Fionna steps onto the stage and looks at her boyfriend Marshall Lee for courage. He gives her a fanged smirk and that is enough for her. She gives Gumball a nod to start the song. When the music starts, Fionna sings out her true feelings.

(I do not own this song. This is Still Into You by Paramore. I used it because it kind of reminds me of my story plot. Just think about every moment of the story that the song refers to. It is really heartwarming.)

Fionna looks at Marshall Lee, who has floated by her side. She gives him a quick peck on the cheek and continues singing.

Fionna points at Marshall Lee and smiles happily.

Fionna grins as she recalls the day she became immortal and saved Marshall Lee.

Fionna takes break from the song, while Marshall Lee plays his bass for the guitar solo with Cake playing a few notes on her dulcimer.

The crowd shrieks and cheers them on when the song ends. Fionna smiles like crazy, and Marshall Lee pulls her in for a kiss.
'This night is so math.' Fionna thinks. Then, Marshall Lee pulls away, he looks Fionna in her crystal blue eyes. Before he can even speak, the Gumball Guardian' s warnings pull them apart.
"I knew it!" the giant guard yells. "Prince Gumball you're being jacked!"
"What!?" the Prince of Candy asks confused. They look up see someone on the roof of Gumball's castle. The thief closes the Candy Prince's bedroom window and makes a run for it on the roof.
"Someone's robbing Gumball!". Fionna moves out of Marshall Lee's grasp and grabs her adventure pack from the side of the stage. She turns to Cake. "And you told me there wasn't going to be any evil to kick. Glad I wore my adventuring clothes." Fionna says gesturing to her shirt. "Now. What time is it?"
"Thief Catching Time!" The sisterly duo says fist bumping. With that, Cake stretches her and Fionna after the robber. Marshall Lee is about to fly after them when Gumball puts a hand in his shoulder.
"Let them handle this one." Gumball says. Marshall Lee nods, but he can't shake the feeling that he needs to help.
"Hey buttcheeks! Drop the stolen stuff and turn yourself in!" Fionna says jumping off of Cake and landing in front of the thief' s path.

"Hey!" Fionna shrieks. "I said hand it over!"
The thief remains quiet. He's wearing a long black cloak with the hood pulled over his head, so they can't make out his face. With the bag hauled over his shoulder, he has a leather indigo shirt with sleeves that stops above his elbow. He has a black belt that holds many tools and weapons, including his sword.
He stands there for a second, then pulls out his sword. Fionna copies his move, and they clash swords with one another. Cake, figuring that Fionna wants to handle this guy alone, steps back and let's them go at it, only planning to step in when her sister needs her. But suddenly, a Pegasus, three times as big as her, jumps up from behind the castle and flies at her at top speed. It's hair is a sparkly rainbow color, and the wings and skin are a pure beautiful white that if it was daylight, it would look majestic.
Cake stretches out in defense mode and dodges out of the steed' s way. While they go at it, Fionna is in the middle of a stalemate battle with the mysterious robber. Adrenaline kicks in, and Fionna pushes her sword harder against the thief' s. He moves back, and Fionna uses his move against him by kicking him down and points her sword at him.
"Hey hey alright! Wait!" the thief begs. He stands and pulls off his hood. And Fionna is taken aback at what she sees.
"You're a human girl. L-like me." Fionna stutters in surprise. The girl has silver hair that shines in the moonlight. She has a flawless complexion and skin that is a pale white. "Heck yeah I'm a girl! What boy would wear a pair of long black boots and speak like this!?" she yells. Before Fionna can continue questioning her, Cake grunts.
"Aaargh! Call off the horse!" she says trying to push the Pegasus off.
"She's a Pegasus!" the girl yells in defense. "Eternity! Come!"
The hooved animal gets off of Cake and runs to its master's side. Marshall Lee appears holding Gumball as they float on the roof by the four.
"What's going on?" Gumball asks.
"Yeah. I wanna know why this weenie thinks she can try to kill my girlfriend!" Marshall Lee hisses with his demon eyes revealed.
"I'll tell you everything later, but I need these things and Fionna now." The girl says.
"And why would we let that happen?" Gumball asks.
"Because the fate of the world depends on it."
"Who are you?" Fionna asks confused.
"My name is Shoku. I've come from the future to warn you. Something terrible will happen."
"So you steal from princy here and you expect us to listen to you?" Marshall Lee asks.
"Listen you jerk!. If I don't, none of you morons will exist in the future! All of the kingdoms will be destroyed. Even the Nightosphere. Everyone will die! Even you Vampire King!" Shoku yells.
"What?" Cake says.
"Yes. And if you want to help, you'd let me see Fionna for a second to fix it!"
"Wait!" Gumball says. "I normally don't listen to thieves but this seems like you are serious."
"Wait Gumball. I have a test." Fionna says. She pulls her sword away from Shoku and walks up to her.
"If you're from the future, you'll answer these three questions that no one would answer. First, will I age at all in the future?" "No. You can't. You're immortal now because you gave away your mortality to Death." Shoku says smirking with confidence.
"Correct. Second, which one of these dudes right here am I going out with?"
"Easy, bat brains over here." Shoku says jerking her thumb at Marshall Lee. He hisses and Fionna calms him down with a pat on the shoulder and a reassuring look.
"Lastly, if you are from the future, where is your time machine?" Fionna asks.
"I don't need one. I have a spell that allows me to travel through time." Shoku says pulling out her spell book. It resembled the Enchiridian, only it was smaller and said "Spells".
"Lets take this to a better location." Gumball says. He walks to the roof' s edge and addresses the crowd. "Okay everybody! Party's over! Go home!" Everyone sighs in disappointment and the head into their houses. He turns back to his friends and Shoku and he reveals a trapdoor on the roof after chanting a sentence in ancient candy code. They all walk down the steps and they stand in Gumball's lab.
"Alright let's see what you need." Gumball says once everyone is settled in the room.
"Alright. As I was saying before. I'm from the future. Year Of the Cosmotic Wars. I came back to tell you that the world and Fionna is in danger." Shoku says calmly.
"Wait before I forget, are you human?" Fionna asks.
"Yes. I'm human."
"How? There shouldn't ever be another human after Fionna." Gumball asks.
"Yes there are going to be humans after Fionna. But if I told you, that would alter the future. Besides THAT person, I am one of the girls from the Human Clan." Shoku explains.
"Clan? Full of humans?" Fionna asks with hope.
"Yes, there is a whole clan of humans in the future. Ones that were abandoned overtime." "Are they here now?" Fionna asks.
"They are, but we move around a lot. My mother should be around the underground Candy Kingdom."
"Wait if there is an underground clan under MY kingdom I would know." Gumball protests.
"Well sorry your highness, but there has been one ever since the Mushroom War."
"You see, thousands of years ago, when the war started, people had already thought it would occur. So they prepared for it. People had thought they were crazy and called them "Doomsday Prepers". Of course they knew, so they had a doomsday room installed under their homes and buildings. When the war started, they had food, water, shelter, clothes, and things to stay occupied. They even had outlets and electronic things. But when it ended, the electronic spree was over. And all of the families continued to carry on. Some died from natural causes that didn't have medicine. Some survived."
"When the world became Aaa, a human family, the Mertens, lost their first child during a knife storm. The storm had stopped, and the child was nowhere in sight. They were heart broken, but that was the beginning."
"The child was alone for only a few hours in the woods before she was discovered by a cat couple. Joshua the cat and his wife took the baby in, and treated him like their own. They raised her up to be fearless. Along with their eldest daughter. Before they knew it, Joshua and his wife had passed. And the eldest daughter took her adoptive sister hand in hand, and went to find a home."
"A-are my parents still alive?" Fionna asks.
"Yes. Both are alive and well. I'm sure around this time you should have a baby sibling."
Fionna, who has started to cry during the story, wipes away her tears and says with boldness. "Where are they?"
"No time for that! The main reason I came here is to warn you all." Shoku says stroking her majestic steed' s long mane. "In two years time, the Time of Oneness will commence. The Lich King will return to rip out the hatred in everything and consume it. He will create a giant storm that will kill everything. The world will reevolve." "But." Shoku pulls out her spell book and goes to the back. She sits it in the center table with everyone surrounding it. "In the provecy, a brave heroine will rise up to the challenge, and stop the Lich King."
"That's gonna be me!" Fionna says drumming her fists on the table in a fast paced rhythm.
"Or," Shoku says.
"Or?" Fionna says deflating.
"The Lich King will try to take over with soul." "What the stuff does that mean?" Cake asks.
"It means one of you who sits at this table will become one of the Lich' s minions."
"So why do you need Fionna?" Gumball asks.
"To avoid option two, I came back to cast a magic wall over all of Aaa. It was Finn's idea." Shoku says flipping through pages.
"Who's Finn?" Marshall Lee whispers to Fionna.
"Beats me. Sounds familiar though." Fionna says thinking about the name.
"Here it is. I hope you don't mind if I use the things I took from you your majesty." Shoku says picking up the bag.
"Not at all since thousand of lives are on the line." Gumball says holding up his hand.
"Okay." Shoku pulls out a few chemicals from the prince's lab and pauses.
"What?" Fionna asks.
"I need something full of sentimental magic." Shoku says. She looks up at Marshall Lee and her eyes dart to the axe bass he sat in the corner before he took his seat. "May I?" Shoku asks him.
"It won't disappear will it?" the Vampire King asks handing the weapon to her.
"Not a chance. I would never ruin the Kill Statue." Shoku says setting it on the table gently. All of the things circles the open page spell book. "Everybody join hands."
Marshall Lee takes Fionna's hand in his and gives it a quick squeeze. Fionna grabs Cake' s hand, who's holding Shoku' s. Who's holding Gumball's, who's sitting next to Marshall Lee.
"I'd rather hold hands with a naked clown!" Marshall Lee yells.
"You're acting like I'M excited." Gumball says.
"Guys just hold hands with each other. Please!" Fionna says.
The two boys look at each other in disgust and finally grab each other's hands. Shoku sighs heavily and begins chanting the spell.
"Meiraco terinety coloractomate retspunse. Wallerium panterium transperium Help us!"
The walls begin to shake violently and everyone holds on to each other for dear life. Fionna' s eyes glow blue and she begins to float to the ceiling. She let's go of Cake and Marshall's hands and her eyes roll back. Everyone is startled and surprised at what happens next.
The adventuress they know in love disappears.

Boom!
