Walking On Thin Ice

Walking out of her room, Artemis dressed in much more comfortable and fitting clothes. Wearing sweatpants and a rather long shirt she finally felt covered. Jack grinned slightly at her, he didn't like her attire from before as much as this.

"So..Where you trying to get back at me or turn me on?" Jack asked raising a brow jokingly, Artemis slightly shoved him turning red again. Jack backed away slightly raising his hands up in defense.

"Hey, hey, I wasn't the one who came out here with no clothes" He said with a tinge of playfulness in his teasing matter. Artemis snapped to him bright red, yelling out his name and running after him as he ran on the walls. He was just laughing as Artemis pouted embarrassed, sitting down she crossed her arms, looking away pouting.

"I-i want to go home" She said blankly, Jack then jumped down, his laughter filled expression then turned to a rather upset one.

"Oh come on, I was only joking!" He said defiantly, he stared at her with blue orbs, looking for any signs from her hidden face, he sighed and gripped his staff.

"Gotcha!" She said turning to him giggling brightly. He raised his brows shocked slightly, until they turned to annoyance at her smiling face.

"That wasn't funny Artemis." He said annoyed, she looked over to him with a playful and cute smirk.

"Just like most of your pranks?" She said as it rolled off her tongue. He scowled at her and the two eventually went on to different topics. Somehow landing to teeth, and Jack explaining how he found his memories from the baby teeth. Artemis smiled at him, swaying her feet off the rather high chair.

"Mhh, But i still have one baby tooth!" She announced happily, drawing her lips back and pointing to her second premolar. Jack stared at it rather surprised as she moved the wiggling tooth with her tongue. Closing her mouth, much to Jack's suspicion, she then began to speak.

"Its my last one, and it's really weird too" She said wiggling it with her tongue, Jack wondered why she had never brought this up before, he started to worry and nodded to her. Smiling weakly as they continued to talk, Artemis growing tired soon after. Jack said his farewells to her as she climbed into bed and walked out. He ran his hand through his hair, either he was onto something or he was over thinking everything. Opening up a portal he quickly made his way over to Tooth's place, sure enough she was their busily working, instructing her mini versions of her. She quickly turned to Jack, her wings fluttering slightly faster, not that anyone could tell.

"Jack!" She exclaimed slightly surprised by his visit. Proceeding to ask him how he was, and if he needed anything, slightly smirking he asked her a question even she wasn't expecting.

"Can you read someones teeth?" And with that Tooth looked at him slightly confused but continued to follow up on what Jack was saying.

"Artemis's teeth, she hasn't lost her last one and-" Jack was going to continue but Tooth cut in already knowing the rest.

"And you think because Jamie's teeth have all fallen out, and now he is forgetting means its the same with Artemis" Sighing Tooth led Jack to her Tooth collections, finding Artemis almost immediately. Taking the gold case, she went back over to Jack, smiling slightly.

"Only she can really see her memories, but this is all I can tell you so far" She said whispering to Jacks ears so not even the shadows could hear.

"Her last tooth will fall out after Christmas, you have until then Jack" And with that she fluttered off to continue her work. Jack stared at the gold case, it was similar to his, and the others, but it had her face on it to identify. He didn't want her to forget him, ever.
