MistressOfTime: I have no idea what's wrong with this sight as of late. It's not letting me do anything with the stories I already have up. I am sorely tempted to leave it. *sigh* But alas, I cannot. But it's probably not going to let me post anything new for a while. So The Incorrigible Ammy, I would hate for you to think I have ignored your request completely. Quite the contrary, I'm working on it right now, but I might not be able to post it here. We'll see when it's finished though.

Link could not stop laughing.
Siegfried could not stop glaring. "This isn't funny." A small yip from the knight's ankle made the glare intensify. "Would you tell it to go away?"
The blonde shook his head. "I don't think it will listen to me."
The puppy stood up on its hind legs and pawed at Siegfried's pant leg. It barked happily and nuzzled its head against the human it had taking a liking to.
Siegfried sighed. "Why is it doing that?"
"I think it likes you."
"Why?"
Link shrugged and continued on walking. "Maybe for the same reason I do." He turned around and winked. "Puppy love is an interesting thing."
Post T.A.A.H
Siegfried had a hard time understanding just what it was he wanted out of life these days. If anyone were to ask, he would say redemption. That had been the key goal since he was released from Nightmare's clutches. He had done a lot of damage and he had a lot to answer for. The only solution, that would satisfy the problems he had caused, was to redeem himself. That way he could honestly look people in the eye and say he had done something to try and fix things.
Yet, he could not say exactly what it was that he wanted redemption for. He knew at one point. He could have easily have told you precisely what it was he wanted to redeem himself for. And he used to be quite confident in his answers.
He wanted redemption for what he did to his father, "If your father was still alive, he would have forgiven you already. I don't think the dead have a tendency to carry grudges."
He wanted redemption for making his mother suffer, "I can't say I understand that fear, but I've seen enough mothers to know one thing. A mother's love for her child knows no bounds. You could do a lot of things to her, but none of it will ever make her stop loving you, or make it impossible to forgive you."
He wanted redemption for unleashing a monster into the world, "True, a terrible creature was let loose into the world. Yes it did slaughter countless amounts of people. But you are, in no way, that monster. And the one who unleashed it was Soul Edge. You are an innocent bystander."
Nowadays Siegfried still felt that he needed redemption. He just could not figure out what for anymore.
Fang: Just to clarify, that was Link speaking in italics, right?
MistressOfTime: Yes. You couldn't figure that out?
Fang: I just couldn't see why he'd be speaking in Siegfried's mind.
MistressOfTime: That's because you don't have a romantic bone in your body.
Fang: I do so.
MistressOfTime: So why are you single right now?
Fang: …I…it's a choice I made…so there.
MistressOfTime: Sure. R&R okay?
