Here is the next chapter…
Gwen screamed as she squeezed her eyes in pain. She held her large belly in her hands as she feared that she might be in labor. Her hand gripped the tree she was leaning on for support. She had never felt a pain like this before…and it frightened her. She silently prayed to The Mother that this pain will go away and her child would still be alive. Her grip on the tree's trunk slipped and she felt herself falling. She was luckily cached by Jaime's strong and muscular arms around her and his surprisingly shaky hands held her up by her upper arms.
"Jaime," she whimpered against his broad black leathered chest, "I-It hurts."
Jaime's jaw tightened in anger of not being able to help her. He had heard her screams and wails from his tent and his mind and his heart flinched at the sound. He hated being away from her because he kept on letting himself think of every possible thing that could happen to her. He knew he should've stopped himself, but…he just had to wonder. When he heard her, Jaime was conversing with a few of his guards because they were worried their new and small in height company.
He would not break his promise to Gwen. He remembered when he had broken his promise to her…he didn't stay true to her. Instead, she saw the worst thing he feared anyone of seeing especially her, he and Cersei having sex. Especially fucking at the most. He always wondered if she thought of that time especially when their relationship was mentioned. Now he knows, knows that he loves her, now that they are not only together, but husband and wife.
Their child was almost here and he promised himself that he would never let her be in that kind of pain or heartbreak again. So when he heard her, he ignored everyone around him, his thoughts only on her and his body moving his legs as he ran to the sound of the voice. He knew it was hers, but a little part inside of him hoped that it wasn't.
He could already see those long black waves of curls from where he was running. She looked to be in so much pain and lucky for him, he was able to catch up to her in time. He cached her and she leaned into him for support. Her face twisted in pain as they sat on the ground and she groaned, "Gods, I really…hope…I don't have the baby…here in this fucking forest!"
Jaime couldn't help, but laugh at her vulgar language. She turned her head to him and glared furiously at him, but then she started to laugh as well. They were laughing like mad men and they were on the dirty ground, not caring if they got dirty. Gwen wanted to force herself to be angry with him, but even as she thought about what she said and where they were, she laughed.
She stopped laughing and said, "It stopped. The pain…it's gone."
Jaime smiled and kissed the crown of her head. He helped her on her feet and said, "I'm glad that you two are ok. We are only a couple of miles from Casterly Rock."
"You better not be lying to me just so I'll get on a horse," she jested.
He smirked and pretended to act hurt. "Why, my little wife, I would never do such a thing."
She smiled warmly at him and got on her tip toes and kissed him. At first the kiss was sweet and nice, but then as Jaime's hands were planted on her hips, going a little lower, the kiss turned passionate and lustful. Gwen slightly pushed Jaime away and mumbled, "Sorry."
She tried to look down, but Jaime wouldn't have it so he lifted up her chin up to look at him in the eyes. She tried to smile, but it came out as a frown instead. "What's wrong, Gwen?"
She shook her head. "As much as I would like to continue, I-I just don't feel…" she gestured to her large belly, "Feel beautiful right now."
Jaime cupped her face in his hands and said sincerely, "You are the most beautiful woman that I have and will ever meet. I love you and your body, no matter the size."
She smiled and pecked his lips. "I know, but I just don't want to be so…so…so damn fat."
"You're not fat. In fact, I think your body is made for baring children. You don't need to be ashamed of your body." He urged.
Gwen could see that he was telling the truth and meant what he said to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered, "Let's wait till we get to Casterly Rock. I don't want prying eyes."
He nodded and held her hand as they walked back to the small campsite. Most eyes were on them and when Gwen looked at Arya, hers weren't on them. She looked a little angry as she stared into the miles of trees. Gwen slid her hand out of Jaime's and put her hands protectively on her large belly and walked over to her. She smiled gently at her, but as she looked closely she noticed that her facial expression was impassive, but in her eyes she could clearly see the vengeance and anger…all directed towards Jaime.
Gwen sighed and closed her eyes. "Arya, don't." She warned.
Arya turned her heard towards her and said, "I'm not going to do what your think I'm going to do."
"So you're not going to be a pain in the ass for Jaime when we get to Casterly Rock," she challenged.
Arya eyed her and gave her a fake smile. "I haven't decided yet."
"Arya," she warned again.
"Don't 'Arya' me. They have done terrible things to not just my family, but yours too. He slaughtered your own family and mine right in front of your eyes."
"Jaime didn't do anything! That was his father, Arya! And the rest of his family except Tyrion!"
"The Imp?!"
"His name is Tyrion and please don't call either of them by those foul names."
Arya looked down and mumbled, "I'm sorry."
Something came over Gwen, but she quickly leaned over hand hugged Arya tightly. Arya was definitely surprised, but when she wrapped her arms around Gwen, it reminded her of a little girl holding onto her mother. Gwen held her even tighter and said, "I'll never let anyone hurt you ever again…and this is a promise to you I intend to keep."
It was a long moment until Arya finally spoke up again, saying softly, "Good."
They stayed liked this for a while until someone said behind them, "Um, my ladies we are leaving."
They pulled away and nodded. They went to their horses and Gwen felt slight discomfort when she sat on its back. She closed her eyes and breathed in and out. Gods, her vagina was hurting…badly. She briefly wondered how many months she has until the babe will be born because she cannot bare another uncomfortable second of having her child inside of her right now. She straightened herself up and just when she thought the pain was gone, she felt the hardest kick she had ever felt from the child in her belly.
"Ah!" she whimpered and crouched down on the horse until her forehead rested on its neck. She clutched her belly and felt Jaime's hand on her back.
"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.
She shook her head and straightened herself up again with the help of Jaime. "Nothing, it's just that…it kicked…very hard."
He visibly relaxed and rubbed her back. "Are you okay?"
She leaned over their horses and kissed him on the cheek, giving him a reassuring smile. "I'm fine. They'll pass though."
Jaime smiled at him and put his hand on her belly saying, "Good."
They kissed again and rode forward.
. . .
Jaime was right. Casterly Rock was only a few miles ahead of them so it didn't take that long. The sun was just barely setting right now. As they rode through Lannisport, they were greeted by everyone who lived there. It was an overwhelming feeling so Gwen decided to look up into the sky to get her mind off of it and try to stress her body out so much. She closed her eyes and then once she opened them, she became even more stressed because she saw the towering fortress they called, "Casterly Rock". Her mind went to all sorts of places. Questions poured through her head about if it was safe for her family.
What am I talking about, she scolded her paranoid mind, of course it's safe, and they claim that it has never fallen.
Never say never, she thought broodingly again.
She shook her head and decided to direct her attention to the streets, but it was the Sunset Sea that caught her eye instead. It was beautiful. Its waters glittered against the sunlight and shined in her eyes, almost blinding her from its beauty. All Gwen wanted to do was jump off the horse and dip her feet into it and drink in the glorious sun. She had never been in the Westerlands of Westeros, but now she was being easily charmed just like the rest of them.
Even Arya was gazing at everything in wonder and amazement, she tried not to, but she was clearly failing. Soon they came towards something that was a symbol that House Lannister lived here. A large golden lion's mouth led to the fortress. It was a gateway for everyone to see and fear of. Its mouth was opened and its teeth were the bars as if saying once they opened, "Fear us." or literally their motto, "Hear Me Roar". Gwen's breath hitched in her throat as the teeth went up and they rode forward going inside. She decided to call it, "The Lion's Mouth" since no one possibly gave it name yet.
Gwen curiously glanced over at Jaime and noticed that he didn't seem affected by any of this; no emotion was on his beautiful toned face. If he was then, she clearly didn't see it well enough. She looked over the fortress and it was so large that it actually intimidated her a little. She thought that maybe it was bigger than King's Landing itself. She certainly knew that it was richer than it since because of Robert that it was in debt to the Lannisters.
People told her that she was the wealthiest lady in Westeros, but Gwen didn't care about that nor she did agree with others on that opinion. That money belonged to her husband, not her. She wanted to remind everyone of that. She studied the fortress and she was bewildered by it. She smiled unconsciously knowing that she would have a lot of exploring to do in the fortress.
"What are you up to?" Jaime's voice came into her ear.
If it were a year ago, she may have jumped at the sound of his voice, but now, she welcomed it as safety and reassurance. She smirked at him. "Oh nothing out of the ordinary."
"Hmm, yeah sure." He gave her a quick peck and gestured with his head to ride beside him. She rode her horse next to him.
Jaime stood tall and proud on his horse like the Golden Lion he was and it made her proud that he gained his confidence he lost not too long ago when he lost his hand. Jaime leaned over and said with clear amusement in his voice, "I'll have someone get you some Lannister approved gowns."
She rolled her eyes and replied, "Why? Don't want people to mistake me for someone else's wife?"
He laughed. "Yes, that is exactly why. Besides people should know the Lady Guinevere Targaryen of House Lannister, Lady of Casterly Rock, Lady Lannister, and the daughter of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark…the girl who fooled the world."
She chuckled and shook her head. "That is too long of a title for me. How about Lady Guinevere Lannister, wife to Lord Jaime Lannister, mother to his future children?"
Jaime genuinely smiled as his face brightened. "I like that name much better."
This time she leaned over and pecked him on the lips before he could. They rode up a stoned bridge and as they got closer she noticed more detail of the fortress. It was planted on a great stone hill that overlooked everything, giving them an advantaged of any unexpected visitors. As they came towards two large double doors that touched the skies, she saw some people peep out of the fortress and glance at them. They were greeted by a crowd, who bowed their heads and Jaime's face became stone, reminding her a little of Tywin. She decided to not voice her opinions aloud not wanting to anger Jaime.
They all smiled politely at her and Jaime as they came more into view. Jaime's hand reassuring touched hers. Gwen turned her head and gave a nod at him, smiling. She let out a breath. Jaime mirrored her movement again and she did it again. He squeezed her hand and let go, holding his reins. They were finally here, she thought, I can't believe it.
Their horses made a nose as they stopped and her horse shook his head. She calmly stroked its neck and it calmed down. Jaime dismounted his horse and quickly strode over to hers before anyone else could help her down. He had his strong and firm hands planted on her waist while her, soft and delicate ones on his shoulders for support. Jaime smiled at her and helped her down, lifting her up. She couldn't help, but giggle a little as he twirled her a little and then set her down on her feet.
He kissed her temple and looped their arms as they walked to the servants, whose heads were still bowed. Jaime gestured for them to look up and Gwen was slightly surprised by how obedient they were. Once they all looked up, their eyes were directed at her though some were at Jaime. He noticed this, but made nothing about it. She wondered why they were looking at her, but she had an idea it was because of their display of affection towards one another and she couldn't blame. They were probably used to the coldness and emptiness from Tywin after losing his wife.
She hoped that Jaime would never be like that towards their children. In fear of this she consciously held her hands protectively over her belly. She didn't hear Jaime talk to them, stuck in her own thoughts about everything. She let her mind go to something she hadn't thought about in a while. Dany. She wondered if news got to her about her marriage to two of her enemies. She probably already knew about it. Distress was evident on her pale face as she thought in depth about her family. Gwen thought about the dreams she had, each telling her future.
Though perhaps they weren't of her future, but they're telling her that it will be if she doesn't change her ways. She knew that one she will claim herself as a Targaryen, take over King's Landing, plan to kill Jaime, have many great and powerful children someday, then die, but be reborn. It was an overpowering feeling to be felt.
It was like everything was in slow-motion as they dissolved into the castle or some other place while she stood planted to her spot. She decided that she wouldn't say anything to Jaime about what she saw…this will be the one lie in their marriage. Jaime shook her a little and she came back saying, "What?"
"Are you ok?"
"Yes, I'm fine. What is it?" She slightly snapped at him.
He sighed and had that look on his face like he wanted to know more. "Come on. Let's go to our chambers."
She nodded and looped arms with him as they walked almost either three or four flights of stairs. She didn't like any bit of it and was thankful that Jaime noticed because he carried her in his arms bridal style, reminding her of their wedding night which seemed like years ago. He opened the door and declared proudly, "Our chambers, Lady Lannister!"
She laughed easily, the stress and overwhelming feeling flowing away. "I thought we are to have separate chambers."
"Oh no, not separate. Maybe adjoining ones. Besides I want you every day and night warming my bed."
"And what makes you think that I will." She said as he set her down on the bed.
He raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh, I know you will. You won't be able to resist me."
She chuckled and whispered, "At least close the door and lock it."
He smirked and did as she told him too. He came back and quickly took off his amour as she slipped off her shoes and took off her jewelry which was her ring and a necklace from Jaime. Jaime slipped off his tunic and boots. He crawled over her in predatory kind of way that made her body heat up. They both wanted each other right then and there, having no care in the world who was waiting for them. She pulled him close to her, passionately kissing him.
"I love you," he mumbled against her lips.
"I love you too." She said with confidence.
He moaned softly as he unlaced her gown. He started to kiss the spot on her neck that makes her go crazy with moans. She immediately wrapped her legs around his waist, moaning softly. There was a loud knock at the door and Jaime groaned.
"Go away!" He shouted and went back to mauling her neck with kisses.
There was another knock and the voice bloomed through the door, "Lord Lannister, we have a situation that needs your attention!"
He groaned again and Gwen chuckled amusingly, "We are never going to be alone anymore."
He sighed. "I think your right, Little Lyanna."
