A Concerned Public
"Sir, we keep getting complaints," Officer Takagi addressed Inspector Megure.
"Oh?"
"Yes, the neighbors of the Kudo Shinichi and Ran are calling in frequently about the smell 'like something rotten' coming from the house. Oh, and they're reporting decaying bodies mixed in with the Kudo garbage."
"And your point is? We all know that people are going to somehow die and wind up around Kudo-kun sooner or later."
Although he didn't deny that, Takagi's tone still turned disbelieving.
"People are starting to become outraged, though."
Megure sighed.
"Very well, I'll visit Kudo-kun and have a word with him."
"Good luck."
