A One in a Millionth Chance

*This is a Klaine and Blellie story. Weird combination, I know, but I had an idea. It may start out as confusing, but it'll become clearer.

*I don't think that there will be POV's, but it will focus on one of the main 4 characters in each chunk of the story. I might do POV's when something important happens though.

*So, every chapter is going to be titled. The title is going to be based off of a lyric of a song, or song title, that I think fits the chapter.

*This chapter is titled by the lyrics of 'Perfect Two' by Auburn

.Kurt.

"NELLIE!" Kurt shouted from his room "RACHEL!" Kurt added as he dug through his closet "HELP!"The two girls rushed into his room with concerned expressions. Kurt looked up with a scared look "I have no idea what to wear!"

"Are you kidding me?" Rachel asked as she placed her hands on her hips, obviously annoyed.

"I'm serious!" Kurt said and ruffled through his closet "Everything's wrong!"

"Okay, one, don't yell out 'Help' when you only need outfit help" Nellie gave him a look and he shrugged apologetically. "And two, you work for a fashion magazine. This is coffee, you should be able to find the perfect outfit"

"But everything I thought was 'perfect' just looks like I'm….trying too hard"

"Blaine's going to like you no matter what you end up wearing" Nellie commented "You could show up in sweats and he would still sit and have coffee with you." Nellie smirked softly "The man wears bowties"

Rachel giggled and then pushed Kurt to the side to get to the closet. "Hmm, so it's coffee. So, you want casual but still...nice" Nellie and Kurt turned towards her with shock evident on their faces. Rachel heard a silence and then she turned around and raised an eyebrow "What? I'm right, aren't I?"

"Yes…" Kurt trailed off "But that scares me even more…"

"What do you mean?"

"Rachel you wore animal sweaters and plaid skirts in high school" Kurt pointed out and Rachel huffed in annoyance.

"Hey! It wasn't all of high school! It was just freshman and sophomore! I got a lot better in junior and senior year!"

"Yeah, but I still had to deal with those outfits for 2 years."

"Oh, how did you live?" Nellie butted in sarcastically and Kurt sent her a glare

"You're just lucky you didn't go to school with us"

"I guess I am" Nellie smirked and Kurt slapped her arm in annoyance "Hey! Who was the one that introduced you and Blaine?!"

"You do realize I could change the story and say that it was Blake. It would make sense, after all" Kurt smirked right back and Nellie frowned

"Whatever, you know the truth! It's my fault you're going on this date, so you're welcome"

"I would shut it if you want a date with Blake" Kurt snapped and Nellie opened her mouth to retort but Rachel hushed them both as she continued to shuffle through the millions of hangers.

"Okay, if I picked something out, you would hate it." Kurt nodded in agreement as Rachel continued to look. "How about you grab a couple outfit you think would be good, and then you put them on for me and Nellie to judge." Kurt sighed but nodded anyway, knowing he had no other option.

4 Outfits Later….

"I told you it's all wrong!" Kurt exclaimed and then flopped down onto his bed. Nellie giggled at him as she sat a couple inches away from him.

"You've only tried on 4 outfits" Rachel complained "Come on! There has to be something!"

"There's nothing!" Kurt exclaimed "I have to meet him in…" Kurt glanced over at his alarm clock resting on his bedside table. He saw the time and quickly sat with wide eyes "20 minutes!"

"Okay! Try on your last outfit and me and Nellie will try to find a back up just in case that last one doesn't work!"

Kurt groaned and grabbed the outfit Rachel had tossed beside him and trudged to the bathroom.

"Sorry, I'm so late!" Kurt exclaimed as he rushed into the coffee shop and over to Blaine's table. Blaine looked up and smiled

"It's alright" Blaine smiled "I'm just glad you showed up"

"Why? Were you doubting that I would show up?" Kurt raised an eyebrow

"Little bit" Kurt gave him a confused look.

"Why would you think I would stand you up…?"

"I don't know….you just seem too good for me" Blaine replied honestly and looked down at his coffee cup. Kurt reached for his hand and then smiled when Blaine looked up at him.

"I promise that I'm not too good for you. I actually feel like I'm not good enough for you" Kurt confessed and Blaine raised an eyebrow.

"That's crazy"

"So was your little confession" Kurt smiled and then pulled his hand back so he could stand up. "I'll be right back, I'm just going to go get a coffee. You need a refill?" Blaine shook his head.

"Do you want me to get your coffee? I'd be happy to pay" Blaine smiled brightly and Kurt shook his head.

"It's fine. Honestly I should've bought your coffee, since I asked you out" Kurt smirked and Blaine frowned

"Hey! It was my idea first! We were getting along so well that I forgot! You beat me to it!" Blaine exclaimed defensively and Kurt let out a laugh.

"Okay, but if this relationship works, I'm saying that I made the first move" Blaine chuckled

"I barely know you, but honestly I feel like you probably will do that" Kurt smiled and then walked off to the counter.

/

"We have a slight problem" Kurt said as he sat back down across from Blaine. Blaine raised an eyebrow, hoping Kurt would continue, and luckily he did. "Blake and Rachel are here"

"What?" Blaine asked in shock.

"I was getting my coffee and then I saw them. They don't know that I know they're here." Blaine nodded "They're obviously here to spy on us"

"I'm surprised that I didn't see them. I've been here for a while"

"They probably got here early." Then something clicked in Kurt's mind "That's why Rachel left so soon!"

"What?"

"Rachel and Nellie were with me before I came down here, and then I when I went to get ready, Rachel just left. Nellie said she had no idea where she was going."

"So, do you think Nellie's apart of this little…spy plan?"

Kurt shook his head "No, she doesn't like to meddle. Or watch people…she always feels guilty" Kurt smirked "We once spied on one of Rachel's dates and Rachel didn't know, until Nellie cracked and told her out of guilt" Blaine chuckled.

"So, she's got a conscious"

Kurt laughed "She feels guilty when she takes the last cookie when someone else wanted it"

"Seriously?" Kurt nodded and Blaine let out a laugh "So, I'm guessing she probably never snuck out when she was in high school"

"You got that right" Kurt snorted and took a sip of his coffee. "She told me that she got out once, and her parents had no idea, but she told them anyway because she felt super bad" Blaine laughed and Kurt smiled "So…"

"You know I have an idea…" Blaine's eyes sparkled as he turned subtly to get a glance of Blake and Rachel. Kurt gave him a look, clearly intrigued.

"And what is this idea…?"

.Nellie.

"Hiya Nellsie!" Shanna greeted as Nellie walked into the small café. Nellie smiled at her and then walked up to the counter "The usual?"

"Yes please" Nellie smiled again and dug around her purse for her wallet.

"So, how's life been since you started being Blaine's back-up singer?" Shanna asked as she started up the drink.

"Perfect. Blaine's sweet and I actually set him up with my gay roommate Kurt, they're on a date right now" Shanna grinned and let out a tiny 'Aww' and then Nellie continued "And I'm pretty sure my other roommate Rachel is spying on him right now"

"I remember Rachel!" Shanna chirped "She's kind of…no offense, but…crazy" Shanna waited a small moment, afraid Nellie would freak out.

"Oh, I'm not offended. Me and Kurt call her crazy pretty much every day" Nellie grinned and put a five dollar bill on the counter. Shanna walked away from the blender and took the money, giving Nellie her change back. Nellie just took the change and stuffed it into the tip jar. "Gotta pay for that wedding somehow" Nellie winked and Shanna laughed.

"Thanks Nellie. I wish all New Yorkers were like you"

"I don't. I want to be the only Nellsie!" Nellie joked and the two girls laughed.

"Shanna!" Both girls turned around and saw a man with curly brown hair and brown eyes. Nellie didn't know who he was, but she soon figured it out when Shanna squealed and then ran out from behind the counter and kissed him.

"Hi, Michael!" Shanna said as she hugged him tightly

"Hey" The man smiled and then his eyes flickered to Nellie "Sorry, didn't realize you were with a customer" Nellie smiled softly at him and he smiled back.

"It's okay, Michael, I was just visiting with Nellie. Michael, this is Nellie, remember, I told you about her, she's Blaine's new backup singer" Michael smiled and nodded as he stuck out his hand, which Nellie shook "And Nellie this is Michael, my perfect fiancé" Shanna grinned brightly, her blue eyes full of happiness

"Nice to meet you" Michael smiled

"You too," Nellie smiled back "You two are a very cute couple"

"Aww, thanks Nellsie" Shanna gushed and then pulled away from Michael and walked back behind the counter. "So, Nell, before I forget, I wanted to ask you if you've met Blaine's roommate"

"Actually, yes I have. He actually works for my roommate Kurt"

"So, Blake works for Kurt, and Kurt's on a date with Blaine right now, and you're Blaine's back-up singer. And then Blaine is Blake's roommate." Shanna confirmed and Nellie nodded

"It's like a web of friendship…it's very confusing"

"Hey, if Blaine and Kurt are on a date right now, that means it's a more than friendship web" Shanna giggled

"You could say that…and now Kurt and Blaine are bugging me because apparently me and Blake have feelings for each other"

"Oh my!" Shanna said her Southern accent coming through a little more than usual "This is like a romantic comedy!"

"How is it a comedy?"

"Well, you're roommate Rachel is a little crazy, so that's your dash of comedy" Shanna joked and Nellie laughed.

"Actually, I'm pretty sure everyone in the web is the comedy part" Nellie smiled at the thought of last night and every random thing that had happened. From her spilling orange juice, to Kurt asking Blaine out instead, to Rachel talking to Puck on the phone for hours because of the picture Kurt sent Puck. It was all pretty amusing…

Now if she could just have the romance…

.Blake.

Rachel let out a squeal and Blake glanced her way. "They are so going to get married!"

"Rachel, relax, it's only their first date" Blake rolled his eyes but smiled none the less.

"Still! I can already see their wedding! It'll be so elegant because Kurt, of course, will plan it! Oh my God! I'll be their wedding singer, of course! And you'll probably be the best man! Unless, you know you're not in the picture anymore"

Blake gave her a look "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Well, you and Blaine have been best friends since high school, so you'll probably get tired of each other soon and one of you will probably move out of your guys' apartment" Rachel explained as she kept her eyes glued to Kurt and Blaine.

"Excuse me?" Blake glowered at his crazy friend "Men don't get tired of their best friends, only girls do that" Blake snapped

"Well, it's too bad that you're not a man, then, isn't it?" Rachel retorted and then sent him a smirk.

"Funny, Rachel, you're freaking hilarious" Sarcasm was dripping from his words and Rachel sent him a glare and then simply smiled.

"I'm quite funny, aren't I?"

"And crazy..." Blake added in a hushed tone. Rachel's head snapped over to look at him and she smiled evilly.

"I'm going to tell Nellie you said that and then she'll never want to date you"

"Okay, one, I just met the girl, I have no rush to date her"

"Lie"

Blake just acted as if he didn't hear that and continued "And two, she probably won't care. You heard her the other night, she and Kurt call you crazy all the time"

"Which I really don't understand, since I'm not crazy…"

Blake let out a snort and then took a sip of his coffee "You're insane, Rach. I was literally afraid that you would stalk me when we first met"

"Hey! I thought you were cute, that's not a big deal!"

"You showed up everywhere I went…it was creepy"

"I didn't try to show up everywhere you went! Some of that was a coincidence!" Rachel defended

"Sure…."

"Shh!" Rachel shushed and directed her attention back to their two friends. "They're laughing and I want to know what they are laughing about!"

"They're probably laughing about how their roommates are watching them from a couple tables away"

"Please! They don't know it's us!"

"Rachel…Kurt looked at us and then smirked. He knows it's us and he probably went back and told Blaine"

"No he didn't see us."

"I don't even get why you dragged me down here to spy on my friend and my boss having a coffee date. Blaine will probably just tell me about it anyway." Blake groaned "Plus, I'm not a girl and want to know every single detail"

"Yeah you do" Rachel said without looking at him.

"No, I don't. I wanted to respect their privacy and just wait to see if it went well. Not come and spy on their date"

"You're just saying that so if they do see us, you can tell them that. And then Kurt and I won't spy on your date with Nellie" Rachel smirked and took a sip of her coffee.

"What date?!" Blake exclaimed "I haven't asked her out yet!"

"Ha!" Rachel grinned "You said 'yet'! That means you want to ask her out"

Blake groaned again "That's seriously what you got out of what I just said?"

Rachel pretended to think for a moment. "Yep, pretty much"

.Blaine.

"Okay, that is a genius plan, I'm upset I didn't think of it"

"You can take credit for it" Blaine smiled and Kurt smiled back.

"This date is going so well, almost a shame we have to blow it off for a plan"

"Remember, it was your plan" Blaine winked and Kurt rolled his eyes but laughed anyway. "So, you know what we're going to do, right?"

"Yep, let's go" Kurt smirked and the two of them stood up and walked over towards their to friends who saw them and quickly acted as though they weren't just watching them.

"Hey, guys!" Kurt smirked "What are you doing here?!" Rachel gave him a look and silently asked what the hell he was doing. "See Blaine, I told you it was them"

Blaine saw Blake nudge Rachel and then she sent a glare at him "Wow, you're right! Did you guys come here to spy or something?" Neither of them said anything "Because there's nothing to spy on" Rachel's head snapped up and she looked between the two of them

"What are you talking about?" She asked with large brown eyes.

"We don't…feel a real connection…" Kurt said and shrugged "We can still be friends, but it just wasn't….there"

"But you guys were laughing! And flirting! And smiling! You guys were going to get married!" Rachel exclaimed and Kurt placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Honestly Rachel, we're not that torn up about it, so you shouldn't be"

Rachel looked at them both and then folded her hands onto the table and buried her hand in the small pillow she created. Blake patted her back and then looked at his boss and his roommate. "So…was it bad…or what happened?"

"We just didn't feel attracted to each other anymore"

"Really?" Blake raised an eyebrow, obviously skeptical. Both men nodded and Blake stood up. "Well, okay, well, I'm going to take Rachel home. Kurt I'll see you Monday, Blaine I'll see you home" Both men nodded and then the two of them left.

"Poor Rachel, doesn't even realized I lied to her" Kurt smirked and Blaine laughed

"Blake's suspicious but he won't act on it." Blaine added. Kurt smiled as Blaine turned back towards him.

"So…when will our next failure of a date be?" Kurt asked jokingly and Blaine laughed

"Depends on what you're doing tomorrow"

"Well, nothing…yet"

Blaine smiled "Then it's a failed date"

"Great"

"Great," Blaine repeated "I'll text you, k?"

"Okay" Kurt smiled and leaned against the table that their two friends had just occupied. "I'll talk to you later" Blaine smiled and nodded. And with that, he started walking towards the door. Kurt sighed happily and then he was broken out of his thoughts when he saw someone approaching him. He looked up and was shock to see Blaine standing there. Kurt raised an eyebrow and then it was answered by Blaine's lips covering his.

But hey, he wasn't complaining.

Sorry it took so long! Hope you liked it :)
