Chapter 25-Robins POV-Pain.
Oh, my head hurts.
I open my eyes groggily and try to look around, what I see horrifies me, I'm chained to a table (memories go away!)
And.
And.
And. I've been cut open...
It takes me a while to register what's going on...
I look up at Batman, but he's not looking at me, he's focusing on cutting me open. He's moving the scalpel around poking and prodding at my muscles.
At one point I twitch and my heart rate goes up, he instinctually looks over at my face and I can tell he's shocked.
I mean c'mon how many times do you see someone awake while your operation on them and they aren't freaking out.
"Shit!"
I hear Batman curse.
"Nah, doc I'm fine... Never been better." I say.
I suddenly have the urge to throw up...
I look at Batman and right when I'm about to say something it all comes out, I feel my face get cold and my vision go blurry, I hear a sound far away calling to me telling me to come closer, to come join them. They said they were waiting for me.
I see a really bright light and I walk around. There is nothing here except for the light, then out of nowhere a gate appears, I see all of the people I knew, that were dead.
I see my parents. My friends. The other Robins, heck I even see my dog there. It looks peaceful so I walk on up to the gate and as I'm about to touch it, I feel something shock me. So I try again. Again I get shocked right in the chest. This time the gates fall and the people I see melt into the emptiness. And I'm brought back to a black world.
I hear Batman screaming at me, telling me that I will be a selfish little brat if I left him.
I can feel the needle and thread going through my skin really fast. I hope it doesn't leave any scars.
He's practically yelling at nothing now, or is he sending a message?
"COME TO THE BATCAVE NOW!"
And I also hear,
"WAKE UP!"
But before I could listen in on anything else, my arms get cold and imagine myself getting cold and I take what seems like my last breath and fade out...
