The rain got heavier while Freddy roared as he clawed into Jason's chest only to be grabbed by the back of the head and ran into Michael, who knocked him down before clutching his broken arm. After fiddling around with him, a loud snap was heard before he moved his fingers about to reveal his returned motion and he jerked down by the vengeful Jason onto the beach.
He bashed the back of Michael's head into the sand repeatedly while hacking into his shoulder with the machete and Freddy lashed his organic claws into Jason's wounded chest. The deformed mongoloid then felt the metal claws ripping and tearing into his backside before Michael grabbed his forehead.
With his thumb being driven into Freddy's forehead, the dream demon screamed in agony before his head was bashed into the back of Jason's resilient skull and drove his arm back to knock his enemies off. He ripped the machete out of his shoulder and swung into Jason's torso in a series of lacerations with more of his blood running down his body.
Before Michael could rear the machete back, Freddy sprang at him and attacked his wounds while Jason whipped out his mother's hunting knife. He charged at Michael and slit his throat with a vicious swing with the blank-faced mute touching his new wound as if it were a mere annoyance.
"Fuck." Freddy growled with Michael swinging the machete at him and lashing his nearest claw down half of his face. Despite his irritated eye being worsened, Michael refused to back down and slashed at Freddy with the machete connecting to his heart.
Jason appeared beside Michael and thrust the knife into his side as he retaliated with the machete with his disfigured enemy rearing his hand back before launching it forward. His hand plunged into Michael's chest and grabbed hold of his heart but refrained from squeezing it right away as the man slowly sank to his knees with blood spraying out of his fresh wound with Freddy cutting into Michael's backside.
As his blood spilled onto the sand turned mud, he dropped the machete to which Jason reclaimed and prepared to bring it down on both Freddy and Michael. However, the former slashed the underside of his jaw with his organic claws and buried them into his upper torso injuries.
"Die!" Freddy snarled before Michael revealed his reclaimed knife and sliced into his other attacker's gut. Relentlessly hacking into him as blood profusely ran from his mouth, Michael and his foes failed to notice how the rain had immensely flooded the lake with the thrashing waves getting higher by the minute.
The defiant Jason head-butted Freddy with continuing to tear his way through his upper body with Michael starting to rise and reared the knife back only to launch it to twist it into the wound again. With blood running from all their jaws, they all stood their ground to where a wave of water hit the murderers and dragged them into the lake along with a motorboat next to the docks.
Michael, Jason, and Freddy were roughly dragged through the unstable water until the former found himself on the lakebed against a Camp Crystal Lake sign that read Camp Blood in bright red letters. Freddy tore through the water as he managed to catch Jason drifting through the water as he bled out and gurgled screams sounded.
As everything around him spun underwater, Freddy eventually arose from the water and was tossed around before managing to avoid the motorboat spinning throughout the waves. He spat out the water and turned on the motor in a misguided attempt to steer to the shore with the boat spinning out of control.
"Damn!" Freddy shouted while holding onto the boat before Jason shot out of the water and grabbed onto him to throttle his opponent with his claws ripping into his shoulders. Hacking into Jason's shoulders, the brute managed to jump into the air again and drag Freddy into the water as they grappled all the way to the bed of the lake.
Jason held up Freddy and began smashing his head as he clawed into him again and again to no apparent avail with Michael being swept about nearby. Managing to grab onto the back of Freddy's neck, he began to squeeze as Freddy tore into his other working eyes before dragging his organic claw out to boot Jason's head a few times.
Despite the water filling his lungs, Jason didn't budge in his grip on his foe's skull and neither did Michael until a rift in the water caused them to be lifted. All of them were lifted with Michael's grip being disturbed to where he blindly managed to grab Freddy's ankle and managed to crush it with Jason doing the same.
As Freddy reared his head back to let out an anguished scream, he then noticed the motor of the boat spinning around and started wiggling to break free from his opponents with Jason spotting it. He kicked Michael in the ribs which led to him lurching over and he reared back up with vengeance upon realizing who it was.
Letting go of Freddy with Jason losing his grip from Michael latching onto him, the deformed man angrily grabbed at him as he ascended to the spinning motor and covered his head while roaring in defiance with his arms being shredded.
"NOOOO!" Freddy gurgled in pain with his back to the surface, the motor tore into his back until it met with his head and neck and lacerating them in several chunks beyond recognition until the boat was eventually flipped over. Jason, while satisfied at seeing this, angrily grabbed on Michael at ruining his chance to finish Freddy himself and slammed him onto the lake bed.
With his lungs overfilled with water, Michael felt for his knife in the bed with Jason miraculously reclaiming his machete and they launched their blades at the other. The knife cut into the underside of Jason's jaw and the machete pierced his forehead with both weapons staying lodged in them as Michael grabbed his neck while driving his thumb into his heart.
Planting his boot atop Michael's chest wound to begin smashing his ribcage, he planted his jagged thumbs on his damaged eyes and began to push them with enough force to draw more blood. On the surface, barely visible ripples appeared once the storm let up and the surface eventually settled with blood turning the center a deep crimson shade with all going still in the water.
Elsewhere
"Loriā¦" Erika said as she finally stopped the ambulance in front of the hospital and her friend sighed before looking to her.
"Don't worry, Erika. I'm not going to let you die." Lori said before hearing the familiar scraping going alongside the ambulance and looking back in shock to see Michael disappear from the backdoor. Jumping out of fear, she looked back to see Freddy sneering at them and wiggling his claws menacingly at them.
"Time for a quality threesome, bitches!" Freddy cackled with Erika managing to get to Lori's side of the ambulance as she reached back for the door handle only for Jason to smash through the window. He grabbed both girls by the necks and yanked them out of the ambulance before everything went white.
Reality
"No!" Lori sat up in a hospital bed in a fright before looking around to see a woman, Steven, and Franklyn standing next to her.
"Relax. This won't bother you half as much as your other injuries." The woman, part-time doctor Ginny Field said.
"Lori, are you alright?" The nearby Erika asked and after being given something to relax, she listened to why Steven was there and vice versa.
"All right, your folks should show up any minute but is there anything at all you can tell us?" Franklyn asked.
"Did you find Freddy, Jason or Michael?" Lori asked.
"We've already sent cars to Camp Crystal Lake, but Erika tells me they were fighting each other?" Franklyn said.
"Yeah, Jason attacking Freddy and Michael is how we got away in one piece." Erika said.
"Then they must still be there, right?" Ginny said and Steven sighed with Lori having an equally doubtful expression on her.
"I don't know, Doctor Fields. I honestly don't know." Steven said while looking out the window.
In Springwood
"That's the last of them." Max said to Neil upon reading a newspaper that all the Hypnocil in Springwood had been officially disposed of.
"I still have my doubts but, maybe this is a sign from above that we're finally done with that him." Neil optimistically said.
"Yeah, that charred fucker can't be around forever but drugs and sex, that are another story." Max chuckled before going about his work and Neil smiled at this before looking at a memorial picture of Nancy and the Dream Warriors.
"Hope, you can all rest in peace a bit easier now." Neil thought to himself and as he walked down the hall, he failed to notice claw marks appear the bed in a nearby room with Freddy's sinister cackling echoing.
Crystal Lake
Ki-Ki-Ki-Ma-Ma-Ma
A police cruiser arrived at the whole campground and two experienced cops, Cunningham and Miller, looked around at the blood spilled about.
"Jesus, this is like something out of those horror movies. Savini sure go lucky at being on vacation" Cunningham said.
"And it's about to get worse." Miller said with panic upon picking Jason's hockey mask near Michael's and leaving it on the ground.
"Why?"
"Because I've seen enough of them to know any giant with a messed-up face is never friendly." Miller straightforwardly answered and Cunningham looked to see Jason appear from the dense fog with the limp Michael over his shoulder with his machete back in its sheath.
"Hey, you!" Miller said before Jason flung Pamela's knife into his stomach and he doubled over before Cunningham took aim at him. With his clothes still covered with blood, Jason dropped Michael's body to the ground along with his claimed trophy of Freddy's severed glove and charged at the cruiser.
Firing at Jason, Cunningham managed to shoot his torso before Jason grabbed him in the form of a headlock and started constricting his neck while lifting him off the ground. His feet dangled about as he gasped for air and dropped his gun while struggling again his attack until a loud crunch was heard.
Dropping Cunningham, Jason's head snapped to the downed Miller and marched over to him before grabbing his collar. Slamming him against the cruiser, Jason ripped out the knife and thrust it into the officer a few more times before slamming him into the windshield with a finishing slash to the throat from the knife.
Blood profusely ran down his neck and chest as his final few breaths came to an end with Jason looking at the knife from it now being all that he had left of Pamela thanks to Freddy. He then noticed his mask lying on the ground and reached for it until a hook with a chain attached tore into his hand.
As he looked at this in complete puzzlement, he soon found a series of them tearing into him and he stared around at all of them holding him still until a figure appeared in front of him.
"I believe we haven't been properly acquainted with each other, Jason Voorhees." said a pale-skinned being dressed in black leather said and Jason only cocked his head at the man's skull being riddled with countless needles with two other beings appearing; one being female and the other being obesely disfigured with sunglasses hiding his stitched eyes.
"For the time being, you may refer to us as Cenobites; explorers in the further regions of experience. Demons to some. Angels to others." The lead Cenobite, or more famously Pinhead, spoke to Jason as he cocked his head a few times.
"We have business to conduct with you." The female Cenobite, called Female or Deepthroat as another title, said before Jason started to thrash.
"Struggle all you might, but know I am not here to return you or Freddy Krueger to your rightful places in hell. There are grander things at work as we speak." Pinhead continued as other figures began to arrive and Jason looked around to see a hulking being wielding a massive chainsaw while moving about in an unstable frenzy, a man in mining gear noisily breathing through his gas mask as he held a pickaxe, and there was a third man wearing WWII U.S. Army combat uniform with his helmet and fatigues covering most of his head as his weapon of choice was a pitchfork with a bayonet serving as the middle prong.
"Now that I have your undivided attention, let us talk." Pinhead said to Jason and eventually, he, the Cenobite followers, and the figures all vanished. Donning his Hockey Mask, he looked back on the ground behind him to see that Michael and his mask were both gone and that only Freddy's arm remained.
Jason only nodded his head at this from begrudgingly accepting that Michael, like him, was virtually unstoppable and he picked up Freddy's glove before moving. It was then he heard Michael's loud breathing nearby and no matter where he looked, it echoed all over the campgrounds as if he were everywhere.
Ignoring oncoming sirens, he followed the breathing with tightened fists and marched down to the lake before vanishing underwater. As the water settled with Michael's breathing echoing with the cruiser's engine starting, the six skip-rope playing girls appeared nearby a cabin and sang their haunting tune:
One, Two, Freddy's coming for you.
Three, four, it's an even score.
Five, six, grab your crucifix.
Seven, eight, gonna slay them straight.
Nine, ten, they'll always come back again.

There you have it: Freddy's in pieces but Springwood is at his mercy with no Hypnocil, Jason's back home to stay until he's captured for the events of Jason X (he's human again; so he might easier to capture) and Michael has vanished as usual in this final chapter and I hope every last one of enjoyed the ride.
Given Pinhead's appearance, many will ask me if I'm setting up a sequel and the answer is a mild maybe but since I've never watched any of the classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre films or ones with villains I'd love to use like Cropsey of The Burning, I'm afraid I won't be writing a sequel to this fanfic anytime soon unless I watch them first.
Another factor in a sequel is that I'd want to make it along the lines of a traditional Friday the 13th film in which the plotline continues in Crystal Lake but the concept would need to be something more original since Jason isn't falling for Freddy's disguises as Pamela anymore and God only knows if the same applies to Michael.
As with Freddy vs. Jason, one could call Jason the winner since he's in one piece or in another sense, it could be Freddy since his powers are back so he can kill in Springwood as much as he pleases. Since the 15th anniversary of that film is coming next month, I'll always say that Kane Hodder not being in that film was a massive sore spot but since writing this story with Jason having the traits of his tenure as the character, I feel more at peace with the issue thanks to this tale and perhaps others will feel the same.
In fact, if I don't write a sequel, this chapter is a good bookend to Hodder's Jason as his first action was coming out of the lake in Friday the 13th: The New Blood whereas the last thing he does in the story is going back into the water and since we don't know what Pinhead wanted from Jason, it's a fair ending that doesn't demand a sequel; especially since we don't know why Leatherface would be with him given he isn't dead unlike Harry Warden or The Prowler.
So, in closing, thanks for your support over the years with this story and in the event there is no sequel, thank you as always for reading.
