This story is about Meowth working with a different partner instead of working with Jessie and James. I don't own pokemon.
Seeing Jessie & James
Today Meredith and Meowth had come to Vermillion City and right now they were at a pokemon center. Meowth and Meredith's other pokemon were with Nurse Joy and Meredith was having a cup of tea. She was also looking through a catalogue of TM's to buy. "Good thing I saved up a lot of my salaries for these" she said to herself. She wrote on the order form all the TM's she wanted and sent her order in the post. Next she decided to take a bubble bath.
While she was bathing in the pokemon centre's women's baths a surprise entered. It was Misty. "Misty what are you doing here?" asked Meredith. Misty explained she, Ash and their new travelling partner Brock had come to Vermillion City so Ash could earn the badge. "Pardon the curiosity but how is that kid doing as a trainer?" asked Meredith. Misty sighed. "He is an absolute amateur as a pokemon trainer Mary;" she said "he hardly has any idea what to do, keeps on getting pokemon types wrong, makes a fool of himself and keeps on getting cocky". "That's boys for you sometimes Misty;" said Meredith "you get the type of boys who are really childish, irresponsible and stupid especially at 10 years old. And then you get those who are responsible, sensible and smart. And there's nothing you can do about it except just be patient and help Ash in any way you can, even if he does drive you crazy. I've met up with many stupid boys myself in my time". Misty knew Meredith was right because she wasn't going to stop travelling with Ash. After the bath was over Misty went to leave with Ash and Brock, while Meredith picked up Meowth and her pokemon and went to get a bite to eat at a café.
After lunch Meredith and Meowth were just about to do some shopping, when suddenly a man and woman stepped out in front of them. It was Jessie and James of Team Rocket. "Oh Jessie and James it's you" said Meredith, not happy to see them. "Well, well fancy seeing you again Meredith" said Jessie. Jessie, James had seen Meredith back in the training days. "What are you two doing here?" asked Meowth. "If you must know a kid with a very strong Pikachu has come to this city" said Jessie. "And we are here to steal it" said James. Meredith snorted. "I'm sorry to disappoint you but I have already sent Raichus to the boss;" she said "a Pikachu is worthless to the boss unless it's a Raichu. So even if you sent the world's strongest Pikachu to the boss, he will just evolve it to Raichu. So you two are wasting your time" Then she and Meowth left.
Jessie and James were shocked when they heard that, but being the stupid and stubborn types they didn't believe what Meredith said. So they insisted of stealing Ash's Pikachu no matter what and show Meredith a thing or two.
"Would the boss really evolve Pikachu if Jessie and James sent it to the boss?" Meowth asked Meredith. "Remember what I told you before Meowth?" said Meredith "the boss prefers fully evolved pokemon. And if he was given the world's strongest Growlithe or other pokemon that can evolve, he would evolve them at once". "Gotcha," said Meowth "so do you think Jessie and James will go other a different pokemon instead of some brat's Pikachu?" "I doubt that;" said Meredith "those two are so foolish and stubborn and they don't really understand what pokemon the boss would want". "Typical" sighed Meowth.
Meredith and Meowth came to the harbour because they had a boat to catch. "Where are we going to?" asked Meowth. "Porta Vista," said Meredith "there's a gorgeous beach there where I can relax for a while. And there's said to be Tentacool around there". Meowth liked the idea of going to a beach; he hadn't been to one for a long time. So it was vacation time for the duo.
I'm pretty sure that if Jessie, James and Meowth ever succeed of giving Pikachu to Giovanni in the anime, he would evolve it. I'm also pretty sure the trio wouldn't believe anyone if someone told them about Giovanni only wanting Raichus.
