Fionna opens her eyes and is engulfed in complete darkness. Wherever she is, it's cold and damp like old spaghetti.

"Hello?" She yells out. "Cake? Shoku? Marshall Lee? Gumball?"

No one responds.

"Am I in glob world?" She whispers.

"No dear. I'm afraid not."

Fionna turns around to face the bright beautiful light of what appears to be an angel. He hair is a long blond mane that flows past her small pale feet. Her eyes are an ice cold blue, and her peach face is flawlessly beautiful. Her dress falls down to her ankles and her small angel wings sticks out from behind her.

"Who are you?" Fionna asks.

"I am you. Light you that is. Light Fionna." the majestic angel speaks softly floating in front of her.

"How? I'm right here?"

"Silly girl. Everyone has a lightself. The Prince of Candy, your sister, the Vampire King, every one. You see, we are the lightones. We are the good side of all living and moving beings. No matter if they are immortal or old." Light Fionna explains. "But, there are darkones. Evil creatures of the bad side of you. So let's say for instance, name the most cruelest being you know, not including the Lich."

"Um a monster." Fionna insists.

"Even it has a meaner more cruel side. Then again, it has an angelic side. A lightside."

"Whoa. Math."

"Yes. Math. Listen dear, I've come to warn you about the future. One of your friends will be the death of you." Light Fionna says putting a hand on Fionna' s shoulder.

"Who?" Fionna asks.

"Marshall Lee."

"What the fluff do you mean when you said that you don't know where she is?" Marshall Lee growls as he pushes Shoku against the wall with his arm pressed against her neck.

"I'm saying that she dispersed into the second spirit realm. " Shoku chokes out.

"If she doesn't come back I will personally drain you of all you flippin blood! Where is she!?"

"Marshall Lee calm down boy." Cake days pulling him off of Shoku with her giant fist. "I wanna jack her up as much as you do. Don't forget she's MY sister too."

"Both of you need to calm down." Gumball says calmly. "What do you mean on the second spirit realm?"

"She reverted their to find herself. The greatest heroine needs to find herself first. It's in the profecy. If we all want Fionna to defeat the Lich, you must let her find herself." Shoku explains.

"How does she do that?" Gumball asks.

"She must past the death test." Shoku says.

Marshall Lee growls. He walks back up to Shoku and grabs her by the collar. "Fluff the fact that you're a girl, I'll kill you here and now if you don't BRING HER BACK!"

"How will he?" Fionna says softly. Surprised at the news.

"He's evil Fionna. The son of a demon. The son of the previous Vampire King. Earning the title not just be heir, but through strength. He has killed many. And one measly girlfriend will never change it." Light Fionna says putting a sympathetic hand on her shoulder.

Fionna began to shake her head as hot tears drip down her puffy cheeks.

"No. T-that's not true. Everyone can be good if they tried. And I know Marsh is good. He has to be!" Fionna sobs. She's trying her hardest to not cry, but the tears keep coming.

"Sweetie it is your fate. He will betray you. Whether it be on purpose or by accident. I'm sorry."

"But he wouldn't be able to like me if he didn't-" Fionna stops sobbing and begins to tremble violently in her own lap.

Light Fionna shows a little pity for her and holds out her palm.

"Fi look, I have summoned a moment in the present while you are here now."

Fionna looks up and is stunned by the moment happening before her.

Marshall Lee is holding Shoku's collar tightly with death glowing in his eyes. A glint of fear in her eyes.

"He's evil Fionna. It's running through his veins. Burning his core. He will do the deed."

Silence erupts through the area of darkness they sit in.

"No." Fionna whispers.

"What?" Light Fionna asks.

"I said NO!" Fionna pushes her Lightself off her and stands up. "Marshall Lee is a good guy! He's my bro. My b-boy- guy! And he likes me. We like each other. He wouldn't betray me!" Fionna yells. Feeling tingles at her fingertips. Good, she needs the pain.

"He will betray you!" Light Fionna shouts. Fionna floats above Light Fionna and feels a fiery sensation everywhere. Light pushes out from her every pore. Brightening the area up with her pureness. Light Fionna grabs her wrist and shakes her rapidly.

"He will be the death of you Fionna! Fate demands it!"

"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Fionna shrieks feeling as if she's exploding.

Blinding light fills half of her vision. And the last thing she sees is Light Fionna grinning and speaking words she can't make out.

Then the light takes over.

"Fionna."

When Fionna opens her eyes, Shoku, Gumball, and Cake are filling up her field of vision. Marshall Lee is leaning casually against the wall with his hands jerked down in his pockets.

"Huh. Told you bunny would wake up. I could feel it." Marshall Lee says floating over to Fionna.

"W-what happened?" Fionna croaks. Then what happened in what felt like years ago flooded back to her.

"You were only gone for five minutes in our time. But I bet it felt like a millennium ago for you huh?" Shoku asks.

"Yeah. How?"

"Fionna girl are you okay? You're so pale." Cake asks worriedly.

"Peachy." Fionna says plainly.

"You seem different." Gumball says.

"Guys I'm fine! Glob!" Fionna yells throughout her hands up. Everyone turns to look at Marshall, surprised he's taking this so calmly.

"You heard blue. Let her be." Marshall Lee says with a chuckle.

"Fionna. What happened?" Shoku asks. "Did my plan work?"

"I don't know about your plan but I woke up in a dark and cold place. Then I met my lightself." Fionna explains.

"Lightself?" Gumball asks.

"Yes lightself. I've been taught that it's your angelic side. Continue please." Shoku says hurriedly.

"Yeah. So she after she explained that, she told me that..." Fionna stops. She just couldn't speak those horrible words. What would they say?"

"She said what? What did she say Fionna?" Marshall Lee asks.

"She...just said that...Marshall Lee would be the death of me." Fionna says softly.

Silence cuts through the room as everyone takes in the news. Cake, who can't take it any longer, jumps Marshall and tries to scratch his face up.

"Aargh! Don't you touch her!" Cake screams.

"Cake!" Fionna says grabbing the cat of of Marshall. "Cake it's okay. It was just a lie." Fionna says.

"A lie! Fi angels can't lie! They're ANGELS!" Cake roars.

"Shoku tell her that Light me lied." Fionna says turning to the silver haired teen. Who was strangely quiet.

"I-" Shoku turns and looks at Fionna, then Marshall. "I'm afraid not. Cake is right. The angel' s words speak true. Even if they sound phony to you."

"Fi don't listen to this BS I love you too much to hurt you." Marshall Lee says caressing Fionna' s cheek.

"But there is more. She said that you might do it on accident. Or not by your own will. Some bunk like that." Fionna mumbles.

"How can you kill by accident?" Gumball says mostly to himself.

"Fi..." Marshall Lee manages to choke out. This isn't real. He couldn't hurt her.

"Fionna believe in what that angel said. You have found yourself by not believing her now, but her words are true. I'm sorry but...the Vampire King will kill you in some way." Shoku says softly but loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. Fear crosses Fionna' s eyes and Shoku decides to change the subject. "Well, Finn will be looking for me about now. I'll see you guys in the future. Or maybe I might drop by again when you need help? I don't know. Let glob decide."

Shoku opens her spell book and taps her chin. "Oh right!" She runs over to Marshall Lee and Prince his finger with her thumbnail.

"Ow what the fluff.?" Marshall Lee says. Shoku smears his thumb against the spell page. "I needed vampire blood to get here, so I need it to leave. By the way, thanks for letting me prick you finger in the future to get here!" Shoku says in a chirpy voice. She looks at Fi and hands her a small marble that shined a silvery blue. "Ever need help, just rub it like a lamp."

Fionna smiles at Shoku and gives her a big hug.

"Thanks Shoku. You are officially my friend. Even if you are from the future." Fionna says softly.

"Hey, us humans have to stick together." Shoku says pulling away from Fionna and they fist bump. "I'll see you on the flip side. And don't worry, I'll be back soon."

She turns to Gumball. "Your highness, thank you for your time and not arresting me." She says bowing.

"Innocent lives where on the line Shoku. So thank you." Gumball says bowing to her.

Shoku chuckles softly and turns to Cake."You've got a math sister. Never forget that. And stick together. Forever."

"Don't have to tell me twice." Cake says stretching and fist bumping Shoku. Eternity clicks over and rubs against Cake' s shoulder. "And you know what, I think you're pegasus is pretty math. Bring her next time you come so we can hang out."

"I always bring Eternity with me." Shoku says and walks up to Marshall Lee.

"Look no hard feelings alright?" Marshall Lee says trying to cut the goodbye short, but Shoku pulls him in for a hug anyways. Earning a grunt from the vampire. "You should know by now that I don't take simple pity things. " Shoku says pulling away and she holds out her fist."Your girlfriend starts this trend in the future so it's a habit for me."

With a soft chuckle, Marshall Lee fist bumps Shoku. The time traveler finally speaks her spell.

"Titronia travelria escome spiritum year of the pegasus." Shoku chants and a blue portal appears. Before she steps in, she turns to Marshall Lee and smirks. "And their names are Misty and Frankie." and with that, she leaves the past Aaa.
