Undertaker opened his eyes slowly, smiling as he stretched. His eyes landed on Grell and he smiled, grateful to see the red head sleeping peacefully. He wasn't moaning or tossing and turning, he was sleeping with a smile on his face, no dark thought or dreams plagued by fevers disturbing him.

The silver haired Reaper smiled himself and got to his feet, stretching, groaning on the inside as his body protested. He had slept uncomfortably and he felt sore from the recent events, but he was grateful, for Grell was safe and so was the Reaper's library.

His eyes scanned the red head again, and once more he thought of yesterday's events, his mind trailing to Eric and Ron. His heart sank at knowing the conditions they were in. Ron had managed to groan at Undertaker's touch, but Eric hadn't said a thing, even when Alan tried to get something out of him.

He sighed and sat back down in the chair. He didn't want to leave the room; to leave the warmth of this small room, the place where his only companion was the one he still managed to trust. The one who wouldn't turn him into William so he could die. The one who had seen the evil and the insanity, but had given him a second chance.

Undertaker sighed and looked to the door, knowing that those outside needed his help. He knew that more danger was to come, more from Lilith. He knew that the wound he had given wouldn't be enough to kill her.

The silver haired Reaper sighed and lowered his head to rest on his hand, staring at Grell, watching the rise and fall of the red head's chest. He sighed once more. He was tired of fighting. He didn't want to be a part of this anymore. He was just so tired of dealing with the demons. Especially given his relation to Lilith…

With a sigh, Undertaker closed his eyes, allowing him to temporarily leave this world.

William sighed as he watched Reapers scurrying about the infirmary lobby, cleaning the area up as best as they could. Sadly, the white tile wasn't coming clean as he had hoped. The white had been stained a deep, dark red by the blood that had been spilt.

The raven haired Reaper sighed. The color did honor for Grell.

He frowned as he began to think about Grell, wondering how the red head was doing, but Undertaker entered his mind. That's when something dawned on him.

Lilith had been trying to say something during the fight, but Undertaker had stopped her from finishing her sentence. The silver haired Reaper had become enraged at the mention of the name though, which only proved that something was wrong.

Will looked to the center of the infirmary lobby, his eyes narrowing as the words came back to him. The entire image came back to him.

'You're just a trait-!'

Will gasped, his eyes widening briefly and then narrowing. 'Grell didn't ever get attacked by a demon, he just stopped by Undertaker's shop and drank that poisoned tea...' He growled and his eyes flicked to Grell's room, eyeing the closed door, but his anger began to fade, replaced by a feeling of sadness and disappointment. He gazed at the door for a few seconds before looking away, hurt in his heart. He truly did hate that he could still feel emotions…

For he loved and cared about his former mentor, and it hurt to know that he had created those walking corpses…

Ron's eyes fluttered open and he groaned, pain racing through his bones. He turned his head, glancing around the room, panic filling his heart as he realized he might still be in the demons' hold. He calmed though as he noticed that Eric was in the bed next to him. Alan was laying next Eric on the bed, his hand on his stomach. Alan was smiling, seemingly content.

Worry flashed in his heart for Eric briefly but he calmed himself and tried to move. His movements were pain filled and weak, but he was able to move. That's when he felt something in the palm of his hand.

He held up his hand and opened it, gazing at what was in his hand. It was a necklace with a locket on it and in it was craved a name. Ron was surprised that he hadn't dropped it during his imprisonment or when he was taken to the infirmary.

That when everything came crashing down.

"Miranda…"

Undertaker's eyes fluttered open as he felt Grell's hand on his cheek. He smiled at the red head, who was now standing in front of him. Grell smiled, slight worry in his eyes. "Are you alright...?"

The silver haired Reaper nodded, trying to reassure the young Reaper. "I am, love. I am... Everything is alright."

He stood and kissed Grell's forehead gently. "How about we go see everyone else?" Grell smiled and nodded. "We should..."

Undertaker gripped his hand, leading him to the door.
