A/N: New Chapter. Not as long. Sorry it took so long. Busy week of work for me. The happenings in this chapter were probably expected for some of you. It's all going somewhere though. For those of you who have asked about Harry having more than one form, sorry, no can do. The magic is passed from father to son. Harry may have more Altor Regnum magic in him because of his ancestry, but his form and his ability to be an Altor Regnum come straight from his father's family line. Potter's can only be griffin's if the they are an Altor Regnum. Oh and I know nothing about military protocol so if I messed it up sorry. There is a fan poll on my profile page. I need your help deciding the future of this story. Check it out and if you have something to say good or bad, leave a review. Thanks.
Drunken Prince
Standard Disclaimer-I don't own Harry Potter. Just the stuff I make up about him.
Chapter 12-Dragon
Ron Weasley stared at his best mate with a look of near complete confusion. "What do you mean Harry? How can you be the Master of Death? Even if the Hallows are real, in order for you to be the Master of Death you would have to have all three Hallows. There is no way you can have all three. We don't even know where they are, or what they look like."
Harry could see that his two best friends were skeptical at best about this particular issue. Especially with all the other bombs he had dropped on them recently. He could see that Hermione was also gearing up for a fact based argument.
"Here me out guys. You know about my cloak. We discussed the possibility that it could be a Hallow. Dumbledore's portrait confirmed it to me. Then, you remember the snitch Dumbledore left me in his will?"
At this his friends both nodded.
"Well he intended for me to be able to open it when I was ready to die. He believed it was the only way to destroy the horcrux in my head, and it would have been had the Altor Regnum magic not done its work. So I explained what had happened at Shell Cottage to his portrait and he told me how to open the snitch. He left me this."
He held up the ring of Salazar Slytherin for them to see.
"Do you see the etchings on each side of the stone?"
Hermione spotted the symbol of the Hallows there as she examined it. Her mind went into overdrive. The war between what should be real and what was had her struggling to believe what was right in front of her face.
"The resurrection stone," breathed Ron.
Harry saw the comprehension dawning in Hermione's eyes and he looked at her with an expectant expression.
"Let me see it Harry. I know you have it. Let me see it."
Ron looked confused again. Ginny looked amused, and Hermione was determined as Harry reached into his robes and removed a long knotty wand.
He held it up so they could all see.
Ron spoke up. "That was Dumbledore's wand Harry. How can that be the Elder Wand? And what's more, how did you get it?"
"It is the Elder Wand," said Hermione. "It's the Elder Wand and Harry is the rightful owner of it. I can't believe I missed it. Grindelwald was the boy you saw steal the wand wasn't he Harry?"
Harry nodded then urged her to continue.
"Then Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald and took possession of the wand. He held it for years until the night he died."
"Then wouldn't that make Snape the rightful owner of the wand?" asked Ron. "Oh."
Hermione explained. "But Harry told us Draco disarmed Dumbledore but couldn't kill him, then Snape did it for him. Either way you look at it Harry is now the rightful owner of the wand. He overpowered Draco at Malfoy Manor and took his wand, then he defeated Snape here at the castle. Harry is the master of the wand. But when did you get the wand and how could you violate Dumbledore's grave like that?"
"I asked him if it was ok with him. I spoke to his portrait and told him what I thought I knew to be true about the wand and asked for his permission to get it. I could literally hear it calling to me once we took the castle."
"Are you going to keep it?" asked Ron.
"I think so. It feels better than Draco's wand. I have more control of the Altor Regnum power when I use it too. I think maybe I need to keep it. Although I'm starting to notice that I can do almost any spell now without my wand, when I use the wand I feel like I can access all my power, if that makes any sense."
They all nodded.
"Well what do we do now?" asked Ginny.
"I'm thinking sleep," responded Harry.
"Good idea mate!" Ron responded enthusiastically. "I'm beat. Although with all the excitement it might be hard to slow my mind."
They all agreed with Ron but broke up for bed anyways. Tomorrow was a big day of answering questions about engagements and getting reports on muggle bombings.

Flight Lieutenant Thomas Llewellyn, call sign 'Dragon', double checked the coordinates of the site he was scheduled to bomb in less than two minutes. He locked the coordinates into the onboard computer in his Tornado fighter/bomber. He loved this plane. It handled like a dream and he felt free when he was in the cockpit. Today was a strategic strike on the hidden base of the devil monster that tore up Wales recently. His orders came straight from the top. The Prime Minister himself had requested this strike. The mission was personal for Tommy as well. His wife Maegan grew up in Newbridge and her family still lived there when the attacks came. Her baby sister got out, but the rest didn't. His wife and her sister have been inconsolable since. These people were going to pay and it made Tommy proud to be able to be a part of the retribution. He was sure life as he knew it was never going to be the same again, but at least the monsters responsible for the destruction of his wife's ancestral home were going to get what was coming to them. The beeping on his dashboard console brought him out of his thoughts. It was time.

Breakfast in the great hall was a fairly excited affair as most people in the castle heard of Harry and Ginny's engagement for the first time. Harry played the excited future husband but on the inside he was thinking about the bombing of Riddle Manor. He knew it was supposed to be happening very soon. He had been promised a full report when the operation was complete. Harry didn't know that much about muggle military, but he knew this was going to work. He was fairly confident that this war was going to be over soon and the muggles were going to be a big part of it. Maybe even more important than the goblins.
"…Harry. Harry!"
"Sorry, what's that Ginny?"
"I said, what's on your mind love? You've been distracted all morning. A knut for your thoughts.
"I'm thinking about the bombing on the Riddle House and how to get Nagini. Plus there's the whole Altor Regnum thing with Neville. I don't know how I'm going to approach it. It would be kind of weird to just drop something like that on him. I mean he barely knows my story and he wouldn't just accept it would he? Plus I've been thinking that something needs to trigger the Altor Regnum magic. For me it was my friends being threatened.
"So you think he may need to be defending someone in order for the magic to take him fully?
"Maybe…."
Neville walked up right at that moment and clapped Harry on the back. "You ready for that chat you wanted to have Harry?"
"Yeah mate. Why don't you bring Hannah along too. She may be interested in the whole thing."
"Alright, I'll go ask her right quick then."
As Neville went off Harry turned to Ron. "Ron I could use your help. Feel like a bit of flying?"

The bomb had just been dropped at the coordinates and Tommy was circling back to survey the damage. The target was originally invisible to the eye just as he had been told it would be, but now you could see the remains of an estate. It looked like the main house was completely destroyed and most of the grounds as well. There was part of an out building still standing and a dilapidated fence still stood on one side of the estate. Tommy spoke into his radio. "This is Dragon One reporting in. Target has been destroyed. Repeat. Target has been destroyed. Over."
The reply came quickly. "Copy that Dragon One. You are clear to return to base."
If you had told any the forty seven death eaters that were in the Riddle House at the time that they would die because of a dragon attack, they might have believed it. If you had told them that the dragon would be a muggle flying a machine without any magic, they would have called you crazy. In the end it didn't matter, as not one of the forty seven dark wizards lived beyond the first ten seconds of the attack. Any story that would have been told about the attack died with them.

Harry, Neville, Ginny and Hannah were walking out on the grounds of the school near the lake. Harry and Neville were deep in a conversation while the girls lagged behind and whispered to each other.
"So this Altor Regnum magic runs in my blood just like it does in yours?" Neville inquired.
"The blood line has to be unbroken from male heir to male heir. You and me are the only ones left. I am actually related to all but one of the original Altor Regnum, and it wouldn't surprise me to find out you were related to more than one as well. The key though is that our families were part of the original seven, and our blood lines have remained unbroken since then. The Black family and the Nott family both went dark so the Altor Regnum magic was lost to them. The magic can't manifest itself in a dark wizard. The senior line of the Peverell's died out long ago. Then Gryffindor failed to produce a male heir about four hundred years ago, and Susan is a girl, so that line is lost as well. If Susan had been a bloke there might have been three of us in one generation."
"This is amazing Harry. I never knew anything about this. I know I've been getting stronger and bigger this last year, but I can't honestly say I can feel a different source of magic deep down like you said you can. Maybe I'm….."
There was an ear piercing shriek in the sky above them and a huge eagle swooped down and grabbed Hannah by the shoulders and carried her about a hundred meters away where it landed and turned back to protect its prey. Neville screamed in rage and started running towards the eagle. The bird spread its wings and blocked Hannah from Neville's view. Neville was furious and scared all at the same time. In an instant he felt the magic Harry had spoken about. It was a part of him, but it was separate. Later he would say it's like an apple. He was the skin. His magic was the meat of the apple, and the Altor Regnum magic was like the seeds at the core in the deepest part of himself. He let that deep magic loose and immediately felt the change. It was different than the way Harry described it. Harry said it felt like a flood of magic coming forward. To Neville it felt like fire. Like his urging had fanned the flames and now it was like an inferno ready to burst out of its containment. The fire built and his frame grew and exploded outward and upward. He had never felt anything like it. It didn't hurt. It felt right like it was always supposed to happen. His thoughts actually got clearer and his eyes focused harder. He could see the eagle like it was right in front of him. He could see the magic at the heart of that eagle and he could see the outline of Hannah's magic behind. His instincts all told him to get to Hannah. To protect her from this enemy. As he approached the eagle it spooked and took to flight. Neville lumbered forward towards Hannah.
"Neville?" He shook his head yes. "Neville is that really you love?" He inched towards her and she didn't back away. She stepped forward and put her hands on the magnificent creature before her.
Behind them Harry, Ginny, and Ron all watched in amazement as Hannah stroked the muzzle of a giant black dragon.
