Chapter 40 - baby it's cold outside.
Damian's POV
"Hey, Alyn, where were you? I went to pick you up," she walks right by me, dropping her bag on the floor. This bag is bigger than her normal one and as she disappears into wear that batcave is, I open it. Inside is a few pairs of sweats, a brand new sketch book and new mechanical pencils, a charger, her phone, a few books (all by Amy Reed), keys, a wallet, and some CDs.
"Hey, Alyn, where are you going?" I ask, running into the batcave. She standing in front of batman and she looks at me. "You got Damian. You don't need me and I don't need you yelling at me." "But robin is gone. And I'm leaving to think things over. You have to stay to watch over Damian." Batman says and Alyn looks at the ground. "I want my own room." She says and batman nods. "Now, I have to get dressed since my flight leaves in an hour." She's the one who nods this time and batman walks past me. "Where were you going?"
I walk up to her and she looks away. I grab her, force her to look at me. Around her eyes are red and poofy. She looks like she's been in a fight. We hear batman leave and I ask her another question. "What happened?"
She shakes her head. "It's late and we have school tomorrow. Go to bed." I nod an okay before going to my room.
I hear Alyn shut and lock the batcave and then go into the living room.
Poor girl, what happened to her?
Alyn's POV
I sit down on the couch. I sit there for about an hour before I hear the front door creak open. I turn and I see robin's figure standing in the doorway as he quietly shuts the door. I smile. Finally something good has happened for me. I haven't seen my friend in a while.
"Robin!"I run up to him and throw my arms around his neck. He pushes me away causing me to stumble and hit the ground. I can see him now in the light. He's dressed kind of like JJ11... Oh god. "Robin?" I squeak out and I fill a rough kick to the stomach. Oh HELL NO! I jump up and back up. I have no weapons.
I'm glad he can't see me. I'm not in my wonder wolf outfit and I never have let him see me out of it before that I would know of.
He laughs at me and before he could say anything after his laugh, I run at him, pulling my fist back and punch him in the face. He goes way back, hitting the ground. I slam my foot on his junk and crunch down. "You. Fucking. Little trader. You just messed with the wrong girl." I growl.
After I think that I've beat him enough and after got in a few punches and kicks, I pick him up my the back off him outfit and toss him outside. I put in the password for the alarm in so if any entrance to the house is opened, it'll go off. And then I get to beat the shit out of more people.
I hope robin's smart enough to not try though. It's sad to beat up my used to be best friend.
Chapter 41 - JJ's POV- Breaking In Twice.
When we arrive I listen to the plan again them enter the password and start walking in. I walk to entry hallway, sneaking, but walking casually, forgetting that Alfred isn't here anymore. I walk to the living room and see nothing, but I hear Wonder Wolf squeak and run to me, I push her down and kick her, before walking away.
I make it to the window to look out and she runs up behind me and totally takes me off guard and she smashes me in the face. I fall back and she runs over and steps on my pelvic area, what she doesn't know is that I came prepared for that, I had a blocker there.
Score one for JJ.
I let her push me out the window, thinking she defeated me.
She probably turned the alarms on.
But what she doesn't know, is there is a way to turn them off from the outside.
I find the control panel hidden on the roof and push in,
3-9-0-7 I hear a beep and a click as the hatch opens up. I climb in and proceed to find something heavy. I find a small brick and go back to the living room, careful not to disturbs the peace. I walk up behind her and hit her head, making her grunt and fall, I grab her before she does.
I take the brick and stash it, then resume to find some pills.
I go into the kitchen, snatch Batman's old headache medication and open the bottle and pour some on the floor and put the opened bottle on her hand.
I walk into the weapons room and raid everything.
I walk out with practically everything.
I put a new lock onto the door with the password,
'7-1-9-0-3-6-1'
Nobody will ever guess that.
And just too he safe, I hit Wonder Wolf in the head again and throw some stuff around making it look like she did it.
I walk out with my stuff, then I realize.
I have a motorcycle.
Chapter 42 - Alyn's goodbye
Damian's POV
"I thought you told batman you were going to stay here till he gets back." I say as Alyn tosses me a melted ice pack. "Fucking robin, I'm gonna shove a car down his throat." I hear her growl. I wonder why he trashed the place and spilt sugar pills everywhere. "He'll be too mad for me to face after he figures out what I let happen." She shouts to me "He'll be even madder when he returns and sees me alone" I say but she shakes her head as she ties her tennis shoes and stands. "I'm sorry. I can't face batman. Not if he'll be looking at such a failure." "Alyn you are not-"
"goodbye Damian." She kisses me on the cheek and then is gone. I stand there before sighing and pulling my shirt on. It's a black and red shirt that matches my dark jeans that have red thread and my black shoes with red shoe laces. I bet by now you can tell I like red and black.
I head to school and go to my classes like a good boy. I take noticed that Jay and Alyn's sister seem to not care that Alyn is missing. Though, it's only been an hour or two. That kind of still pisses me off though.
I shrug it off as I walk to more classes and then to an after school gym class I signed up for. Then to my home.
I take a shower. Then watch TV and eat dinner and lastly wash my face and brush my teeth before flopping down on my bed. It's only 7:30 pm. Oh well, who gives a shit. And then I fall asleep, ready to do the same thing tomorrow and every day after that till batman gets back.
Chapter 43- Robin/JJ's POV- Messed Up.
When I get back, I have three motorcycles, at least 25 grappling hooks, 100 Batarangs, and over 200 more random weapons.
I announce that I'm home and JJII and Sparrow come bounding over to me, they stop in their tracks and their mouths literally drop open.
Haha,
It felt really good to do this, I finally feel like part of a family.
"Ok, well I have another plan for you, JJ."
" OK." I grin.
When we are done with plan we go to bed, but JJII says that he's going over to Sparrows to stay the night.
Great, I'm left alone with Sparrow. This could be fun.
"Hey, JJ." She says.
"Hey." I say walking up to her.
I lean in and kiss her, she kisses me back, not fighting at all.
When we pull away she smiles and walks away.
I move to my room and wipe off the makeup and think about what's going to happen after school.
After the night and after an uneventful day at school, it's time to put the plan into action.
I put my old Robin costume on, adding a few 'life-threatening' rips and add some of Batman's blood to my costume, I'm already pretty beat up from the amount of fights I've been getting into.
I walk to the Bat Cave, when I get there I open up the door and quicken my breath and start limping.
"H-Help!" I cry out, falling.
I hear a pair of feet running down the stairs.
"Al-." Someone starts.
But then they see me and run over and try to help me up.
I gasp and make it sound more painful than what it feels.
He falls for it and gasps.
"Shit am I hurting you?" He says.
"Ah. Just a little, they tricked me."
"Well, you're safe now." He says soothingly.
I get up slowly and start limping with his help over to the chairs. It's still a mess in there.
"Sorry about making that mess."
"Nah, don't worry, we just have to clean it up before Batman gets back. I'm going to call Wonder Wolf." He turns to walk away.
"That won't be necessary." I say.
"Wha-." He begins.
I run up behind him and kick him in the head, knocking him out.
"Suck on that!" I yell dragging his unconscious body outside.
Chapter 44 - new boy
DJ's POV
"Hey, brooooooooo!"
"I'm right here" Julian says, running his hand through his hair as he looked at me. I grin and he looks away, leaning back in his chair. He's spacing out again. I pout and look around before noticing Jay across the room, trying to pick the lock to Alyn's office.
Cool, killing two birds with one stone. "OHMIGOSH JULIAN! STOP CHECKING OUT JAY!" I shout and Julian flings back into reality and loses his balance. He hits the ground and rubs his head and I look back over at Jay. He's looking over with a 'what?' look. I wave at him and then look back at Julian.
Julian stands fast, using the table as support till his vision is unblurred from the rough slam of his head against the floor. "What the fuck?!" He shouts and his eyes move over to Jay. He makes a shocked look. I'm guessing Jay was still looking over.
Julian falls to his hands and knees so the table is blocking him from Jay's view. He grabs his book and shoves it in my bag. "Don't lose this book." He shoves my bag under the table and looks up at me. "You owe me for this." He growled. "Now, I have to go. Don't be late this time." He stands and then...
He bolts out the door. Good thing he's the top of the class in gym. I look over at Jay. "Sorry, he's shy." I laugh out before picking up my bag and leaving the library. I go to the gym and sit in one of the seats. The basketball game starts soon and I guess I should watch it for Julian.
He is my brother and all.
A few hours into the game, an accident happened. Julian went to dunk and someone went to stop him and cause Julian to slip, try to avoid, and to trip the somebody and have the someone land on him. He laid there as the someone went to get up. Then he freaked. He kicked the someone off and ran off.
I found him sobbing under the staircase. I frown at him and sat down in front of him. "Hey, you okay?" He hides his face in his knees. "Go away." I nod and slid him his book before going.
I walk home alone that afternoon.
After I'm there for a few minutes, I realize that I shouldn't have left Julian in the state he was in. I pull my shoes back on and run to the school. I go to turn the corner to where the stairs are but freeze at the corner.
Jay is talking to Julian and then suddenly, Julian grabs Jay's necklace and uses it to pull him into a kiss. Jay looks shocked and stumbles backwards, taking Julian with him and not breaking the kiss.
Julian pulls away and right when he does, I'm behind them and yank Julian up by his shirt collar and push him to make him walk down the hall. When he disappears around the corner, I shoot a glare at Jay. "Don't touch my brother again. Don't look at him. Don't even think of him. You'll just end up hurting him." I growl out before chasing to catch up with Julian.
I think I know Jay completely after what all Alyn's told me. He's not going to listen to me. He's going to make Julian fall for him. Hard. Then he's gonna kick dirt in his face and run away laughing. Then I get to take my father's knife and cut him. Jab the knife roughly into his stomach, pull it out and then pour a bottle of cleaner on it.
Chapter 45-Confused- Jay's POV
I continue to pick the lock to Alyn's office, I almost get it when I hear someone yell,
"OHMIGOSH JULIAN! STOP CHECKING OUT JAY!"
I spin around and look back as I see Julian falling off of the chair and going to hide.
"uhhhhhh."
I say and DJ waves at me, I continue to look as Julian stands and looks at me, he looks away really fast, I look back down and grab my stuff.
"Sorry, he's shy."
DJ say, before she stands and leaves.
I sigh and stand, I walk out of the library and head to my locker, I put my stuff away and decide to check out the basket ball game, since I have at least two hours before I have to be anywhere. I get to the gym and look around, as I walk over to a random seat I hear sobbing under the staircase and decide to investigate.
Julian is crying under there and I cautiously walk over across from him and sit down.
"Hey, you ok?"
"Go away."
"What happened?"
I ask.
Suddenly he looks up and grabs my necklace, he pulls me forward and kisses me, I try to move back, but I end up stumbling and pulling Julian onto me, the kiss doesn't break and after a few seconds he pulls back and DJ is suddenly there and she yanks him up and pushes him down the hall.
"Don't touch my brother again. Don't look at him. Don't even think of him. You'll just end up hurting him."
She growls at me.
"uhhhhhh."
I say, still confused on what just happened.
After they leave I go to stand and end up hitting my head.
"ouch."
I crawl out of there and go to my locker and I grab my stuff and walk out of the school.
I start walking down the street to go to my 'house' to meet up with JJ and Sparrow.
Chapter 46 - Blast to the Past
Harold's POV
I laugh as Bruce and Damian go down the hill on a sled. "Having fun?" I ask when they reach the bottom. I walk over to them as they stand and Damian laughs as he looks up at me. "Yeah yeah we are!" I laugh at the four year old as he tries to pull the sled up the hill.
"Bruce," "Yeah?" "You're a good father," I smile at him and he starts walking up the hill again. I go to follow but my phone buzzes. I pull it out and its a text from Alyn. I begin to read it as I hear Bruce say "Damian, dont push me, just sit in my lap. We'll go down again," I'm stuck on a word. I stand there before realizing its a typo and continue reading.
I turn but right when I do, there's a blow to my legs and I fall forward, buried in something warm. I've been hit by the sled. I feel that i'm finally to a stop and lean up. Bruce is under me a bit stunned. "You okay? I'm okay so are you okay?" He nods and i stand up, realizing our position. I laugh as I pull Bruce up and he look at the top of the hill where Damian is standing, waving at us.
I raise my eyebrow at him and he runs down the hill. He wraps his arms around my legs. "Mommy! Mommy! Go down the hill with me!" I stand there before looking at Bruce. "Uh..." I look down at Damian. "Um," Bruce picks Damian up. "I think thats enough sledding for today," Damian pouts. I grab the sled and walk to the car.
"So husband, "I joke as I throw the sled into the back of the car. Bruce shoots me a glare and i decide its best to just shut up. I look down and walk around the car and climb into the passenger seat. I look away as Bruce gets into the driver seat. Damian is in the backseat, singin a song I taught him. I sing along with him, turning in my seat to face him.
The car swerves a bit and i look at Bruce. He staring in front of him at the road. "You okay?" I ask. He nods. "Mommy! Teach me a new song!" I stand there, trying to think of an appropriate song I know to teach him. Hes a fast learner. I normally have to sing it and then when I sing it the second time, he knows most of the words. I pick up the stuffed bat off the floor and hand it to him.
"I don't know an appropriate song for you," I say. "What about the pony song?-" "NONONO!" The car jerks to a sudden stops. "Harold, Don't randomly yell," "Sorry,"
The car starts to move again and soon were at Bruce's house. I step out as Alfred comes and gets Damian. I smile at Bruce. "Today was fun," I say and he nods. I stand there before realizing the time. I have to go pick up Vanessa soon. I unlock my car but first I run over to Bruce. He looks confused as I pull on his scarf. I peck him on the cheek before laughing and running to my car. I jump in and drive off. I can't wait for tomorrow to babysit Damian again.
Chapter 47 -Hostage?
JJ's POV
After school I change into my new costume and apply the face paint, I run to the secret place for us and walk inside.
"Hullllo?"
I call out.
I dropped off the 'package' last night and I'm supposed to check on him. I walk into the hostage room, as we call it, and look around.
" Old replacement?"
I feel something and I jump back, the prisoner lands flat on his face.
" Oh, you're going to have to try harder than that, if you want to get out of here at least."
He mumbles something and I hear the front door open.
" Hello?" someone calls out.
" JJII?"
I start walking out and he appears right in front of me,
" Stop doing that!"
I say, laughing.
" What's up?"
" Oh, not much, just brought a prisoner home last night."
" What?"
He tries to push past me.
" No, no, no, you have to wait for Sparrow."
I say, not moving. I push him out and push him to the medium sized room.
He looks at his watch,
" It's time for your medicine."
I sigh,
" Fun..."
He stands up and goes to another room, a few seconds later he comes back with a tray full of needles and different colored serums.
" Let's get this over with."
I sit down on the operating table and JJII sighs.
" This is going to hurt a lot."
" I know..."
I shut my eyes as he chains me to the table.
" Ready?"
I sigh,
" No."
I feel the first needle slip into my flesh, but I only feel blood flowing out, nothing going in. After a while the needle slips out of my skin and I open my eyes.
" OK, now time for the pain, you can scream if you want, I know how this feels, I have to take mine tomorrow."
He takes a needle with a green colored liquid and pushes it in my skin. I immediately scream as it starts to burn, before he slips that one out, another one goes in, we repeat the process for a long time. Then near the end I black out.
" Hey! Wake up!"
I groan as I wake up, Sparrow's face is now in mine.
" Hello, sleepyhead."
" H-hey."
" I heard you have something to show us."
She says, grinning at me, she pulls me up.
" Right this way."
I smile and grab her arm.
Chapter 48 - a new friend?
Alyn's POV
I'm looking around in the library. I have to get my mind off what happened. How my mom and dad weird bitching about something and... And that bloodlust side that killed Peter came out. I didn't mean for it. But I never really like them as well. They stole, lied, cheated on each other, etc. it's was annoying, bad for the town, bad for their families, bad for everyone. And they won't be missed, everyone hated them. their enemies, their friends, even their family.
I burned them in the back yard in the same place i burned the goo once there was no saving them. I left a note on the fridge saying they were moved because they wanted to see if me and Vanessa could make it on our own so Vanessa will have something to think. That's what they did to Harold so she has to believe it. I packed up all my stuff and the stuff of their's that I wanted. The rest went to a thrift store. The whole house is empty beside Vanessa's room. I set a bunched a empty boxes in there with a note tell her she had to be out of the house by tomorrow at 9pm because at 10pm is when the people who bought the house are gonna be there.
Plus, I shaved almost all my hair and dyed it almost all pink. The roots are already coming in now though. My hair grows fast when it's short and then slows down. I pull all the bangs to one side. It looks cool in my opinion.
I think I'm going to make a new super suit as well. After that fight with JJ11 and Vanessa and the dress causing me to nearly flash myself to JJ11. I still want a skirt. But maybe turn in a bit knight ish. That would be neat. And I could make the spikes on my gloves longer and make it two instead of four and curve a bit.
This is going to be good.
And then I get to thinking. I may be a virgin but some guy isn't gonna care I have a coochy during a fight. He's just gonna fight me and not care. Besides, I'm gonna be wearing those shorts you wear under skirts or whatever. Just a shorter version. But I am still making a new outfit, that one bugs me too much.
I feel like being watched and I glance around. There's some guy in his... I don't know... 50s... Staring at me. He walks over when I catch his glance. "Are you... Are you Alyn?" He asks in a whisper I can almost not hear. I nod "Can I talk to you in private?" He asks. I nod again and we walk out of the library and into the alley right beside.
"I'm Jonathan, Jonathan Crane. Or Scarecrow. And I know who you are, you're Wonder Wolf, and I hear you make potions. I was wondering, if you could make me a few," I nod, "yeah, do you have a list of which ones and a place to deliver them to?"
He digs in his pockets and pulls out a price of paper. "Here," on it is an address and a list of potions. He has this planned out.
He needs a deageing potion, three potions that make people unable to move for three at least an hour, a human bomb potion. I glance up and he's gone. I shrug. Oh yeah, I have to make my new outfit.
I get to the place I'm staying which is my library office at school. I put paper over all the windows and I keep the door locked. I already destroyed my tower and rebuild the roof and closet it messed up.
After I'm finished making the potions and my new wonder wolf outfit, I run to the address. It's a ware house. I shrug and walk in, "Mister Scarecrow?" He walks up. "Hello, oh you have the potions," "yeah, what are the for?"
"My final show,"
Chapter 49 - Not Sorry
Sparrow's POV
I smile as the newbie, JJ, pulls me into the room. JJ11 is following slowly, frowning.
I pull away from JJ and go to my boyfriend, I grab his hand and he smiles and looks at me,,
"Hey."
"Hi."
We follow JJ into the corner and he runs and turns the light on.
"Ta-da!"
I see a guy with black hair chained up and passed out on the floor.
"Who's that?"
I ask.
He's kinda cute.
I shake my head, I have a boyfriend and I plan to stay with him for a while.
"I know him, that's Damian."
JJII says.
"How'd you know that?"
JJ asks.
"I just do."
That's right, if JJ turns back to Robin and he knows our identity, he'd tell Batman, and who knows what would happen then.
"What do we do with him now?"
JJ asks.
"Uhhh, kill him?"
My boyfriend suggests.
I hit his arm,
"Not yet idiot."
He rubs his arm,
"Fineeeeee."
I smile and give him a quick kiss. I rub off the paint from my lips and smile.
"We are going to scare him and send him on his way, you idiots."
JJ starts backing up, he's holding his head and mumbling things.
"JJ?"
He yelps and turns.
"What am I doing here again?"
He starts backing to a separate corner, he's crying some.
I hit JJII,
"I thought you gave him his medicine to keep him with us!"
"Uhhh, I did."
I sigh.
"L-leave me alone!"
He screams, tears running down his face fast.
I guess he saw his reflection in the mirror next to him.
Great.
He pulls out a knife, from who knows where, and points it at JJ11.
"G-Get away."
I sigh again.
"Honey. Shhhhh."
I walk to him and pull the knife from him before he stabs me.
"It's OK."
I put my hand on his cheek,
"You might have a headache later on though."
I grab his head and slam it on the mirror beside him. It cracks and he slumps down.
" Opps... Not sorry."
I laugh.
