Chapter 47
Silent POV
"Now Boarding Flight 47 to Sydney Australia." I pushed the flock ahead of me towards the exit while listening to Leo tells Sound about being on an air plane.
We were on our way to Australia, towards the Institution of Future Upbringing. It was basically the School I was created and raised in for the first few years before I was transferred to America. I wasn't stupid I knew exactly where the building was and what side of the building she would be on.
"Dad have you ever been on a plane?" Zack asked gripping my hand tighter. I nodded my head.
"Yeah, its just like how we fly except it we don't have to do anything and we can just relax" I exclaimed handing tickets to the lady at the desk before ushering the 6 flock members towards then onto the plane.
"Rows J, K, and L are ours. I don't care where you guys sit, but please behave" I said claiming the first seat in row J. Zack crawled up in the middle of the seat setting his backpack next to him. Two seats behind me Sound, Talia, and Ian sat. Both of the boys explaining something about how the plane works to her
Directly behind me Bright sat next to Leo her eyes closed and head resting on her shoulder. I had to suppress a growl from rising in the back of my throat. It wasn't that I didn't trust the two of them together its that Leo can slip up and say a lot of stupid shit. So basically, if he hurts Bright I'll Bash his face in.
"How long is the flight?"
"About a day if we don't make any stops. It would have taken at least a week to fly by ourselves." I said unzipping my backpack. "You should get some rest bud; it'll be a long flight." Zack sighed and put his bag on the floor curling up in his seat, his head resting on the arm rest.
I smile lightly then sighed and turned my head looking out the window watching as we took off.
**20 hours later***
This is possibly the longest flight in my life. I swear if the twins and Sound don't shut up someone's getting smacked. Since we were air born we could use electronics, the three of them were playing Minecraft, using the twins IPods and my IPhone. I looked back through the seats at them.
"Viva La Resistant!" Ian exclaimed punching the air.
"You pushed the Resistance leader into a gaint fan!" Sound said punching Ian hard on the arm.
"He was a traitor and a scoundrel!"
"I was trying to stop you from pushing other people into a giant fan!" Leo added. The three of them laughed and I rolled my eyes. I sat back in my seat and cracked my knuckles. God I really needed to stretch. I haven't moved from this seat in the last 20 hours.
Only because Zack's head was on my lap and second because if I walked past the twins to use to bathroom they would try and trip me. Not only did I need to stretch my legs but my wings were really starting to bother me. Sighing In defeat I gently moved Zack off of me setting him back in the seat heading towards the back of the plane. I grabbed Leo by the sleeve.
"Keep an eye on Zack for a few alright? Need to stretch the wings" I whispered. He nodded his head going back to his game. I let go of his shirt and walked into the bathroom at the back of the plane. I shut the door and locked it behind me. It was a lot larger that I expected.
Stripping off my jacket I pushed my wings through the slits in my shirt sighing in relief at the feeling. My 16 foot wingspan fit in the room, barely, but they fit. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror.
I wasn't an average teenager, if a 18 year old could be considered a teenager still. I was a Mutant Freak with wings and powers. I could never be normal; this was how my life was going to be forever. But I guess as long as I'm not alone in this I can handle anything that is thrown in my direction. Even if I have to risk my own life to save the people I love.
Authors note- Alright not the longest chapter but this is the FINAL chapter before the epilogue. I realized i didn't have as much to write as i thought i did. The epilogue will be up tonight! (12-13-13) ON FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH MWAAHAHAHAH! Anyways! Then the first chapter of the SEQUEL will be posted tonight or tomorrow.
I Still have no idea for a title but well i'll come up with one!
