Chapter 3: The Battle Began

We could see our favorite heroine resting on her bed in Jian Ye, she wasnt asleep though. No, she had the dream that involved the same blond man from her dreams. She laid there, doing nothing but staring at the tiger ceiling while trying to figure out who was that man, 'Maybe he is the one who can broke the spell' she thought as she blushed badly.

She unconsciously bought her hands up to hide her face, 'Why must it be a man? Why can't it be a girl where that would be more appropriate?' She thought until she realized something, 'Of course... I'm a girl now, and girls go for the big boys. But I'm also a boy!' She sighed heavily and loudly as she pulled we hands off her face. This time, the dream was about her male form literally clutching to the other man.

The training that Yue Ying gave her was ruff and tough, no mercy for the weak. She was glad though, she had gotten used to the body faster thanks to that but it caused some problems for the people the surrounded her... ESPECIALLY Liu Bei since he was a true gentleman.

One time, she had mood swings. First she was happy that her body was adjusting well with his male mind but then cried heavily as she didn't want to be a girl forever. Liu Bei, being a true gentleman he was, tried to inform her by saying things will be ok and took her for a walk.

It took her at least 3 hours to stop sniffling and thanked Liu Bei while saying she was sorry for troubling him. He just shrugged it off and said he had a good day with her, taking a walk in the cities, buying food and clothes, even buying some weapons. Even though Liu Bei was kind, his mind was saying, 'She bankrupted me' hundreds of times.

Zhao Yun bought lots of cloths in the clothing store and she had a very ferocious appetite, Yue Ying had warned him about the mood swings but he didn't mind one bit. It was fun to say the least, he thanked her for the day before leaving towards his room mumbling, "I won't be feeling my legs tomorrow"

That was probably one of the most embarrassing moments of her life, she blamed all of it on the spell. Once that incident was over, she had been a shopping maniac like most girls are. Loving shopping and pretty things like flowers and nail polish, she even had silver with dark blue root like pattern nails when Yue Ying came to her with make up.

Her nails were long but not long enough to unable her to pick something up, she thought it was actually beautiful as it glittered on the dark. But she was a bit worried about the battle tonight, even if her monthly time had decreased greatly there were still some left in her... Ahem, private part.

She couldn't slept it over as she stood up an looked over the window, it was almost sunset, 'Its time' she thought as he picked up her armour and put it very slowly. She was still wasn't used to seeing her body naked as, you all know, she was actually a he before and not to mention he was a gentleman before, 'I hope I won't do anything stupid...' She thought as she grabbed her spear and walked outside towards the nearby stable. She looked for her horse

"There you are, you silly girl. I've been looking all over for you" the snow colored horse made a sound, showing her happiness after seeing her. Preparing her things to go to battle, she strapped the saddle on to the horse's back and packed her healing items like bandages and a few alcohol bottles inside.

The only problem she had now was mounting, she had grew... Or shrunk in her case a lot shorter than her make counter part. Approximately 165 cm women form than her 185 male form, she was like around 15 cm shorter, 'This might be a problem' she thought as she braced herself and lifted her right leg since she was on the right side of the horse, she knew she had a problem then as she was too scared on leaking, 'This is harder than it looks' she thought until a pair of hands helped her mounted the horse perfectly

"Ah!" She almost screamed, "Forgive me miss, but you were having trouble on mounting a horse. I thought I should help" the man behind her said. He was a brown haired man, with red armor and a white cloth as the outer shell. A handsome face (like she would say that out loud) and was holding a very long staff. She knew the man, it was the Handsome Zhou Yu

"N-no it's fine. Thank you for helping me" she said until Zhou Yu got a glimpse of her face, "You are Zhao Yun, yes? I had heard the Battle of Changban didn't go as you planned and was... Um, accidentally cursed by a mystic" he said. She nodded but didn't respond, she did though said, "Please don't remind me of that"

She felt a bit uneasy with him, maybe it's because he was handsome or the fact that they were short-lived allies or probably both. They heard a voice coming from behind them, only to see a girl wearing pink rushing towards them, "Lord Zhou Yu! The battle is about to start!" She said. Zhou Yu nodded and turned to Zhao Yun, "Well the battle will start, I wish you luck on the mission you are assigned to. Lets go Xiao Qiao" they both left her as she rode towards the nearby port

By the port, she saw an elderly grey haired man wearing a green yet elegant armor for its silk cloth as light aluminum metal. Apparently he was waiting for her, "Lady Zhao, you came at last. Now let us set sail" he said as he watched her unmount the horse with very high difficulty

"Do you um... Need some help?" He asked to her gently, "No, I'm fine" she said stubbornly. Her stubbornness as a girl will lead her to her own destruction someday as she fell on the ground, dirt was on her skin until she brushed them away, "Right, lets go"

Ma Chao hated his life, his family was charged with treason as Cao Cao killed every single one of his them. He only managed to survive for this long because he and his cousin Ma Dai were in disguise as merchants, they were currently hiding in a cave. It was bad but was good enough to at least give them shelter, he used the time he had on reflecting his wife's last words.

He didn't liked the memory, he only remembered her last words before she was hanged alive by Cao Cao's men, 'Do not be trapped by the past, Ma Chao. Live and find someone who you could really love, who will be by your side forever, who will live along side you and your children, and who will love you... For who you are' those words kept repeating itself in his mind

He thought what she said, but came to a conclusion, 'There is no way I could find that person... If she were to die while I live, I don't want that kind of loneliness again' he swore to never be married or be in a relationship ever again, he lost so much in just one day. He lost his whole family, his wealth, his lover, everything at the hands of Cao Cao.

Until recently he had been dreaming of a another woman, she was a mistress and a warrior. She mostly wore silver and blue armor, her face was simply breathtaking, her body... Her body was just so... So, lean and smooth. Not to mention very curvy with her large breast and her wide hips

He didn't even know her and yet in his dream, they were close like husband and wife. Kissing and hugging were part of them, the most disturbing part is that she could also turn into a he.

In his dreams he didn't mind if she was a he as he comforted him on a rainy night like he was kidnapped until he saved him. He next thing he knew... He didn't want to remember but something was slightly off about him, 'Just who is this person in my dreams?'

"Young master, what are you thinking?" Asked Ma Dai wearing his usual battle outfit, Ma Chao was caught off guard as he looked at his cousin, "Huh? Oh, nothing really. Just thinking on how to get revenge on that bastard Cao Cao" he said. Ma Dai was taken aback slightly, "Young master, it's the first time I had heard you swore" he said earning a growl from him

"Of course! An asshole of a ruler killed my entire family, how could I not swear when I'm this fucking pissed off!?" He yelled. The other man shuts his mouth, Ma Chao always swore when he's really angry. It happened a lot recently because of Cao Cao, "You should at least calm down a bit, you're growing wrinkles soon and won't find another lady that you could settle down with" Ma Dai said, trying to calm his cousin

"To hell with that, she won't last long before Cao Cao captures and kills her or worst... Becoming his concubine" he hissed. Ma Dai could only watch his cousin in torment, he continued on what he was doing before. Cooking dinner, though he only made a fire and burn down fish next to it. The night continues in silence as Ma Chao slowly drifted to dreamland

P.S Next chapter will be the fight of Chibi, I'll stick to the storyline of DW8 but I'm not good with fights... And guess who took an interest in poor little Yun :3
