Things finally calmed down a bit two days ago, then everything went to hell again. Not literally. Although the motel up near the eastern tunnel does have a bit of a hell-ish vibe to it. Maybe there is something in that... Anyway. The factions who turned up finally started working together a little bit. Still fighting each other, but I think they've realised now that thanks to the bees making sure they don't die decapitating each other over the right to kill a massive fuckoff monster is pretty futile. Plus the blood was staining the sidewalk.
Either way they've calmed down a bit and started making some kind of push to investigate whatever the hell happened here. I didn't get any of this myself, by the way. Danny's spy-plane is pretty damn useful, not just for taking naughty photos but for taking other naughty photos. I mean instead of flying over that kooky cult he's had it flying over the rest of the island. Seen them in action. I don't know if they teamed up with those corporate types, the 'Men in Black', but they were kind of working with them over on that old oil wreck just off-shore. Didn't really make a dent in the zombie population but if I know my horror movies (and I do) it's going to take a nuke to clear those bastards out.
I'd rather they didn't use a nuke. Not while I'm still around at least.
Oh, alright. I'd take Danny away too.
And the Sherrif. And Deputy Andy. And I suppose Montag isn't too bad...
Okay, can we start over? I don't want anyone else to die. Which admittedly looks a bit further away every day. The wards are still holding, one of the Templars was kind enough to fix them up for us, but then they went off and started fighting the good fight again. Or bad fight. Some fight anyway. Then things went from bad, to not so bad but still pretty darn bad. Then they got a lot worse.
That cat guy I mentioned before? I didn't just see him that one time. He's come up again, and again, in dreams and nightmares and walking around the campus. He's not even trying to hide now, but as long as the wards hold he can't touch us. Doesn't mean he can't get to any of the others though. I wanted to do something, I wanted to fight, but Montag wouldn't have it. I had to sneak out just to get in the basement (again, the Templars helped sort out the crap down there, and by crap I mean monsters. Which is pretty much the only meaning for that word these days). There's like a weird fog over the whole place, and looking out a window I swear I saw a fire on the beach. Screams on the wind. It's just so damn creepy, and this is me who's talking. I can just about withstand Montag's comments, so if I'm getting properly creeped out then something is pretty messed up.
I hope someone does something soon. It's nice seeing the factions actually get along, sort of, because it means something's actually being done. Not so sure I want to join any of them when I'm done with school, though. Not if this is the sort of crap they deal with. Assuming I have a school left to finish, at least...
