Under the night sky, with the light of the white moon, Lady Selina wearing her white roman gown saying her farewell to Lord Edward. "Edward, I want you to have this pocket watch. If you have any trouble remembering me, just open it and hear it tick." She placed the watch in his hands, she then hugged him tightly. "Please don't go." She whispered softly.
In bed sleeping soundly, Selina speaks a few words in a trance. Sitting in the corner of her room, Luna took the role has the bodyguard keeping an eye on her. "No more...No more about me being the Moon Deity. No more about having to fight against the Evil Will. I don't want that. I just want to stay a normal..." Luna listen to Selina speak in her sleep.
"Oh Selina, hang in there. You have to keep yourself together. You said that you would fight together with everybody, but you're actually still..." Selina turned over and flung her arm and smack Luna. "OUCH! That hurt Selina!"
"Guardian Earth, where are you? Please be alright." Selina whispered and started to cry in her sleep. Luna felt terrible.
"Oh Selina..."
In class at her usual college, Selina sat there on her desk like a rotten log. Ellie and a group of classmates walked over to the depressed Selina with a newspaper. "Hey, hey, Selina! Take a look! A new hair salon is open for business in downtown." Ellie said with such excitement.
"The salon's owned by Cybele, who just won the world hair design contest last month!" Mentioned a classmate.
"And that's not all! Are you ready for this?!" Ellie said.
"She's going to cut hair free of charge for a while in celebration of the grand opening!" Said the others.
"Isn't it wonderful?! Let's go!" Ellie was trying to get Selina moving, but all that girl did was make a big sigh. "What's wrong? You're not very energetic?" Realized Ellie. Selina just sat there being oblivious to all that's around her.
At the St. Mark's church, Fear and Terror were barking away the squirrels here and there meanwhile the Marcella was having a meeting with Luna, Hermione, Jovana and Danica. "It's true. Selina doesn't seem to be sleeping well these days. Even if she falls asleep for a little bit, she seems to just have sad dreams." Explained Luna.
"Poor Selina." Pity Hermione.
"We still don't know what happened to Guardian Earth after the enemy took him away?" Asked Jovana.
"No, he's still missing." Said Luna. Luna was thinking how Selina was not taking any participation in anything during these days. "Selina is so worried about Guardian Earth, she can't focus on anything right now."
"That's not good. We need Selina to be more aware of herself as the Moon Deity, or we'll be in big trouble!" Said Helios, looking stunning in his white blazer.
"But it can't be helped. The man she loves has been abducted, and we don't know what's happened to him. I can understand how she feels, too." Marcella mentioned.
"Oh? It's rare to hear you show concern for Selina."Jovana said, she then remembered what Marcella said to Selina when they back at that highrise.
"Eddie did all that just to protect a coward like you...Eddie did it all..."
"Sorry." Jovana apologized.
"I know it must be tough, but there's no time to indulge Selina!" Said Helios.
"That's right! This is all so we can crush the Evil Will's ambitions! She needs to become a full-fledged Deity as soon as possible and master how to use the Moonstone." Said Luna.
"I wish I could somehow help Selina recover." Danica said feeling somewhat left out of the social circle.
Selina was sitting on the floor of her darken bedroom, the blinds were not pulled up and lights were on, just dead quiet. She was staring at the ticking pocket watch on the bedside table and looked through a body length mirror. She started to cry when thought about Eddie calling her a tomboy. "You're such a jerk! Is my hairstyle really that plain?" Selina turned to the newspaper that advertise the new hair salon that she heard from college.
"That's the hair salon that just opened, isn't it?" Said a voice behind her. Selina turned to see who was it.
"Danica..."
"Sorry, you didn't answer, so I decided to just come in. Hey, Selina, how about a new hairstyle for a change of pace?"
"What?" Selina wasn't sure what Danica was thinking to do. Danica pulled out a chair, placed it in front of the mirror and patted on the seat.
"Come, sit here. It's comfortable here than the floor." Selina got up slowly and sat herself on the chair. Danica went behind Selina and played with her ash white-blonde hair. "Do you mind?" She asked.
"Not at all." Danica undid Selina's high ponytail and let it all loose. She took a brush and started to brush the hair.
"How about the appealingly mature and stylish bob cut? Or the slightly bold sauvage style? Or how about a nice and modest look with long, straight hair? A girl's mood can change a great deal, just by changing her hairstyle." Said Danica.
"Yeah. A hair salon, huh?" Wondered Selina.
In the dark cool world, Lord Midas watches over the sleeping body of Eddie. "Lord Midas." Said a voice. He turned to see Lady Pandora standing by.
"Lady Pandora."
"No matter what it takes, we must steal the Moonstone from Guardian Moon!"
"Yes, my lady."
"You still do not know who Guardian Moon is?"
"Please give me just a little more time."
"Do not take too long. Find out who Guardian Moon is immediately, and steal the Moonstone!"
"Please leave it to me. I have already set the next plan in motion."
"Really?" Pandora doubts him. Midas hold out a white strand of hair.
"This is a strand of Guardian Moon's hair, which I obtained during battle. I will find the person with the same hair, and uncover Guardian Moon's true identity without fail." He explained.
"Hmm, good. Act with care."
"Yes, my lady!"
Later that day, at the downtown core, the new salon was packed with customers from left to right. Cutting, dyeing, perming and washing. Danica entered the salon with Selina by her side and waited by the door. A woman of dark long hair introduced them. "Hello. Welcome to Cybele's Salon. I'm Cybele, what can I do for you?" Danica pushed Selina to the lady.
"Could you do something with this girl's hair?" She asked. Cybele walked up to Selina and examined her by touching her ponytail.
"Of course. My, you have such beautiful hair! Please come this way." Cybele guide Selina to the sink and set up for a wash. Cybele started to shampoo Selina's thoroughly. "If there are any itchy spots, please just tell me."
"Okay..." Responded Selina. From afar Danica watch Selina getting her hair wash.
Selina, I hope you feel better after this. Hoped Danica as she sat down to the waiting area. A hairdresser was placing a steamer over a customer's head. "Please stay like this for a while." She directed. Cybele stopped lathering for a moment and got her eye on one of the customers on the steamer. The machine began to glow a white light and then faded to red.
No. That girl is not Guardian Moon either. Thought Cybele. While she waits, Danica was reading a magazine and looking through the photos that she had done working as a model. One of the hairdresser walked up to her. "Thank you for waiting. Please come to the hair steamer." Danica looked up in embarrassment.
"Oh no. I just came here with my friend. I don't need any treatment as you can see." Danica flip her beautiful hair.
"Then please give our hair steamers a try. I'm sure we won't disappoint. Our hair steamers use a special steam that even fixes damaged hair in no time." The hairdresser insisted.
Well, I guess it's okay. It's free, after all. Danica thought through. The woman guide her to one of the available seats with the steamers already to go. Danica let loose her gorgeous hair and wrap it up in a towel. The hairdresser placed a cover over Danica's pricey clothes. She then lowered the steamer to Danica's head level and began treatment.
"Please stay like this for a while." She said to Danica, Danica just sat there admiring herself in the fashion magazines. Cybele again stopped washing Selina's hair for a moment and kept an eye on Danica's steamer. The machine started to glow white and then faded to a green light. Cybele's eyes went wide from the results, she then had them glowing red.
I have found you, Guardian Moon. Without realizing that she was still washing Selina's hair.
"Oh, could you move a little more to the right?" Selina requested, Cybele didn't acknowledge anything but the fact that she found Guardian Moon.
I have finally found out who Guardian Moon is!
