A/N:...Nope, still not ours

Kensi opened her eyes just enough to catch what the alarm clock said for a time when she noticed a pair of dark blue eyes staring just inches from her face. She almost jumped back in alarm before realizing it was just Isla standing frozen beside their bed, probably waiting for them to wake for the day. Deeks had spent a good three hours the night before refitting her crib into a toddler bed and it seemed the toddler was taking advantage of her new found freedom.

"Everything alright sweetheart?" She asked groggily as she fully opened her eyes and propped herself half up on one elbow.

"I hungy," the little girl said softly.

"Cereal okay?" Kensi asked.

The little girl nodded and Kensi peeled herself out from beneath her partner's arm and climbed out of bed.

"Do you need to go potty first?" Kensi asked as she took Isla's hand and led her from the room.

The girl adamantly shook her head 'no' and Kensi was on high alert again. They had only just started to potty train their youngest ward, but Isla didn't seem to be a fan of the idea.

"Maybe we should try just in case," Kensi insisted.

"See-weal!" She exclaimed, trying to pull Kensi toward the stairs and away from the second bathroom.

Kensi was torn before finally caving and following the girl down the stairs to the kitchen where she poured some cereal into a bowl with some milk and set her up at the table. Shortly after "the men" as Kensi had started referring to the boys and Deeks came shuffling down the stairs and more cereal was poured until everyone was sitting around the table eating.

"I wanna go to the beach!" Elijah announced halfway through his cereal.

"But I thought we were going to the fair?" Will said, his brow knitting as he looked to Kensi and Deeks.

"Faiw!" Isla chimed in.

"No, beach!" Elijah's voice rose to get above his sister's.

"Whoa there," Kensi stepped in with her hands raised some.

"Why don't we go to the beach this morning and then after lunch and a nap we can go to the fair and catch the fireworks at the pier?" Deeks offered.

"Fyo-wok!" Isla chimed up again, her spoon losing its place in her hand and flying a few feet away to the floor.

"Easy, girl," Kensi chuckled as she went to wash the spoon off and bring it back.

"Yeah!" Elijah shouted and Will nodded with a timid smile.

They ended up dressed in swimsuits, but brought items to make sand castles and Will's soccer ball instead of boards. Once at the beach, Deeks sat with Isla and occasionally Elijah who alternated between wanting to build with the sand and show his sister up and wanting to kick the soccer ball with Will and Kensi. After a couple of hours they all headed down, Monty included much to Kensi's despair, to splash around in the water and cool down. When they caught Isla and Elijah slowing down some and getting a little crankier they decided to pack up and head back to the house for lunch and a much needed nap. Even Will was looking a little heavy lidded as they walked into the house.

Deeks pulled together some sandwiches, fruit cups, carrot sticks, and juice boxes while Kensi got each one rinsed off and put into dry and clean clothes that would be easy for them to also nap in. They were all virtual zombies as they inhaled their food and they both knew a nap was a brilliant idea when both Isla and Elijah did face plants into their own plates once they were eaten.

"I've got her," Kensi smiled as she finagled the chair loose so that she could easily lift the toddler up and out of the high chair.

"Alright boys, let's head up," Deeks whispered as he scooped a sleeping Elijah into his arms and followed Will up the stairs. It was a quiet parade as even Will climbed in next to his brother on the bottom bunk just before his eyes shut of their own accord. When all the kids were asleep, Kensi and Deeks both tiptoed back to their own room and shut the door quietly.

"Finally, I have you all to myself…" Kensi purred as she wrapped her arms behind his neck and pulled her body flush to his.

"Mmmmm, agent Blye, what could you possibly have in mind…" Deeks grinned as he lifted her up so her legs wrapped around his waist and carried her to the bed.

"All the dirty stuff of course," she purred back, already moving her lips around his neck.

"You are an evil, evil woman Blye," Deeks groaned.

"That's soon-to-be Mrs. Deeks, to you mister," Kensi chuckled and Deeks felt his heart skip a beat.

"So you think you'd change your last name?" Deeks asked in earnest.

Kensi smiled and nodded. "Might keep Blye for while we're at work, but by law and as far as our personal lives go, I want to be Kensi Deeks."

Deeks sealed his lips over hers and stole her next breath as they tumbled to the bed, laughing and kissing.

"Thanks to you, I'm the happiest man in the world," Deeks said between kisses.

Kensi beamed happily down at him from her position above him, with their legs tangled and their breath intermingling.

"I was thinking…" Kensi's smiled lessened just a bit and she chewed on her bottom lip.

"What?" Deeks asked, perplexed as to what could have her more nervous. "You know you can tell me anything, princess."

Kensi nodded and averted her eyes away to the left and back to him again.

"Okay, now you're making me worry…" Deeks said, his grin fading and worry beginning to crease his brow.

"I just… I love Will, Elijah, and Isla so much. I couldn't love them anymore even they were biologically ours, but… I kinda want one that is half you and half me," her words grew quieter until she was silent and at first she looked him directly in the eye but when he could only stare at her with his mouth hanging open, she averted her gaze and began to pull back. "Forget it, it is silly when we have three wonderful children now and as busy as we – "

"Yes," Deeks interrupted her rant and held her close. "Kensi, I would love to make mini mutant ninja assassins with you."

Kensi's face went from confusion to shock to pure joy than back to confusion. "Who said anything about assassins plural?"

"Well we might as well have a litter," Deeks grinned cheekily. "But I suppose we could start with one."

"One is a good place to start," Kensi grinned back.

"So do you wanna get started on this now, or what?" Deeks smiled brightly as his hands began to roam again.

Kensi's response came in the form of a deep kiss as she flattened her body to his and they each began to tug and pull at each other's' clothing. After they both slipped on enough clothes to be presentable if the kids were to come back in and then entwined themselves together so that there was little room between them.

"We should really get some sleep," Kensi murmured, already halfway gone herself. "Once they're up we're not gonna get a break until tonight and I want another round of that."

Deeks chuckled and squeezed her close before kissing her forehead. "I could be onboard with that plan."
