Chapter 70

Inside the building, the Guardians and they're wolves we figuring how to get out. "Are you sure this is the way out?" Asked Marcella who was carrying Selina on her back.

"There's no mistake, but it will be tricky." Said Jovana as she uses her visor.

"What do you mean?" Asked Luna.

"This space is a non-continuous hyperspace. In other words, this dimension is not connected to our world by a three-dimensional axis...but on a two-dimensional axis with connection made through the opposite coordinate...in two directions through space of zero dimensions." Jovana was speaking in a language of her own.

"Yeah, whatever. Just work it." Said Marcella who didn't understand a word she said.

"We'll have to rely on Guardian Jupiter for now." Sighed Luna.

"I'm counting on you. We have no time to be stuck here." Said Hermione. Selina was starting to wake up. "Guardian Moon."

"She's awake." Added Marcella. Selina looked around dazed and confused. It only took her a minute to realize what happened.

"Guardian Earth!" Selina somewhat panicked. She got off of Marcella's back and looked around. "Where is he? Where? Tell me where he is." No one couldn't answer back. "He's not dead, is he..."

"He is alive!" Marcella blurted out.

"Really?"

"But the enemy took him."

"The enemy? I see." Selina went quiet. Helios stepped in.

"Everyone, listen to me. Now that the Lady has awakened it's time you heard everything. Luna, you should hear me out." Helios suggested.

"Wait a minute. What are you talking about?" Asked Jovana.

"About our past lives. And the Gods Empire, Mount Olympus." Filled in Danica.

"In the ancient past...there started a powerful empire on the highest mountains of the world to the heavens in the sky called Mount Olympus. It is a peaceful and beautiful paradise. But then...Evil Will captured the Mortals' Land. They invaded Mount Olympus to gain the absolute power of the Iris Gems. The empire was being pounded in a fierce battle, but with the courageous self-sacrifice of the Goddess Iris, the Evil Will was sealed up. You are the Olympian Gods' children sort of say." Helios explains.

"Then...we are Deities too?" Asked Hermione.

"Most likely, since we all, I assumed are originally orphans to begin with, right?" Said Danica. The others all agreed.

"The Gods of Olympus were kind enough. In hope that Lady Selina and the rest of you could live a happy life as ordinary girls, they reincarnated you all now to protect this land and the Empire itself. But even here, in this era, someone broke the seal on the Evil Will." Said Helios.

"And this Evil Will is the ruler of the Evil Box Clan?" Asked Jovana as she still trying to figure out how to get out.

"That's right. If it weren't for them, you could have led happy lives as ordinary girls. But now you must defend the Moonstone and defeat the enemy. Otherwise, the peace of the world will not come." Added Luna.

"And it's our duty to fight for what's right. Do you understand? We have to join forces and fight so that the tragedy of the past will never happen again." Danica plus it.

"Right. Let's fight on." Marcella agreed.

"This is too much." whispered Selina. They all looked at her. "I don't want to fight anymore."

"What the hell are you saying?" Luna growled.

"I can't take it!"Selina grew depressed.

"You can't give up. You're Diana's Deity! It's your duty!" Said Danica.

"I don't care if I'm a Deity or not, it's got nothing to do with me. I'm Selina Chase."

"Selina, don't you understand your mission yet?" Asked Luna.

"Mission? What's that? Reincarnation? That has nothing to do with me! Listen to me, everyone! I don't want to fight anymore! If all of you...If all of you end up like Eddie...I couldn't stand it. I can't take it anymore." Selina was out of it. Marcella walked up to her and back hand slapped her across the face.

"Coward. Coward! Coward!" Marcella yelled out at her.

"Yes, I am. I'm not as strong as you, Marcy!" Selina cupped her red cheek and realized Marcella was crying. "Oh Marcy..."

"To save the likes of you, Eddie..." Marcella couldn't say no more.

"Guardian Moon still needs more time." Said Helios.

"But..." Luna butt in.

"Sooner or later, she'll go back to being the old Selina. Until then, we all have to defend her." Said Hermione with a smile.

"GOT IT!" Shout out Jovana. "Luna, I found a way out."

"Really? Then let's talk about this later. First, let's get out of here." Said Luna.

"Now let's go." Danica lead the way until she saw Lord Midas floating up above them.

"I'm surprised that you discovered the exit." He said. Selina backed up a bit and everyone else went in front of her in protection.

"Luna, Helios! Get everyone to safety." Ordered Danica.

"Right." Luna agreed.

"Be careful, Venus." Said Helios.

"Everyone, protect the Lady." Danica continues with the orders.

"I'll fight with you." Said Jovana.

"Yes, please." Danica smiled.

"You are wasting my time." Said Midas.

"Tin Strike, Crash!" Jovana's attack completely vanished due to Midas shield. "No way! He absorbed the energy!"

"Then how about this? Copper Beam, Blast!" The bright beam went right at him but ended up being sucked into his shield.

"It's no use. He'll absorb any energy in this space." Said Hermione.

"Then what can we do?" Asked Marcella. Midas combined the two attacks into one orb and blasted to the two offending Guardians. The two recover quickly.

"This is nothing." Said Jovana.

"You can't beat us." Added Danica.

"Then die!" Midas blasted another one.

"Look out!" Cried out Marcella and Hermione. After the attack, Danica and Jovana collapse flat on the floor. Marcella turned to Hermione.

"Look after her, Mercury." Marcella then looked to Selina. "Guardian Moon, have faith in yourself. You can do it."

"Are you prepared to die?" Midas asked.

"Iron Fist, Collide!" Her attack did the same like the others. Midas recreated the attack and blasted right back at her. She too collapse.

"Are you prepared to die, Diana's Deity?" Midas warned her.

"You'll have to beat me first." Hermione stood up.

"Do not interfere." Midas blasted her with a force of nature, she still stood on. "You pest." He did it again this time keeping Hermione down. Selina ran beside Hermione trying to wake her up.

"Hermione, are you all right?" Selina asked.

"Selina, be brave." Hermione said in her best effort.

"Oh Hermione."

Selina. Don't give up. Said Danica's voice.

Selina. Jovana.

Selina. Marcella also.

"All of you...guys...FINE!" Selina stood up looking very angry. Guardian Earth, please, give me your power.

Guardian Moon. Said his voice.

Guardian Earth!

Fight, Guardian Moon. The Moonstone, hold the Moonstone high.

"Right!" Selina took out the wand and spun it like a baton.

"So you're ready to go to the Underworld, Lady of the Moon. Fine. For the life of Admete...You must die!" Midas released a large orb of dark colours and aimed at Selina.

Please! Please, Moonstone! Selina was being blasted by his attack, then the Moonstone shone. It's powers blocked off his attack.

"What?!" He was amazed. The power of the Moonstone got bigger. Selina was giving her all. Midas vanished before he got himself killed. The existence of the building is no more. Selina was frozen in shock of she used her new attack. Midas appeared at his quarters in pain. "So she does know how to use the Moonstone.

Lady Pandora stood by and watch Eddie's body recuperate with Evil power. "Selina..." He whispered in pain.

"Lord Edward, you still haven't forgotten that girl? No matter how much you love her, Selina will never be yours." Spoke Pandora.

The sun rose from the horizon, Selina stood and prayed. Thank you, Guardian Earth.

"You saved us all." Said a voice. Selina turned to see. "Thank you, Guardian Moon." Said Danica.

"You'll fight with us, won't you?" Marcella asked.

"You guys...Yes!" Said Selina with a smile.

"This is like reaching first base." Said Luna.

"Good work, Selina." Added Helios.

"Join your powers and fight on. Then you can overcome any hardship." finished Luna. Selina looked out to the sun.

Guardian Earth must still be alive...somewhere.
