Steve keeps having recurring nightmares, nightmares that he can't seem to remember. At the same time, he finds himself thinking of her more often, wishing to see her smile, wishing he could hold her... and so it begins. Finished.

5. He Saw

He saw her.

It was just a glance; nothing more.

Or maybe it was.

He knew he shouldn't be feeding himself such hopeful things; he didn't even know if he liked her in that way yet. Saving the world isn't necessarily the thing that brings couples together.

But he saw her.

And that mattered to him… somewhat.
