I do not own Ouran High School Host Club. If I did, well... let's just say that somehow it'd be completely different than what you know it to be now.

"We're going on a trip to a beach!" Tamaki yelled excitedly. Akiko rubbed her ear, a look of venom on her face. Tamaki ignored her expression and continued, "And not just any beach, we'll be going to Guam!"

"But we thought that Haruhi didn't have a passport," the Hitachiin twins said at the same time.

"I didn't," Haruhi deadpanned, "but then Kyoya-senpai made me get one."

The twins went over to Kyoya's table and leaned on his shoulders, "Why did you do that, Mommy?"

Kyoya glared at them with eyes like a demon, making them run and hide behind a couch. Akiko shuddered. He was truly scary.

"Because Haruhi didn't have a passport, we couldn't go on any Host Club trips to other countries… it was affecting our sales," Kyoya told them.

"Does that mean…" Honey went up to Tamaki, staring up at him with his big eyes, "… we can go and try the chocolate cakes in Switzerland?"

Tamaki twirled around, his blonde hair waving in the wind as he went on about how he can start bringing Haruhi onto trips. Akiko decided to tune him out, but that soon became impossible after the twins suggested that Haruhi and Akiko sleep with them whenever they have to stay at a hotel.

"…you bastards! How dare you even suggest a thing?" Tamaki screamed at them.

Out of nowhere, Akiko felt arms wrap around her. She looked behind her and saw one of the Hitachiin twins. When she glanced at Haruhi, she could see that he was in the same position.

"I don't think…" one of the twins started.

"…that they would mind, Tono," the other finished his brother's sentence.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH AKI-HIME AND HARUHI LIKE THAT? LEAVE AT ONCE!" Tamaki tried to pull the twins off the two girls.

"Hey, Hitachiin twin that's not hugging me?" Akiko called out, catching the attention of the red-headed devil that was holding onto Haruhi. Akiko took a deep breath before asking, "Are you gay?"

The twin blinked at her, and she could feel the one behind her doing the same. Everyone was speechless for a few moments until Akiko continued, "I mean, 'cause Haruhi's a boy and all…. I don't understand why Suoh-san would want him to wear dresses… unless…" Akiko's mouth dropped, "Haruhi! Are you transgender or a cross-dresser?!"

"Well, I guess I am a cross-dresser…"

The twins let go of the two girls and confronted Tamaki, who couldn't escape because he was in a corner, "Tono, I can't believe that you let out a big secret."

"Actually, I don't think it's such a big deal," Akiko put her hand to her chin, thinking deeply, "I mean, I think it's okay that Haruhi is a cross-dresser… I mean, it just makes him unique! It's not every day that you find a boy who likes girl clothes."

Everyone in the room except Akiko sweatdropped.

"She doesn't really understand, does she?" the twins said together. They went over to Haruhi and put their elbows on her shoulders, leaning on her like they usually did, "It turns out that your secret isn't exposed after all."

"I'm pretty sure I understand everything," Akiko nodded, trying to reassure the boys – well, she thought them all as boys, anyways, "Anyways, can we continue discussing our trip?"

"Of course, my sweet daughter!" Tamaki nodded enthusiastically, "We'll be leaving this in two hours!"

Akiko's eyes widened. Gaping, she tried to process what she just heard, "…two… hours from now?"

"Which means…" Hikaru said.

Kaoru continued his brother's sentence, "…we have to leave now."

Tamaki started going into frenzy mode, dragging everyone through the school and into a limo that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Akiko was zoned out for the most part. Staying up late last night really did affect her.

xXx

"Hnnnn…."

Akiko's eyelids were closed. But still, she could feel the heat warming her face and she could see wavy lines of red behind her closed lids. So tired…. So so tired…

She reached around her until she grabbed one of the big, fluffy pillows lying next to her and covered her face with it. She was slowly succumbing back into the lovely world of sleep, when someone spoke up.

"I see that you're awake. Everyone is waiting downstairs for you," Kyoya stated in a bored tone. He was sitting on a chair next to the bed, an book laying open on his lap. Akiko sat up in the queen bed. The pillow fell back onto the sheets as she glared at Kyoya.

"I hate you, Ootori-san. I really, really do," Akiko said with a nod.

There was a ghost of a smile on Kyoya's lips, "Ah, maybe you should rethink that."

Akiko's eyebrows furrowed, "Why's that?"

Kyoya rested his chin on his hand, "I don't know if you've heard yet, but your aunt is considering an arrangement between the Yamada Estates and the Ootori Group. And—"

"What?!" Akiko interrupted. She jumped out of the bed and faced Kyoya, "What… what kind of arrangement are you talking about?"

"Well, my father and your aunt were thinking of an engagement, but it's really up to you. I don't want to marry a girl like you, but I'll do it for my father," Kyoya told the shocked girl, picking up his book again.

Akiko gaped at him, unsure of what to say. Is this what obasan wanted to talk to me about? What am I supposed to say? Akiko ran a hand through her messy hair and bit her lip.

"I'm… I'm going to go downstairs to see the others," Akiko walked over to the door before looking behind her for a moment, "Talk to you later, Ootori-san."

Akiko shut the door behind her, and sighed with relief. Now… I need to find out where a bathroom is… I really do need to fix myself up…

A/N: Gomen! I'm so sorry for not writing a new chapter sooner, and let alone that this chapter is much shorter than my usual ones. I have my reasons, though! First of all, it took a long time to settle into our new house. Second, I used to be homeschooled so I had more time to write, but now I go to a real school with other people and I get a lot of homework, and then I have dance class, piano lessons, and... yeah. But I'll try to write more!

But here's some good news: I'm starting to write Annoying Love! Well, actually, I'm going to rename it to Mischievous Affection (because I found out that a lot of stories on here are called Annoying Love and I like having things a little bit different. But I bet that a lot of stories are called Mischievous Affection, too. ;_;).

Also, I think Kyoya's a bit... OOC-ish in this chapter? I'm really really sorry! I'm trying my best, but it's hard to get back into a character's mind after a while of not writing.

Anyways, I'm off to go and put of Mischievous Affection! Please review, and come back next time!
