Alright final chapter! Woo hoo! It's short and kinda cheesy, but isn't that the point? Anywho, sorry for making you wait so long, enjoy and please R&r to tell me what you think, and if I should make more short stories/one-shots
"This stuff is brilliant, Ally!" Austin protested, trying to reach back for the book. I had made a beeline for the bed and snatched it out of his hands, but it was almost too late. He had already seen some of my stuff!
"If I'm going to do this, I have a few rules. Rule number one is no touching my book! Rule number two-"
"No kissing? Because that wouldn't work out. You know? We sort of have to." Austin puckered his lips and gave me a look with his eyes.
I blushed a deep red. "You know, we are going to have to make this believable!" I gave him a look, "But if you keep making me uncomfortable, it's going to be really hard!"
Austin sighed. "Aright, I got you. I won't say stuff like that anymore. I promise."
"Thank you."
"But you know, those lyrics were brilliant! I want to try them out sometime!" He saw my hesitant look and gave me an innocent look, full of longing. "Please?"
I sighed, "Fine. One song."
"Yay! You won't regret it!"
Day One Of Filming:
"So?"
"We sing the song, and then play it over the video. So, there isn't really a ton of actual singing, this is mainly acting."
"I knew that!" I scowled at Austin, still remembering how late we stayed up that night, watching movies side by side, just enjoying each other's company. "I just mean, where do I go after this part?"
"Well, we are trying to get the first verse done in the next three days. And then the two days after that will be dedicated to the choruses, and then three days for the final verse."
Simple enough. The story line was as such; a young girl and a young boy meet each other, have the best night of their life, and then go there separate ways, never forgetting each other. Kind of sad if you ask me. But they do meet up in the end, so it's all good.
The first part was just at the club, which was really fun to do. After the club Austin and I left it to go on an all night adventure, just doing stupid, fun stuff. Those scene were the most fun to film.
There was one of us having a cup of coffee in the subway, then the next scene we were night swimming in a pool full of glow sticks.
Austin was so much fun to hang out with, and we chilled together everyday after filming. The next scene we were snapping photos of each other using those wind up cameras, followed by a carnival trip!
After the carnival, it was time for…that scene. You know…the dreaded one. It was supposed to take place after we go on the Ferris wheel, we get stuck at the top and Austin sings said I had a dirty mouth (I got a dirty mouth)
But she kissed me like she meant it
I said, "Can I take you home with me?"
She said, "Never in your wildest dreams!"
I was supposed to kiss him at that part, and today was the day.
"Today is the day." Austin slung one arm against the wall I was next too, leaning in close. "If you're not up to it we can just pretend. I know this scene might be too much for a good girl like you-"he stopped when he saw my expression. "What?"
I snorted. "First off, I'm a professional and just because I seem so innocent doesn't mean that kissing someone on camera is 'too much' for me."
"Yeah, but the lyrics clearly say, like she meant it. You won't mean it."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "I'm a better actor than you'll ever be. I'm worried about you."
Austin yelped and looked furious. "Me? I can't wai-"
At that moment, the director appeared. "Oh good, you two are ready. Let's go, the conditions are perfect."
I glared at Austin. I'll show you.
There we were, sitting on the Ferris wheel, waiting for the signal. Austin was smirking, looking ready for a delicate little peck. He winked, and I felt a flutter in my stomach. Okay, who was I kidding; I couldn't wait for this scene.
"Try not to blush too much." Austin whispered out of the corner of his mouth.
I was saved from a retort by a loud "action" from the director. I turned, and gave Austin my biggest smirk. His eyes knitted together before I leaned over and kissed him. Not even a delicate barely there kiss a kiss like I meant it. I leaned in close, putting my hand to his cheek and kissed him passionately.
Austin stiffened in surprise, obviously not expecting it. He relaxed immediately and kissed back with equal passion. The butterflies erupted in my stomach and turned into fireworks.
"Cut!" the director yelled after a few moments. Just to make sure he actually wanted the cut, we stayed like that a few more seconds before breaking away.
"Wow." Austin breathed, looking at me in shock.
I nodded, completely agreeing. "Wow indeed."
After shooting the rest of the scene, it was time to go home. It was time to say goodbye.
"I'm going to miss you." I said, looking into my coworker's brown eyes. I was sad, but I was glad I got to know this slightly childish, but still wonderful boy.
"I'm going to miss you too." Austin looked sorrowful. Then he smirked. "There's no way we aren't going to stay in touch."
"There's not?" I asked, feeling hopeful.
Austin shook his head. "Nope. After a kiss like that, we have to do that again for sure!"
I blushed, remembering my boldness. "But why me? You're a pop star; I'm just a regular girl."
Austin giggled, "You really think that matters to me? Plus, you promised to let me try one of your songs, so I'm holding you to it!"
"I'd like that."
And so, we parted ways, but not entirely. We still stayed in touch with each other, either he visiting me or me visiting him. There was a lot more kisses after the initial awkwardness, and we began to date pretty seriously. His next album featured two songs written by me. The one after that; almost all of them I had written.
I actually really enjoy telling people the story of how we met. It's kind of funny really.
Awww fluff! I hope y'all enjoyed this little story, and have a nice day! Thank you for all the lovely reviews and encouraging words:) R&r!
