Chapter 72

Selina was sitting alone by the sink with her face covered with a towel as the water kept running. "Ms. Cybele, are you done shampooing my hair?" She asked not getting answer back. Cybele walked up to the oblivious Danica.

"I have found you, Guardian Moon!"

"What?!" Danica was confused. Cybele grabbed hard by the shoulder and shook her making her screaming in pain. Selina raised her head from the running sink and took the towel off her face to see what was happening.

"Danica?!" Selina somewhat panic. The other hairdressers sprayed hairspray in the air creating a mist. Immediately the other customers here fast asleep. Danica was take in by the effects of the mist.

"No! You must not sleep! Now, hand over the Moonstone!" Cybele demanded. Selina crawled on the floor and behind a counter avoid the mist and enemy.

"What are you talking about?" Danica was dazed. Cybele shook her again and threatening her with a pair of scissors.

"Don't play dumb! The steamer told me that your hair is the same as Guardian Moon's!"

"What?" Danica remembered that she was fooling around with Selina's hair earlier. I see, that's when Selina's hair got onto me... Cybele pushed her against the wall.

"So, you absolutely refuse to hand over the Moonstone. In that case, I have some ideas on how to change your mind." Cybele took center stage and her long dark hair completely wrapped itself all over Cybele's body transforming her into a woman wearing a gold crop top only covering her shoulders and breasts, ornate with glass beads. Also wore a matching full length dancer skirt with slits on both sides showing off her long legs. Her feet had on golden sandals that laced above her ankles. Her wrists were armored in metal cuffs.

"Oh, crap!" Danica was too weak to do anything at the moment. Selina was watching everything.

"Oh, great. The Evil Box Clan turned Ms. Cybele into someone else! Wait there, Danica, I'll rescue you soon. Upon the Rule of Diana, Lend Me Your Light!" Cybele's evil form walked up slowly to Danica until a voice. "Stop it!" The evil form turned to see who it was. "She is not Guardian Moon!" Said Selina. The woman was confused.

"Impossible!"

"You say you'll do haircuts for free, but you take advantage of girls who have little money! Guardian Moon will not forgive such a crooked mind! Under the Name of Diana, I will defeat you!"

"To think you came here on your own! Just like a slug jumping into a heap of salt!"

"Did you just called me a slug?!"

"I am the one and only Delilah and I will melt you like a slug!" Delilah blast hot air from her hands aimed at Selina. Selina dodged to the side. Danica is so weak all she can do is watch.

"Selina..." She fainted.

"Wet hair must be dried!" Delilah did another blast. Selina hid behind a counter again avoiding the attack. After she looked up and saw the plants that were displayed had turned into muck.

"Holy SHIT! That could have been me!" Selina freaked out.

"I will remove your unwanted hair!" Delilah took out a huge bronze age sword, jumped up into the air and came down at Selina. Selina once again leaped away from Delilah's crushing attack, causing a hole on the ground. Delilah started to throw small daggers at her.

"This is ridiculous!" Selina crashed into a cart of cosmetics. Delilah walked up to her with a handful of daggers between each finger. Selina did her defensive move. "Blinding Moonlight, Shine!" She moved her arms in a big circular motion creating a circle of white light shining very brightly blinding Delilah.

"Why you..." Delilah struggles to get her eyesight back. Selina took out her Silver Moon wand.

"Delilah! No, Ms. Cybele! With the Silver Moon Wand, I will turn you back into the old Ms. Cybele! Moonstone..." Before she could finish incantation, something cut her wrist and made her drop the wand. She look down to see what hit her and saw a black leaf stuck out of the floor. "This is...it can't be...it can't be..." She turned slowly to see if it was him. On a chair, sat Eddie in a different uniform. He wore the same suit but in a darker green and a black mask. "Guardian Earth! You're safe! I'm so glad!"

"I am not who you think!" He replied.

"What?!"

"I am a commander of the Evil Box Clan, Edward."

"You can't be!"

"Guardian Moon, hand over the Moonstone!"

"Why? How come?" Behind Selina, Delilah recover and prepared her sword.

"Finally, I will cut that white tail of yours!" Delilah charged after her.

"What?!" Selina notice the attack too late. Selina tried to jumped out of the way but ended up getting a cut on the shoulder. Selina ran to the door.

"Delilah! Take the Moonstone from her!" Edward ordered her.

"Yes, sir!"

"This can't be happening." Selina was in utter shock.

"I shall have your head!" Delilah charged after Selina.

"No way!" Selina ran out the door as fast as she could. Delilah crash through the closed door, Edward followed. Danica finally woke up and saw the just of it.

"I have to contact everyone. Guardian Earth is our enemy? Alright!" Danica brushed her hair aside to exposed her copper Venus symbol earring. "Upon the Rule of Venus, Lend Me Your Beauty!" Danica's body was covered in sparkling orange and pink light, transforming her into Guardian Venus. The battle now took place in the street, Delilah still chasing Selina around with her giant sword.

"Sit still and just let me have your head!" Delilah insisted, Selina dodge one of her slashes and instead Delilah hit a telephone poll.

"My head is not for you to take, you crazy weirdo!" Selina yelled back.

"What are you doing, Delilah?! Hurry up and get the Moonstone!" Ordered Edward.

"I can't believe this..." Selina was still confused. Delilah charge after Selina and almost chop her ankles off. Selina jumped away and landed hard badly. Selina was in pain as she watches Delilah walk up to her.

"Are you ready now?" Delilah asked with her sword aimed for Selina's neck.

"Stop right there!" She turned to her side and saw four other Guardians and two wolves.

"You guys! Get a move on!" Selina screamed at them.

"Iron Fist, Collide!"

"Tin Strike, Crash!" Their attacks combined and blasted away the mad woman Delilah.

"Quicksilver Haze, Surround!" Delilah got up without a sword and much weaker thanks to the mercury poison.

"Curses! I can't see a thing!"

"Now, Guardian Moon!" Shout out Danica who is still weak from before.

"You got it! Moonstone, Heal!" Selina waved her wand in a moon formation and the shone ever so brightly, a white light shine down on Delilah and transformed her back to Cybele the hairdresser. The woman then fainted in exhaust. Edward was not to happy from the results.

"Guardian Earth! You're safe! Eddie..." Marcella walked up to him slowly.

"Guardian Mars, he is not the Guardian Earth you know! He is the commander of the Evil Box Clan, Edward!" Explained Danica.

"That can't be true. It's not true, is it? Please just tell me it's a lie, Guardian Earth!" Marcella wants to hear it from him.

"Roses have thorns. You must know that even ivy has it's poison when you don't see the difference between the two types." Said Edward.

"Why?" Marcella asked.

"Are you really going to fight us?" Asked Hermione.

"I do not enjoy fighting women, but I will show no mercy in order to get the Moonstone!" Edward walked toward Selina, as she held onto the wand really tight, he then all of a sudden stop.

"Edward, withdraw this time." Said a familiar voice.

"What?!" He replied.

"This is an order from your Lady Pandora!" She explained.

"Guardian Warriors, it seems your time of death has been postponed." He said.

"What?" They were confused.

"Women's friendships are fleeting. Just like a fragile flower, they fall apart at the slightest breeze. Be careful. Good-Bye." Edward vanished into a dark hole. Has he returned to the dark cave of Evil, he stood before Lady Pandora. "Why did you tell me to come back?" he asked.

"Edward, I cannot have you die." Pandora walked up to him and hugged him tightly. "I can't risk that." Later on, she had a conversation with Lord Midas. "It seems Edward has become a warrior of the Dark Will, both mind and body."

"Yes, my lady! The brainwashing was very effective!" Lord Midas agreed.

"From now on, I expect Edward to be quite useful as a warrior of the Dark Will." Pandora did a evil laugh.

Back in the city, in the salon, everything was back to normal. Selina watch the salon carrying on to it's routine. "Ms. Cybele is just an ordinary person, who has nothing to do with our fight. I don't want people like her to get mixed up in our fights anymore." She said.

"Well, she finally seems to be more aware of what it means to be a deity." Said Helios. Selina bursted.

"But, I'm glad that Eddie is still alive!" Selina winked at her group. The group were dumbfounded.

"Just how is she aware of being the Deity again?" Luna asked.

"No! She's just trying to act tough there! At the very least, it means Selina has grown up has a person." Explained Helios.

"You too, Marcy. You can't mope about this forever." Said Jovana.

"You're right." Replied Marcella.

"Eddie is probably just being controlled by the bad guys and being used by them! So, I'll restore him back to his old self with the power of my love and strength!" Said Selina with toughness.
