*At Beyond*
(Steve walks into the spa to get up for the massage while Rory and Robin have a conversation)
"Hey, long time no see, Rory."-Robin
(a bit nervous because she hadn't seen this woman for quite some time and the last time she had, she was still Steve's client)
"Yes, I know. Sorry about that (pauses) Life just happened and I have been rather busy."-Rory
(sees that Rory is rather nervous) "Hun, calm down I knew long before Steve decided to leave and you stopped being his client that the two of you were together. I normally would not be okay with the situation, but the two of you have always been rather professional so it was never a problem."-Robin
(sighs) "Well, that is good then."-Rory
(the two continue to chat for a few minutes, and then she sat in a bit of peace waiting for Steve to come and get her. Her heart skipped a beat when he came out of the door to get her)
"So, how have you been?"-Steve
(laughs, but still says with a bit of a stutter because of her anxiety) "Fine, it's been a while since we have done this."-Rory
"I know. You know the routine though, there isn't anyone else coming in this early so you should have the bathroom to yourself. And I will meet you back in the tranquility room."-Steve
"Sounds good."
(she goes into the bathroom to quickly change out of her street clothes and into the robe that he had given her. It was a little bit weird to be back at this spa after so much time, but she knew in her heart that Steve would make it worth coming, for he always did. After about six minutes during which he finishes setting up the room and grabs Rory so they could start the massage)
"So, when do you think that we should get married, honey?"-Steve
(it was about half an hour into the appointment and he had flipped Rory onto her back so the two of the them could finally have a proper conversation)
"I think that we should get through the treatments and figure out the second health problem before we get too far into planning. I am not trying to sound negative at all just being realistic"-Rory
(tenses up a little bit when she says she doesn't wish to plan but tries to hide it making a mental note to text or get together with the guys in order to talk about this)
"That is a fair enough point I guess, however."-Steve
"Steve, don't however me. Think of it. What if we go about and plan this whole thing and I don't make it? I think that would just add a lot more pain to the situation then there will already be don't you?"-Rory
"I guess."-Steve
(The appointment ends about an hour later on a very good note her finally being able to relax and him feeling much better not only about her health but the two of them as a couple. They finish of the day at Texas Roadhouse for dinner and watch a few movies before heading to bed)
* It is now eight months later and many important things have occurred. Rory came out of chemotherapy treatments and has now been in remission for the past two months. Her hair is finally starting to come back as well as her energy levels. So much so that she has been cleared to start working in the photography studio once again. She decides to walk away from being a nail tech, as well as a writer, and just do what she loves with the group of people she needs and adores. Steve and Rory have also finally started planning their wedding, which is where this starts back in again*
"I absolutely refuse to have a ball gown, poofy, princess dress for my wedding, I am truly sorry, Grandma but it simply won't happen."-Rory
(Steve had heard yelling from the living room and come in to hear the end of that sentence, he tried hard not laugh at it. Emily had been calling almost daily to leave little hints about the wedding, as well as the remodeling of the house ever since they had told them about it)
"Because I am not 15 years old anymore, and it is NOT my coming out party. It is a wedding and am sorry but it is mine not your's to control. I will see you at Friday Night dinner."-Rory
(before Emily could say anything else Rory had gently hung up the phone. She quickly got up grabbed a bottle of flavored water and joined her soon to be husband on the couch)
"I am guessing she still isn't listening that well is she?"-Steve
"No, of course not. She has it in her head for some insane reason that I would look good in an oversized, taffeta gown. For a grandmother who claims to know me so well, she seems rather stuck in the past for some reason."-Rory
"Honey, at this point I think she is just grateful that you are alive to see a wedding day. She doesn't mean to sound so controlling or misunderstanding of what you desire you know that right?"-Steve
(sighs in defeat) "Of course I know that. I promise to apologize on Friday. What are the plans for the rest of the day hun?"-Rory
"Well, there are is photo shoot being done at the studio, then another one on location. Not much otherwise than that."-Steve
"Alright well we probably get dressed and head over to Flawless then."-Rory
"Sounds like a plan*
*A few more months pass by and it is now finally time for the wedding*
(at Fel Pro RRR Conservation location the groom as well the other members of the wedding party had just arrived. Steve of course was rather fidgety, so Logan grabbed him a drink and they separated from the group for a few minutes)
"Are you ready for this, man?"-Logan
(sighs) "In so many ways I am more than ready for this to finally happen. It has been over a year since I proposed, found out she had cancer, and almost lost her. We have fought long and hard to get here. I just. Do you think she truly wants this as badly as I do though?"-Steve
"Wild horses couldn't keep her away from marrying you, mate."-Finn
(he had walked over quietly to find out what the two were discussing)
(smiles) "Thanks for the encouraging words, both of you. Why don't we make sure the photographer knows what we want, and the final decorations are being set up properly. Has Sookie arrived with the food yet?"-Steve
"Of course she has, she is more than content that the reception is being held inside. She said that it makes prep so much easier, and that the food won't be flying away when the strong winds hit."-Colin
"Thank the lord for that."-Steve
*Meanwhile back the hotel*
"Rory, you look simply stunning in your dress."- Lorelai
"Thanks, mom. I can't believe I am actually getting married. I truly never thought it would happen."-Rory
"Well, you know the rules. Gilmore Girls fight until the end."-Lorelai
(the group laughs)
"Alright, does everyone have everything that they need. Bouquets, flowers, rings, the vows?"-Paris
(every woman in the room triple checked everything then headed out of the room. The ceremony was truly stunning, the bride and groom had each written their own vows and there was not a dry eye outside once they were done reading them.)
*At the reception*
"How does it feel to be a Mrs., at this point in time?"-Steve
(blushes but gets on her toes in order to kiss her now husband)
"It feels truly wonderful. Thank you for being such a wonderful man through all of my treatments in order to have this special day."-Rory
"Thank you for never giving up the fight my love."-Steve
(they enjoy the rest of their slow dance before going over to cut the cake that Sookie had made for them. It was a beautiful four tier cake. Covered in sapphire blue butter cream frosting as well as silver roses it truly was some of Sookie's best work. After cutting the cake and eating the traditional first slice they went around to eat table to personally thank each person for coming to the event. Everyone from Stars Hollow was there at Unconditional Love Reception Hall to watch Rory marry the true love of her life. After a few hours of dancing and just enjoying the company the bridge and groom head back home to begin packing for their honeymoon. About a week after the wedding, and closing down the studio for the following three weeks the two finally make it the apartment and start their vacation)
* At The Villa by Barton B in Miami Beach*
"Good surprise, I am guessing because you have been speechless for the past ten minutes honey!"-Steve
(kisses him passionately) "This is by far the best surprise you have ever given me. I love you"-Rory
"I love you too."-Steve
"Anything special planned because we have three lovely weeks to spend here."-Rory
"I figured that we could just enjoy the time, not worry about scheduling anything, bring the cameras whenever possible and have some fun. What do you think?"-Steve
"I am more than alright with that plan. Why don't we start now?"-Rory
(kisses her)" Let us begin our journey then my love."-Steve
Epilogue:
And that is exactly what the newlywed couple did. Enjoyed three weeks in Miami, Florida going scuba diving, taking walks in beautiful locations, capturing things to put in an album when they got home. Things after that trip just got better for them. Rory was officially cancer free after five years of regular checks and one small round of chemo because of a flair up. Steve, and his wife as well as the rest of the guys (Colin, Finn, and Logan) helped out and excelled at Flawless so much so that they ended up opening two more locations in the small time frame of three years.
Lorelai and Luke made monthly sometimes week visits in order to stay close with the couple. Lorelai eventually warmed up completely to Finn after seeing how well he fit in with the group when he was sober. She of course, adored Steve and the way that he took care of her daughter.
Finn eventually settled down and met someone that helped maintained his sobriety and enjoyed a sober life close to the group as well.

Hope it answered any questions and cleared up any confusion. It was a bit rocky at the beginning switching between David then to Finn, and finally settling on Steve. I apologize for that.
