I and Seth decided to fly out of America to London a week after I arrived. The week had gone incredibly fast and I now felt like I understood Seth more compared to when I arrived. We had spent every passing hour together doing different activities: swimming, running, walks along the beach and meals out with different memebers off the pack. Tonight was our last night and I knew we had to talk about a few things before going back to London.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me off of Emily's wooden floor, everyone was talking in different groups just like the first day I arrived. They all looked at us as Seth pulled me out of the house.
"Not to late, kids" Sue called from her postition on one of the sofas next to Charlie "This is your going away party after all," she smiled at us knowingly were Seth rolled his eyes.
"Don't worry, I'll have in back within the hour." I winked at her as Seth continued to pull me along and into the forest.
Sue was more than eager to let Seth go to London with me just like everyone else, I sometimes caught her close to tears at the departure of her only son but I think she really understood Seth's need to come home with me. Leah on the other hand was a different story. I had yet to hear her speak a word and each time I enetered the room she would flea.
"Sorry about my sister," Seth began while turning around to make sure I was able to jump over a fallen tree trunk. Our hands were still interlocked. "She's kind of anti-cullen," he chuckled under his breath.
"Anti-Cullen?" I chuckled with him "is there such a thing?" I tuned my head to look at his face as I couldn't stop looking at him. Seth was with me and I couldn't stop smiling.
"Apparently so," he looked over at me as he spoke and I blushed, he smirked as he caught me ogle eyeing him. "Though I think it's mainly the fact there vampires, it seems that she can't grasp the idea that some are good and only drink animal blood."
"So what does she think of her little brother dating one of them?" I asked with raised eyebrows, I kept the playful tone but I really did want to know. His family was important to him so it was important to me.
He shrugged "I don't know, I haven't had that much time to speak to her. I have been a little preoccupied," he admitted with a smile.
Guilt overwhelmed me as I realised that I had been keeping Seth all to myself. He stopped walking and I did to while biting my lip in guilt.
"I love being preoccupied by the way," he smirked at me and swooped in to kiss me on the check before i realised what he was going to do. I swooned and my legs turned to jelly.
"What were we talking about?" I asked innocently as we carried on walking through the forest.
He laughed freely and shook his head "it doesn't matter," he answered while carrying on with his laughter.
"Where are we going?" I realised that I was probably asking way to many questions.
"Your full of questions today," he called up in front of me as I had slowed down my pace after over heating from his cheeky kiss on my check. He had a great butt from this view. I fanned myself to stop the blush and from overheating.
Thank god Edward wasn't here to whiteness my thoughts.
"We are going to the cliff," I just about heard his voice over the sound of my heart pounding in my chest. I took a deep breath before replying.
"The cliff? So is it special or something because it has 'the' in front of it?" I was turing lamer by the minute, just shut your mouth Ella!
"I guess it's short of a tradition, the kids from la push normally hang around it in the day. We go cliff diving and just hang around up there." He told me while grabbing my hand and gently pulling me in front of him. Something told me it was for protection.
"But it's night time and I'm kind of an outsider as I'm not a la push kid." I spoke my thoughts as I watched my feet, Seth's hand on my back guiding me was getting really distracting.
"I know," I felt the smile on his face.
After that we didn't speak until we reached I guess what was named 'the cliff', it really was just a cliff.
The wind was more fierce here however I was wrapped up in one of Seth's jumpers and his arms so I wad plenty warm.
"I don't know why you want to leave this place, ive been here for a week and it still surprises me with sights like these." I titled my head to get a better view of the place. We were up quite high with trees surrounding our backs, in the distance I could see the waves beginning to form and a few small lights from fishing boats. The dark sky reflected in the sea yet the hot moon made it shimmer.
"I've lived in this place all of my life and I want to go and experience the world." he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach. The first time he had ever done this!
Our physical relatsionship was still going quite slow and the only thing that hadn't changed about us throughtout my visit. I could feel his nerves whenever I kissed him. I realized that time could only change that.
"The world isn't that great," I mumbled while playing with his fingers as I looked out at the view.
"I know," he mumbled back in my ear "with you it would be more than great," I felt his smile as he pecked the top of my hair and I laughed along with him.
"Come on," I sulked at he said those two words while leaning away from me "I don't want you getting into trouble for not getting me back within the hour."
"I thought you had gone," Leah growled under her breath and I was first to walk into Emily's home, I stopped to look at her for a secound but decided it was better not to say anything.
Everyone else seemed to have the same idea as me and left it. However, I knew Seth didn't hear as he was busy taking his shoes and coat off and placing them on a hook in the hall.
"Leah," he sounded shocked as he saw his older sister sitting next to Emily on the couch.
"I'm not hear to say goodbye Seth," I really didn't like the sound of this. "I'm here to talk some sense into you," Leah stood up as she spoke and stared daggers at me.
Seth stood there with an open mouth. "What?" He chuckled in amusment. He really didn't get it.
"Your not leaving with HER," she said her with so much hatred that I felt the hairs at the back of my neck rise.
Seths emotions did a 360 and took a step closer to me to put me behind him. "she has a name," he growled.
I put a hand on his arm to try and calm him down. I quickly looked around the room to see that Charlie, billy and Sue had left. Thank god. It was just the pack, ex-pack members and mates left.
"oh yeah I forgot, your not leaving with blood sucker," Leah clickeded her tongue and chucked as she saw me flinch. "blood sucker" she started to pronounce each letter slowly to drag it out.
Seth roared at her and took large, quick steps to his sister before I could stop him.
She continued to stand her ground and stared him down.
"It's none of your business," I could see him violently shake and twist so I went to step closer to him but Sam caught my arm to stop me. I than remembered what he had accidently done to Emily. I gulped as Seth turned wolf in secounds and began to stalk Leah like prey.
"Sam," I whispered to the alpha as he stood next to me, still gripping my arm "Stop him," I begged him but he ignored me and watched just like everyone else.
I looked back at the scene to see Leah bowing down to Seth. She knew that she had gone to far this time.
I tried pulling my arm out of Sams grasp and he finally snapped a look at me "We can't do anything, it's in the law. Leah disonhourred Seth's mate willingly so it's Seth's choice what to do with her." he explained to me with a slight ounce of sorrow.
I looked around the room to see that everyone else was panicking as Seth growled at his sister, his teeth baring and saliva creeping out of his jaw.
"Let go of me," I protested and started to pull my arm out of Sams hand more aggressively. Seth would never forgive himself if he killed his sister.
"I can't, no wolf should experience hurting their mate." he looked over at Emily in sorrow.
"so your going to let him kill his sister instead," Sam never answered me so I began to think.
I could use my spells but I didn't know with one as I didn't have my book I began to tap my foot in thought until a rhythm began to come out of it. One that I had practised before for defence.
I began to quietly mutter to myself and rose my free hand. Spells were hard to create with only one hand but not impossible. I was going to be tired later.
I sensed everyone except Seth look at me as i spoke louder to sunmen the spell.
It worked and a clear bubble expanded around Leah. Seth took one step into it and shook his head while jumping back. He did it again and I whimper as I knew it hurt, I could feel hos pain deep inside me, it took a lot of will to not drop the spell. He walked into it once again and I whimpered for my soul mate.
"Stop," I begged him in a croaky voice as tests began to tickle the top of my lips.
Seth heard me finally and quickly turned to me, it took him two seconds to realize that I was the one creating the spell and that I didn't want him touching his sister. He bowed his head at me in sorrow and changed back to human form, it didn't even cross my mind that he was naked as I only saw the red marks from him walking into my spell. I cried silently as he turned around and left me. What happened to not walking away from me?
So yeah, this is a new chapter please do not kill me! I know what I'm doing.
