OLD AN: Dear Readers… Just to let you know the amazing BLACK FLAMINGO 101 has just started a SIH MPREG based on the "Uke Flu" info in the previous chapter exploring TAKANO and ONODERA's relationship and Onodera's rumored pregnancy and is also bringing in her YUU and HISASHI pairing from her remarkable fic "Always." BF101 is an extraordinary writer and the text and the plot of her UKE FLU: SEKAI ICHI HATSUKOI is crazy tight (makes me hang my own triple heads in humility).

So if you like quality writing and MPREG get your yaoi/mpreg lovin' eyes over there and read her fic… Oh and please be kind enough to leave her a review. The Bird works really hard to give you readers really good stuff… and I mean it's free for crying out loud? So drop her a line and maybe mention the Dog sent you.

P.S. Don't forget ESTELLEJ's OKANE GA NAI: UKE FLU over in that fandom too. She hasn't updated Ayase's case in a while, but maybe with a little reader encouragement she would. (hint)

LET THE EPIDEMIC SPREAD!

Update 5/4/2013: If you haven't checked out TBF101's SIH Uke Flu, I recommend it. And She's getting dramatically close to the end of that story. Plus she updates a hell of a lot more frequently than I do these days.

Happy Reading!

The Uke Flu

Chapter Forty-one: Full House

Outside the Kamijou-Kusama household a heated exchange was taking place, as heated as one could comfortably have with a young child standing right there, anyway.

"What do you mean this isn't your relatives' apartment?" Yokozawa started to shout but then forcibly turned his volume down the minute he saw Hiyori's eyes go wide.

"Like I just said, this isn't my Uncles' place, there is no family get together... well not that kind anyway. I guess you could say we're going to hopefully meet a new family of sorts." Kirishima was completely unruffled by his lover's twitching brow or the vein throbbing dangerously in Yokozawa's forehead.

"Then why in the hel… I mean… blazes did you have Hiyori and me make that special curry?" Yokozawa snarled softly, pointing at the dish Kirishima was holding.

"Because it's a dinner party." Kirishima grinned as he knocked on the door a second time: he'd let Hiyori knock the first time but her tap was so quiet, hearing the murmur of voices on the other side, he wasn't sure if anyone had heard it.

"A dinner party?" A dark scowl formed on Yokozawa's features. "Zen, you didn't…" Seeing the bright smile on his lover's face, thunderheads rolled into Yokozawa's dark gray eyes. "I told you I didn't want anything to do with that!… I mean, I still can't believe you even gave that doctor permission to share our information with someone else!"

As furious as he was, the moment Yokozawa looked down his stern face softened immediately when he saw Hiyori's worried eyes watching the exchange between he and her father. As much as he wanted to, Yokozawa knew too he couldn't just go storming off in front of Kirishima's daughter. He exhaled angrily, knowing he had once again been completely played.

"And you knew about this, Hiyori-chan, and didn't tell me?" Yokozawa felt betrayed by his kitchen cohort. Hiyori's wide eyes looked back and forth between the two men.

Kirishima gave his daughter a warm smile and an encouraging nod.

"Papa said that it was a secret… that it would make you feel better, Onii-san," the little girl said earnestly. "I'm sorry if you're mad."

"Ah… I'm not mad at you, Hiyori-chan." Yokozawa offered her a much milder scowl. Then he glared at the tall chestnut-haired man beside him. "Your papa on the other hand…" He growled under his breath.

"Look, Takafumi…" Kirishima pulled out his brightest smile. "I just thought it would help you to meet some other guys who are in the same situation. It might cheer you up. Besides, you know… I wouldn't have had to resort to this kind of trickery if you weren't so stubborn."

Yokozawa leaned forward and covered Hiyori's tender ears. "I have no desire to hang around with a bunch of pregnant yaois… for one…

"I don't even think that I'm... that way." Yokozawa hesitated before he said this because he knew how foolish it sounded given his history. Then when he saw Kirishima roll his eyes at him, the sales manager added quickly. "And I told you I didn't want anyone outside of us to know about our situation!"

Kirishima looked at Yokozawa, his smirk dropped for a moment and he looked at him affectionately. "I wish you could just accept who you are and not worry about what others think. Yaoi or not, you're the one for me. And as for the other, how much longer do you honestly think you're going to be able to keep this a secret, Takafumi?" He nodded at Yokozawa's protruding stomach.

Yokozawa winced despite his best efforts to remain stoic. It was true; at almost five months it was getting harder and harder to hide his swollen proportions.

Just the other day, in fact, Takano had shown up at the office unexpectedly and invited him to go out drinking. It had been quite a long time since they had done anything socially, especially since Masamune's brat, Onodera, had caught the flu and all its complications as well. While Yokozawa hadn't questioned his old friend about it, if what he'd heard through the Marukawa grapevine was accurate… Takano's little green-eyed spitfire would be presenting his old flame with twins in about five months.

This was beside the point, however. What had really made Yokozawa uncomfortable was when he had declined the offer, since he didn't dare to drink any alcohol at all these days (a fact that pissed him off to no end), Takano had snorted and said it was probably better they didn't go out anyway, given the beer gut his old friend was starting to sport.

Yokozawa had left as quickly as possible after that jibe was followed by concerned encouragement from Takano for him to take better care of himself since he wasn't: "getting any younger and all his bad habits were starting to show on him."

On the heels of this recollection however, rather than admit Kirishima was right, Yokozawa's scowl deepened.

This brought the mischievous smile back to Kirishima's face. The editor inwardly laughed at his lover's dark expression, it made him look so cute. "Besides Takafumi, with as many people as there are in Tokyo, what are the chances you'll even know anyone here?" Kirishima's grin widened as the door before them creaked softly.

Hiroki cautiously opened the door, effectively bringing the discussion in the hall to an abrupt halt. His eyes popped and his jaw dropped in a rather embarrassing way when he discovered two more giants standing there with a small girl between them.

What in the hell are two semes doing together?

The black-haired one, who looked majorly pissed off and radiated something akin to mushroom clouds, was just a shade shorter than Yukina and Nowaki. The lighter of the pair, who looked majorly amused and radiated his own brand of what Hiroki had quickly come to term as "Yukina Sparkles," was just slightly taller than the two high-fiving giants in the kitchen, though still shorter than Keito.

Even more disconcerting than the new guests' towering heights and the seemingly same-seme pairing, however, was the fact that Hiroki knew them both.

While he had never been formally introduced to Kirishima he had seen the man at a couple of publishing events that Akihiko had dragged him along to. And he had been introduced to Yokozawa on a few occasions, at these same events by Marukawa's now presidential pest, Isaka.

Yokozawa, in his business with sales, needed to have a keen memory for client names and faces, and in fact, he prided himself on his excellent recall. As soon as he saw Hiroki, the barest of blushes crept up into his cheeks. His blush deepened when he saw Hiroki's initially perplexed expression shift into sudden understanding when the professor glanced down and immediately noticed his expanded belly.

Yokozawa remained silent as he turned his narrowed steel-gray gaze accusingly on Kirishima.

"What?" Kirishima asked innocently.

Hiroki offered a bow which the trio in the hall returned. "Yokozawa-san, isn't it?"

"Ah, Kamijou-san, how nice to see you again," Yokozawa rumbled politely. Kirishima immediately picked up the strain in his lover's tone and his eyes widened when Hiroki turned to him.

"And you're Kirishima-san, Japun's editor. Correct? I know we haven't been formally introduced before, but you were pointed out to me at a Marukawa event."

"Ah, yes." Kirishima shrugged only semi-apologetically at Yokozawa after straightening, before he set a hand on Hiyori's shoulder. "And this is my daughter, Hiyori. Thank you so much for allowing us to bring her along with us, Kamijou-san."

Hiroki looked at the young girl standing before him; he was trying to do his best to keep his forehead furrow free but it wasn't exactly working. Hiyori offered him a second bow.

"I am so glad to meet you, Kamijou-san. Thank you so much for opening your home up to our family."

Behind her, proud fathers beamed, their disagreement momentarily forgotten. Both were pleased at not only how grown up Hiyori sounded but also of her description of the them as her "family."

At this polite greeting, Hiroki's furrow softened a bit. If the brat maintained such reasonable manners, it might not be too bad for her to be there.

"Won't you come in? I know Nowaki has been very much looking forward to meeting all of you."

The small family moved into the entry to take off their shoes. Hiyori finished first and she and Hiroki moved out into the main room together.

"Do you honestly think this is a good idea?" Yokozawa's expression had slipped from anger (though this still lurked around his edges) to apprehension. Turning to Kirishima, he said in a worried growl, "I mean for Hiyo? Don't you think being around a bunch of yaoi men might make your daughter confused?"

Kirishima looked at Yokozawa with amusement. "Honestly, Takafumi, I don't think that it's Hiyo who's confused here." He reached over and slightly ruffled his lover's head before he headed down the hallway.

"God, you piss me off!" Yokozawa bristled though he followed behind him.

"I know," Kirishima replied mildly, completely unperturbed and then added, "But remember what the doctor said about monitoring your blood pressure and not getting too stressed."

"How can I not, being around you?"

Kirishima just chuckled at this and moved out into the main room.

In the meantime, Hiroki's emergence into the main room with Hiyori just moments before had resulted in an avalanche of seme sparkles.

"You must be Kirishima-chan," Nowaki greeted enthusiastically stepping out from the kitchen. Yukina bounded out like puppy on Nowaki's heels to say "hello" as well.

Kisa who had stayed seated on the couch, watched Hiyori's entrance with an expression of concerned curiosity. It wasn't that he didn't like children exactly; it was just that he'd never had much to do with them outside his family or those of friends and even then his tendency was to leave them to the attention of their parents.

Even after five months of being with Yukina through his pregnancy (though the first three had been unknowingly), Kisa was still having difficulty believing that soon he'd have a child as a permanent part of his own life. Given his previously loose lifestyle, it was hard for him to comprehend how much things (he) had been changing.

Then Kisa heard low voices emanating from the entry way hall. One of the voices in particular brought a familiar sense of panic into his stomach.

"Holy shit. It can't be…" Kisa breathed when he saw the towering Yokozawa and the even taller Kirishima enter the room. Despite the fact that his exclamation had been barely audible, Yukina looked up sharply from where he had been carrying on an animated conversation with Hiyori about the merits of different types of hair scrunchies. This after Yukina had told her he wished he could get his hair to pull back as nicely as hers.

Yukina frowned. Partly because he was shocked to hear Kisa curse in front of such a young child (though obviously Hiyori did not share the same heightened seme auditory senses) and also because he was concerned with how pale Kisa had just turned.

"Kisa-san, are you okay?" Yukina's voice was laden with worry.

Kisa ignored Yukina, his dark brown eyes shot over to Hiroki. "Bathroom?" he choked.

"Down the hall, first door on the right," Hiroki offered looking at Kisa curiously. Kisa was about to make a dash for it, but rapidly sank back down into the cushions, unable to move when he suddenly found himself pinned by a pair of cold gray eyes.

"Oh, Fuck..." Kisa and Yokozawa whispered simultaneously.

The moment after Yokozawa saw Kisa and uttered his exclamation; he turned and moved back into the hallway. Seeing his lover's reaction Kirishima handed the dish of curry to a startled Hiyori and followed. In the entry way the magazine editor grabbed Yokozawa arm as he was stepping out of his guest slippers.

"Takafumi, where do you think you're going?"

"Somewhere other than here!" Yokozawa snapped. "Don't you know that guy on the couch? It's Kisa Shouta. He's an editor and works with Takano in Emerald."

"So?" Kirishima pushed Yokozawa up against the wall in the entry gently with his own body so he couldn't leave. His large hands tenderly grasped his pregnant lover's wrists and pinned them to the wall behind Yokozawa.

"So? What do you think?" Yokozawa snarled though he didn't fight the other man's grip. "I don't want Takano to know. You have no idea how I feel about this…" He looked down angrily at his stomach. "What I'm going through…" Yokozawa turned his head away from his lover's piercing gaze. He shut his own eyes when he felt Kirishima let go of his wrists and a warm hand brush his cheek. Kirishima leaned in and whispered into Yokozawa's ear.

"You're right Takafumi. Even though I have Hiyo, I have no idea what you're going through… What you're feeling. But I can tell you, I know exactly what I'm feeling right now." Kirishima brought his lips to the side of Yokozawa's neck and kissed him.

"Stop that!" Yokozawa barked in a hoarse whisper, pushing back suddenly. "Not here!" He gasped and shivered as Kirishima ignored his protests however, grabbed both wrists again, and kept kissing up his neck. Then Kirishima placed a nipping kiss on Yokozawa's earlobe.

Yokozawa stopped struggling when he heard his lover's next words.

"With the exception of the day that Hiyori was born I can tell you that I have never felt so happy. I am filled with joy that you and I are having a baby together; that 'our' family is growing; and that Hiyo and her little brother are going to have such an excellent daddy." Kirishima's tone was sincere. Then his voice dropped lower, taking on a slightly rough edge.

"And I want Takano to know… I want him to know that you are fully mine now and I hope when he finds out, he feels like a fool for ever letting such a good man get away from him."

As soon as he said this, Kirishima dropped Yokozawa's wrists again and pressed closer, taking his lover's face in his hands and kissing him deeply.

There were times Yokozawa hated Kirishima's smoothness. If his lover's words hadn't melted him, there was still no way he could have withstood the heat of the kiss. Despite his best intentions of leaving, Yokozawa felt his will slip away and he knew suddenly that there was no way he was getting out of attending this dinner party.

Kirishima pulled back and smiled impishly at his steel-eyed semuke.

"Now be a good boy and let's get back to the others, before they send someone to retrieve us and we're discovered in such a compromising position." He pulled Yokozawa sleeve.

"And if you behave, I promise not to show Kisa-san that newest batch of apron pictures I have of you. Oh, yeah, and also that one of you sewing the ear back on Hiyo's favorite stuffed bunny." Kirishima chuckled as he led Yokozawa back to the party.

Back out in the other room, Yukina was sitting on the sofa next to a wild-eyed Kisa.

"We need to leave right now!" Kisa barked at Yukina in a harsh whisper. Yukina looked over to where Nowaki was crouched down talking with Hiyori about the curry she'd brought.

"Why, Kisa-san?" Yukina raised one of his large hands and pressed the back of it against Kisa's forehead. "Do you have another fever?" he asked worriedly. Kisa pushed Yukina's hand away, he hated public displays of affection, not that this was all that public, but still.

"No, I don't have a fever!" he huffed.

"Then why leave, Kisa-san?"

Kisa felt terrible as he could see the slight tarnish forming on Yukina's glitter at the thought of leaving. Yukina had been so excited they got to spend time together so rarely and never did anything with anyone else as a couple when they did manage to go out.

"Wait… Uh… I guess I do have a fever," Kisa lied lamely, but it was too late to amend his story.

Kisa watched Yukina take on his stern seme face, which happened rarely and never failed but to make him feel slightly frightened and incredibly aroused simultaneously.

"What's this really about, Kisa-san?" Yukina gently demanded, not breaking out his bad ass voice because they were among others.

Kisa looked over to the hallway entrance that Yokozawa and Kirishima had disappeared into. He looked back into Yukina's intense eyes. Then he dropped his head and despite his PDA aversion, leaned forward and pressed his forehead against the art student's shoulder. "It's…uh… Yokozawa-san," he muttered softly.

Looking down on his older boyfriend, Yukina frowned. "Did he do something to you, Kisa-san?" Yukina had a slightly dangerous seme edge to his voice. Kisa's head shot up quickly.

"No, Yukina! It's nothing like that! It's just… He's just so fierce all the time and he and Takano-san… He'll tell Takano about us."

One of Yukina's large hands caught Kisa's chin before the older man could drop his head again. Looking into his boyfriend's huge brown eyes, Yukina suddenly realized that his lover was frightened of the sales manager and he smiled at this. Kisa's apprehension was really kind of cute actually.

"Kisa-san, I know Yokozawa-san might seem kind of stern," Yukina soothed. "But how well do you really know him?"

"He's a demon," Kisa mumbled blushing profusely. Yukina laughed at this.

"Maybe he's different outside work eh, Kisa-san? Why don't you give him a chance?" He leaned in and whispered into Kisa's ear. "Besides, I promise, I'll protect you." Kisa felt Yukina's sexy whisper all the way down into his cock.

This was yet another reason he was nervous about having children.

What am I going to do between having a baby and a lover who makes me feel so damn horny twenty-four seven?

In fact, as attached as Kisa was to looks, he had been worried when he'd first learned Yukina was pregnant that, as things went on, he might lose interest in the younger man. But he had actually found to both his pleasure and dismay that the exact opposite had happened and Yukina, baby bump and all, looked sexier to him each day.

"I don't need you to protect me, Idiot. I can take care of myself," Kisa grumbled, "Besides I should be the one protecting you. You're the one whose almost five months pregnant."

Perhaps there was a bit of seme in Hiyori after all, as she looked up from her conversation with Nowaki and chirped, "That's how many months Onii-san has had his baby too. Right, Papa?"

Kisa looked up at the pair of returning semes who'd just re-emerged and was stunned when Kirishima nodded.

So if Kirishima was papa… that means…

Kisa realized he'd never considered why Kirishima and Yokozawa had come together to a gathering for semukes. His brown eyes widened in shock as he suddenly noticed Yokozawa's more than slightly protruding belly. Then Kisa looked up and the severely chagrined face of Yokozawa was the last thing he saw before he fainted.
