Ahsoei: Okay, I tried making it as original as I could, but it's different from other since it was more the Gremory's problem rather than Kazuki so it had to be closer to the canon, unless I focus more on Kazuki like I did for Lancelot in The Magic Knight; but I can't since the story is named The Twin Dragon, so there are parts that have to focus on both of them.
Bladewolf101: That will be during the Loki incident, both Kuroka and Kazuki having a lemon must depend on the situation.

Ancient Sith Tulak Hord: The main would be Raynare. You are correct, both their fighting styles are different from one another: Issei relies on his overwhelming power as the Sekiryuutei and uses his [Boost] to double his base powers combined with his (questionable power-ups). Kazuki, on the other hand, is a well-rounded fighter who seeks to improve his natural abilities and expand his own power and skills. I always thought that someone who wields the Divine Dividing should fight like that.

Syrzost: Thanks, it was one of my first stories in DxD, but this was before I started to get used to writing stories like this.

"Hey, nice to see you all again," he said in a kind tone but got nothing but silence from the people he was attempting talking with. "Not that you will respond back."
Kazuki spoke to a group of past possessors of Divine Dividing, after waking up this morning, he found himself like always sleeping beside both Raynare and Irina. Once he noticed that it was nowhere near time for either of them to wake up for school.
He decided that it would be a good time to dwell inside of Divine Dividing with the help of Albion in order to find some new possibilities after being told that by Azazel once before. Kazuki dove through the darkness until finding himself inside of a vast white space filled with tables and chairs. Sitting in them were a number of different people male, woman, young and old.
Each of them held a blank yet dignified look on their face, but despite the efforts that Kazuki put into conversing with them, none of them ever respond.
"None of them are really responsive are they?"
Kazuki question out loud as he stood in front of one of them were clothed in royal wear, but he seemed to have a well-built figure under his clothing. Despite Kazuki snapping his fingers in front of his face, he didn't get a response.
[They are nothing more than fragments of the people they once were, they only respond once you use the Juggernaut Drive and they attempt to devour your life-force.]
"That sounds ominous," Kazuki replied as he looked around this white space. "I wonder if all of the Sacred Gears have a space like this."
[The Strongest Possessor of Divine Dividing, the Valkyrie, Ingrid had interpreted this space as the representation of the infinite possibilities of the sacred gears. Ingrid was an interesting one who searched for brand new methods of using Divine Dividing but would normally be hindered by the hate intentions of the past possessors. Though, I find it odd.]
"What?"
[You met up with Lancelot, but Ingrid still hasn't revealed herself. Among the past possessors, only those two would be the ones who could retain their normal consciousness thought due to the strong will that the both of them possessed when they were alive. Especially, since you have been here for almost twenty minutes and I would have thought that she would have approached you by now. Ingrid was the kind of person who would explore anything that caught her interest.]
"Now, that you mention it, I haven't run into Sir Lancelot and I don't think that he has passed on," Kazuki replied as he thought about what he was going to do. "If I can't progress any further due to their influence, then I have to somehow get rid of hatred within my past senpais. I mean, I was able to unlock your [Reflect], but that was after my body is similar to your old one. If I want to get anywhere in mastering my Longinus, then I'll have to master the normal abilities of the Divine Dividing, then the abilities of Balance Breaker Scale Mail…if I do that, then I could definitely find some result. Training my body more would be a great idea too as I can bring out better results. And of course, I'll need your help with that Albion."
[Hahaha, of course. As always you're finding new ways of fighting, but you should be getting out of Divine Dividing soon unless you want to be late.]
"Alright. Let's go."
Deciding that it was time to leave, Kazuki was enveloped in a white light before his form left the white void inside of Divine Dividing. Once he left, particles of white light appeared around one of the empty seats further away from where Kazuki stood. It soon took form as a familiar individual dressed up in a tuxedo was Lancelot who had a normal look on his face.
"Well, our little junior has gotten stronger," Lancelot spoke in an ecstatic tone as he was happy to see the current possessor of Divine Dividing progress to this level. "That's good to see, maybe…no, I believe he'll definitely succeed in what we failed to do. What do you think, Ingrid?"
After that single question was asked, a series of light particles formed around the seat in front of him forming into a beautiful silver-haired young woman with a graceful almost divine face who could attract the attention of any man; the young woman donned a modified Valkyrie armor like that of Rossweisse, but hers had a mixture of brilliant white and silver that possesses the mark of a dragon adorned on her chest plate.
As already said by Lancelot, this woman was indeed Ingrid, the Strongest Female Hakuryuukou, who was in a totally different league compared to Lancelot. Once she took a seat, Ingrid looked towards where Kazuki had left with a slight smile on her face.
"Albion certainly found himself a good host, nice, talented and very cute," Ingrid said letting out a very disappointed sigh. "He's definitely the kind of guy I would've gone for…if I was alive. Aw, what a shame. If my memory is correct, you left Arondight inside of one of the light feathers of Divine Dividing, then Kazuki found it."
"I found a way to put Arondight inside one of Divine Dividing's energy feathers, it remained even apart of it even after I died," Lancelot replied glancing towards Ingrid. "Due staying inside of the Divine Dividing for that long it was continually bathed with the power of the Hakuryuukou, but I don't know if he's aware of that yet. So, will you reveal yourself yet?"
Hearing his question, Ingrid stared back at her fellow Hakuryuukou with a mystifying smile.
"No, I don't think that it's time for that yet. I would rather watch over his progress, besides there is something interesting occurring with one of his possibilities," Ingrid replied picking up one of the empty wine glasses and started to move it as if swishing around its contents. "You know the thing that I loved most about wielding Divine Dividing?"
"What would that be?"
"All Longinus are scalable and expandable. In their base state, they're already powerful, but after their user awakens Balance Breaker they increase to a great degree along with the abilities that their possessor can manipulate," Ingrid said as the glass started to shine with a bright light. "What I love most is how they can take-in their holder's own abilities and creativity, then becomes the conduit to make their desires…."
Shine! Once the light dimmed, what appeared in the glass was wine.
"…and make them a reality."
"*Yawn* So, what time is," Kazuki questioned as he returned from inside of Divine Dividing, but he felt that there was some extra weight on his waist that wasn't there before. "What's this?"
"Good Morning, Kazuki-kun~"
Dressed in nothing but black lacy underwear, straddling his waist and starting down at Kazuki with an erotic look on her face. It was a usual occurrence for Raynare to be dressed in a manner like this while sleeping next to him and he was just about used to this by now, but Kazuki wasn't too used to this. From this point of view, of her slender form and smooth silk-like skin together with her large breasts that were barely contained in her bra.
Kazuki would be lying if he said that he was never attracted to Raynare. Not only was she one of the beautiful and attractive women around him, but she assisted Kazuki in a number of ways as he awakened his sacred gear. Though, his thoughts were stopped by Raynare who proceeded to move around her hips on his waist in a provocative fashion attempting to get a reaction.
As she continued to move like that, her breasts bounced in motions causing his attention to be drawn primarily towards them as if being hypnotized. Catching at what he was staring at, Raynare stared back at him with an erotic look.
"Oh~ My what a perverted angel you are," she spoke in a sultry tone as she begun to rotate her hips getting a reaction from an important part on Kazuki's body causing her face to turn bright red. "I heard that reincarnated angels couldn't fall from doing something like this."
"Raynare-chan," though Kazuki knew that this was a somewhat daily thing for her, he thought that there was another reason for her actions. "Does this have anything to do with me promising to take Akeno-san on a date Sunday?"
"No," Raynare answered as she glanced down at him, but that was a half-lie. Raynare crossed her arms under her bust further emphasizing them. "I'm not happy about it, but I guess that I can't say much about it since I wouldn't want you to break a promise. That is one of the things that I like most about you, but I can't just help but to show you just how appreciative I am of you."
"Hmm, why?"
Flap!
Raynare suddenly unfolded her six black fallen angel wings, Kazuki stared forward and he really couldn't tell why, but somehow her wings only further enhanced her beauty. He couldn't help but be almost mesmerized by her form.
"When I was a fallen angel, I used to be mocked by a number of other high-level fallen angels do to being as weak as I was. There were some people who called me [Lord Azazel's Errand Girl] and the [Chore Girl]," Raynare started to list out the names that were given by a number of fallen angels in the Grigori organization as she lamented who she was previously. "I thought that the previous fight with Gadreel would be the last thing that I would do, but then I was saved by my white knight. If it weren't for you, then I probably wouldn't have gotten this far as a fallen angel."
Raynare smiled down at him with a bright smile on her face.
"That's weird. I was going to say something similar."
Hearing what he said, Raynare stared at him with a confused look.
Kazuki sat up with the covers coming off of him revealing his naked upper half showing off his trained chest. Due to the sudden move, Raynare almost lost her balance if it wasn't due to Kazuki holding onto her waist with one of his hands. Both of them faced one another with her large and soft bust pressing up against his bare chest causing the sensation to reach him.
"During the time of our first date, if you didn't warn me, then I would have died," Kazuki replied in a tone that relayed his compassion towards her. "If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have become the Hakuryuukou. I wouldn't have had been reunited with Iri-chan and everyone else. You were there at the beginning supporting me from the start and I couldn't have asked for a better vice-leader."
Hearing those words from him caused Raynare's eyes to widen slightly out of shock, while both of her cheeks were reddened. She had never heard those kinds of words from anyone her entire life, but hearing it from the person that she held a deep affection towards made the past insults vanish away like the night being taken away by the brilliant light of the sun. Flowing from her eyes was a waterfall of tears that were a pure happiness and not sadness.
"Kazuki-kun! I promise that I will become the strongest vice-leader that our team needs!"
Raynare wrapped her arms around Kazuki and vowed.
She was surprised as Kazuki moved forward pressing his lips against Raynare's soft lips causing her to be slightly confused by the sudden action, but she later melted into it. This would make the second time that both of them had kissed one another. As both of them continued their make-out session, it advanced to their tongues starting to wrestle with one another for a long period of time with Raynare running her hands through Kazuki's unkempt brown hair.
"Nnnn."
Neither of them noticed that there was a soft noise coming from next to them, as Irina woke up and let out a loud yawn wearing a see-through pink negligee.
"Good morning~" Irina said in her cheerful tone as she turned towards Kazuki expecting a kiss, but she instead noticed that he and Raynare were kissing instead. "Raynare-san, I wanted to be the one who wanted to kiss Kazu-chan!"
Raynare smirked at the tone that came from her and moved away from Kazuki with the long thing that linked their tongues were their saliva. She licked her lips enjoying the sensation of Kazuki's, then turned towards Irina winking at her.
"Sorry~ Irina-san, but first come first serve."
After hearing that Irina pouted causing Kazuki to look away with a nervous smirk on his face, but he continued to keep his attention on both of them.
"But, I am Kazu-chan's girlfriend," Irina proclaimed in an angry yet cute tone. "I should be the one who gets to have his first kiss in the morning, then…I should be the first to become tainted by him and have the children of the Heavenly Dragon for Heaven."
Hearing Irina's response caused Kazuki to become a bit surprised.
"Ara, that sounds a bit naughty for an Angel," Raynare replied in a tone matching a Fallen Angel and she started to crawl towards Irina with a seductive look. "Though, I did hear that Brave Saint won't fall if they did naughty things with someone that they truly loved. So, that means that I shouldn't do this!"
Saying that Raynare vanished at god-speed causing Irina to be surprised as it is faster than what she could accomplish. Though, Kazuki could follow her movements clearly and sighed out loud. It was just as he thought, Raynare appeared behind Irina with her both her hands wrapped around her large breasts causing the young angel to blush out of embarrassment.
"Oh~ For a member of the Church, I didn't expect for you sleep without wearing a bra~" Raynare said in her ear in a sultry tone as she continued groping Irina. "You know for a long time there has been a lot of times when the female Fallen Angels would compare their breast size whenever we bathed together. And from want I can tell, these are around 87 cm."
Raynare continued to grope Irina's breasts using her hands, even reaching into her negligee to get a closer feel causing the angel to blush a deep shade of red. The fallen angel continued teasing her and nibbled on her ear causing Irina to moan, then she moved her hands to the tips of her both of her breasts.
"Iyaaah! Raynare-san! Please stop!"
Irina yelled out and moaned at the same time causing Kazuki to blush from what was happening at the moment.
"Alright, Raynare-chan that's enough."
"Fine fine, I was just playing."
Raynare said in a playful tone and let Irina go who ran behind Kazuki, she starred at Raynare who waved her hand.
"No one, but Kazu-chan can do that!"
Irina proclaimed as she pointed her finger towards her.
"I was just playing around, I don't like girls like that, but if it were for Kazuki-kun, then I could get into that for him," Raynare said with a faux embarrassed tone. "Just think about it Kazuki-kun, me and Akeno, having two fallen angels…alone all to yourself."
Being a person who used his mind, Kazuki couldn't help but think about having both of them at the same time causing him to gain a deeper blush at the idea. Though, he shook it off and stared at both of them with more of a serious look.
"Why don't we all get dressed for school before we're late?"
Hearing that from him, neither could disagree with him and so both left to their rooms in order to get dressed for school.
After getting dressed for school, the first ones to leave the house were Kazuki, Irina, and Raynare, while the Gremory Team were just a ways behind them. After the incident that had happened this morning, Irina and Raynare both had a tight grip on his left and right arm prospectively. Irina was giving Raynare a competitive look, while the latter was making a confident smirk on their face.
"I won't lose to you when it comes to gaining Kazu-chan's love! Both of us has been in love with one another since childhood!"
"Is that right, Mrs. Self-Proclaimed Childhood Friend?"
Hearing those words felt as if a knife was just stabbed in Irina's chest causing her to almost burst out in tears―no she did burst into tears causing Kazuki to let out a nervous laugh.
"I'm not a self-proclaimed childhood friend…I am his childhood friend!"
"Self-Proclaimed Angel."
"I-I am an Angel! Kazu-chan tell her."
Raynare laughed at the reaction that Irina was giving causing, while Kazuki glanced towards the fallen angel letting out a slight sigh.
"Raynare-chan, stop using that to fully Iri-chan."
"Hahaha! I'm sorry, but I couldn't help it. Xenovia mentioned that whenever she says that, then she would react like this. So, I couldn't help but say this."
Irina pouted after hearing that Xenovia has informed Raynare about that little weak point of hers, and in order to comfort herself, she hugged onto his arm even tighter.
"Good Morning~ Onii-san~!"
A familiar voice belonging to a female came and wrapped their hand around Kazuki's, he turned his head with a smile noticing that it was indeed Mittelt smiling at him with a look that a little sister would give.
"Morning my darling little sister."
Following behind them was Sieghart, Asuna, and Konoka who all waved at him with a smile on their face (except for Asuna who simply looked away and waved). In the far back, Kazuki could see that both Yumi and Kiba were just walking with one another and talking happily. He could help but feel relieved that the twins were happy with one another again like this. And he assumed that Nagi had already gone ahead to school as he was a teacher.
"I finally get to walk to school with Onii-san like this," Mittelt said with a cheery tone to match her expression. "Normally, that damned cat would get in my way."
Mittelt said that last part in such a low tone that even Kazuki couldn't hear it with his heightened hearing. Seeing that look on her face, Raynare stepped away from her with a smirk on her face.
"What's wrong Mittelt? Getting jealous of our little White-Haired Neko~"
After Raynare stepped away from him, Kazuki felt an even softer feeling on his arm accompanied by a person with breasts bigger than even Raynare. He looked and noticed that it was Kiyoko who wrapped her arms around him with her usual emotionless look on her face.
"Hello, Kiyoko-san. How are you this morning?"
"I'm doing alright. I'm grateful that Yuuto-san had cooked breakfast for us all."
"Normally, you wouldn't expect that a guy like him would know how to cook."
Sieghart added letting out a hearty laugh, but it caused Asuna to glance towards him with a really annoyed look on her face.
"I don't think that an idiot who only knows how to punch things can talk."
"I don't think that such a brutish girl like you have to right to talk."
Sieghart and Asuna started throwing more comments at one another, with Konoka attempting to be the mediator between the two of them. Hearing the commotion caused Raynare to glance towards them, but instead caused her line of sight to be directed towards Kiyoko who was now holding onto Kazuki's arm.
"Huh?! Kiyoko?! What're you doing?! I was hugging onto Kazuki-kun's arm!"
"You let go of his arm. So, I took reign of this arm."
Hearing the response from her caused Raynare to make an angered look on her face. After seeing that expression on her face, Mittelt let out a mocking laugh.
"What's wrong Raynare? Getting jealous of our little Silver-Haired Raijū~"
Mittelt had returned the same response that Raynare gave her about Koneko, but she shook where she stood as said older fallen angel stared at her with a glare filled with anger. And with one swift single movement, Raynare pulled Mittelt by her cheeks and even lifting her up from off of the ground with a dangerous smirk on her face.
"You really have become a cheeky little girl."
Her tone of voice was cold enough that it caused a number of them to glance in her direction, but the only one among them who maintained their composure was Kiyoko.
"Okay, why don't we all just head off to school?"
Kazuki said in order to defuse the situation, and everyone followed that order, but there was still an air of killing intent in the air directed at Kiyoko who refused to let go of his arm.
"If I remember right, don't we have a class trip to Kyoto?"
Those were the first words that came from Sieghart as he leaned against the tree and eating from the lunch that he and the others received from Kiba before leaving, while those who lived the Hyoudou Residence had their own (or in Kazuki's case he was given his bento box by Akeno and said that it was from his mother, so that he wouldn't cause any unnecessary trouble).
It was the lunch break for the students and most of them were sitting outside eating the lunches that they all had brought with them, while those who didn't have were inside the cafeteria getting their school-issued lunches. All of the members of the Avalon Team + Irina (except for Nagi, Kiyoko, and Mittelt) were sitting together dressed in their summer school uniform due to the temperature.
"Yea," Kazuki replied as he took a bite out of the chicken, admitting that it was delicious in his head. "For the second-year students, we have a trip to Kyoto. It would be good to head back there and see Yasaka-san again. And to actually tour around Kyoto without being attacked."
"Hmm, who is Yasaka-san?"
Raynare glanced towards Kazuki with suspicious eyes by how happy he was about it, the latter had glanced away with a look of nervousness on his face. Konoka who was sitting next to them had made an ecstatic look on her face.
"Yasaka is the nine-tailed kitsune and the Leader of Youkai of Kyoto," Konoka replied with a smile on her face. "She is super duper nice, a great leader, and awesome parent to her daughter."
Kazuki sighed in a bit of relief after hearing what Konoka said, thinking that she would instead end up saying something that would ignite a fire, but that relief was in vain.
"Yasaka is also an extremely beautiful woman with breasts that I think are bigger than Akeno-san. I think that she was even in the same room as Kazu-chan."
"I see," Raynare said in a low tone glancing at Kazuki with a dangerous smile on her face. "Kazuki-kun, would you please explain yourself?"
The look that Raynare sent towards Kazuki that he could feel on the side of his head as he continued eating from his bento box. Despite how "kind" Raynare sounded, Kazuki could feel the coldness that came from her tone with a mixture of jealousy from a girl who found out that the boy she liked was with another girl (or in this case an experienced woman).
"So, what groups are you all forming?"
Kazuki asked everyone else dodging the question that Raynare had asked.
"Kazuki-kun…we will talk about this later."
"Hahaha," Kazuki let out a nervous laugh. "So, I might end up getting stuck with Onii-san and his two perverted friends since there aren't a lot of people that I can partner up within our classroom."
"Kazu-chan can partner up with me, Xenovia, Yumi-chan, Asia-san, and Kiryuu-san."
Irina said as she hugged into the side of his arm with an energetic smile on her face.
"So, either way, I end up being stuck with the female equivalent of Onii-san," Kazuki said as he had glanced away with a nervous smirk. "But, Kiryuu-san is a little worse than due to that little fact that makes her worse than Onii-san."
"But, we would be with one another and to go on a date with one another."
Her cheeks were dusted red as she thought about all the good time that the two of them would have in Kyoto with one another. Irina stared at Kazuki with loving eyes causing him to stare back at her with a similar look on his face. Both Raynare and Yuuma stared at the two of them with a somewhat jealous look on their face.
"Could you two get any mushier," Asuna added as she stared at the two now blushing couple with an uneven look. "I swear if I were to stand around the two of you like this any longer…."
"You would get a lot softer and sweet."
Punch! Dodge!
Asuna threw a sharp and fast punch at Sieghart with her fist wrapped in a mysterious aura that gave off an odd presence, it was without a doubt her inborn trait. Without a moment's hesitation, Sieghart dodged it by moving his head back but noticed that the force of that punch caused a gust of wind to form forcing some of his food out of his bento box.
"Ah! What a waste!"
Sieghart made a sharp complaint after seeing him make a somewhat annoyed look on his face with Asuna laughing at a bit after seeing his expression.
"Hahaha, how do you like that?"
"You can't just waste food like that?!"
"Well, I wouldn't have had done that if you hadn't dodged?!"
"What kind of insane bastard would have taken a hit from an ape?!"
Everyone stared at the two of them as there continued to argue with one another, but this one was a bit more intense than their other arguments.
"Hahaha," Yumi laughed in a nervous manner similar to her older brother after seeing both of them butting heads with one another. "So, while the two of them fight with each other. Kazu-chan, is there anything that you wanted to inform us of as your team?"
Yumi asked with a curious look on her face. After hearing that from her, Kazuki made a look as if he had just remembered something important that he wanted to tell everyone.
"Thanks for reminding me, Yumi-chan. You're awesome like always," that compliment from Kazuki caused the blonde to smile and for her cheeks to turn red. "I was given something by Sirzechs-sama before the start of the Sports Festival."
Hearing that from Kazuki caused everyone aside from Sieghart and Asuna who were still arguing to make a surprised look on their face.
"What was the present," Raynare questioned with a curious look.
"I actually got my own territory somewhere in the Human World," Kazuki replied with a smile on his face much to the surprise from his teammates + Irina. "I know, I was surprised to. I was thinking that when we had time, all of us would go and check out the location."
"Ah, that sounds amazing, Kazu-chan!"
Irina said in an energetic tone causing Yumi to nod her head in agreement.
"I never thought that you would receive your own territory despite not being a Devil. Once again, I am amazed by the kindness of the Devil King, Sirzechs Lucifer." Sieghart said after hearing the last part of what was said by their leader, while he was arguing with Asuna until the last moment. "Sirzechs is actually completely different from what I heard about in the Church, but it's not like I believed in everything that I was told most of the time."
"So, when are we going to go to this territory?"
Asuna questioned with a slight amount of annoyance still remaining after her argument with Sieghart just a little while ago. It was a good question as Kazuki had thought about the same thing as he hadn't even seen the territory just yet. But there was a lot of things that all of them needed to do in school, so they couldn't just skip and Sona wouldn't be so happy about that.
"I don't think that Sona-san would like us skipping school, so we'll just check it out in detail when we are on our next day off," Kazuki informed them as he continued to finish his food. "Speaking of Sona-san, she has been avoiding me for a while and gets embarrassed whenever I try to talk to her…that's odd for her."
"I can't wait to see this territory," Irina said in an energetic manner before she placed both her hands on the side of her reddened cheeks as a thought came to mind. "I wonder if we could live there."
"My, aren't you becoming more forward, Irina-san."
"I'm also interested in seeing this territory, I wonder how it will look."
Everyone on his team started to talk about seeing this territory for themselves and he couldn't help, but feel the same way about it as them.
Once school was over, everyone who didn't have any kind of club activities went home, while those that did had went to their club. The Basketball Club were inside of the gym using it for their practice after doing a couple of drills as a warm-up, but they weren't the only ones inside of the club.
""Kazu-chan! Do your best!""
"Go! Go! Kazuki-kun!"
"Go! Onii-san!"
"Go! Kazu-chan!"
Irina and Yumi were cheering for Kazuki in a loud manner along with Raynare, Mittelt, and Konoka.
"This is the first time that I am seeing a practice like this," Kiyoko added as she glanced down from the stands and saw Kazuki huddling with his team after all of them split up into Team A and Team B. "Oh, should I also cheer along with them?"
Kiyoko wondered as she hadn't been in a situation such as this before and couldn't think of what to do, but Asuna glanced towards her and waved her hand.
"I wouldn't it isn't really fair when one team as an Angel Dragon on their side. So, there isn't really a point in cheering."
"Way to be a buzzkill Asuna."
"Shut it, Sieghart!"
Kiyoko stared at them with a wondering look on her face and asked a question that has been on her mind for a while.
"Do you two like each other?"
""What?!"
Both Sieghart and Asuna made an almost mortified look on their face after hearing that question, but Kiyoko continued on what her question.
"The two of you are always arguing with each other and I read somewhere that whenever two people who like one another does that, it usually means that they like each other. If that's true, then I give you two luck in the near future."
Hearing Kiyoko's near emotionless response about their "relationship" along with her regards, both Sieghart and Asuna had begun to somewhat blush as a stained look started to form on their face.
""We don't like each other! She/He just gets on my nerve!""
Sieghart and Asuna shouted in unison causing Kiyoko to step back a bit letting a confused "Oh?" out of her mouth. She did except that kind of reaction from them, but what Kiyoko didn't expect was the
"Wow, you're really grabbing a lot of attention Taichou."
"Doesn't it feel good to have a bunch of cute girls aside from your girlfriend cheering for you?"
"I wonder if they could dress up in cheerleader uniforms."
Kazuki who heard the comments from his teammates (from the Basketball Club, not the Avalon Team + Irina) started to let out a nervous laugh.
"Alright, guys get your head into the game," Kazuki said gaining their attention. "Okay, this is what we're going to do—"
Kazuki started to go over the game plan with Team A, while Team B went over their own game plan to defeat their opponents. Once their planning was finished, the game between both teams started to commence. As captains of Team A and B, both Kazuki and the other Basketball Club member stood in front of each other with the Nagi (who arrived to act as the referee) stood in front of them with the basketball in his hand.
"Okay," Nagi said gaining their attention. "Get ready! One! Two! Three! Go!"
After throwing the ball into the air, Nagi stepped aside letting them jump up into the air. Kazuki had jumped at the same time as the other captain and was the first one to knock the ball towards one of his teammates who caught it. Though, the others on his teams knew that this wasn't the full extent of his physical abilities.
Since Kazuki knew it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the players since he was an angel and dragon, he placed a magic seal on him that would limit his physical prowess to the level of a human. After one of his teammates caught the ball, they started to dribble it to the direction of their hoop, but players on Team B were in front of them stopping the player from going any further.
Though they just stopped moving and passed it to Kazuki who was on the other side of the court and was further from the hoop. Thinking that he couldn't make it on time, the players on Team B took their time surrounding him in order to get the ball. But, Kazuki stood where he was and jumped into their air throwing the basketball in the direction of their hoop.
As it sailed through the air, the basketball made it giving Team A their first point and causing all the players on Team B to stare at him in shock. None of them could question why their coach decided to make Kazuki the captain of the Basketball Club. The game continued him with the girls on Kazuki's side continued to cheer on his team as they came out the winners in the end.
"Wow, that was an amazing game Kazu-chan!"
Those were the first words that came from Irina as Kazuki walked over towards them without sweat on him. It wasn't surprising as he trained with the Strongest Dragon King throughout the duration of the summer break.
"I'm surprised," Asuna stated with a surprised look. "I didn't expect that you would be that good, not that I know that much about Basketball."
"I wouldn't expect anything less from our team leader."
Sieghart added with both his arms crossed and a confident smirk on his face, but just as all of them were standing around complimenting him on the game―
BEEP BEEP
All their phones went off at the same time as if they were synced with one another, and without even reading it, they knew what it meant.
"Alright," Kazuki said in a more serious tone. "I'll tell the members that they can leave home and lock up before leaving, the rest of you head to the location sent to our phones."
[Right!]
Agreeing with Kazuki, everyone did as he said and started to head out towards the location sent to their phones, while he informed the Basketball Club members that they were allowed to leave early.
In another part of Kuoh Town, the Avalon Team + Irina stood in front of an abandoned warehouse, it had been almost run down from not being used with the sun starting to set. All of them were dressed in their perspective battle outfits with Kazuki glancing towards Kiyoko.
"Kiyoko, how many people are inside of the building?"
"Hmmm," Kiyoko started to sense their presence inside of the warehouse after pulling out her youkai parts. "There are eight humans in total, three of them are sacred gear users and five Magicians. Inside there are numerous creatures with a dark presence around them…I can't recognize their presence as being neither humans let alone any kind of other even supernatural creature that I encountered in the past."
"So, Kazuki-kun how should we proceed?"
Raynare questioned as she glanced towards him as Kazuki thought about the plan on the way here, but wanted to get Kiyoko to sense out the presence of those inside before continuing inside.
"Okay, this is what we're going to do," Kazuki said as he glanced towards them. "Acting as Vanguard will be Siegfried, Raynare, Yumi, and I. Acting as Middle-Guard will be Irina, Nagi, and Kiyoko. And acting as Rear-Guard will be Mittelt and Konoka, who will be defended by Asuna using her ability to negate supernatural powers. Kiyoko can you also put a barrier around this warehouse so that he will not draw attention from civilians?"
"Of course."
Everyone later felt an indescribable sensation as if they were transported to another space, the mood and air itself changed. Aside from Lightning, Senjutsu, and Youjutsu, Kiyoko learned how to perform Space-Time Manipulation letting her create barriers in a similar manner to Kuroka, though unlike the latter, she could control time as well.
"Alright, everyone let's go."
[Right!]
After receiving orders from their leader, everyone started to storm the warehouse from the front door of the building. Stepping inside the warehouse, the took notice of the three men clothed in uniforms that belongs to the Hero Faction, one of them was someone that Nagi recognized as the person who had attacked him during the summer break; just as Kiyoko said there were five Magicians clothed in their robes with their face covered and around them were numerous humanoid creatures that stood all around them as if waiting for orders.
"Oh, if it isn't the younger brother of the Sekiryuutei, the Hakuryuukou."
The man in the middle with snow-white hair said as he glanced towards Kazuki with a snide look on his face.
"And you lot at from the Khaos Brigade…no the Hero Faction. If neither of you wants to get hurt, then I suggest that you retreat."
"Hah! Do you think that we would do as you say, just like a dragon….especially the Hakuryuukou to be so cocky? You even believe that since our leader as a soft spot for you that means, none of us inside of the Hero Faction feels the same way!"
"I wouldn't really say that I'm being cocky, it was just a suggestion," Kazuki said with a slight smile on his face as he reached his hand out opening a tear in space and pulling out Arondight. "I may not be the overseer of Kuoh Town, but I am a resident and the Joker of Gabriel. So, I won't allow you to do what you desire in my hometown."
Taking that as a signal to start the fight, a cold chill started to cover the man who was talking with Kazuki and ice started gathering until it turned into a giant bird made out of ice. Kazuki rushed at the white-haired man whose bird stood behind him flapping its winds letting out a cold presence. At the same time, his teammates started to battle against their own opponents.
"Go, my Freezing Archaeopteryx!"
The white-haired person called out, following his order to bird opened up its mouth and fired off a wide ice beam from its mouth. Following the direction of the attack, Kazuki unsheathed Arondight unleashing a holy wave from its blade causing an explosion of icy mist that caused the ground under them to freeze due to the low temperature. After seeing the smallest disturbance inside of the mist, the man held his hand out and as if following his unspoken command, the bird formed dual blades made out of ice from one of its feathers.
Once Kazuki came out of the icy mist, both he and the man started to get into a sword fight with one another. Using his two blasts, the white-haired man started to launch a barrage of slashes at Kazuki, but each of them was counted by the latter using trained precision and technique.
Meanwhile, Sieghart was charging at his opponent who already used his Balance Breaker, his Bestial Armor to cover himself in a dark beast-like armor. He launched his fist forward at Sieghart, who later smirked at the attack and launched his fist forward. Once the two fists made contact with each other caused the air to vibrate after they collided.
The man grunted under his helmet as he continued to get into a fist fight with Sieghart, he later aims his right leg at Sieghart's side after launching a feint. Though, he easily read his intent and blocked it using his forearm, and using a sharp punch he aimed his fist at the face of the man cracking apart his helmet showing his face.
"Bastard!"
"If I lost in a fight against a man like you, then my old man won't let me hear the end of it," Sieghart said at first but stopped after thinking about what he said. "Actually, now that I think about it. He'd probably just stare at me with that classic blank face of his, then walk away."
"Who the hell are you even talking about?!"
"It wouldn't matter to you anyway, it's just me rambling on about my personal life," Sieghart said as he smirked a bit in a manner that belonged to a battle maniac. "Though I'm kind of glad that I joined up with the Avalon Team, I really didn't know how much longer I could keep this little secret about who my old man is."
Flame!
Black flames covered Sieghart's fists with a wide smirk on his face with his teeth turning into fangs and his eyes turning gold for a second. Sensing a dangerous presence radiating from his entire body, the man had a chill running up his spine and took a big leap away from Sieghart.
"What the hell was that?! I thought this bastard was an Exorcist, but that presence didn't belong to a human at all! No, I came here to get revenge on that Vampire Bastard, so I can't―"
Not letting the man breath for even a second, Sieghart appeared in front of him using god-speed and he started launching a barrage of punches into his stomach causing the man to spit out blood from his mouth including breaking his armor. The moment, that Sieghart knocked that man unconscious using his attacks, the black humanoids started attacking him and started to combat them.
Some of the other black humanoids started to combat the others, with Kiyoko covering her hand in a lightning aura and taking off the heads of some of the humanoids who attacked her. She later aimed a massive lightning bolt at a large number of them turning up the voltage burning their bodies until nothing remained.
Yumi brought out Galatine and used its "Destruction" to fire off a wave of destructive power that sent them flying into the air, then used "Mimic" to turn its blade into a whip that sliced them through their sides. Another group started to aim attacks at her from behind but were cut apart by Irina who held a blade of light in her hands with her wings unfolded.
Once she landed on the ground, both her and Yumi stepped backward with their backs touched one another.
""Bring it on!""
Both Irina and Yumi said at the same time, with the two of them giggled in a cute manner once they saw that two of them were still in sync with one another.
"If Xenovia were here, then it would be our former trio."
"Then, we'll just have to deal with them with our duet."
""Amen!""
Both of them said in sync again, then started to charge at the humanoids with coordinated attacks, which started to reduce their numbers one after another. The magicians also joined and started to launched a barrage of magic attacks at Kiyoko, Irina, and Yumi, but each was blocked by the barrier that Nagi has formed. He formed a series of magic circles and fired off a barrage of attacks that broke apart the barriers that they formed to defend.
While they were distracted dealing with the two sacred gear users, the last remaining one stood in front of Konoka and Mittlet who remains as Rear-Guard carrying a unique looking staff, while being defended by Asuna who had her large sword in her hand. Asuna later felt an empowering feeling as if her physical abilities were being enhanced. After she glanced back, Asuna noticed that it was due to Mittlet using support magic, while holding an odd device in her hand.
"I can at least do this much to support you Asuna-san."
"Thanks! Now, let's do this…creep!"
Without thinking, Asuna charged forward slashing her sword downward causing the man to block it by using his staff, but it felt the impact in his arms as they started to lose to her in force. But, despite this, the man smirked with an almost cocky look on his face.
"What's with that smirk?"
Beep! Beep!
The device in Mittlet hands started to go off showed the data concerning the staff in his hand, once she noticed the image, her eyes widened.
"Asuna-san, the staff in his hand is a [Sealing Sacred Gear] named Trick Vanish."
"Too late! We're going to test and see if your little trait can be sealed with my Trick Vanish."
Shine! As soon as Trick Vanish started to glow with a purplish light starting to circle around Asuna with a series of ominous markings starting to be traced across her body. Despite him feeling a hint of intense exhaustion after using his sacred gear, he let out a cocky laugh.
"Hahahaha! So, even with that pathetic―"
"Pathetic what?"
The ominous markings stopped tracing across her body as a mysterious aura covered her body until all of them vanished altogether. The man stared at her with a shocked look on his face, but he later felt a sharp pain at the back of his neck and fell forward with his eyes becoming dazed. After falling on the ground, Asuna looked and noticed that Raynare had knocked him unconscious.
"Sorry about that, Asuna-san," Raynare stated in an apologetic manner after bowing her head. "This guy escape after those magicians blindsided me and it took me awhile to get past those guys. Huh? What is this…?"
"Huh? It is getting colder in here?"
Chill! Freeze!
The two of them noticed that there was a thick pillar of ice appearing in the middle of the warehouse and noticed that there was a person inside of it. Their eyes widened after noticing who was inside of the thick pillar of ice.
"Is that Kazuki-kun?!"
"Hahahaha! The Hakuryuukou was too arrogant! Thinking that he could beat me without his sacred gear, but look out him now."
The white-haired man proclaimed with his Freezing Archaeopteryx flying behind him, but there was a number of injuries on his body along with tears in his uniform. He soon stopped laughing after he noticed Kazuki glancing towards him and his eyes seemed to turn into slits. The ice soon began to melt from the intense amount of heat being generated from his body before the pillar of ice broke apart with a single burst of pressure generated from Kazuki.
"You can't even compare this ice to that of Tiamat."
Kazuki said he stared down at the white-haired man who stared back at him with a look of hate in his eyes. However, it soon turned into shock as he lost track of Kazuki, who soon appeared behind him, the white-haired man turned to face him. He stopped after realizing that Kazuki aimed his fist, which was wrapped in a white dragon aura nailing the man in the stomach causing him to spit out blood from his mouth as he was launched towards the warehouse wall cracking it.
"That attack wasn't enough to kill you, but I wouldn't move if I were you."
"Ngggggggggggggggh! Damn you, Hakuryuukou!"
Flash!
Chill! Kazuki sensed an odd presence from both the man and his Freezing Archaeopteryx, as both of their bodies were wrapped in a bluish white light. As soon as that light covered him entirely a magic circle that looked to belong to fallen angels appeared under his feet and teleported him out of there.
"Was that a forced transport, none of the others were taken away," Kazuki said as he started to think about the situation and noticed that neither the sacred gear users nor the magicians were taken away by the magic circle. "Wait, that feeling felt similar to when I achieved. No, I'll think about that later after this battle is over."
After they finished their battle with the Hero Faction members, they sent them off to the Underworld to be interrogated and everyone started to head home as soon as the sun went down. Switching from their battle uniforms to their school uniforms so they wouldn't draw any attention.
"Well, that took a while to finish."
Sieghart said in a loud tone as he stretched his arms, but he looked as if he were refreshed not tired.
"I gotta admit we all did work together as a team despite fighting a couple of battles with each other."
Asuna added as she glanced away with a somewhat embarrassed look on her face.
"That's right, Asuna-san. The Avalon Team as the best members there are!"
Konoka proclaimed with her usual cheerful look on her face.
"Though, things did feel a bit weird."
Nagi added after seeing the antics of his friends who walked alongside them.
"What do you mean Nagi-san?"
Kiyoko questioned.
Hearing their conversation going towards that subject, Irina had held her hand out.
"I think the actions of the Hero-faction are 'weird' if they came to research about us or to defeat us."
After hearing that response from Irina, everyone stopped and stared at her with a somewhat stunned look on their face.
"I mean the Sacred Gear who went up against Kazu-chan was an Ice-Type. And the Sacred Gear user than went against Asuna-san was a Sealing-Type. Because if they really are planning to defeat us, then I think they would've made more battle tactics after two or three battles. Then they would attack us seriously in the fourth battle, right? But even in the fourth or five times, they attacked us, nothing changed. I did think they are just being very cautious but…. How should I put it…. It seems like their bosses are doing some kind of experiment."
"I did think that it was odd, but why would they sent a bunch of guys after us just to lose in the same way again?"
"I think that the guy who was leaving achieved his Balance Break just before being forced back."
Hearing Kazuki's answer, it caused all of them to glance towards him with a somewhat shocked look on their face as none of them noticed it due to being caught in their own fights.
"That would be more understandable. Achieving Balance Breaker by sending their Sacred Gear users up against powerful opponents," Nagi said after putting a hand under his chin. "Hakuryuukou, me a Shinso-Human Hybrid, the descendant of Siegfried, the Twilight Princess who can cancel powers of the supernatural, a Raijū, a Healer with exceptional magic power, and two fallen angels who started to awaken their potential."
"So, these guys are treating like rare monsters in a game for gaining EXP."
"Doing something like this could affect the balance in the Human World, it could also cause issues for the Sacred Gear System in Heaven if Balance Breakers just keep popping out of nowhere."
Kazuki said in a worried manner as he thought about the issue of Balance Breaker users coming out of nowhere, especially since that phenomenon was supposed to be rare. He decided to talk to Azazel about it when he saw him again.
Beep! Beep!
Kazuki later heard his phone going off and reached in his pocket to fish it out, then noticed that he got a message from [Hyoudou Issei].
"Nii-san?"
Once Kazuki opened the message, he read it with serious eyes before it turned into pure shock after finishing it as the side of his mouth twitched.
"Kazu-chan what's wrong?"
"I gotta…get home."
Kazuki said in a dry manner causing everyone to stare at him with a confused look on their face as he continued to walk forward as if he were a zombie.
[Kazuki. What's wrong? This doesn't seem like you.]
"Nii-san told me that there is a program that we're apart of and that I would need to see it for myself to believe it."
[Huh?]
Albion replied in a manner that showed his confusion, but that program would be the beginning of a mental damage for the Heavenly Dragons who held a deep amount of pride in being dragons.
A/N: And there goes chapter forty of the Twin Dragons, I'm sorry that it took me a while to finish this chapter, but there was a lot that I needed to do and the keyboard for my laptop stopped working. But, in this chapter, it showed Kazuki inside of his Divine Dividing trying to find a new way to power-up by convincing the past possessors but coming up with nothing. After leaving, we got to see Lancelot and the strongest female Hakuryuukou, Ingrid who talked with her fellow former Hakuryuu. Kazuki later woke up finding himself in a situation with Raynare with a moment between the two of them before being interrupted by Irina.
At school everyone did their usual thing talking about the upcoming school trip, then went onto the Basketball Club practice with everyone cheering for Kazuki. It went onto their own battle with some members of the Hero Faction revealing some sacred gears that we are familiar with, but in the end, the Avalon Team + Irina won. Well, I don't have anything else to say about this chapter except for the "Surprise" that Kazuki will run into once he returns home. PS: the harem down bellow will be the final lineup for both Issei and Kazuki, I promise.
