MP: Yeah, yeah, I know. No murdering me for not posting for a while, I was on vacation with family. Then I had the Pride Festival to help with and attend. And then school. Then to top it all off, I've been in and out of the hospital. I'm having breathing issues and have already been brought to the ER after I just stopped breathing. The only thing the Docs have been able to tell me is that I have an abnormal heart-beat, but they're unsure of what's causing me to have issues breathing. So I'll try to update as much as possible, but I won't make a lot of promises. I'm in a lot of pain right now (My chest and head hurt from my breathing problems) and can't take strong pain killers in case I have another breathing attack.

I am so sorry guys. So I'm back with a brand new chapter, I hope you like it! :)

xmenfan33- Yeah, Rogue's memories are being rather difficult with her. Poor thing, but things can never be easy. Or at least not in my stories they can't.

1983Sarah- Thank you dear! :) I can't wait to see what you think of this chapter!

Wolf skater- Being totally evil isn't bad, I rather enjoy it. And yep, you win dear. I do hope you enjoy my surprise for you :) And yes, Lorna is awesome! I'm glad I worked out a way for her to be apart of this. Yay!

SUMMARY: Despite it being a year since Rogue's kidnapping, she still hasn't recovered her memories yet. With everyone anxious and worried about Rogue's amnesia and new found control over her abilities, no one's noticing the two storms brewing right outside their door. Can the X-men survive the trails ahead? Can Rogue's and Remy's new (well not really new, not for Remy at least) relationship? SEQUAL TO HIT N' RUN.

And here is a quick age count for reference, if there are any I've missed or someone's age you want to know just message me and I'll post it in the next chapter (Also it's summer time, so no one's really in school, but this is where they plan for school.):

Also I want to point this out real quick. There is a difference between Flashes and Flashbacks. I had someone PM me about that and I'll explain it. Flashes are quick bursts of memory, that aren't very clear and are mostly going to be associated with Rogue. Flashbacks are someone looking back. These are usually going to be slightly longer than flashes and have distinguishable features to them.

~Chapter 4: Big Bad Wolf.~

"Should I be scared?"
"I don't know little red, you tell me. Are you scared of the big bad wolf?"

-Medlab, 3 hours later.-

Rogue sat on a normal hospital bed -her hospital bed technically, reserved for her just in case- in the infirmary as Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy went through the standard mutant medical examination. Rogue learned that she had apparently passed out earlier after what Charles calls a mental exertion, though she could really care less as of now. They had no idea why it had happened or

After being unconscious for three long hours, she had awoken with a killer headache and another small case of amnesia. Unfortunately she couldn't remember what those damn memories were that she has seen and made her pass out in the first place. It frustrated the petite brunette to no end and has caused her to be rather irritable.

Hank had tried to get Rogue to rest before her examination, but the stubborn nineteen year old wasn't having any of it. She wanted out of this room and this bed as fast as possible, she was done with damn medical bay. She also wanted some pain killers, yeah nice pain killers to stop the drummer in her head. That and much more sleep, more sleep sounded very nice.

"I believe you know the standard procedure Rogue." Hank said with a friendly smile and Rogue nodded, letting out a huff of air. She really is starting to hate this place, like a lot. The smell of the completely sterile lab was starting to make her feel sick and the way the light bounced off of silver walls made her eyes ache.

"Mhmm." Rogue hums out, trying not groan or curse. "Ah swear, Ah know it well enough that Ah could probably become your assistant and help examine the othahs." Rogue muttered and Hank laughed, grabbing his equipment and standing in front of Rogue. "Now -"

"Let's begin. First your heartbeat," Rogue interrupted and Hank nodded, taking his stethoscope and placing it to Rogue's chest and listening closely. After listening and making sure the beat was regular, Hank nodded approvingly.

"Very strong heartbeat Rogue, very good." Hank says to her. Before he could continue Rogue interupted him and continued the examination herself.

"Then blood pressure, menstrual cycle? two weeks ago. Participate in any sexual activities? Nope. Hearing voices? Ah wish. Headaches? Only this mornin'. Any other strange symptoms worth mentioning? No. Have you recently gotten hurt in the Danger Room? Only cuts and bruises Hank, cuts and bruises. Bruises you say, any bruising to the head? Nope and yes Ah'm sure." Rogue interrupted dryly, a tired smile on her face. "Ah already know the drill Hank, just please get started." Hanks nodded, a chuckle passing his lips, and he began the examination.

"Okay, now just let me put this here." Hank said, placing the heart monitor on her long and slender middle finger. "And let me check your heart." Hank said and nodded. It's not like she could do anything else. With a soft sigh, Rogue waited for the examination to be over.

Standing right outside of the med lab was a very concerned Logan Howlett, a pacing Remy LeBeau, a praying Kurt Wagner, and a frustrated Charles Xavier. The four men all seemed to be tense as they waited for Hank to come out of the Med Lab and inform them of Rogue's health.

"Chuck?" Logan said, breaking the silence and turning to look at the bald man. "What the hell is going on?" He asked and both LeBeau and Wagner turned to the professor, each one of them on edge as they waited for Charles to answer them.

"I honestly don't know Logan." Charles admitted with a sigh. "Rogue's mind is very complicated, but never before have I seen a mind behave like this. Memories don't just disappear on their own. Not for this long. At first I believed that her amnesia was caused by the car accident, this fact was proved by Hank who reviewed her scans and concurred with me. But now, any damage that was there has been healed. Her memories should have returned, but not like this." Kurt turned away from Charles, resuming his prayer for his sister. Logan growled in annoyance, not happy with the answer given to him. But Remy, Remy continued to stare at the older man with suspicion.

"You're not tellin' us somet'ing." Remy said, narrowing his eyes and causing the other two men to turn back to Charles. While Charles' telepathic shields often blocked out Remy's empathy, in such a emotionally exhausting time his shields were greatly weakened.

"Remy, I don't-" Charles started, but was cut off by Logan.

"Chuck what the hell are you hidin'?" Logan asked gruffly. He wasn't in the mood for any secrets, especially not with his daughter being checked out by Hank. Charles hesitated to answer, but finally gave in with a sigh.

"There is only one explanation on why Rogue is like this." Charles said, refusing to look at any of the others. Instead his gaze went to the Medical Bay doors, waiting and hoping for Rogue and Hank to be done soon.

"Professor?" Kurt called, worry shined in his bright yellow eyes. "Vhat is it?" Kurt asked, his tail flickering around on the floor.

"A telepath." Charles finally said. "A powerful enough telepath could have done this to Rogue." Everyone stopped, emotions ranging from fearful to down right murderous. To hear that Rogue's already delicate mind was being manipulated and twisted by some sick telepath had thrown everyone for a loop, making their emotions even more violent and unstable.

"So some spook is doing this to the kid?" Logan asked angrily, his teeth grinding painfully at the thought of someone hurt his little girl like that.

"It seems so." Charles responded, his tone low and dangerous. It wasn't often you heard such a tone from the elder and rational man, but when one of Charles' own was on the line; Well he got very dangerous.

"Why Rogue though? For shits and giggles?" Logan asked gruffly and Remy snorted at the stupid slang that Logan had somehow picked up from the Firefly known as John "Pryo" A.

"I do not know." Charles said, steepling his fingers. "Though I honestly don't think anyone would go through this trouble just for entertainment. Like I said, Rogue's mind is powerful even without telepathic training. The mental part of her mutation automatically lashes out at foreign presences and locks them away as a way to keep her sane. Her mutation and the mental shields should have protected her, they should've blocked out anyone just trying to probe her mind." Charles explained with a perplexed look on his face. None of this made sense to him and he honestly didn't like it.

"So w'at does dat mean?" Remy asks, his body craving a cig and the open outdoors. When things got too stressful, his trusty cigarettes had provided a nice relaxer.

"It means that Rogue was targeted specifically. Breaking into her mind would require not only patience, but also power. Especially if she had been targeted before her accident. Not only would the telepath have had to keep his distance from the institute to avoid detection, but also stay away whenever Jean, myself, or Emma were around the young girl." The tension in the hallway shot from painful to unbearable as all of them thought of what had been happening right under their noses. Somehow, someone had managed to cripple a team member, a family member, without anyone realizing until it was too late. "Our mystery telepath probably blocked Rogue's memories and something in the girl's room must have made her remember something very important to her." They all nodded in response to Charles, each of them getting more pissed off and worried by the second.

"So what do we do now Chuck?" Logan asked, feeling more helpless than every before.

"We wait and watch." Charles replied, not liking his own answer at all. Judging from the looks on the others' faces, they didn't like it either.

"Dat's it?!" Remy exclaimed, his black and red eyes glowing angrily.

"Yes that's it." Charles said in a firm tone. "I will be contacting a friend of mine and discreetly inquire about any telepaths with the power and patience to do this." Remy nodded, his anger slightly calmed at the reassuring thought that at least something would be getting done to help his lover.

"This friend proffessor, will they be able to help?" Kurt asked, his golden his filled with fearful and pained tears. A nod reassured the young German boy and put a small smile on his face, a dash of hope twinkling in his eyes.

"This friend of your Chuck, they got a name?" Logan questioned, not wanting to be in the dark about anything involved in captured the sicko who dared to think of hurting his little girl.

"Not one I can reveal, though I suppose it wouldn't hurt to say her screen name." Charles told them, doing a quick mental scan to make sure that no one besides himself and his three companions were within hearing range. "She goes by the name Wolf Skater and has provided me with good information whenever I've asked for it. She's a mutant like us and has been a reliable source."

"Wolf Skater?" Logan questioned, glancing at the amused Remy and the snickering Kurt. Obviously everyone emotions were unstable and the odd screen name had provided a nice and welcomed lightness to the atmosphere.

"She likes Wolves and she Ice Skates from time to time." Charles explained with a smile. His informant, Wolf_Skater, was a wonderful young woman and he couldn't wait for when she'd be joining his team and his family at the mansion. "Now why don't you all go, Rogue is up and Henry is about to release her. I'm sure friendly faces will do her a world of good." Charles told them and just like that, all three males had rushed inside the med-bay. Charles on the other hand turned his chair and wheeled over to the elevator. He had an Wolf to email.

And here you guys go. I hope you enjoy and I hope you like part 1 of your present Wolf Skater!

I know this seems short, but I am seriously running fumes right now. It's no excuse, but it's the truth. Again, sorry guys.
