Chapter 23-Sparrow's POV-Missing.
I toss and turn in my bed until I decide that I can't fall back asleep so I sit up and turn around to give Jay a kiss. I finally get out of bed and suit up. I brush back my short hair and tuck everything in my bag. I go back to my bedroom and silently wake up Jay with another kiss, this time instead he kisses me back and says good morning to me.
"Hallo", I say," I'll meet you at the Stage."
And with that I take off, out the window. Who needs stairs when you're a bird. I use my wings to gain altitude and take swift dive down to help me stretch out my wings. When I finally to 'The Stage' I glide in through the open window and softly touchdown, when I regain my balance I crouch down and crawl around, using my night-vision, identical to Jay's. I look around for Harley, so I can surprise her. I finally see something that looks like a red outline of her body, so I sneak up and right when I'm about to surprise her, something grabs my neck and pulls me up, forcing me to choke and gasp for air.
"Harley, it's just me!" I say, gasping still.
" Where is he?" a deep voice rumbles.
That's definitely not Harley.
"H-Harley!" I scream, gasping for air.
"Harley isn't going to save you this time, Sparrow, now where is Joker Jr. The Second?"
" I-I don't know! I came alone!" I scream.
Suddenly I see a flicker of movement behind Batsy and I know that Jay is here to help me.
" OK, if you're not going to tell me, I guess I'll have to kill Harley."
I laugh, I know he hasn't killed anyone before, and he won't kill Harley.
Jay seems to get my signal and he springs into action, jumping onto Batsy's back.
He lets go of my neck and I stumble to the ground, gasping for air, when I gain my breath I look up to see Batman literally choking Jay.
NO!
I scream and leap onto his head and repeatedly punch him in the nose, I finally hear a satisfying crunch and lots of blood spill out of his nose. He drops Jay and I jump off and glide over to a good hiding spot. When I look back Batman is grabbing his nose, so I see this as a good opportunity to attack.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream as I run over there.
He recovered quickly and swung his heavy cape at me, discombobulating me and making me stumble back, I feel pain my ribs as he pounds me, I fall to the ground, feeling my ribs, it feels like one is broken. I stand up weakly and look around to see Batman grabbing Jay, who is now unconscious, pull out his own grappling hook and flies out of there. I start walking around looking for Harley, then I plan an attack with her... After I patch myself up at least.
" Ugh, this is going to be a long day."
