At the party

Ellie

I huddled in the corner of the room petrified as Interpol walked around. This is not happening. This is not happening. Not tonight. One of the men grabbed my Dad and I screeched. No!

"Daddy!" I exclaimed. He was handcuffed and I started crying. My mom held my sisters closely and was crying as Interpol gently grabbed her. She was pleading in her eyes, then gave my sisters to Adonis. She kissed there heads then was put into handcuffs. My aunts, uncles and my grandma were all arrested as well. This had to happen this just had to happen! Tonight of all nights! This is the worst birthday ever! I heard a snicker and I saw Brooke. She waltzed past me.

"I lost my father for 10 years, when I'm done with your family next time you'll see them is in the ground,"

Two hours earlier

Eddie

"Christ, Patricia are you ready?" I asked fixing my cuff links. Finally it's Ellie's party. Patricia walked in with Erika on her hip, half her hair curled and wearing a silk robe.

"I'm working on it," She said sitting Erika down. Erika screeched. "I'm right here, I'm right here," She promised. Erika cuddled up to herself as Patty went to go change.

"You look cute," I said tickling Erika's chin. She pouted and crossed her arms. She wore a gold dress. "Be happy princess,"

"Mummy, isn't gonna stay with me. I gotta stay with Nini,"

"You do,"

"Why?" She started whining.

"Because its a big party and we don't want you getting lost," She puffed out her lips and then strutted out. Patricia came in with a tight black dress on and her hair in a curled bob. She attempted to put on her shoes and skip around.

"Go see Nini," I said sitting Erika down. She ran off and I sighed.

"I've been thinking," Patricia said.

"About?" I asked.

"The girls,"

"And?"

"Who's going to be in charge?"

"What do you mean?"

"Eddie, one of them has to be in charge. Who's it gonna be?" I've never thought about that. I was an only child, so was mom. I'm not really sure.

"I don't know,"

"Eddie," She whined.

"What? I just assumed Ellie would take over and then we would move to some island place like old people," I said. She rolled her eyes.

"Okay, your empire is large correct?" She said.

"Of course," I said. She pulled up her laptop, got a picture of the world and then split it into a bunch of pieces.

"Ellie can have North America and when we die or retire she directs others what to do,"

"Emi can have Europe,"

"Erika can have South America,"

"Elysa can have Asia,"

"Emi can have all of the islands,"

"Erin?"

"Oh Africa,"

"Good, this worked out. Right?"

"Right," She said kissing me. "Alright lets go babe," Her slinky black dress moved as she walked. I grinned and grabbed her ass. She grinned and pressed it against me. I kissed the side of her neck and she placed a kiss on my lips. This is going to be a great night.

Two hours later

Ellie

We were a little bit into the party when Interpol stormed in looking for my family and now there everywhere in the hotel, going to their rooms and now I can't even go to my hotel room because their looking for evidence. My bank account is frozen because that's also evidence so I'm fucking stuck here! I was able to sneak away the weapons and some money but still they're watching me. Good thing is that Adonis is here. He's technically my guardian at the moment. The girls are crying for my parents and my "cousins" are flipping out. Alana's been flipping especially about her mom. She said orange isn't her mom's color. Sigh.

Alana, Sarah, Felix, Zayden and I were hanging out in the new room Adonis bought. Thank God Nini was able to watch all the little kids. I laid, with my head in Sarah's lap as she played with my hair.

"What are we gonna do?" Sarah asked. "If my parents don't get out I have to move to England with my Dad's dad," She pouted.

"I'll have to move to France, which isn't bad but I can't not be rich," Alana screeched. I rolled my eyes.

"Who's in France?" Zayden asked.

"My Mom's big sister. She's kind of hates my mom for being a princess," She said. I sighed.

"Sarah, Ellie!" Adonis called. He actually isn't that bad. I kind of do believe he's there for grandma. If he was a gold digger he would have taken her stuff and been gone by now but he's still around. Sarah and I went to the door and saw two people we sure as hell didn't want to see. Dmitry and Levi.

"Go away," I said.

"Please," Sarah added. Dmitry walked in and I rolled my eyes.

"Sarah, my love," He said going to kiss her. She pushed away. "Ooh feisty, I just came to offer my services. I can't have my new mafia family in jail now can I?"

"What kind of services?" She asked. He led her into the bathroom and I turned to Levi.

"I know my dad wants you to marry me or whatever. Well there's no need to kiss up because now it's all gone. All the hard work is gone," I said.

"Not yet, it's not," He said.

"Yeah it is. My family is in jail," I said.

"They still have connections, people loyal to them Elle. And they're loyal to you. You really think your dad wasn't prepared for this? I'm pretty sure everyone's just waiting for you to call and they'll flock here," He said. "Just make a few calls," Wow he actually wasn't being an ass. I picked up my phone and started to call. I guess it's time for me to be Queen.

Sarah

"Don't touch me!" I screeched as Dmitry went to touch my arm. I hate him! God, and I didn't even get to tell my Daddy how much I hated him.

"Sarah, I'm making a deal with you," He said gently touching my shoulder.

"What?" I demanded.

"You promise to marry me. You'll move to my mansion and we'll get married. You promise to never divorce me, give me a child and I'll help get your parents out. I'll also take care of you," He said.

"I don't want to be married soon," I said.

"After college," He said. I sighed.

"I don't want to live out there," I said. He thought.

"Fine, we'll do this Hades and Persephone style. You spend summer and winter with me and you spend spring and fall with your parents,"

"I can't see them in your season?"

"You can, I mean I'm not locking you in a tower. Just I want you with me mostly,"

"How will you get them out?"

"I'll gear you up with the best things, get a getaway plane, and get lawyers,"

"I can do that,"

"Whatever you say," I huffed and went to leave. He grabbed my arms. "Listen, I need you. I really want you,"

"You really want to merge business,"

"If that was all I wanted then I would have been after Ellie. You don't look like Ellie to me,"

"You're just so ugh! Why don't you go after Ellie!? What do you want from me!?"

"You! I want you!"

"Why? I'm Ellie's ugly best friend. She's the pretty one in this relationsh-," He planted a kiss on my lips to shut me up. He pulled me close by the waist. I could feel his muscles squeeze me closer and closer.

"Shut up. There's a reason why I like you. You're pretty, no gorgeous, you're genius, you're ambitious, you're kind, you're a good person. All I want is for you to be mine," He said. He kissed me softly and I let out a small smile. Maybe he isn't that bad.
