A/N1: I'm back to finish what I started so long ago. I would advise you keep an eye on the Achilles Stratagem as the stories are intertwined (at least in the ending parts).

Disclaimer: The characters of Doctor Who belong to BBC Wales and those of Stargate to MGM but the words are mine.

AU/SG1/DW: The last address of the Stargate opened on a depressing, dim world full with nothing but graves and tombstones where four SG teams already disappeared without a trace. SG1 embarks to locate them only to witness the opening of one tomb that holds the greatest of all secrets in the universe.

The Tomb of the Doctor

Chapter 12

Previously:

"Dylan," The purple being, named Trance Gemini, called.

"Trance, what is it?"

"A vessel will come through,"

"Are you sure?" Captain Beka Valentine asked. She also stood checking the data but nothing indicated a ship was to come.

"What kind if vessel is it?"

"A leviathan,"

"Ok so it is big." Harper reasoned.

"Not exactly," Trance replied in her usual mysterious way that intrigued them all.

Not too soon she said it a vessel did emerge. It was surprisingly maneuverable. It was long and had two large tentacles ending on its rear. It was biological but also registered as a ship.

"The vessel hails us." Andromeda reported.

"Open channel." Captain Hunt ordered.

"Teal'c, Daniel, Cameron, are you there boys?"

Daniel and Cameron's hearts jumped to their throats. It was the unmistakable voice of Vala Maldoran. Teal'c stood in his usual manner where nothing can surprise him.

"Yes, we are here." Daniel replied.

"Vala, how did you find us?" Cameron asked. "And what the hell is this thing?"

"This thing has a name - Moya and she is very sensitive of being called thing."

"Details," Daniel interrupted. "But Cameron is right. How did you find us?"

"That is a long story. Why don't you come aboard? Oh, and Cam, please do not freak out too much."

"Why?"

"You will see."

"Right,"

"Trance, thank you!" Vala said and severed the link.

All heads turned to Trance but she stood just as baffled as the others. She did not know how this Vala knew her enough to even thank her. But something told her she was about to find out.

And now:

Vala arrived at the command deck some time later. Daniel and Cameron still wondered of her warning but greeted her graciously. And then Daniel noticed what Vala had in mind. Behind Cameron another stepped in and he looked just like Cameron.

"Cam, this is Commander John Crichton."

Cameron turned around and faced himself. Well, it certainly looked like him but it wasn't. There were subtle differences – the manner he walked and observed. He was not the usual military uptight type. Not that Cameron was uptight but he was military and sometimes he noticed the way he walked and did things. It was rather distinct.

"Commander, hugh?"

John Crichton eyed his other self and quickly made the same assessment – uptight, military and looking for signs of weaknesses to explore.

"Colonel then, ha, I would have never joined the Air Force."

"Didn't meet the criteria?"

"No, I am simply smarter and wanted to use it for something better."

"Cam, John is like Sam."

"Scientist?"

"Astronaut and yes a scientist too,"

"He helped me get here."Vala said.

"Through the wormhole," Daniel observed. "Interesting feat,"

"I could say the same for you lot, artificial wormholes…"

"And what would you call the one you came through?"

"Natural,"

"Daniel, John can navigate them and anticipate them apparently."

"Where did you obtain this knowledge?" Trance asked. She had become intrigued by this one.

"The Ancients of my universe gave it to me. Not that I'm too grateful for that."

"Why not?"

"Well, it is because everyone now wants it too and is chasing my ass all over the galaxy for it, among other things."

"It is dangerous knowledge."

"Yeah, right, why?" Cam asked.

"This ability allows him to navigate between space, time and different time lines. It can also be used to create a weapon of terrible power." Trance replied earning a stupefied look from John.

"Yes, it can." John said after a while. It seemed this strange creature called Trance had vast knowledge. Actually, he had the feeling she knew exactly what his knowledge can lead to. It was a strange experience. Still, he only agreed to this so he can find Aeryn. "Vala, I hope you haven't forgotten our agreement."

"What agreement would that be?" Daniel asked.

"I agreed to help him find my counterpart." Vala replied cheerfully. "It would seem that mixing up the realities has gotten all of us relocated to different universes or realities."

"How do we fix it?"

"Only one can fix this one!" Trance replied. She had a strange sensation ever since meeting all of them. She knew now why Vala would thank her eventually. And most importantly, now she knew why Crichton was here. He could navigate their way back to the nexus point.

"I'm not sure what to do." John said.

"Your job is not to fix this, Commander Crichton." Trance said. "Your job is to get him there."

"Him who?" Daniel asked perplexed of this highly cryptic reply.

"Exactly," Trance replied.

Dylan knew Trance could get mysterious every now and then. When she is unwilling to say out loud, it was because it tackled future events and it was best not to utter them just yet. He understood she waited for someone to arrive.

"I don't understand." Daniel said.

"You don't have to, Dr. Jackson." Dylan intervened. "I trust Trance's instincts on this one." And then he turned to her. "When will he arrive?"

"Now you are both speaking in riddles. He – Who?"

"The Doctor!"

Daniel, Cam and Vala recognized that voice at once but it was Teal'c who confirmed it.

"Colonel Carter,"

"Hello," She greeted them.

"The Doctor? Doctor Who?"

"That is a complicated question, Daniel." Samantha replied. "He dropped me off here so I can find you, Trance Gemini."

"And you have but where is he?"

"That is also complicated." Samantha said. "He said you are to contact the council of Suns and bring them to the tri-axial nexus, whatever that means."

Trance stood pensive. This Doctor's knowledge was scary. The tri-axial nexus was where the three galaxies intersect – Andromeda, Triangulum and the Milky Way. But it was not place for anyone. And how would this doctor find it and be there?

"The Doctor has his way of getting there." Samantha said as though she has read her mind. "He also said we have to be there too."

"I'm afraid you do not understand what sort of place that is." Dylan interjected. He had visited that place and to be honest he had no desire to return to it.

"If we have to be there then we have to." Samantha countered. "Commander Crichton, will you take us there?"

"If you would tell where there is?"

"The tri-axial nexus is where the three galaxies intersect." Harper replied. "Milky Way, Andromeda and Triangulum,"

"These galaxies have no common point." Daniel said.

"Their gravitational fields intersect in a single point called the Tri-axial Nexus." Andromeda explained.

"Oh," Daniel exclaimed. This was new information for him and apparently for his colleagues.

"Which ship will we take?" Cam asked. He was actually quite impressed with the Andromeda and after he was explained how these people travel (in their slipstream) he wanted to try it out. Also he was not sure that Moya would appreciate the nexus itself. He found she had trouble flying through those wormholes when the Pilot explained Crichton's knowledge.

"I believe Captain Hunt's vessel to be sufficient for this task." Crichton said. "Moya is an organic ship and may not survive the conglomeration of gravitational fields."

"So you can take us there?" Samantha repeated her question.

"Yes, I believe I can. But we have to wait for a suitable wormhole."

"Wormhole?" Harper asked.

"Why not use slipstream, Commander?"Andromeda asked ignoring Harper.

"While your way is very interesting and relying on sound judgment, the wormhole will bypass the effects of the nexus and put us exactly when and where we need to be." Crichton replied.

"That's insane." Harper protested. "Slipstream can do the same."

"As I said, it is very interesting, Mr. Harper, but it is not as precise. Slipstream requires someone with intimate knowledge of the when and the where throughout history and adamant will to get there. And as I understand, there is no one onboard your ship with the required ability."

"Well Trance can…" Harper proposed.

"No," Dylan countered. He knew Harper was right. She did possess all necessary elements but he questioned sometimes her motives. The last time they let her drive they ended up in the past at a time to fulfill prophecy at the Witchhead Nebula. That was a painful experience. And Dylan had no desire for Trance to do something similar.

Crichton sensed some trouble related to Trance's abilities. He understood what she is though he had trouble wrapping his mind around it. Still, it was remarkable. He had met many strange aliens but none compared to meeting the avatar of a Sun.

The mission itself was also unclear to him. He would have no trouble getting them there but he did not understand the purpose of it. He also did not understand Dylan's fear of that place and it was probably for the best. There was so much mystery.

Yet, he met a significantly different version of Aeryn in the face of Vala Maldoran. He met also another version of himself, totally different from him and yet not so much. They both shared a passion for the adventure the stars offered. And then there were these people onboard a sentient ship and though the Andromeda was not Moya they shared common traits.

Each party seemed to enjoy different elements of everything that at first glance had very little in common but a thorough look and a point of view linked them inexplicably accurately. (The Andromeda Ascendant was a warship driven by an AI designed to form relationships with its crew) and (Moya, a Leviathan – a living ship with the same directive). Their propulsion systems while so different - the slipstream and his wormholes were ages apart and yet had so much in common (the ability to navigate not only through space but through time). And then there was his counterpart where he travelled through an artificially created wormhole with the same ability.

And in the middle of all this (what he learnt from Vala), there was a strange device that shattered reality. She called it a Blue Box. And that was the strange part. He had heard his Ancients speak of it with reverence he had never heard before or after. It was also one of the reasons he chose to help her.

But young Mr. Harper was wrong; his wormholes were far more precise to travel through. And while wormholes can be affected by gravitational anomalies, they were going to drop them right in front of that place but with one small difference. He could see whether they are alone or not because the closest realities to that place will show him what to expect.

He was certain Andromeda's sensors were very advanced but they could not anticipate events and the wormholes' realities can.

"Get ready," Crichton announced. There was one coming right now. "Wormhole, in four, three, two, uno – now!"

Everyone looked and to their astonishment a wormhole appeared.

"Romie, get us in!" Dylan ordered.

"I have to be at the helm." Crichton said and moved to the control console. Andromeda lowered the navigational console. And Dylan briefly explained the controls. "Here, we go!"

The Andromeda Ascendant changed heading and the wormhole swallowed her whole.
