Baratie

The crew dock their ship a few feet away. The Devil Fruit users rode on Mini Merry while the others swan. Sanji used Moon Walk so he wouldn't get wet.

They walked in and found the whole was dark even thought it was early even. Luffy started drooling, "Where is everybody with the meat?"

The lights turned on and chives shouted, "Welcome back Sanji!"The whole room was filled with balloons and food. A huge banner hung reading, "Congratulations!"

Sanji every were wide, "How did you guys know we were coming?"

From the corner a commanding like voice was heard, "A little mail bird told us with a letter."

Nami had a knowing look in her eyes, "I am happy he made it in time."

Sanji turned to see where the came from, it was Zeff who was smiling, "Did you find All Blue, Eggplant?"

Sanji growled at the nickname while saying, "You bet I did, all our dreams came true!"

Zeff looked over at where Luffy was drooling at the food, "Why don't we let the others eat and you show me All Blue?"

Sanji nodded and Zeff told everyone to start cooking for a bigger meal. Sanji walked over to Luffy who just ate a whole turkey. Sanji asked, "Luffy is it ok I show Zeff the ship?"

Luffy looked up and nodded, "Zeff can I read your journal?"

Zeff looked surprise but smile, "Sure you can," opening his jacket and putted out a worn out notebook, "Be careful with it, it's very important to me."

Luffy nodded pass the notebook to Zoro while saying, "Hold that for me till I am done eating."

Zoro grunted but held onto the notebook while having a drinking contest with Sabo.

Nami and Robin was with Chelsea looking at all the decorations. Brook was on the stairs eating and talking to a band member. Franky was been led by Patty to the kitchen, talking about a leaking sink. Chopper was standing by Zoro eating a cake.

Sanji lead Zeff into the dining hall where the tank was kept. Sofas were all around and it was quiet. Sanji turned on the tank light. He turned and smiled, "Owner Zeff, this tank has unique water that only where North, East, South, and West fish can live in harmony. I never gave up and I found it."

Zeff walked forward and put a hand on the glass and looked at every fish. He turned around and looked at Sanji, tears falling down his face, "I am so proud of you Eggplant, you made our dreams come true."

Sanji smiled and took a seat on the chair while lighting a cigarette. He said, "It's all thanks to Luffy, pushing all of us to follow our dreams. We just have a few more things to fulfill before we are happy."

Zeff took a seat next to him, "You really have grown Sanji. I can tell you truly care for your crew."

Sanji nodded , "I went through hell for 2 years so I can make sure the Pirate King and the crew ate healthy food. even though Luffy never notice."

"Did you find yourself a girlfriend yet?" A sneaky smile appear on Zeff's face.

A small blush appear on Sanji's face, "I have not, I been busy taking care of the but I do like Nami-swan."

Luffy and Chopper came running in with a huge Elephant Tina. They ran to Sanji and Luffy said, "The chives said this is their present to us for becoming the Pirate King's crew." Chopper nodded in excitement.

Zeff nodded, "Patty and Carne caught it yesterday and remember how you always loved cooking the Elephant Tuna."

Sanji smiled and said, "Chopper asked Robin or Nami to open the fridge and I will cook it for dinner once we reach Coco Village."

Chopper nodded and ran ff. Luffy took a seat across from them. It was a special seat that look just just Merry's figure head.

Zeff looked at him and laughed, "A waiter boy coming Pirate King and a smart mouth boy coming Pirate King's cook. Not something you see everyday."

Luffy looked up and said, "I wouldn't had done it without my nakama. After Ace died I wad about to give up on my dream. Till Jimbie reminded me that I still had them."

Sanji's eyes soften and said, "When I heard the news I was ready to hurt women just to come and see you."

Luffy came serious ans asked, "Sanji what is your plans to do next now that you found All Blue?"

Sanji let off a breath of smoke before saying, "The chief and your personal guard will be with you till the end of my life."

Luffy let out a big smile, "Whoop, I couldn't have found any better chief in the world!"

Sanji smile at the compliment.

Later

Everyone was fast asleep expect Zeff and Sanji, they were in Zeff's room talking privately. Sanji always saw Zeff as a father and a teacher. He wouldn't been alive at this point or be as power as he is.

Sanji sat in a chair and Zeff sat on his bed. Sanji asked, "Do you ever regret saving my life 13 years ago?"

Zeff lifted his head and looked Sanji straight in the eyes. He said, "Sanji even if I knew I will loose my leg, my whole crew, and have no food for 85 days, I will never once hesitated to save you."

Sanji always regret what happened. taking away all of Zeff's powers and than been trained in the same style before he left Baratie. But he learned the most important thing; never waste food and don't turn away a starving person.

Zeff asked, "What happened to you guys before the huge war that only Luffy appear at?"

Sanji shivered at the memories of those two years. He said, "Barthola Kuma separated us. Luffy made a group of alliance to save Ace and headed out to fight the marines. Luffy was able to free Ace but Akainu got to them. Ace shield Luffy and got his insides brunt. Ace died right there in Luffy's arms." Sanji clenched his and bit down onto his lip making it bleed.

Zeff stared at the ceiling and let out a sigh, "I can't even imagine what he went through.

Sanji smiled and said, "While I went through hell for 2 straight years. Running from a group of cross dressing men while coming a better fighter and a cook. I even learned how to run on air because of them. I came faster and learned how to cook better."

Zeff let out a laugh, "I bet it was hell for man always chasing after women and have a harder time getting along with men."

Sanji laughed, "You have no clue old man. But i had one goal in mind: to get stronger and become the best for Luffy and the Straw Hats."

Zeff smiled, "You really did matured from that day my crew attack till now. I really am proud of you Sanji and I am happy you made our dream come true."

Sanji bowed, "Thank you for everything Zeff. I wouldn't be alive today if wasn't for you. You taught me how to cook and also how to fight."

Zeff said, "Don't ever think I regret a single day that I save your smart mouth. You helped me make Baratie and make our dream come true."

They sat there for most of the night talking and laughing about their their memories together.

Good Bye

Luffy sat in front of the fridge with some chives pointing out the meat he wanted to take with him. The others sat around finishing their breakfast while waiting for Sanji to finish.

Sanji soon came out and took a seat next to Chopper. A bag slung over his shoulder and asked, "Are we ready to set sail Luffy?"

Luffy looked over his shoulder a piece of ham stuff in his mouth. He swallow it whole and said, "All ready to go." He sat Zeff's journal down on the table and stood up.

Everyone stood up and followed in silence. Sanji follow with a smile on his face, remembering his past at Baratie. He said, "I am really going miss this place."

All the chives stood outside in two rows leaving a path for the Straw Hats. Patty stepped forward and said, "You take care Sanji, and don't poison everyone with your horrible cooking."

Sanji smiled before sending a light kick to Patty's head, "Take care of the Old Fart and Baratie. Baratie is his treasure and my treasure also."

Sanji continue on his way to Sunny when a voice was heard, "Don't go and catch a cold."

Zeff stood there on the balcony with a smile on his face. Sanji turned as tears fell down his face and said proudly, "All Blue does exist Owner Zeff. Once again thank you for everything." He bow deeply to Zeff before getting onto Sunny.

Zeff watched in silence as Luffy and the crew got everything ready. Luffy leaped on top of Sunny's head, "Alright lets set sail Coco Village!"

Sanji stood there waving good bye to everyone till he couldn't see Baratie anymore. Afterwards he took the wheel in silence.
