Teaming Up

This chapter is very different from the rest. Don't take it too seriously as it's supposed to be nonsensical and funny, so you're warned.

2nd Day of Training. Dojo.

"All right everybody," Stein said to his blindfolded students. "This exercise is to train your Soul Perception. I want you to brawl with the first soul wavelength you can feel near you. Understood?"

"Hai, Professor!" answered all the students in a chorus as they started punching and kicking whoever was near them.

He smiled at the sight and the sound of crunching bones, and smiled more when people like Black Star or Kirikou, who couldn't use their Soul Perception, were fighting with the air or with the dummies the dojo had.

PAW!

"HYEE!"

PUM!

"Ouououou!"

KICK!

"Ughu!"

The older meister heard several pained groans and immediately focused his sight on a possessed pink-haired Kim throwing punch after kick around herself like a mad, hitting whoever was unfortunate enough to be near in the process.

The girl seemed to be unaware of what she was doing so Stein hoped someone strong enough like Patty or Maka would knock her out before someone got truly hurt from her mad flailing.

But his hopes were crushed and he frowned when he saw an unsuspecting Kid fall on his knees after receiving a full kick on a sensitive part.

4rd Day of Training. Crescent Moon Classroom.

In the board were the words "Professor Stein's Super Scrabble Game" as Stein and just a small buch of his class were sitting around in a circle. There were some missing spots between every person now and then, but nobody seemed to mind or more like they didn't have the time to.

The game was simple indeed. You only had to play scrabble. After every match, the person with the least points was trapped into a different torturing device that was around the room and had to wait there until one of their team members managed to reach a score of 100.

If a complete team was put into punishment, then they all had to spend all morning in the devices.

There was a sound of someone placing a pair of letters on the board game until they formed the word "ZAXES".

"Very clever. Well done, Mr. Éclar." said Stein as he checked his dictionary. "You win this game. Feel free to liberate your friends and go."

The Pots were congratulating the cynic boy while Ox rocketed out of his spot and went to free his Kim from her cage and Jackie from a bronze bull. He then proceeded to put Kirikou off the breaking wheel he was being held in.

"S-T-U-D-Y," said Stein as he placed a new set of letters on the board game making the seven kids jump. "As what you have to do for the super exam we're having tomorrow!"

They nodded quickly and left the classroom very traumatized while a trapped Liz yelled at them for mercy from a big closed iron maiden.

"So," the professor said turning his attention to a nervous Tsubaki and a scared-to-death girl. "Ready for another match?"

5th Day of Training. Crescent Moon Classroom.

"It's exam time," said the mad meister sadistically as he held a long pile of papers on both hands. "We're going to see how molecular physics affects a Soul Resonance between Demon Weapons and meisters so I hope you studied well that subject."

He got no answer as most of his students still looked pale from the experience from yesterday. Even when they were sure their professor wouldn't do anything to seriously hurt them, they still felt fear.

It was a good thing these kids didn't know about the potential danger they were in if Stein had one of his Madness attacks or they would be more than scared of him.

"Yeah, right." the silver-haired said as he passed the exams around. He felt like he needed a cigarette. "You have three hours."

… (3 hours later)…

After Stein came back and picked the exams Ox, Harvar and Maka were the only ones still having the will to move and not stay dead on their seats, though the Demon Weapon boy had a slight headache.

He excused himself to go for something to the infirmary while Maka and Ox proceeded to share answers. Everything was okay with both having the same correct answers until…

"The answer of question 369 was 1, right?" asked Maka.

Ox looked at her with a raised eyebrow and said "No way! It was 7. Considering the fact that the molecular mass from the element has to weight more than the critical mass of the subject's soul, it's not possible for it to be 1."

Silence. Both meisters looked each other dead in the eyes.

"NOOOO! MY 100 IS RUINNED!" Maka whined as she fell on her knees.

Ox just smirked in secret.

7th Day of Training. Secondary Campus.

Every male (but Stein who was on his stitched chair with a cigarette on mouth watching at the sky as if distracted by something) were on boxers, covered in mud and with huge nosebleeds at the sight before them.

"Kyaaa!"

"Take that you boob-monster!"

"Hey! Leave my meister alone, you fiend!"

Indeed. The next kind of training Stein gave them was wrestling in the mud. They were all divided two big groups according to their sex and left to fight in behalf of their team.

Everything was okay until one of the boys that got thrown out of the fighting area noticed how well the girls were fighting. So yeah, after grabbing the attention of his male companions, they all made a temporal truce to watch the amazing brawl of the girls in their bikinis and swimming suits.

The only ones who continued to play away from the others were the two little Pots. Death blesses their innocent minds.

8th Day of Training. Secondary Campus.

"I said the only rule was not killing each other," scolded Stein.

Kirikou held his gauntleted hand in front of his chest defensively and said with a nervous smile "But professor, I didn't kill anyone. They're just knocked out."

Stein sighed in defeat as he turned his giant screw to the right. "Well, next time you're "it" try not to punch anyone in the face with your weapons, all right?"

"Eyuup!"

9th Day of Training. Shibusen Pool.

"Are you sure this is totally safe?" yelled Kirikou from the springboard with Fire and Thunder in tow. "I don't want them to be hurt, you know?"

"Completely!" replied Stein. "Now get down there and let them do their work; you already had your opportunity, Kirikou!"

The African-American begrudgingly climbed down and watched as his little partners prepared to jump.

He hoped the two would be okay. It was true they were thought thanks to their Weapon heritage, but still… a fall from 10 meters still hurts, right? He's sure it does as he experienced it first hand, but what he didn't expect was the little Pots jump perfectly synchronized, adopt a free position in the air, and make a pair of cartwheels to finally enter the water raising a minimum splash of water.

Everyone present (but, of course, Stein) was left hanging with their mouths open while the jury decided on their score.

Marie said 10.0; Azusa said 9.8 and Nygus said 10.00 while Excalibur wrote "fool".

10th Day of Training. Death & Gilley's.

Maka fidgeted as she climbed on the machine. "I'm serious, Professor, isn't this supposed to be a strip club?"

"Quiet!" answered Stein back. "Now prepare yourself."

Maka gulped and tried to find the best pose she could find in that piece of scrap metal. When she was done Stein activated the machine and the mechanical bull started moving. First in a slowly and steady way, building up power and ferocity every second it passed until Maka was thrown away to the next side of the room.

"Fifteen seconds. Even Professor Marie can do better than that, I'm disappointed Miss. Albarn," said Stein then looked at his list. "Well, next is Miss. Dupré."

Said girl gulped loudly. Considering the luck her friends and the others had, she suspected she wasn't going to like the experience. The best record till now was from one of the boys from the other teams of 8 minutes before he was thrown out too, after all. How could she manage to beat that?

And the fact that Maka was grabbing her head in pain while Soul helped her stand did nothing to ease her jumpy nerves.

The Demon Weapon climbed and locked her hands around the "neck" of the machine. She told herself she was doing this for her friend Kim and her team, but couldn't stop herself from praying to whoever could hear her she didn't get killed there when the bloody bull started moving.

The brunette girl was finally thrown away from the crazed machine landing with a loud thud. Just as Jackie's clawing iron-like grip finally gave away when the sweat of her own hands made the bull's surface slippery enough.

"Ten minutes…" said an astonished Stein as Kim and the rest of her team surrounded the greenish knocked out girl.

Yellow to you, friends and anonymous readers!

As you all can see, the past chapter was supposed to be the last one, but silly me for having the tendency to do extra chapters for the kicks of writing them. xD

Anyway, I hope you liked this story… even if I kinda slacked/was busy/went out of the country for a month to finish it earlier. I apologize for that.

No? Oh… but I even did a double update! WHAT more do you WANT from MEEEH?! D:

*Ehem* I had too much fun writing it. Using my seven favorites like that was surely difficult for me and more so because I didn't have any experience using so many characters at once, but meh. At the end it worked fine and more when I did that editing-thingie.

So, that's it. Thank you for bearing with me and I hope you enjoyed the story as much as I did.

Tschüss!
