, when we first met. But, We sure art glad that things have changed between us. Thou hast become such a good friend to us… Almost a brother."
She nuzzled against his claw and smiled at him again. "Wilder, We want to thank thee for caring so much for us. From the bottom of our heart… Thank thee." She leaned over to kiss his cheek, but ended up gasping with surprise when Wilder turned over and dropped his heavy lion paw on her.
"Oof!" She winced slightly when the limp paw touched her injured wing. "Ow… Wilder…" She looked up at him and saw that he was still out like a light.
With a small smile, the young Night Princess climbed up into his bed. With effort, she slipped back under his heavy paw and cuddled into it. "Good night, our friend."
He snorted and mumbled in his sleep before he nuzzled his face into the pillow. His tail twitched a bit with his stirring. "Nnh… I get it, I… Topsy, yeah. Okay… Hippo…" He mumbled some more before he trailed off with his some more of his snoring.
Luna sighed and shook her head at his incoherent sleep talking. "Oh, this ist rather unbelievable… So late already, yet… Up and about, art thou not? It ist a good thing We art so tired… Thou art so active and fretful, even in thy sleep!" The princess let out a giggle, then closed her eyes and soon fell fast asleep beside him, undisturbed even by his rambling or snoring.
Ooh, this update took a while. And it ended up being longer than before! As usual. But I enjoyed it! I think it's a lot better than before, even if there are hardly any apparent differences.
This is clearly how 'Wilder' turned into Discord, according to the RP that I made with my friend. I think it's a pretty cool take on the concept. Bit creepy, too. Very nice to work with.
The mare kept reminding me of Zecora… But she didn't rhyme! To my relief. I think she will make another appearance much later… Anyone else felt angry or upset with her? Frustrated? I did for sure. But what else could she do? Things have to go one way or the other, a certain way sometimes.
I felt proud of little Wilder. See, I edited this again and made him put more of a fight with his attitude! He was so strong for a brief moment, so determined, so defiant… Well, before he slipped away and lost it to the madness of his revealed fate.
Then he grew all greedy and insane, messed up in his priorities and perception… Felt bad for cute teenage Discord. This has got to be the cutest I've seen of him yet. Discord as Wilder, isn't that cute?! Poor Discord… But… It had to happen. Sadly, he couldn't be Wilder forever. Otherwise we wouldn't have much action in the story… Or a story to begin with.
At least he spent some more quality time with Luna before everything goes downhill. Even if he wasn't really aware of that time and slipped out cold before she gave him a touching apology… It was still their last time together as Wilder and Luna. Oh, the feels with these two…
Wish my relationships were this good. Wilder, thou shalt be missed! T_T
