Chapter 32 - from Halcyone to Alyn
Alyn's POV
I jump roof to roof before landing on the school roof. I pull off my mask and wonder wolf outfit as I'm glad that you can't see someone on the roof if you're on the ground. I slip on some red and black skinny jeans and pull on a LOVE shirt that belonged to Harold quickly. I pull on some boots and zip them up. They're almost to my knees, they're black and they barely have a heel. I like them. They are fifty dollars well spent. I pull out my old glasses and put them on and they have paint on the non lenses parts. I have eyeliner on that I stole from Vanessa for today so I can buy me some later.
I pull my hair out of a ponytail, it's curled from this morning when I borrowed my mom's hair curler. It poofs out a bit and the curls regain their shape. I stuff them my Wonder Wolf outfit into my new bag, a book bag that is covered in paint splatters. It was like a purse but it held books.
I jump off the roof, landing in front of the doors.
When I walk inside, everybody is staring at me. This is new for all them. To see me like this. A snotty nerd has style. I bet they're thinking that as I walk past them. I should not had done this.
But as I past Jay and Vanessa, seeing their jaws drop, I smirk and pull off the glasses, snapping them in half and dropping them into my bag.
I keep walking and go into the library and sit down at my normal table where DJ is waiting for me.
She raises her eyebrows at me and smiles. "Well well well, what is this we have here?"
"Hm? Oh this? I got bored of the snotty rich nerd act." I grin but she grabs my face and pulls out something.
Lip gloss. She puts it on me and sits down as something behind me catches her eyes. I turn and Jay is standing there.
"What is this?" He asks as I sit down. "What is what?" I asked, pulling out my sketch book as I look at him through my lashes. I smirk.
Oh this will be fun.
