Chapter 7- *With America and Russia-Normal P.O.V.*

In an old mansion that spoke of wonders and haunts, Russia needless to say was absolutely thrilled, but he himself needed sleep. So slept beside his new colony petting his soft head of blonde hair until his hand fell exhausted. It would only seem like a minute until he heard a knock on his bedroom door. Ivan groaned and got up to get ready, but paused noticing America still asleep. 'Poor thing must of been so tired to sleep this much.' Ivan smiled knowing how much amo he could use against the British Empire. It was a shame to have to wake him up. When Toris walked in with a tray of breakfast and placed it on the black nightstand next to the large red velvet colored bed he left immediately. Ivan grinned as he trained the small man well enough to know when he should be silent. He turned his attention back to his new pet.

He shook Alfred softly, "Wake up little one.~" Alfred's eyes twitched open slowly seeing Ivan sitting next to him waiting patiently. "It's time to get up otherwise the day will run without us." Ivan said coaxing the boy as he helped Alfred sit up.

"Ivan? Where are we?" Blue eyes questioned his purple hued ones.

The older nation chuckled, "I believe I answered your question last night. You must have been half asleep. Are you fully awake now to remember?"

Alfred blushed now remembering faintly that Ivan said he was home, but... Where was his brother? "Where's Canada? My little brother?" Ivan looked away as if ashamed. In a way, he was ashamed for not just taking both when he could have. But, maybe in the future he will... With little Alfred's help.

"I'm sorry Alfred, but I couldn't take your brother along with you." America looked like he was about to cry when he was hushed by Ivan, "It was risky enough to bring you safely here, but with your help we could get your brother as well." America swallowed his tears trying to act tough like he knew his mother and brother relied on him to do so.

"What do I have to do?" He demanded his little fists clutching the blanket trying to summon up the courage to do whatever it is he needed to do to bring his family together. At that moment his stomach chose to growl. The tension seemed to be gone as Russia snickered.

"We will get to that after we have eaten breakfast." He assured Alfred patting his head softly like he did the night before reminding Alfred of his mother warmth spreading from his chest as the blush showed on his face. "We have a long day ahead of us, if we are going to rescue your brother." Ivan noticed everything. From studying Alfred's personality so far he would be easy to manipulate into playing "Hero" and would be a real pleasure to train. Handing over the tray of simple food that held a few slices of bacon, scrambled eggs, and glass of milk and balanced it over the boy's lap.

Alfred smiled at the food and looked at the man who kindly took him in and saved him from the green eyed pirate. "Thank you. Why have you been calling me Alfred? My name is Little Sun or America. Were you half asleep when I told you a long time ago?" He teased the older man.

Ivan pouted as he raised the tray away from America's lap. "It's what Arthur called you. Forgive me, but what do you prefer me to call you? Choose wisely otherwise you might not get this tray back.~" The threat seemed light to the boy not being able to sense the mood around him said, "America... But, Alfred is fine if you like the name for me." At that Ivan set the tray back down pleased. "Eat up little Alfred. You're going to need your strength." He whispered the last part into his ear making the boy giggle for it tickled. 'I can't wait to shove this into Arthur's face in the future.'

"Okay!" Alfred ate up with little manners for he was hungry having so little food in the past month or so being with the British Empire on a ship. 'Don't worry Canada... I'll save you.' While he ate he continued to wonder how on Earth his younger brother was and how Ivan would help him get him back. He paid no attention to the older man as he left the bedroom to tend to other duties. Mainly involving getting a place ready for his new Russian Colony. Ivan grinned at his plans being set in motion for world domination. America's trust? It was all just too easy really, what was that saying again? Like taking candy from a baby.

*After Breakfast-With Alfred-His P.O.V.*

I loved this food! Ivan is so nice... I wish my brother were here to be with us... But! Ivan said he would help me get him back! I can't wait! I already finished the food. So should I wait for Ivan? I really have to use the toilet though... I heard the door open and saw him. He wore his usual kind smile for me. I smiled back. "Hey Ivan?"

He cocked his head toward my direction, "Da?"

My face flushed in embarassment. "I need to use the toilet. Can you show me where it is?" Ivan patted my head with a "Of course." and I jumped off the bed as he showed me the small room that connected to his bedroom. Everything is so shiny! I'm used to dirt and forest. Not all this shiny stuff. He showed me the toilet and shut the door for my "privacy" as he put it. I felt nervous to use it, but I really had to pee! So, I finished my business and told Ivan I was done.

He gave me this questioning look. "Did you wash your hands?" I stared back and looked up toward the "sink" next to the toilet.

"I can't reach it." I pouted. He saw how little I actually was and chuckled. "I'll grow up soon!"

"I hope so." He answered back smiling as he took out a sall step stool for me. I worked with handles and water came out! Amazing!

"This is so cool Ivan! So much new stuff I don't really know what their called, but I'll learn!" He patted my head. He has a nice habit of doing that, but i don't mind.

"And I can't wait to teach you Alfred..." I was also getting used to my new name. The name sounded right coming from him.
