This story is about Meowth working with a different partner instead of working with Jessie and James. I don't own pokemon.
The Training Ground
When Meredith and Meowth arrived at Mt Moon, Meredith caught herself an Ekans and managed to find a lot of moonstones. Now they came to a big building which lay somewhere outside Cerulean City. This was a gym where people and pokemon can train together. She walked up to the entrance where a guard was watching. "Card please" said the guard. Meredith showed him her card and walked in. The card Meredith had to show was a special card that let people into the gym; as this was built for Team Rocket only rocket members could earn the cards.
Meredith walked in and then a muscular man came over to her. "Haven't seen you a while Meredith" said the man. "How you been Grey?" asked Meredith. "Ah good, so what you brought here to train today?" said Grey. "I have Pikachus and Kakunas that need a good train, especially since I'm going to send them to the boss after I evolve them," said Meredith "so I need the room where the equipment is, then I'll need the grounds where you set up targets and of course the training room where the fighting type are". "Understood" said Grey.
The Pikachus and Kakunas were put to training by Meredith for a whole week. She had all the Pikachus get into shape in a room where equipment was kept; running on treadmills, jumping on trampolines and carry small weights. As for the Kakunas, as soon as they evolved to Beedrills Meredith had them and the Pikachus practice their moves on the training grounds. Then it came to when she had them battle against the fighting pokemon.
"I have to say Meredith you trained the pokemon good" said Meowth. "I've trained with pokemon since I was 12 thanks to some help of an old friend of mine," replied Meredith "I'm going to train you too Meowth". "Uh there may be a problem with that" said Meowth, nervously. He admitted he only knew scratch, bite and fury swipes, and his learning to talk and walk prevented him from learning payday. Meredith found this unbelievable and thought there was a lot of work between her and Meowth.
After the training was done Meredith used some thunderstones to evolve all the Pikachus into Raichus, and then sent them to the boss along with the Beedrills. "Now that's over, it's time to head over to route 24 because there's a special place there where we can get some stronger pokemon" said Meredith. Meowth liked the sound of that and couldn't wait to see the place Meredith was talking about.
Meowth will learn some moves through TM's. He'll only learn generation I tm moves in kanto, and learn more when Meredith goes to other regions. I changed it a bit for Meredith; I decided not to have her have a growth disorder disease. Just have her still have the face of a child.
